Jeff is the best! He captured every detail of what we wanted for our music, including things I never even thought of. Everything was perfect, right down to the timing of my entrance song. He checked in with us throughout the night to see if we needed anything…and even offered to go get a drink from the bar for my husband and me so we could sit for a minute and enjoy our meal. Hiring Jeff was the best decision we could have made. He made everything very easy. From initial contact to his link for songs, to the final meeting the week before the event. You don't have to remember a thing. He does for you. He also answered every single question no matter when we texted him. You will not be ghosted by him! He is 100% the best DJ we could have hired. Played all the guests’ requests, read the crowd very well and knew how to keep them dancing. I would absolutely hire him again and anyone who needs to have some piece of their wedding that doesn’t need to be babysat you need to hire Occasional Sounds. From the initial meetings, planning every step of the way, coming to the rehearsal to make sure everyone was prepared and the day of— (even being our officiant!) Jeff made the entire process an easy and enjoyable one. From the ceremony to the last song of the night he kept the crowd engaged and having a great time. If there’s one thing me and my husband found the most important on the big day was the music and Jeff did not disappoint! People are still talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor! Occasional Sounds DJ is more like Perpetual Party Peeps Jeff and Kathy.
We cannot recommend them highly enough! You bring the people, and they bring the fun stuff. Jeff is that life of the party guy that you need to amp everyone up. He is the ultimate pitch man with nothing to sell except a fun time....and you will be buying it up. FunphotostoGO is amazing! So many people flocked to the camera, and it added way more memories to our wedding. Do not miss out on this part!
He made a campground wedding fun! The more info you give them, the more tailored the experience will be. Exceptionally good at planning for the couple /event / mood.
Wife and I were so happy to know Jeff and Kathy and have them be part of our day. They are very meticulous and always on time and sharply dressed.

Jeff was so amazing to work with. He was so responsive to texts and email. We met multiple times of zoom and he was professional but fun to talk to. He assured me my mom wouldn’t ruin the wedding because he would filter all requests. We had the whole wedding on the dance floor all night long due to Jeff. He knew how to read the room and the vibes of the room so every song he played absolutely was a hit. Day of my wedding about 30 mins before we walked down the aisle he came to my room to check in on me and my bridesmaids. It was so thoughtful and the extra steps always count. People are telling us it was the best wedding they’ve been to and it was because Jeff was so awesome. Book him for your wedding and you won’t be disappointed.

I booked occasional sounds for my wedding 2 weeks ago. The wedding was amazing and Jeff did a great job at reading the room with music. My husband and I have a large range of music we like and Jeff was able to play all of it with great transitions between songs. Words cannot describe how great a job Jeff did at our wedding. He had the dance floor going all night and catered the music to everyone who was dancing. We were told by multiple guests that he had the right mix of new and old to keep everyone happy. We even had a few guests request a copy of his playlist (which he happily provided). Jeff Saved our Wedding!!!
Three days before our wedding our original DJ emailed us and said due to personal issues they would not be able to DJ our wedding!!! We received Jeff’s name from not only friends but also from our venue as someone to trust. Jeff was professional and communicated well with us. In two days he was able to put together all of our music and correctly. The sound at the ceremony and cocktail hour was wonderful and then the music and lighting at the wedding kept everyone on the dance floor all night. In two days he was able to have all our wedding parties names correct and made the music at our wedding wonderful! Highly recommended! I can only imagine what he would have been able to done if we had hired him first!

Saved the day!
We hired a "friend" of my husband's who was at the venue setting up starting at 1030am for a 4pm start time. I was told around 330 that the DJ had left due to an emergency. Imagine my panic 30 mins from the ceremony with no DJ. Thanks to my photographer, she was able to find Jeff Pelchat of Occasional Sounds DJ Service who was gracious enough to save the day and was at the venue in under an hour setting up and getting all of the bridal party info needed for intros and asked for my song list I had originally sent to the first DJ. He truly saved the day, and it was probably a blessing in disguise that our first DJ left. He kept us on the dance floor til the very end and was just SO GREAT. Highly recommend!!!

Jeff couldn’t have been any better of a DJ and support system through the wedding process. From helping decide the best music and lighting to providing the most amazing Photo Booth and props to helping ease the stress of planning a wedding Jeff was there every step of the way. When I couldn’t decide what song to walk down the aisle to I put the decision in his hands and he picked the perfect one on the first shot. When we needed help getting our justice of the peace situated he jumped into action and sent me all the possible information and links I could have needed. When I decided the day before the wedding that I wanted to find a way to let my husband watch the playoff hockey game at our wedding reception Jeff found a way to make it happen and pulled it off without a fault! Every worry was lifted, every want was granted, and I can honestly say DJ Jeff is what made my wedding day run smoothly. It has been three weeks since the wedding and I STILL have friends and family talking about how perfect the day was and how great the music was. I will forever recommend Jeff as a DJ to anyone who needs him and palm to use him for every event I host moving forward. We had Jeff from occasional sounds DJ our wedding Oct 16. I could not have been more happy with the service he provided. He communicates often and is always available to answer questions. Jeff was the DJ for our daughters wedding in Sept. 2022. I can't say enough about how awesome he was! He kept the party going all night, was a complete professional and really took time to understand the music my daughter and her fiance wanted at the wedding. THE BEST!!! THANK YOU JEFF!!

Occasional Sounds DJ Service
We had such a great experience with Occasional Sounds DJ Services. Jeff was organized, always available if I had questions and was spot of with attention to detail. His online site for couples was user friendly and an amazing way to help us select songs for our special dances, etc. We also added in the photobooth services which was such a HUGE hit and I absolutely love the album they created for me of everyone's pictures - such a meaningful gift. I would certainly recommend this crew if you're looking to secure your event DJ 🙂

Everything we wanted and more!
Where do we begin! Jeff was the absolute best! From the moment we met him up until even after our wedding! He was always available for any question at any time. He walked us thru everything and helped design our day thru music. He made what I thought was going to be a stressful experience very laid back and easy going! Day of everyone was out on that dance floor from the moment they walked in till the lights came on! How many weddings have you been too where you can say people were dancing before dinner! We had a bunch of little kids at our wedding and Jeff made sure to incorporate music for them that even the adults were dancing too and having a great time! Jeff was such a joy to work with even when this chaotic bride was switching things up right up until the middle of my ceremony. Jeff just rolled with it and helped us accomplish everything we wanted! My husband and I have very different tastes and requests in music and how Jeff made that all flow together I’ll never know! Jeff worked with our venue so we didn’t even have to play middle man which was huge. It felt more like we had a great friend along for the crazy ride with us! All of our guests are still raving about the amount of fun the had. Which as any bride will tell you is her biggest fear! Not with Jeff though. There will be fun and there will be dancing SO MUCH DANCING! Let’s not forget about the wonderful uplighting he offers to help set the stage for your big night! Make sure to ask him about his wife Kathy who runs her own Photo Booth too (funfotos2go) that was an amazing experience which we all loved! It was pretty special to have a husband and wife team supporting us and giving us the party (wedding lol) of more then we dreamt of!

Ah-mazing experience!
Where do I begin with Jeff? From the beginning to the end of the process, he was responsive, attentive, professionql and accommodating. He definitely made what could be an overwhelming experience so easy. My husband and I didn't feel any pressure when it came to our music selection, and we felt our needs were met! He definitely knows how to engage the crowd/read the room - playing a good mix of our requested songs and others to keep the vibe going, as well as acommodating requests from our guests during the reception. We had a good mix of an older and younger crowd and we still have guests telling us how much they loved the music/atmosphere weeks later. I would definitely recommend occasional sounds for your upcoming event.

My husband and I used Occasional Sounds for our wedding reception recently and we are beyond pleased. Booking was super easy and Jeff was always responsive. They are very professional but still makes it feel very personable. Jeff and Bob were absolutely phenomenal and attentive. Jeff was very patient and accommodating to all of my idea changes. They got everyone out on the dance floor and the vast music selections were incredible! Not to mention how they both made sure the night went smoothly! I could never imagine going with anyone else! We found Jeff with our venues preferred vendors list, and let me tell you, my wife and I were not disappointed. Jeff was always there for us to make sure we were confident in our ceremony and our song choices and everything for our reception. Jeff did our ceremony which was amazing, and during our reception made sure the dance floor was always packed, which was definitely one of the most important things to us for our wedding. Jeff was recommended by a friend of a friend and from the start which due to covid was a while ago, he has been so easy and enjoyable to work with amongst all the challenges we had and always changing restrictions. We had a casual in person meeting (local pizza place) and many zoom meetings throughout the process. He is professional and knows a lot about the business he is in and was easily available to communicate with.
Altering our plans to a small wedding and not knowing exactly how it would happen weeks before, he was so flexible with his contract and it made things less stressful for us! We stuck through it all and on our wedding day we had zero issues and the guests all had a good time. Occasional sounds offers up lighting, some other entertainment options as well and his wife’s photo booth business (funfotos2go) which is a major perk!

The best DJ
There is no words in which I can truly describe how amazing Jeff was! He was a last minute vendor since my previous one backed out a month and a half before the wedding! I went on my venue's website to find recommendations vendors and Jeff's site caught my attention. I reached out to him and thankfully he was available for my wedding! Jeff was absolutely amazing and really knows what he is doing! I couldn't even imagine a better DJ! He was perfect at being our MC. We played Ben and Jill trivia and the wedding shoe game. He did amazing at getting everyone involved in the games and the dancing. I would hands down 100000% recommend him, and I wish I had another event to have him come to! Oh and his wife does a photo both which my guests absolutely loved!!! For everything that we got and the attention to detail he has, the price is unbeatable!

Jeff was an absolutely phenomenal DJ to work with during the whole wedding process. He took us out to a nice dinner to initially speak about what we wanted for our day. Four years ago when my cousin got married she had Jeff as her DJ and I knew then that I wanted him as my dj and I hadn’t even met my husband yet! 😆😆😆 when the time came - I asked Jeff for his availability and that’s how I picked my wedding date! Jeff was AMAZING from beginning to end. He was very responsive to any and every question I had. He was very organized and is on top of his game! He definitely loves what he does and it shows. He was always checking in with me day of and definitely calmed my nerves. He knew about my love of all things DISNEY and incorporated that into the night - starting with playing “be our guest” as the food was served. We added TV screens so I could display slideshows that I made. Jeff also played music videos during the dancing portion which was awesome. Who doesn’t love 90s videos?! I would recommend Jeff to anyone - he runs a great party!

Jeff is amazing!! I highly recommend using him for your event! From our first meeting he made the entire process feel easy. You'll easily connect with his friendly, laid back personality and he is genuinely excited to help provide your wedding vision and fulfill all of your requests. We could not be happier with Jeff at Occasional Sounds! From first meeting until the very end it was nothing short of amazing. Jeff is so comfortable to work with and truly understands your vision. He also is a master in disguise if you need any help or suggestions he is there. His work is truly amazing and he even adds special touches to make your day personal and sincere. Super Awesome Wedding DJ!
Working with Jeff was nothing but amazing from start to finish! First of all, he’s super cool, friendly, funny, easy to talk to, and open to any and all suggestions (we wanted primarily 90’s music). He uses an online database where you can type in the details of your wedding and choose music for various playlists. My now husband and I did a FaceTime call with Jeff the week before our wedding to solidify details- even the phone call was fun! Weather was iffy on our wedding day- and we had to move our beach ceremony inside. Jeff was AWESOME and so flexible! The reception was an absolute BLAST!! Jeff really works the crowd and interacts with the wedding guests, all while playing our favorite 90’s jams (a must for our wedding)! His setup at the reception was very professional, looked awesome, and just made you want to party! We recommend Jeff for all your wedding DJ needs (including uplighting)!

The Best DJ ever!
DJ Jeff snd OSDJ were incredible! All my guests commented it was one of the best DJs at any wedding they attended. Jeff is so down to earth, very easy to talk to you, so helpful with other aspects of wedding planning besides music and entertainment. I felt like I’ve known him for years talking with him during preplanning. He incorporated every song I requested and was able to adapt to the crowd and get everyone up on their feet. We had a lot of specific requests with our wedding party intros with songs that aren’t very well known, and he did an amazing job putting it together. Also, what wedding DJ has smoke cannons! He does! It was like a mini club, which is exactly what my husband and I were going for. He also has amazing uplighting and other entertainment options. I cannot recommend DJ and Occasional Sounds enough to anyone else getting married in the future, or for any other events as well. Thank you so much Jeff!

From the planning to the wedding Jeff was there to ease our wedding worries. He let us know what we had to contribute & what we could trust in him to do. He always responded to our questions quickly & gave great guidance as to how our day would run. He was flexible & even met with us on his day off. He always had a smile on his face & a friendly manner. Day off the wedding it rained, we last minute switched the cocktail area & he sprung into action to quickly provide music to our guests. Our guests loved the music, uplighting, TVs with music videos and slideshows he provided. The mirror booth his wife's company Funphotos2go provided was so much fun. We had all the bells & whistles. I am so glad we picked Occasional Sounds Dj Service for our recent wedding. Jeff was incredible to work with from start to finish. He's a busy guy, but he always made us feel like we were his #1 priority, from answering our communications right away, to remembering details we'd told him about our preferences, to talking us through our options when we were being indecisive. He gave us great ideas for our ceremony and reception songs, worked with us extensively on the format of our wedding, and played the perfect playlist during the actual reception. Jeff and his team were nothing short of 'everything we hoped for'! The 2 things most important to me for our wedding was the photographer and the DJ. I've been to weddings with awful DJs and I didn't want that to happen to us. Jeff was super attentive when I reached out and has a great personality. We liked him so much, we decided to use him for our officiant also. We trusted in him and didn't put any restrictions so he could do his thing and we were so happy we did! We had guests asking about him and saying things like, "I've never seen so many people on the dance floor the entire time" and "He had such a great mix of music that went from one song into the next so well." For us, we also noted that he had a good amount of announcements without talking TOO much (we've all seen those DJs!) It was fun to see how many people were "wow'd" by his DJ set up too. It was clean and professional looking. Oh, and we used his lighting as well and it looked great. We truely couldn't have been happier and we would use him again in a heartbeat!
