  Hiring Jeff was the best decision we could have made. He made everything very easy. From initial contact to his link for songs, to the final meeting the week before the event. You don't have to remember a thing. He does for you. He also answered every single question no matter when we texted him. You will not be ghosted by him! He is 100% the best DJ we could have hired. Played all the guests’ requests, read the crowd very well and knew how to keep them dancing. I would absolutely hire him again and anyone who needs to have some piece of their wedding that doesn’t need to be babysat you need to hire Occasional Sounds. He comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience and offers other services and up lighting that can match any theme or venue. He gives you the attention you deserve. We went with a smaller business because we don't like big corporations, and we don't like being bounced around in voice mails... If you hire Jeff, you get Jeff and that's really all you need to have one of the best events of your life!!

  Great Service!

  We had a great wedding experience with Occasional Sounds DJ Service! DJ Jeff was very professional and easy going. He had a lot of knowledge and experience and helped us figure out things we wanted for the wedding reception. He was definitely our hype man and kept our timeline on track leading up to open dance floor. the music was great and if people happened to leave the dance floor he played songs to get them back on their feet. Great Service! would definitely book again and recommend!

  Our wedding

  From the initial meetings, planning every step of the way, coming to the rehearsal to make sure everyone was prepared and the day of— (even being our officiant!) Jeff made the entire process an easy and enjoyable one. From the ceremony to the last song of the night he kept the crowd engaged and having a great time. If there’s one thing me and my husband found the most important on the big day was the music and Jeff did not disappoint! People are still talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor! People are still talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor! I’m so glad we chose occasional sounds for our big day and wouldn’t hesitate to again for any future events.

  Jeff was very easy to work with and very responsive throughout planning. On the day of the wedding, his expertise shined from beginning to end.

  Occasional Sounds DJ is more like Perpetual Party Peeps Jeff and Kathy.
  We cannot recommend them highly enough! You bring the people, and they bring the fun stuff. Jeff is that life of the party guy that you need to amp everyone up. He is the ultimate pitch man with nothing to sell except a fun time....and you will be buying it up. FunphotostoGO is amazing! So many people flocked to the camera, and it added way more memories to our wedding. Do not miss out on this part!
  He made a campground wedding fun! The more info you give them, the more tailored the experience will be. Exceptionally good at planning for the couple /event / mood.
  Wife and I were so happy to know Jeff and Kathy and have them be part of our day. They are very meticulous and always on time and sharply dressed.

  My wife and I got married at five bridge inn on 4/14/24. Jeff was incredibly helpful from start to finish. Every step of the way he was very responsive, professional and helpful. He made the whole wedding experience so much better and unique and memorable. Jeff helped our ordained minister with filling out his paperwork for the first time. All around great experience and highly recommend

  Wedding Spring 2024

  I booked occasional sounds for my wedding 2 weeks ago. The wedding was amazing and Jeff did a great job at reading the room with music. My husband and I have a large range of music we like and Jeff was able to play all of it with great transitions between songs. Jeff was very easy to work with and he thought of a lot of details I didn't think of. He was Organized and definitely has a passion for music. I highly recommend using occasional sounds. He helped make the craziness of a wedding manageable. He was a huge help overall. 10/10

Day of my wedding about 30 mins before we walked down the aisle he came to my room to check in on me and my bridesmaids. It was so thoughtful and the extra steps always count. People are telling us it was the best wedding they’ve been to and it was because Jeff was so awesome. Book him for your wedding and you won’t be disappointed.

  Words cannot describe how great a job Jeff did at our wedding. He had the dance floor going all night and catered the music to everyone who was dancing. I’ve been to enough weddings to know that this type of DJ is hard to find and will happily tell anyone who asks that Jeff is the best DJ I’ve ever seen.

  DJ Jeff Pelchat of Occasional Sounds: Wedding Performance Review

  Jeff gave us the wedding celebration with a performance that left an lasting mark on the hearts and dancing shoes of all in attendance. He had a diverse playlist that seamlessly bridged the gap between music genre’s and tastes of the crowd. His ability to read the room and adapt his playlist ensured that guests of all ages felt included. I received a tremendous amount of feedback on the music for the wedding, and it wouldn’t have been the same without him. For those in search of a DJ who can bring people together and elevate the time, Jeff comes highly recommended.

  Jeff Saved our Wedding!!!

  Three days before our wedding our original DJ emailed us and said due to personal issues they would not be able to DJ our wedding!!! We received Jeff’s name from not only friends but also from our venue as someone to trust. Jeff was professional and communicated well with us. In two days he was able to put together all of our music and correctly. The sound at the ceremony and cocktail hour was wonderful and then the music and lighting at the wedding kept everyone on the dance floor all night. In two days he was able to have all our wedding parties names correct and made the music at our wedding wonderful! Highly recommended! I can only imagine what he would have been able to done if we had hired him first!

  We loved working with DJ Jeff throughout our wedding planning. He has such great, positive energy and we knew that would be perfect for us! He was incredibly responsive and available to answer any questions we had - there was zero stress when working with him which was such a relief. Our guests loved him too and we got lots of comments on how good of a job he did!

  Saved the day!

  We hired a "friend" of my husband's who was at the venue setting up starting at 1030am for a 4pm start time. I was told around 330 that the DJ had left due to an emergency. Imagine my panic 30 mins from the ceremony with no DJ. Thanks to my photographer, she was able to find Jeff Pelchat of Occasional Sounds DJ Service who was gracious enough to save the day and was at the venue in under an hour setting up and getting all of the bridal party info needed for intros and asked for my song list I had originally sent to the first DJ. He truly saved the day, and it was probably a blessing in disguise that our first DJ left. He kept us on the dance floor til the very end and was just SO GREAT. Highly recommend!!!

  We hired a "friend" of my husband's who was at the venue setting up starting at 1030am for a 4pm start time. I was told around 330 that the DJ had left due to an emergency. Imagine my panic 30 mins from the ceremony with no DJ.   Best dj ever

  Jeff couldn’t have been any better of a DJ and support system through the wedding process. From helping decide the best music and lighting to providing the most amazing Photo Booth and props to helping ease the stress of planning a wedding Jeff was there every step of the way. When I couldn’t decide what song to walk down the aisle to I put the decision in his hands and he picked the perfect one on the first shot. When we needed help getting our justice of the peace situated he jumped into action and sent me all the possible information and links I could have needed. When I decided the day before the wedding that I wanted to find a way to let my husband watch the playoff hockey game at our wedding reception Jeff found a way to make it happen and pulled it off without a fault! Every worry was lifted, every want was granted, and I can honestly say DJ Jeff is what made my wedding day run smoothly. It has been three weeks since the wedding and I STILL have friends and family talking about how perfect the day was and how great the music was. I will forever recommend Jeff as a DJ to anyone who needs him and palm to use him for every event I host moving forward. My husband and I feel like we have not only found the perfect DJ but also a great friend!

  Professional, fun, listened to what we were going for at the wedding.

  Most importantly EVERYONE has called since the wedding and said the DJ was terrific and the selection of music kept them on the dance floor until the very end.

  We had Jeff from occasional sounds DJ our wedding Oct 16. I could not have been more happy with the service he provided. He communicates often and is always available to answer questions. We gave him a few choices we wanted played and he built the rest of the music list based on that and our input. Let me tell you he nailed it perfectly. The dance floor was never empty until he last song was played. He was entertaining and a pleasure to be around. I would definitely hire him again and tell friends and family to hire him also.

  My decision to have @djfrenchee Jeff be my dj for one of the most important days of my life was one of the best choices i made during this wonderful day! He was very professional and open minded to opinions that me and my wife had about the music we were selecting he was patient and more than willing to help us make our day that much special!   Working with Jeff was amazing! He totally understood me and my husband's vibe from the start. He was super easy to work with, always had time to talk and just went above and beyond throughout the entire process. The day of the wedding, he knew exactly how to keep the day flowing and how to get the party going! So happy we found him!
