The best day of our lives took place at Ocean Weddings!
Our wedding at Ocean Weddings/Ocean Events was a wonderfully seamless, beautifully organized, and entirely magical experience that we would love to relive again and again. Michelle C., our wedding planner, is an expert day-of coordinator and fantastic person who made all of our dreams of a bicultural, bilingual, and extremely untraditional wedding come true. Bertha C., the venue director, is a kind and enthusiastic leader who oversaw our wedding planning and kept our spirits up after our first wedding planner ghosted us (which Bertha handled very well and which ultimately had no effect on the quality of our wedding). The location of Ocean Weddings is unbeatable, elegantly situated on the edge of the sea without being in the sand. The infrastructure is incredible, with a large "getting-ready" suite on-site, a clean pool, a gorgeous tent, a well-manicured lawn, and a quaint palapa. The catering (provided by ICAZA) was reviewed by our guests as the best food they'd ever eaten at a wedding. The waitstaff and bartenders went above-and-beyond in their courtesy and attention to our guests. The on-site audio equipment and audio team (Gustavo and the Ocean Weddings MC) were top-notch, keeping the guests engaged and dancing from sundown to midnight. The decorations, lighting, flowers, and furniture were stunning and customized to our unique tastes. And the total cost was about half that of a U.S. wedding, but for double the time, triple the quality, and quadruple the fun for our 100 guests and ourselves. In short, we highly recommend Ocean Weddings to anyone looking to get married in Cancun. After all, why settle for a short and cookie-cutter wedding at a hotel when Ocean Weddings can make your dreams come true instead? Thank you so much, Michelle, Bertha, and the Ocean Weddings team!

Perfect venue!
I got married at Ocean Weddings and it was the perfect day! The venue is simply beautiful, the wait staff is amazing and the food is delicious! I live in NYC and had to plan everything from a distance, but Mariana was my wedding coordinator and she made the whole process easy. She was very attentive and extremely helpful, I cannot thank her enough for the beautiful wedding that she organized! Everything was better than I expected! Due to COVID19 I had to postpone the wedding and the venue was super accommodating. I would recommend the venue and Mariana to anyone planning a wedding at Cancún, they're the best!

Through a year of planning between Iowa and Cancun, our wedding was everything I could have dreamt of. Stop looking elsewhere, this is your venue!
Seriously when my husband and I reminisce about our wedding day, we are truly blessed to say it was our dream wedding. Ocean Weddings, specificcally Bertha and her team, went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations. Our wedding was pushed back twice due to COVID and there were many moments where we should have been stressed but simply were not. Our minds were at ease knowing our wedding was in good hands. Although there was uncertainty that comes with planning a wedding during covid but also a DESTINATION wedding, Bertha and her team had a keen eye for detail and listened to every request we asked for. The FOOOOOOOOOOOD was incredible. Our guests loved it. The venue itself is beautiful and remote, much better than your average resort wedding. (those aren't as private as Oceans). Not to mention way more affordable and ALOT more bank for your buck. From the caterer, to the DJ, to the suite my bridal party got ready in, there was no stone left unturned.

They made our day so special.
I just want to thank Bertha and her team for making my wife and I vision come to fruition. Even the smallest details were taken care of and her team made us feel so special on our amazing day. The only thing that we didn’t like was that the day went by way too fast. We will never forget our day and how amazing it was.

Ocean events and my wedding planner made my wedding very smooth everything i ask for was delivered, it was a long distance process but every question was answer at whatever time of the day. I will never forget my wedding it was a dream, it was definitely the wedding of the year May 26,2022.

Bertha and her crew are beyond amazing. I found Ocean weddings out of frustration with an All-Inclusive hotel wedding. 52 days before my big day, i came across Bertha's 1-800 number to call directly from Miami to Mexico, and from then on, i knew this was where i wanted my wedding to be! Every one was dedicated to my big day as it was theres too. They didn't even feel like strangers, they felt like family. i felt super comfortable asking questions, advice, or anything. Bertha, was ALWAYS a call, text or email away from any of my questions, even though she was thousands of miles away. Every one was very helpful and giving. Before, during, and after the event, it was non stop great service and hospitality. I will recommend Bertha with Ocean Weddings to anyone and everyone ! They will exceed your expectations and more! If i can go back, i'd choose them all over again!

The Wedding of my dreams
If you want to enjoy yourself and for your guest to have a blast, pick this location. I’m the youngest of three daughters and one of the first things that my mom told me was that, she had never enjoyed one of her daughters weddings like mine. We didn’t have to worry about sitting down the guest accommodate people. Make sure they were served on time. No one was thirsty no one left hungry. I have to say that it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my wonderful wedding planner Monserrat Martinez. We started planning the wedding February 2018 the wedding date was October 19 2019. Monse worked with me Monday through SUNDAY!! Yes I even would message her Sunday’s at 10pm and she was never bothered, never tired of my recurrent questions. I have to say IT WAS EASY!! I had peace of mind between skypes, FaceTimes I got to pick the table covers the flowers. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! We sample our menu a year before the date and the day of the wedding the
Food was just as exquisite as the day we had our sample dinner. It has been 3 months after the wedding and we still get compliments about the venue the setting the food the drinks everything came out great! If you want a hassle free, beautiful wedding, don’t hesitate to pick this location and to request Monserrat as your wedding planner!!

Perfect experience with amazing staff!
We knew we wanted a beach wedding, but not much more than that. After doing some research, we knew we didn´t want to be tied down to a hotel, so we went with this vendor. It turned out to be the best decision. Mariana guided us through the entire process helping us each step. We had some peculiar demands including having a multilingual wedding and having our dog involved in it. Mariana and the rest of the staff was extremely accomodating. We were able to have a perfect event in no small part thanks to their support. I highly recommend this as a venue in order to make your special night magical. I know it was for us!

I came across Ocean Weddings after being scammed by a previous venue. The reviews caught my attention immediately, everyone was raving about Bertha and her team and they were right! Bertha was outstanding as was Mariana and Giovana. The venue was something out of a story book and Bertha and her team went above and beyond to meet all of our expectations. The food was beyond spectacular as was the service by the waiters and bartenders. I cannot thank Ocean Weddings for making our wedding a night to truly remember and for helping me enjoy the wedding process. I owe Bertha and her team a lifetime of gratitude for everything they did for me and my family to make my wedding night memorable.

It was exactly what I had in my head
I was waiting to write a review because I wanted to see the photos from Freddy Ku who was recommended to me by Bertha. From day one she was very responsive and informative about what should could offer. She asked for pictures of what I liked and put together that style for me to see when I came to visit. The venue is beautiful although a little distance from the hotel zone. Scheduling transportation to and from was probably the most challenging part because I had several guest who were staying at different resorts. Bertha helped the whole way. I'm surprised she didn't yell at me from changing my mind or giving up on an idea because plans changed. I had guest cancel and then guest decide to come last minute. I found talking to her on the phone easier than texting. I forgot my garder and she found one for me the day before the wedding. I highly recommend this venue and Bertha's team.

Unforgettable Destination Wedding
Originally we were looking at having our wedding at resort. However, after inconsistent service with the resort's Wedding dept. we decided to look elsewhere. We used Wedding Wire to find a private venue in Cancun, Mexico and we came across Ocean Weddings. This venue had high reviews. By no question, the reviews provided for this venue is by no means an understatement. Ocean Weddings venue is breathtaking. But to add to this, their service is exceptional especially for a stressful event like a wedding. The staff by far provided the best customer service. The staff especially Bertha really took the time to make sure everything went smoothly before, during and after the wedding. We had a few incidents in which we forget a few items and Bertha went above and beyond to getting those items somehow for us. For example, a religious item in which she sent one of her employees to purchase at a local church for us. Also, we ran out of alcohol and again she found a way to get more for us. We forgot a few items at the venue, yet Bertha went personally and dropped them off at our resort the next day. Bertha and her staff always ensured us not stress over anything, since they had everything in lined (and they sure did!). Everything went smoothly and our guest enjoyed every bit of it, especially the venue/location. The view is spectacular but most importantly the staff made it more welcoming and memorable. We will definitely miss talking to the staff but I'm sure we will keep in touch somehow. Thank you Ocean Weddings for making our destination wedding UNFORGETTABLE!!!!

We got married in April of 2018 at Ocean Weddings and had an abolautely wonderful experience! Words can’t describe how amazing our entire wedding experience was. Il 30° anniversario di matrimonio è un’occasione veramente particolare da festeggiare insieme alle persone più care. Cercavamo quindi una location romantica e vicina ai colori che tanto amiamo: i colori del mar dei Caraibi. E del cielo del Messico.
Passeggiando abbiamo visto Ocean events e più per curiosità che per convinzione, tornati a casa abbiamo scritto una mail per chiedere informazioni. Ci è stato risposto immediatamente e, visto che viviamo relativamente vicini, abbiamo preferito un appuntamento per parlare un po’ di quello che desideravamo fare e soprattutto ascoltare le proposte che ci venivano fatte.
Naturalmente ci siamo innamorati subito della location. Impossibile non amare un posto del genere!
Inutile dire che Bertha è all’altezza del suo lavoro. Trasmette tranquillità ed è molto preparata. Sa suggerire soluzioni ottime per qualsiasi richiesta o problema.
La stessa cosa dobbiamo dire delle persone che lavorano con lei e cioè del la sua assistente, del servizio catering, della fiorista che ha reso davvero prezioso l’ambiente con gli addobbi floreali accontentando le nostre richieste, la parrucchiera che ha saputo creare un’acconciatura che è piaciuta tantissimo, gli incaricati del video.
Un grazie particolare va senz’altro anche alla “ministra” che con le sue parole in italiano ed in spagnolo ha saputo rendere unica, intima e romantica la nostra cerimonia.
E’ stato importante incontrare tutte queste persone prima dell’evento. Sia per conoscersi sia per poter definire i particolari e non lasciare nulla al caso.
Desideravamo fosse un giorno emozionante.
Lo è stato per noi e siamo certi lo sia stato anche per i nostri amici.
