Talk about a dream. David was truly the most incredible officiant I have ever met. He went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our planning and rehearsal seamless and easy. He was always available for questions, prompt and timely each and every time we met, and I truly felt like David did everything he could to get to know us as people in the time before we were married. His intimate approach, made for such a special ceremony, and I cannot describe in words how truly magical he was. Our guests and wedding party raved about how he was so down to earth, but brought such an incredible sense of love into our ceremony. It is without a doubt that he was one of the most important parts of our special day, and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant!!

David helped us make sure that our destination wedding in Puerto Rico was made official :) This is a first marriage for myself and my husband, so we didn't have a clue what to do in the marriage licence application process, much less how to do it in puerto rico! David was very prompt in emails and answering our questions, as well as making sure that we had all of the right documents prepared for our visit to the Demographics Office. We felt like we were in great hands with David submitting our paperwork for us, and I would highly recommend him to anyone that is choosing to get married in PR via destination wedding.

What's not to like about David? He is funny, caring, and experienced. I think everyone liked his presentation at our ceremony. He made himself available for us prior to the wedding. And he guided us through the process to become legally married in Puerto Rico. If you are planning a destination wedding, David navigates through the procedures and paperwork very well.

David is the BEST!!! Funny, charming, caring, all we need it to make our ceremony dreams come true. Also, he is a minister, and made us feel the importance of marriage, in not a religious way. There is a lot of officiants out there that got ordained online, but David is the real deal!! No wonder TLC requested him to do the "Say Yes To The Dress" show recording in Puerto Rico. Love you David!!!!

We contracted David during our visit in March 2016 for our destination wedding in September 2016. During our initial meeting, David sat down with us and got to know us and what we wanted. He provided us with different ceremony options we could include for our special day. He was available throughout the planning process and meet with us again prior to our rehearsal to confirm the program. He was very professional and personable. We felt like we had known him for years. He was very prompt in delivering our signed marriage license to the demographics office for processing. We received our marriage certificate within two weeks.

BOOK HIM, everything was so easy. I pick about officiant at first and he told me to basically google everything. David basically made is VERY easy, even picked up us and took us to the demographic office for the paperwork. We could find a lawyer to do the affidavit in our state so he took us to one there in PR for $40. Then took us to a beautiful beach and perform our wedding. He even gave us a booklet and took us back to the airport so we can go to our honeymoon. TRUST ME. BOOK HIM. You will not be disappointed. Nothing is worst then being in another country and lost he was everything! Most importantly HE IS A MAN OF GOD! Thank You David from the bottom of our hearts!

Working with Minister David was truly such an easy, welcoming and positive experience. When I first contacted him he was so nice through the phone and text that I immediately gravitated towards him and chose him as my minister for the wedding. Once we met in person he was extremely kind, funny, new both English and Spanish, new all the steps that had to be taken to get married in Puerto Rico. He truly guided us through every step of the way and it was so easy. Once the wedding came he followed everything we discussed and made the ceremony not only memorable for us but for our guest and family as well. I am so humbled by his services but also to have gained a friend. You will definitly not go wrong with choosing minister David. Thank you so much for everything!

When I proposed to my girlfriend last Christmas, my only requirement for our wedding, was for me to be barefoot, and on a beach. We discussed multiple locations, and decided we wanted to go back to Puerto Rico. We both have ties there, family, and love the island. When we started searching for a Minister, and discovered www.weddingwire.com. This is where we found David Mariani.

David quickly became not only our choice to marry us, but a friend as well. His knowledge as to what we needed to do, have done, and have with us when we arrived in Puerto Rico, showed many years of experience, knowledge, willingness to help, and a great desire to see everything we were looking for, be not only a success, but everything we dreamt of.

David was amazing from the first phone call. He guided us with all the requirements, paperwork we would need, letters, and obtaining our licence once we arrived. He helped us find our location for the wedding ceremony, gave us a phenomenal ideas as to where we, and all our guests went for dinner after the ceremony, and answered all of our questions, no matter how important, or silly they seemed.

It really was a dream come true...

David truly cares about the client, and their success into the future. He is an amazing man, friend, man of God, and professional, that I would recommend to everyone that is seeking a wonderful experience in marriage. His smile melts away any worries, and gives you the security knowing that you are in the best hands possible. The Conch was the best bonus!!

This review is embarrassingly overdue, but I cannot offer a higher recommendation of David Mariani as an officiant. He was so warm and friendly from the moment we met that he felt like an old friend. Planning with David was also very easy. He was very responsive to requests and scheduling prep meetings. The price is also very reasonable. Most importantly, he performed an amazing ceremony. He was incredibly charismatic and engaging, sharing a story about his own marriage, and ad-libbing sweet and funny remarks throughout. Several of our guests commented on how great he was, and we were so pleased with how it all went off.

David was simply awesome from start to finish. My wife and I hosted our wedding at a hotel resort in San Juan. We were initially unsure what kind of ceremony and officiant we wanted, but we knew we definitely needed a natively bilingual one to be able to address both the English and Spanish speaking sides of our families. We were referred to David by one of his colleagues and he was great from the start. He reserved our wedding date on his calendar immediately (and even postponed going on a family vacation in order to officiate at our wedding). As the wedding date approached, we had a long phone call with him so that he could get to know us, and then when we finally got to Puerto Rico we had an in-person meeting where he really made the effort to get our backstory. He also attended our rehearsal the night prior to the wedding. The ceremony itself was beautiful -- David provides an array of customizable options to make it as short or as long, as simple or complicated, and as religious or secular as you want. He was excellent with both of our families and really funny and light-hearted. In addition, David has contacts for anything you may need from wedding planners to wedding dress tailors right on the island. If you are thinking of getting married in PR and you're not quite sure where to start, David should be the first call you make!

David was AMAZING! Very patient and took the time to meet with us. He was highly organized and provided everything we needed for the ceremony. He was quick to respond both by email and to return calls, he met us at the marriage offices in Old San Juan, he helped us narrow down what we wanted said during the ceremony and for the vows, he included our parents in a very nice manner, he was simply amazing and I highly recommend him! We had such a mixture of backgrounds at our wedding, from devout Christians and Catholics to Muslims and aethiests, he made everyone feel comfortable. He is great!

His knowledge of the process of getting a marriage license in Puerto Rico is invaluable and made everything easy and stress-free. David initially went to the top of our list based on his extremely attentive, informative, and helpful nature when we called numerous officiants in Puerto Rico looking for a good fit, many months before our wedding. Then once we got to Puerto Rico for our destination wedding, he and his wife made us feel like family from the first minute we got there. They both helped immensely and my husband and I can't say enough great things about their amazing help and guidance. We are so grateful to have such a seamless experience for a destination wedding (we did everything through the internet and had some nervousness going into an unfamiliar place). We continue to commend the service level, kindness, and true blessing it was to connect with David as our wedding officiant (and his amazing wife as well)! From the first phone call to the wedding day and even until now... I felt as if I was interacting with a long time friend. David is easy to talk to and discuss details of your life and wedding with. I happened to be a very detailed oriented bride, I needed to be. The wedding ceremony was a second wedding for both of us and we both had children from previous relationships. So I didn't want the ceremony to be all about us but to have special touches including the children. David is very laid back and does not stress you out or pressure you. He seems to be able to just go with the flow... "It's your day so it's whatever you want." David believes deeply that God should be present in a marriage (a belief I share) however if that is not your belief he respects your wishes. I'm so happy he was my wedding officiant.

David was the officiant for our ceremony in December. We had a rehearsal the day before our wedding where he explained the wedding party what to expect and the proceedings of the ceremony. Once the big day arrived, everything went as planned and David guided the whole ceremony without any effort. After we received our wedding certificate, we noticed that a name was misspelled. We informed David and he took care of correcting it with the local office in Puerto Rico personally. Very happy to have such a great officiant and person as our contact in Puerto Rico. We highly recommend him and his company to anyone in need of an officiant and a wedding planning company.

David was so fantastic as a minister and we couldn't have asked for anyone more suiting. We had an issue with our marriage certificate and David personally went to the vitals office and fixed it for us, Meanwhile he was keeping us in the loop the whole time. David was responsive to our emails and was more than happy to answer any questions we had concerning what we needed for the wedding ceremony. When we first got to Puerto Rico he drove us to where we needed to go to get our marriage documents so we wouldn't get lost. He even showed us around Old San Juan; since we are from Texas. David was absolutely amazing. We had our destination wedding in Puerto Rico and he drove us everywhere we needed to go. He was very involved and always kept a close ion us to make sure that everything was going well. He was so nice and spoke beautifully at the ceremony. He blew into a conch at the end of the ceremony that got everybody riled up and excited. Everyone commented on Great he was. He spoke English great and Spanish. I couldn't have asked for a better officiant.

The officiant wasn't a top priority on our list of wedding vendors. Neither me nor my husband is super religious and we were wanting just a non denominational officiant. We were given Davids name by our wedding planner. We had one conversation with David and immediately felt comfortable with him. He was nice and funny and had great ideas on the ceremony. He came out the night before the ceremony even though we weren't doing a formal rehearsal just so he could meet us in person. During the wedding he injected the perfect amount of humor into the perfect spots to keep the mood light! We couldn't have been happier with the decision to use David.

Pastor David Mariani was amazing!!!! Our wedding officiant cancelled on us less than a week before our wedding and I'm glad he did because David was able to fill in and he was wonderful! He was perfect for our intimate beach wedding! Very personable and laid back! LOVED HIM!!!

Minister David is Amazing! He was referred to us by our wedding planner at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel. He played an integral role in ensuring that our wedding ceremony was one we will always remember!! From our very first communication via email, Minister David was inviting and professional. He sent us information that would later be helpful in planning the flow of our ceremony - just the way we wanted. We enjoyed sharing our love story with him and were impressed with how he wove elements of our story into the ceremony. He made us feel very comfortable with having him as our officiant. My husband and I are both of Christian faith and having a ceremony focused on God and God's love was very important for us to express on our wedding day---> Minister David carried this out marvelously. David was our officiant for our destination wedding on July 18, 2015 in San Juan. I could not be happier with the services provided by him and his wife. David did everything he could to make our day extra special and was extremely responsive and receptive to our ideas and planning in the months leading up to our wedding day. He helped us to get our marriage license in San Juan (which I imagine would be a stressful process normally) but he made it quick and simple. He and his beautiful wife had decorated our beach location perfectly (which happened to be extra special to us because it was the same spot we visited on the beach on our very first vacation together a couple years earlier). I would absolutely recommend Ocean Breeze Ceremonies to any of my friends and family!

David Mariani was a wonderful asset to our perfect ceremony. He guided us the whole way and gave so much more than i expected. It is difficult when you are planning a wedding far from home because of course your officiant is such an important part in the whole wedding experience. I mean no officiant, no wedding! David helped make the ceremony so special. He attended our rehearsal dinner the night before so he could get to know us and help us, very considerate of him. The day of the actual ceremony he came early, he was dressed so nice and looked so handsome, and he helped calm my husbands nerves while he waited for his bride. David even made wonderful programs that looked so nice and were very detailed. I didn't expect half of what David did for us, I am so appreciative of him and his services. Lastly, he didn't slack on the paperwork, I had my marriage certificate within 2 weeks from my wedding, that's including the 7 day time frame it took to ship from Puerto Rico. He is highly recommended in my book! Thank you David!!

We were married on April 14, 2015 at the Courtyard Marriott Isla Verde. David Mariani was our officiant. He was beyond amazing and helpful! He filled in for us as our legal consultant when she had something come up. So he helped make sure we had all of the proper paper work for our legal marriage. He picked us up at the resort the day before the wedding and took us to get our marriage license. He then provided us with a beautiful ceremony. He truly is an amazing man and helped me throughout the process tremendously. He is kind, caring, and a true professional. I am forever grateful for his help and services. Thank you David!

Pastor David was a perfect fit to our laid back beach wedding. He took time to personally meet us, discuss our do's and dont's and keep our ceremony spiritual yet non denominational, due to a mix of religious beliefs in our families. Not reliable! Beware!

Gave them dates and informed them it was short notice. Was told it would not be an issue and they canceled 3 days before the wedding and have not responded. Luckily found someone responsible who just so happened to be doing a wedding the same day in the same town.
