  Best DJ and JP

  I am so glad I chose occasional sounds to not only be my dj but my also my jp. Jeff and his team, did an amazing job. They were very attentive and kept checking to make sure everything was good. I will be using them for any other function that may come up in the future.

  The best DJ

  Just got married and hired occasional sounds for our wedding and everything was absolutely perfect! Jeff is great at what he does and had the party going and the dance floor packed all night! The music for our ceremony was absolutely perfect and as an ordained minister, he even married us! Definitely a must have for any event!

  Perfect for guests age 5 to 85

  Words cannot describe how great a job Jeff did at our wedding. He had the dance floor going all night and catered the music to everyone who was dancing. We were told by multiple guests that he had the right mix of new and old to keep everyone happy. We even had a few guests request a copy of his playlist (which he happily provided). I’ve been to enough weddings to know that this type of DJ is hard to find and will happily tell anyone who asks that Jeff is the best DJ I’ve ever seen.

  Jeff was absolutely amazing through the entire process! Jeff’s response time was impeccable and he was super attentive to our requests. His online portal made the experience seamless!   DJ Jeff was amazing throughout the entire process! He took the pressure off of us and helped the ceremony and reception go so smoothly. Everyone was out on the dance floor the entire night and had a blast! We had tons of guests tell us how great he was and how they had an absolute blast!

  DJ Jeff Pelchat of Occasional Sounds: Wedding Performance Review

  Jeff gave us the wedding celebration with a performance that left an lasting mark on the hearts and dancing shoes of all in attendance. He had a diverse playlist that seamlessly bridged the gap between music genre’s and tastes of the crowd. His ability to read the room and adapt his playlist ensured that guests of all ages felt included. I received a tremendous amount of feedback on the music for the wedding, and it wouldn’t have been the same without him. For those in search of a DJ who can bring people together and elevate the time, Jeff comes highly recommended.

  Jeff Saved our Wedding!!!

  Three days before our wedding our original DJ emailed us and said due to personal issues they would not be able to DJ our wedding!!! We received Jeff’s name from not only friends but also from our venue as someone to trust. Jeff was professional and communicated well with us. In two days he was able to put together all of our music and correctly. The sound at the ceremony and cocktail hour was wonderful and then the music and lighting at the wedding kept everyone on the dance floor all night. In two days he was able to have all our wedding parties names correct and made the music at our wedding wonderful! Highly recommended! I can only imagine what he would have been able to done if we had hired him first!

  Excellent DJ!

  We loved working with DJ Jeff throughout our wedding planning. He has such great, positive energy and we knew that would be perfect for us! He was incredibly responsive and available to answer any questions we had - there was zero stress when working with him which was such a relief. Our guests loved him too and we got lots of comments on how good of a job he did!

  Saved the day!

  We hired a "friend" of my husband's who was at the venue setting up starting at 1030am for a 4pm start time. I was told around 330 that the DJ had left due to an emergency. Imagine my panic 30 mins from the ceremony with no DJ. Thanks to my photographer, she was able to find Jeff Pelchat of Occasional Sounds DJ Service who was gracious enough to save the day and was at the venue in under an hour setting up and getting all of the bridal party info needed for intros and asked for my song list I had originally sent to the first DJ. He truly saved the day, and it was probably a blessing in disguise that our first DJ left. He kept us on the dance floor til the very end and was just SO GREAT. Highly recommend!!!

  Best dj ever

  Jeff couldn’t have been any better of a DJ and support system through the wedding process. From helping decide the best music and lighting to providing the most amazing Photo Booth and props to helping ease the stress of planning a wedding Jeff was there every step of the way. When I couldn’t decide what song to walk down the aisle to I put the decision in his hands and he picked the perfect one on the first shot. When we needed help getting our justice of the peace situated he jumped into action and sent me all the possible information and links I could have needed. When I decided the day before the wedding that I wanted to find a way to let my husband watch the playoff hockey game at our wedding reception Jeff found a way to make it happen and pulled it off without a fault! Every worry was lifted, every want was granted, and I can honestly say DJ Jeff is what made my wedding day run smoothly. It has been three weeks since the wedding and I STILL have friends and family talking about how perfect the day was and how great the music was. I will forever recommend Jeff as a DJ to anyone who needs him and palm to use him for every event I host moving forward. My husband and I feel like we have not only found the perfect DJ but also a great friend!

  Professional, fun, listened to what we were going for at the wedding.

  Most importantly EVERYONE has called since the wedding and said the DJ was terrific and the selection of music kept them on the dance floor until the very end.

  My decision to have @djfrenchee Jeff be my dj for one of the most important days of my life was one of the best choices i made during this wonderful day! He was very professional and open minded to opinions that me and my wife had about the music we were selecting he was patient and more than willing to help us make our day that much special!   Jeff was the DJ for our daughters wedding in Sept. 2022. I can't say enough about how awesome he was! He kept the party going all night, was a complete professional and really took time to understand the music my daughter and her fiance wanted at the wedding. THE BEST!!! THANK YOU JEFF!!

  Working with Jeff was amazing! He totally understood me and my husband's vibe from the start.   Jeff was amazing from start to finish. He went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and worked so well in tandem with the event coordinator. He even helped with making sure our marriage license was taken care of properly. I wish i could give more stars!

His online site for couples was user friendly and an amazing way to help us select songs for our special dances, etc. We also added in the photobooth services which was such a HUGE hit and I absolutely love the album they created for me of everyone's pictures - such a meaningful gift. I would certainly recommend this crew if you're looking to secure your event DJ 🙂

  Everything we wanted and more!

  Where do we begin! Jeff was the absolute best! From the moment we met him up until even after our wedding! He was always available for any question at any time. He walked us thru everything and helped design our day thru music. He made what I thought was going to be a stressful experience very laid back and easy going! Day of everyone was out on that dance floor from the moment they walked in till the lights came on! How many weddings have you been too where you can say people were dancing before dinner! We had a bunch of little kids at our wedding and Jeff made sure to incorporate music for them that even the adults were dancing too and having a great time! Jeff was such a joy to work with even when this chaotic bride was switching things up right up until the middle of my ceremony. Jeff just rolled with it and helped us accomplish everything we wanted! My husband and I have very different tastes and requests in music and how Jeff made that all flow together I’ll never know! Jeff worked with our venue so we didn’t even have to play middle man which was huge. It felt more like we had a great friend along for the crazy ride with us! All of our guests are still raving about the amount of fun the had. Which as any bride will tell you is her biggest fear! Not with Jeff though. There will be fun and there will be dancing SO MUCH DANCING! Let’s not forget about the wonderful uplighting he offers to help set the stage for your big night! Make sure to ask him about his wife Kathy who runs her own Photo Booth too (funfotos2go) that was an amazing experience which we all loved! It was pretty special to have a husband and wife team supporting us and giving us the party (wedding lol) of more then we dreamt of!

Jeff was such a joy to work with even when this chaotic bride was switching things up right up until the middle of my ceremony. Jeff just rolled with it and helped us accomplish everything we wanted! My husband and I have very different tastes and requests in music and how Jeff made that all flow together I’ll never know! Jeff worked with our venue so we didn’t even have to play middle man which was huge. It felt more like we had a great friend along for the crazy ride with us! All of our guests are still raving about the amount of fun the had. Which as any bride will tell you is her biggest fear! Not with Jeff though. There will be fun and there will be dancing SO MUCH DANCING! Let’s not forget about the wonderful uplighting he offers to help set the stage for your big night! Make sure to ask him about his wife Kathy who runs her own Photo Booth too (funfotos2go) that was an amazing experience which we all loved! It was pretty special to have a husband and wife team supporting us and giving us the party (wedding lol) of more then we dreamt of!

  Jeff was amazing!

  We hired Jeff as our wedding DJ and he was nothing short of fantastic! He knew his stuff inside and out and performed flawlessly. From leading us with perfect direction, to keeping all of our guests up on the dance floor having the time of their lives, he nailed it! Both my bride and myself would VERY highly recommend him (and his wife Kathy's photoboth, which was also INCREDIBLE!)!!!

  DJ Jeff was great from start to finish. He was easy to communicate and always very enthusiastic and accommodating.

  The photo booth and DJ package was everything we expected. DJ Jeff and his crew were great. They got the party started and kept it going till the last song. He even created a beautiful acoustic version to the song I walked down the aisle to. Highly recommend!!!

  Ah-mazing experience!

  Where do I begin with Jeff? From the beginning to the end of the process, he was responsive, attentive, professionql and accommodating. He definitely made what could be an overwhelming experience so easy. My husband and I didn't feel any pressure when it came to our music selection, and we felt our needs were met! He definitely knows how to engage the crowd/read the room - playing a good mix of our requested songs and others to keep the vibe going, as well as acommodating requests from our guests during the reception. We had a good mix of an older and younger crowd and we still have guests telling us how much they loved the music/atmosphere weeks later. I would definitely recommend occasional sounds for your upcoming event.

  Excellent Service

  Jeff was a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately we moved our wedding venue to another state and were unable to use Jeff as our DJ but our experience with him was great and he was kind enough to provide a full refund of our deposit due to the circumstances of our cancelling and the notice we were able to give (more than one year out). Thanks, Jeff!

  After our first zoom meeting ended I took note of my elevated energy level and knew they were exactly what we were looking for.   We found Jeff with our venues preferred vendors list, and let me tell you, my wife and I were not disappointed. Jeff was always there for us to make sure we were confident in our ceremony and our song choices and everything for our reception. Jeff did our ceremony which was amazing, and during our reception made sure the dance floor was always packed, which was definitely one of the most important things to us for our wedding. With top of the line equipment and great experience you will not go wrong hiring Occasional sounds for your special day! If I could give Jeff more stars i would!
