We cannot say enough amazing things about Ronald and the Octagon Photography team. From the moment they arrived right on time, they brought incredible energy, professionalism, and genuine passion to our wedding day. Ronald was fully invested in every moment, from the bride getting ready to the groom and his preparation, making sure nothing was rushed or overlooked.
We had a packed schedule with three locations, including a hotel in Brooklyn, a church in Manhattan, and our reception at a Brooklyn restaurant, and somehow they made everything feel seamless. Ronald truly knew what he was doing. He posed us perfectly, kept everything moving, and stayed completely on schedule while still capturing every photo we asked for.
One of my biggest wishes was to actually enjoy cocktail hour, and thanks to their efficiency and organization, I was able to experience every moment of it. That meant so much to us. On top of everything else, they even set up a photo booth, which our guests absolutely loved.
The team was fun, professional, and a joy to be around all day. Communication was easy, Ronald was incredibly reliable, and we received our photos so quickly. Every single one looked beautiful, and the quality and attention to detail were outstanding.
If you are an engaged couple looking for a photographer who truly goes above and beyond, look no further. I would recommend Ronald and Octagon Photography to anyone without hesitation. They were an absolute dream to work with. -

Truly exceptional
Ronald was the most perfect photographer to have for our wedding. He was flexible and worked with us every step of the way. His photos were high quality and fairly priced. He had high energy and posed us in great photos. We were comfortable working with him, and it made the experience that much better. We received our 1000+ edited photos very quickly as well. Please use octagon photography as your next photographer, we promise you won't be disappointed! -

Exceptional!
Ron has been wonderful to work with! We have been in touch via text for the last two months regarding details for our photos and he’s always quick to respond. Our wedding was two days before a Christmas during an intensely cold day but Ron showed up on time and was able to take photos of us outdoors to capture the Manhattan skyline. Although we were freezing, the photos were well worth it! They were gorgeous! Ron was enthusiastic, energetic and thorough throughout our reception. He captured all our special moments between my husband and made sure to include our families from staged to candid photos. We also received our photos so quickly and the quality of the photos were beautiful. I highly recommend Octagon! We will be using Octagon for all our future events! -

Octagon Photography was recommended to us through another vendor we were working with shortly after we got engaged. So we checked out their work (it was awesome to learn that they photographed weddings of other people we knew, too!), loved what we saw and decided to meet with the owner, Ron Solosa. From the moment we first spoke with Ron we quickly saw how friendly, kind and flexible he was. We had questions, photo and style suggestions and he was all for it. We knew he would be the right person to photograph our wedding. He also offers photobooth services, O-Some Photobooth which we booked also!
Fast forward, we booked our engagement shoot in January (in NJ), but because of the snow, we had to reschedule and Ron was very flexible and easy to work with. After mother nature calmed down, we nailed down a date for our engagement shoot (February now). It was a super cold and windy day, but Ron had this magic that made us feel so comfortable and made us feel like models for a day, and the experience so fun the entire shoot. Ron went above and beyond for us, and the photographs came out AMAZING!
Ron's team: We met Ray Tomaro, Ron's right-hand man on our wedding day (July). He was also such a pleasure to work with. Always had a smile on his face and always at the ready to make sure we got the perfect shots. We really connected with Ray! Rutherford Evasco - He managed the O-Some Photobooth at our wedding - our guests had so much fun with the photobooth! The pictures speak for themselves!
After our wedding had passed, Ron surprised and presented us with all of our photos in such a beautiful way. Again, Octagon Photography has made this entire experience for us just amazing. They love what they do and it REALLY shows in person and in their work. You will not be disappointed with this team! We highly recommend! -

We came across Ron & his team through various weddings they photographed, including my sister in October 2019. From the moment we saw their work we instantly knew Octagon was the way to go. Octagon Photography, especially Ron, are amazing. We had the unfortunate luck (like many) of having our wedding booked at the height of the COVID pandemic. Ron was kind enough to split the hours between the ceremony and the reception, the reception which we rescheduled to a year later, at no cost. His work speaks for itself! Our photos came out beautifully. Highly recommend! -

Sailor moon engagement photoshoot
From the moment I met Ronald, I knew he was the one photographer we had to choose for our engagement shoot and wedding X 2! Besides the fact that he is very down to earth, kind, and professional, he also shows how unique everyone is eventhough he met tons of couples in the past. For example, he knew I love Sailor Moon so for our engagement photoshoot, we did a Sailor Moon theme. My husband and I dressed up our part and shot in costumes and wigs! You don't see that everyday. But he knew it was perfect for us just like we knew he was the one we'd choose! -

I met Ron at a friends wedding 2 years ago and loved his work. Ron did our engagement shooting and made It fun and stress free. Our wedding was rescheduled from May 31st to September 18 th due to COVID and Ron worked with me making the entire process easy. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and fun, I’m so glad I kept the wedding reception and had Octagon Photography ( Ron and Ray) there to capture our special day. Ron has shared some highlights of the wedding and they are all absolutely beautiful, and I can’t wait to see the full portfolio. Octagon photography were very easy to work with, very flexible with our schedules. The day of our wedding everything was flawless and went so smoothly. They did a fantastic job, we would highly recommend them. When we received our photos and videos we were absolutely amazed how wonderful they came out. Everyone who watched the videos were blown away with the professional quality. People commented to me that they felt like they were watching a movie trailer in a theater. The best of the best
We had the please to work with Ron for our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos! We met Ron through our DJ and instantly loved his photos! Ron is very personable and easy to talk with and work with and feels more like a friend! He knows his stuff, where to go for photos, how to pose in photos and what he wants out of the photo! He makes it fun and makes sure to get every shot he can! He goes above and beyond to make you feel special, makes you feel comfortable and he truly cares! Ron made sure to capture every moment of my wedding, every angle, and every detail! His photographs are high quality and I am beyond pleased with everything Ron has done for us! We found Ron (Octagon Photography) through our DJ. He shot our engagement shoot and we knew within the first 10 minutes that we were going to have him shoot our wedding. Ron’s knowledge, professionalism and friendliness made me and my husband so comfortable in making our decision to choose him for one of the most important days of my life. Our wedding was August 25, 2019 and we seriously had the best photographer in Ron. He was amazing to work with, so fun and put up with the craziness/wildness that was happening at the reception. He is so had working and took over 4000 pictures, all beautiful might I add, and he had them edited to us within the month. I highly recommend using Octagon Photography. I know that I will 100% be using them again. The beautiful pictures captured how special the day was.

We had Octagon Photography to take our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn't be happier. Ron was our main photographer. He met up with us twice to shoot our engagement photos, one in October and one in April and we ended using two photos, one from each season for our wedding. The photos are very beautiful and we had a tough time choosing which one to use.
Ron is very friendly, detail-oriented, and he always goes further to make his clients happy. His shots are focused, oriented, and beautiful. He knows how to use a camera to bring his vision to life. Ron and Ray helped us capturing every moment on our wedding day. They really made sure that we have ALL the shots and angles; and at the same time, they were very accommodating. They were always happy to take our requests and also from our guests. I really felt like they went beyond for us on our special day.
In addition, we also used their photobooth. They have a lot of funny props, much more than any other photobooths I have seen. The photobooth was very fun, enjoyable, and memorable. The guests loved it.

We are so grateful to have been referred to Octagon photography for our wedding needs. Ronald and Ray were professional, yet friendly! My bridal party was so comfortable around them and my now husband expressed the same sentiments with his groom party. They were timely and dedicated to obtaining the best photos! They were with us throughout the entire ceremony and reception, even capturing moments in between. They even gave great suggestions on angles and poses that they knew would make for gorgeous shots! So far, the photo highlights are beautiful! The high quality pictures and moments they were able to capture really sums up our once-in-a-lifetime night! We can’t wait to view the rest! -

Could not be happier!
Ron was our wedding photographer in 2017 as well as did a maternity session for us recently. We couldn't be happier working with Ron and with how our pictures came out. He is very flexible, patient, and makes us feel comfortable. He's great at giving direction and making sure he gets the perfect shot. Both times we got our pictures back very quickly and SO many pictures! With other photographers the number of pictures you get back can be limited, but Ron edits and sends you tons of pics to choose from! You won't be disappointed working with Ron. He is a great guy and very professional. -
