Perfect Venue in San Juan
We have been going to Oceano for years and when it was time for our wedding it was a no brainer! In fact we were having drinks at the Oceano bar, enjoying the ocean breeze and admiring the professionalism of the staff and decided that was the place for us. They always made us feel welcomed and that is what they did with out guest. The Event Manager, Juan Carlos Aponte was a delight to work with. Professional yet well versed in what his venue could offer us yet extremely personable to make us feel as if we were working with a friend. My mom uses a walker to walk and the staff could not have been more accommodating to the point she couldn't stop talking about how great they were with her. Norberto, Angel A, Josue and Givanni were members of the Oceano staff that made sure all of use had the best service. We chose white glove service for the sit down dinner and we felt as if we were at the best venue on the island with the attention to detail that this gentleman provided us. We want to go back and do it again!!! Thanks again to Juan Carlos and his staff at Oceano for giving us an event to remember and to be talked about for a very long time by us and our guests! -

Planning a 40-50 person wedding in San Juan is not easy if you're on a budget, but Oceano fit all of our needs. We started out looking at the hotels but felt the minium consumption was over the top for what you get. Oceano offered a spectacular view, privacy, and amazing food at a fair price. Negotiations and changes to our contract were all handled by Juan Carlos with the utmost professionalism. We were blown away by the tasting and on the wedding day, our guests raved about the food. The bartenders were on point with fast personal service. We had the pork carving station at our cocktail hour on the 3rd floor and the guests seriously would not stop talking about how delicious the pasta was. My husband's 85-year-old Abuela said the pork was on point, and she's a tough critic! With our 39 guests, Oceano's 2nd floor provided plenty of room for dancing and partying and we were not disturbed by any patrons and music volume was never an issue. Even if we'd had all our 50 guests RSVP I don't think it would have been too tight. The DJ was able to have music on both the 2nd and 3rd floors simultaneously.
Do yourself a favor and have the white glove service! The staff at Oceano were so professional, none of my guests realized it was a buffet. The service was phenomenal. No guests waiting in lines or fumbling and spilling dinner on their dresses!
Thank you so much Juan Carlos! We really had the best night ever dancing and partying all night with our family! -

Oceano hosted our rehearsal dinner in December of 2019. We had about 80 guests and the dinner was held on the second floor of the restaurant. They ended up opening up the roof for us as well, which was very helpful, as the second floor alone as a little crowded with 80 guests. The view from the roof is amazing, even at night. They severed several appetizers/ouer d'oeuvres and had a pasta and pork carving station for dinner. All of the food was delicious. They also provided a microphone and speaker for our toasts (we had a little bit of trouble with the speaker, which cut out a few times). Overall, it was an amazing event and we would highly recommend Oceano. -

We have our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here and WOW! The food and price was incredible. Absolutely stunning restaurant right on the beach. Highly recommend, can not wait to come back! -

I’m going to open with this: the staff at Oceano absolutely exceeded our expectations and curated the most magical wedding night ever. My husband and I tied the knot with 18 guests up in the Moon Lounge. Juan Carlos was the main point of contact from beginning to end and he was extremely helpful by answering questions, taking payments, and confirming details with me via email. When my then fiancé and I landed in Puerto Rico, we had plans to meet with Juan Carlos at the venue to go over things. However, something came up and he wasn’t able to come, but Heidy stepped in for him and she was an absolute dream. She answered all last minute questions, approved a very last minute change to the DJ, and was so welcoming and kind. She was such a treat to work with and even stopped by to congratulate us the evening of our wedding. I was under the impression that I personally (along with some family and friends) would have to set up the venue with my DIY decorations. I was wrong! The team handled my decorations for me and put everything together better than I could’ve ever imagined. Fast forward to our ceremony- my jaw dropped when I walked into the venue. The dinner tables were set up flawlessly, all of my flowers and garland and signage was exactly as I wanted it, and chairs were set up on the balcony for the ceremony. It was just perfect. The wait staff quickly removed the chairs after the ceremony so there was room to mingle and dance. We opted for a four hour premium open bar, which started about 30 minutes before dinner. For dinner, we had a pork station with pasta and the food was PHENOMENAL! The spiced rum glaze was mouth watering. We also opted for guayaba cheesecake instead of a traditional wedding cake and were not disappointed. All of the wait staff were incredible, but I want to give a special shout out to Felix. He went absolutely above and beyond and every single guest had something great to say about him. He kept me hydrated amidst all the rum and other alcohol and general craziness of the evening. They all worked tirelessly to make every guest comfortable all night. It was such a dream. My husband and I can’t say enough amazing things about the staff at Oceano. They made our day a dream come true. The view also cannot be beat. Thank you all for making our wedding so incredible! -

Oceano was the perfect venue for my wedding! Their venue sits right on the beach and has floor to ceiling windows with ocean views, it's in the perfect area for guest (Condado) just about 15 mins from the airport and 10 mins from old San Juan. Their food and drinks are amazing and definitely played a big role in us selecting Oceano as our wedding venue. Aside from being a beautiful venue with excellent food and drink options, their services and support were extremely professional. Juan Carlos their event sales manager, was absolutely lovely. He was on top of our communications (very responsive), answered every possible question, made sure that our contract was regularly updated with changes, he even helped when it came to us selecting a DJ. Juan Carlos was always very professional and warm while we worked together, it makes a huge impact to have a venue with staff that are kind, respectful and eager to help make your day special. Oceano was perfect but even more perfect was my experience with Juan Carlos and his colleagues. Thank you so much! -

We hired Oceano as the venue for our small intimate wedding after searching various places. The experience was amazing!!! All of the aspects of this place were impeccable. The set up (for the ceremony as well as at the Las Brisas Salon), the food (for which we receive a lot of compliments) and the fire star service. Thanks to Juan Carlos and all of the Team for making this day so special!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone. -

Juan Carlos is the MAN
Guys if you are looking for great views, amazing food, and 5 star service, Oceano is the place for you. I had my wedding and reception here and it was nothing less than stellar. We were able to reserve the second and third floors with around the clock service for our wedding guests. The views, did I mention the VIEWS! In my personal opinion this is the best place to have any type of function. The communication was great and clear. IF we can do it all over again, we will choose Oceano again. -

I had my destination wedding on the third floor, moon lounge. The place is so chic. The view is fantastic! The staffs are so friendly and helpful, and they helped a lot when I was trying to decide the venue. The food is one of the best that I tried in san juan! Definitely recommend to come here to have your wedding! -

Where do I start....we chose this venue based on the food we ate for brunch on a visit to PR. Juan Carlos is so great to work with. From the very beginning he answered all of my questions and provided me with additional support whenever i needed it. The venue itself is GORGEOUS!! We didn't need much decor because the ambiance is perfect! The food was delicious, everyone raved about the Puerto Rican pork and pasta. The open bar was good, bartenders was fun and kept the drinks flowing. My favorite thing about this venue besides the food may have been the house DJ. He kept the dance floor packed and I liked how he also could be seen dancing to the music. I absolutely LOVE Oceano, and if I could so it all over again I would. Absolute best venue! -

We had a small destination wedding with only 8 guests. We used the Moon Lounge (top floor) for both our ceremony and reception. It comfortably fit a large arch, tables arranged family-style, a round wedding cake table, and there was still a bit of room for dancing. We chose a plated four-course dinner and open bar. I have milk and egg allergies, and they were able to easily accommodate. The restaurant itself is beautiful with a panoramic view to the beach, allowing fantastic pictures to be captured. Ariana Cotto and her team were very helpful and did a fantastic job the day of the event. We highly recommend this venue. -

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception here and everything went as planned. The food was delicious and a hit with our guest. We started planning and communicating with our planners a year in advance and they made sure to answer all of our questions in a timely fashion despite the hurricane. The DJ was great and kept the dance floor packed. The staff were attentive to our needs during the reception and kept our glasses full without having to ask. Thank for making our day Special! -

Myrna Sent on 09/03/2018This venue is beautiful, everybody was so impressed with the views and how nice and modern it was. Juan Carlos was amazing during the whole process. When I got there on my wedding day, I had to wait a little bit downstairs and he brought me a mojito to relax. The staff was so friendly and the service in the event night was amazing. The staff was always checking with us to see if we needed anything. They recommended us a DJ and the DJ was pretty good too, he did everything we asked for. Highly recommended for small weddings.

We had a destination wedding and chose the venue site unseen, all based on the reviews and photos I found on Wedding Wire and other sites. Juan Carlos was very helpful in explaining all the options and menus. He emailed me the floor plan and explain the set up down to the chairs. The day of the wedding, everything ran smoothly and the staff were professional and attentive, my glass was never empty. Our guest raved about the food, it was delicious. They also recommended and provided the DJ, Joaquin, he was amazing. They made our wedding day very special.
