    Great experience

    Jackie was great to work with, the venue and our planner both recommended her. We rented a tent, lighting, chandeliers, and dance floor Ocean Breeze. We rented a clear tent which turned out to be brand new never used so it was beautiful and clear watching the sunset through it was amazing! Our venue also gets all the tables, chair and linens from Jackie which we loved all the options to choose from. Jackie was so nice in making sure the tent was properly lit and they came the night before to set up the tent. 10/10 recommend!

    Loved working with Jackie!

    We loved working with Jackie! Everything was absolutely beautiful. She had so many amazing options to choose from. Ocean Breeze party rentals is so easy to work with and so organized. They made the wedding day easy. I highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed. We are so happy with them and their delivery team was excellent!

    More than Just Rentals!

    Jackie and her team did a great job with the rentals for our wedding! The set up was absolutely gorgeous and Jackie used her creativity with deciding where tables, chairs, lanterns and the arbor should be placed on the day of the wedding. Jackie’s idea for the table setting matched my style perfect. The white linen and burlap runner with palm leaves, lantern and tea lights was beautiful. I picked the pink napkin for some color and then worked with our florist, Flowers by J&J (who was absolutely amazing and would recommend 100% times a million!!!!) to add a couple springs of stem orchids and mini orchids for additional color for the guest tables. Jackie added a “Mr and Mrs” sign to our bride and groom table which was really cute and unexpected. Jackie set up the lanterns as an isle way for the ceremony at the pier which looked so beautiful along with the flower pods I asked for from Flowers by J&J.

    I also choose Jackie as my wedding coordinator and I will say that she is great to have on your side. Any time I had concerns or stressors, she was able to address them with no problem. She contacted us the week of the wedding as the weather was not looking promising so we discussed Plan B and Plan C options. She coordinated with our caterer (The Key Colony Inn...yes, this fabulous restaurant is able to cater your event!!!!!) to discuss having the event indoors, if necessary, and also arranged for a tent for outdoors as another option. This woman is all business and she will be sure everyone knows what they need to do. I did wish Jackie would have kept me more on schedule with our timeline of events on the actual wedding day, but this was minor. The hair & makeup folks had us running very behind schedule due to some issues with their airbrush machine and we got a little carried away with pictures and lost track of time (granted, we were having a blast with pictures though!)

    All in all, Jackie was definitely worth it and would absolutely, positively recommend for not just your rentals, but consider for wedding coordination as well (if she’ll accept the task). ;) Keep in mind that as just a rental company, Jackie can do more than one wedding a day, but with coordinating as well...she is giving up the entire day. I was lucky that she accepted the job for us!

    The Best ever

    Raul and Jackie are a great team. They help make our special day even more special. and there one helper is awesome as well, sorry I forgot his name ...They were on time and proficient at there job. and wanted to help us any way they could. and would definitely recommend them for any occasion...

    Ocean Breeze provide an excellent service!

    Jackie at Ocean Breeze was so very helpful in providing our wonderful arch and table for our 30th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal earlier this year - it was so very beautiful and absolutely perfect for the setting - just what we envisioned! It really helped complete our day and we are so glad they were able to accommodate us! Thank you again - highly recommended to all!

    Jackie came as a recommendation from our venue in Marathon for our wedding in February, and she delivered! She put so much heart and time into our wedding, I was completely astonished when the day came. In fact I had complete faith in Jackie, I gave her free reign with decorations and set up. She even added things that I hadn't even thought about which turned out amazing!! All of our friends and family told me that every detail was a reflection of us, they had no idea that we really didn't do any of it! Thank you Jackie and staff for such an amazing day!

    Jackie was great to work with!! We were coming in from North Carolina and due to the hurricane had to make changes to our order just a few weeks before the wedding. The wedding venue still had damage 3 months after the storm, and we had to move a meal inside vs. outside but everyone we worked with was incredible. Jackie was more than accommodating and even had some linens made for us! We also moved the reception to a different area on the property and we were concerned about having enough lighting since the storm had washed a lot of the landscaping away. She assured us that she would make it work, and she did! The pictures don't do it justice, but everything was just beautiful! She arrived on time and was back several times to make sure everything was as we wanted. She was helpful with the set up and did a quick pick up/clean up the day after the wedding. We could not be happier with her service... and she was very affordable. She was wonderful! Thank you Jackie!!

    Jackie and her team help me with my wedding she made sure everything was the way I wanted she gave me sugestiones on how to combine things in order to look perfect even though it was a Windy on that day she came with ideas that made it perfect she took care of everything for us !!,I have no words to describe how happy I was on that day I owed it all to Jackie I highly recommend her for weddings in the Florida Keys speciallyi if you are out of town she conects you with other vendors and make sure you are stress free on your wedding day

    Jackie is the best!!! She helped me so much with my wedding. She is very sweet, super efficient and very flexible. She did all the coordinations I needed in the keys without me having the need to go down there. And for the weeding day she also helped out with the organization and the coordination of the day. I definitely recommend her. Ah and if you need any of the services for the wedding in the keys she has all the contacts there.

    Ocean Breeze Party Rental made my entire wedding. In under a week's notice, they sprung into action to assist when I had to change my venue due to weather troubles. They supplied everything I needed, including going out of their way to obtain items they didn't have in stock. I am grateful for their professionalism and courtesy.     We recently hosted my sons wedding in Key Largo and I was referred to Ocean Breeze by another rental company in Miami. My experience with Jackie at Ocean Breeze was top notch. Jackie responded to all of my inquiries immediately and provided all of the information I needed. I found her to be very friendly and always assuring me that she would take care of things as we were planning this wedding from NH. When they arrived at the event site Ocean Breeze was nothing but professional and friendly. All of the rental items Ocean Breeze provided were like brand new. Jackie and her staff took care of our rental needs and I would not hesitate to recommend them for any event you may be planning.

    We rented a dance floor from them. They had the most affordable pricing and even went to my venue to determine if we needed a sub floor or not. The floor did end up being a little slanted but that's because of the ground and truly not a huge deal and it did save me a couple hundred bucks on a subfloor. Very happy i used them, Jackie was very responsive and helpful! ;) THANKS!

    Great service, with local flare and knowledge

    Working with Jackie was great. I live in London and planning a wedding from abroad is not easy. Jackie was always available to help and very accommodative. On such a special (and stressful at points) day, you want to work with suppliers that you can trust, this is what Ocean Breeze provides and a bit more.     Great and terrible. We used Jackie for Catering and Venue decorations over father's day weekend in Marathon for our wedding. This was a large and expensive event with a lot of vendors in place for this.
    Overall well priced, food was on par with the price point however they really need to invest in some better insulated food storage systems so that when cooking early for large numbers they can be sure the fod is fresh and still hot. The decorations/tables/chairs were beautiful and above what I could have pictured, no complaints there except that they need to be on time and well staffed when they finally arrive to get set up. I was a little insulted when they were running behind schedule and attempted to recruit my Dj and other people that had other duties to help them set up.
    Here is my biggest qualm with this company and the reason I would not recommend using them for the catering portion of their services (or hire your own servers for their food!)..... Jackie was clearly having a long busy day and was not in the best of moods when it finally came time to serve. I felt this was being rushed and words cannot describe the frustration and the level of insult that took place when Jackie told the sister of the bride that she "needed to be on a diet" while refusing to serve her a portion of the menu. There were several complains from my party attendance (all easy going low maintenance type people) that the catering staff seemed a bit rude. While this is a small family owned business they need to understand that they are the HELP here and they are getting PAID to do this. DO NOT come into someone's once in a lifetime wedding and put a damper on their day with your attitude. You are to be seen and not heard in this setting. Read my google profile reviews and you will see that I do not often post reviews and when I do they are only usually only good, I am not here to vent but rather to post an honest opinion.

    Thank you for your review. I appreciate your feedback and it has been taken under advisement for future events. Unfortunately, the catering services were through a third party company that did not provide servers for this discounted rate. I was able to contract a server last minute, and along with her, I stayed to help with the meal distribution. We agreed on serving dinner at 7, but with the hour delay on behalf of the guests, not all of the food was able to stay warm as we did not anticipate this delay and the food was set out for serving at the agreed meal time. There is always a level of flexibility when it comes to events, but without an appointed coordinator, I was stumped as to who to contact about this delay. I am glad that the table and chair arrangements were to your liking as I take pride in the setups and equipment that my company provides.

    Not Recommended

    My wife and I used Ocean Breeze for our wedding in 2019 and even though the end result was fantastic, we used A LOT more energy than necessary on the planning and setup and execution of our wedding directly related to what Ocean Breeze was responsible for. Jackie, the head lady recommended we hire a coordinator (her friend) who ended up not making it to our wedding due to a hurt ankle and did not pass on the necessary info to a girl who did come to our wedding in her place. It ended up being the new girl's first wedding and she wasn't aware of the plan, to the extent that my mother had to take care of the majority of the finer details during the setup process on the day of the wedding. Finally the setup was complete less than 30 minutes before the ceremony started because Jackie had to drive away to get forgotten items. Also Jackie didn't show for scheduled meetings to discuss our plans and during the setup of the tent no one spoke english. Overall, the entire process was incredibly frustrating and if it wasn't for my mother's endurance, the result wouldn't have been what we were imagining and what we had discussed. We will not be recommending Ocean Breeze to anyone.

    Terrible Experience with this Rental Company

    I hate to write bad reviews, but Jackie at Ocean Breeze really stressed us out on our weekend. She was terrible with communicating beforehand. I asked her for three weeks to get my final invoice over and she waited until I was at my rehearsal dinner to harass me for payment after she failed to do so. She delivered my rentals at the wrong time after delivering them to the wrong place, which I had tried to confirm several times, but she was too preoccupied to listen. I would not suggest anyone use her for rentals unless you want to be seriously agitated on your big day.

    Do not hire! Scammer & no show

    Do NOT hire this company! Jackie is a complete fraud! She was sort of nice at first and slowly her emails got snarky. I figured she was under a lot of stress so I didn’t push too hard on that. This was back in MARCH 2021. I placed a deposit and heard nothing back, I then requested some removal of items due to guest not being able to travel. Still heard nothing. Come the week of the event we had to call her numerous times to get a schedule and to makw sure she was actually getting our emails for an updated invoice and schedule. She said she’d be there the night before. She then said the morning of. Our event was at 5pm, we started calling her non stop starting from 3pm, the 1 time she did answer she said her guys were and she was so mad at them for not listening to her. She then blocked our numbers, we knew this because we called from different numbers once the one we were using when straight to voicemail. Thank god for the homeowner of the house we rented because he was able to get us a party set up within an hour. (Definitely recommend staying at the Palms Resort in sugarloaf) she was a No show and didn’t even have the decency to tell us she wasn’t coming just kept making up stupid excuses and then completely ignoring us. She then answers our 1 call the next morning fake crying, says she’s sorry and she’ll refund us fully along with what we spent due to her absence. It has now been 5 days and she continues to ignore our calls after she offered to Zelle the money. Which we all know is quite simple and done in seconds. Please save yourself the tears on your wedding day and do not hire this woman because she will not show up! It’s like she gets off on ruining special days because she had the nerve to make fun at and joke about how we drop so many guests the day before the wedding. If it wasn’t for the homeowner of the rental we stayed at, I wouldn’t of had the best party and now one of the best lawyers in the Keys.

Then, about four weeks before the event our son’s fiancée emailed us out of the blue that she had hired a party planner who highly suggested that she manage the rehearsal dinner as well, assuring her that the event would flow more smoothly and costs would be lower. The exact opposite is what actually happened. It was clear from the content of the email that a large part of the content had not been written by the bride-to-be. It seemed quite pushy on the part of the wedding planner to us, but we agreed to keep the peace. We didn’t need the help or the additional expense. We had the event well in hand and didn’t require the services of a wedding planner, but Lynn convinced the bride-to-be that she (Lynn) should be organizing both events-my guess is that this is her shtick-she manipulates nervous and busy brides and they readily agree, allowing Lynn, Jackie (Island Breeze Rentals) and the rest of their group of vendors to benefit financially.

    We had been communicating directly with our vendors (musician, caterer, bakery and rentals) for several weeks about the event. All quotes were finalized except for Ocean Breeze Rentals, who sent us a quote that was updated several times online as the event transformed. We were not aware until three weeks before the event that the owner of Ocean Breeze Rentals (Jackie Garcia) shares office space with D’Asigner Events (Lynn D’Ascanio). Additionally, at no time during our written or verbal communications that spanned several months were we told that a wedding planner discount was included in the pricing. In fact, I specifically told Jackie each of the multiple times she encouraged me to share rentals with the wedding, that the bride-to-be had insisted each time that she was using another rental company and that she didn’t want to share rentals. In fact, she wanted to have a completely different look and feel to her special day.

    Lynn insisted we sign a contract before it was clear exactly what her role would be and wouldn’t respond to emails or phone calls to clarify without a signed contract. She continually tried to upsell us and manipulate relationships in the family. When we hired Lynn, it was agreed verbally that we wouldn’t have to pay her 20% vendor fee for the music, rentals and caterer since we had already been working directly with all of them for several weeks. However, after the event and several disasters, we saw unexpected charges on our American Express bill. When we wrote to question the discrepancy (the fact that that we were charged for services previously agreed not to be charged, that Island Breeze charged us the exact same cost that we had originally been quoted-not 20% less as Lynn had promised in her contract due to her wedding planner discount), Lynn not only went back on her word, but also changed the online bill so it reflected her updated pricing and cc’d the new bride in her response along with several other vendors in a rude attempt to be a bully and control the outcome. While Lynn’s actions had already had a deleterious effect on family relationships, they deteriorated even further with this unnecessary manipulation.

    Defending herself Lynn told us that the original quote from Ocean Breeze included a wedding planner discount. Her explanation was that since she and Jackie share an office, Jackie shared the information with Lynn because she knew we would be working with her. How could that have been possible when this was long before we had ever heard of D’Asigner Events and there was nothing stating that on any of the quotes we received. In fact, Lynn created panic by calling the bride-to-be to tell her there were no rentals available in Marathon, because they had been rented by someone else, insinuating that I had reserved rentals for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding even though I had agreed not to do so (and which of course I hadn’t done).

    Lynn insisted we hire the same florist she was using for the wedding and then without our knowledge or asking our permission, our flowers were reused for the wedding. No discount offered. She charged her 20% fee, but didn’t do anything for it and in fact, when we asked for the flowers the morning after the wedding, we were told the florist had taken them back. We were talked into a shuttle service that was totally unnecessary and had to be paid in cash. I asked multiple times for contact information so that I could confirm details, but Lynn refused to allow me to communicate with the shuttle company and insisted that she would manage it, which she didn’t, resulting in some guests waiting over ONE hour for the shuttle and completely missing the cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres at the rehearsal dinner. Many chose to call taxis or Uber at their own expense to get back and forth (there was limited parking at the estate that was rented for the week.). This resulted in the dinner being delayed, which caused the chef/caterer to charge us overtime fees and add on a travel charge. Lynn came to me telling she had negotiated with the caterer so he wouldn’t charge extra, but after the event the caterer said no such conversation took place and that he didn’t work for Lynn.

    The rental company agreed to provide “crab crackers” to open the crab legs and it was on the quote, but has since been removed online to cover up that they didn’t bring them. This caused fancily dressed guests to roll up sleeves and struggle to eat their meals.

    While Lynn is quite charming, she is very disorganized and has a penchant for placing blame on others and upselling at every opportunity. We paid a couple thousand dollars more than we should have, including the 20% fee she added for the florist and for the rentals, which she bumped up considerably by adding increasingly more items for us to rent. The $800 cash we paid for the disastrous shuttles was unnecessary. Most guests didn’t use them. Overall, many guests were disappointed and stressed by having missed out on the first hour of the rehearsal and the bridal couple was involved in communications that should have remained between us, causing unnecessary stress all around.

    If you decide to work with any of these companies, you may want to consider the following:

    1. Be sure to print and save a copy of all web documents as they are sent to you so you have a clear paper trail that they cannot easily manipulate and erase.
    2. Do not be wooed by charm and friendly promises. Trust only what is agreed to ahead of time and written on paper with a signature.
    3. Think through all choices and don’t get persuaded to choose the more expensive options. Guests can easily Uber rather than hiring an expensive van service that is undependable and limits their options.
    4. Do not pay anything in cash and insist on having communication with all vendors.

    I m responding to this review to the person that wrote this, that Ocean Breeze Party Rental is a professional company that will not benefit from not sending an item requested by a customer, It is the customers or person in charge responsibility to make sure that all items requested by them are written in the Rental Contract or invoice , it is our policy to send a quote first for revision , the customers must know the items that they need. The Bride and Groom of this wedding were very satisfied with the way that we handled their rentals and everything was perfect all the items were on site as requested.
