Perfect venue, perfect people, perfect day!
We are so happy we made the choice to get married at Oakridge. From the moment we booked, we felt settled. As said in previous reviews, Shelley was amazing. Throughout our planning, she was responsive to our questions, no matter how frequently we contacted her. The day of the wedding, I couldn't have been more pleased with how everything was set up. Shelley and her team were careful with our items and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted. At the end of the night, I was also pleased with how carefully everything was packed up for us to take home. Our day was perfect in every way! -

An all around great wedding experience! Everything went smoothly and Shelley took care of setting up that morning and reassured me about everything. The staff was also exceptional— AMAZING bartenders and waitstaff. Everyone was very flexible and wanted to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. My guests showed up a little early for cocktail hour and the staff rolled with it which was fantastic! -

Shelley was amazing! Kept in contact about every detail and walked me through every process. I would highly recommend Oakridge for any event especially a wedding . From choosing the venue until the final pick up of the last decoration , Shelley knocked it out of the park. I didn't have to worry about anything and We HAD an AMAZING WEDDING DAY! -

So happy with our decision
One of the best choices we made was choosing OakRidge as our venue. We were originally supposed to have our wedding on 9/12/20 but due to covid we had to postpone an entire year. I was nervous emailing Shelley as I heard horror stories about people trying to move their dates at other venues, but Shelley was awesome. She basically said no problem, when would you like to move it to. After we picked a new date, I thanked her for being so easy to work with and this was her response "I want to make sure you get the wedding you have always wanted... what’s 1 year later right?" After all the stress from making that decision it was so heartwarming to get a response like that. She definitely lived up to her statement of wanting us to have the wedding we dreamed of. Anything we asked for was "ok, no problem". The space is absolutely gorgeous, the food was amazing (and there was so much of it!) and the night went off without a hitch thanks to Shelley's organization and hard work. Thank you Shelley and everyone at OakRidge! -

I would recommend Oak Ridge in a heartbeat! The coordinator, Shelley, is the best! She was so helpful from the day we booked and for the entire process.
This was the first venue we looked at during their annual open house and ended up setting up a meeting with Shelley. After sitting with her for nearly two hours, she answered any and all questions we could have and we were sold! Throughout the wedding planning process, if I ever had any questions or concerns, I could just send Shelley a quick text and she was always responsive!
Our wedding was perfect, we couldn't have asked for a better venue. Even after having to postpone due to the pandemic, everything went smoothly. Being able to enter the bridal suite at any time, and stay there all day was a huge plus! It was so nice to be able to get ready right on site. And knowing that while we were there getting ready, Shelley and her crew were getting the reception hall and ceremony set up and looking gorgeous was so reassuring. Everything looked amazing, it was set up just as I had envisioned it.
Oh and the food! The food is delicious! Once we found out that a polish station is offered AND the chef is polish himself, we have to get that! Our guests were raving about their dinners afterwards, especially the pierogi!
With Shelley's easy going attitude and her keeping everything on track from start to finish we couldn't have asked for a better wedding! -

We can not say enough about Shelley and her team! Shelley is absolutely the best and we are so glad we decided to have our wedding at Oak Ridge! She answered probably a hundred questions from us, never once getting frustrated or blowing us off. She did everything in her power to make sure that our day was absolutely PERFECT!! On our wedding day, everyone on her team was so professional and caring. Our guests had a wonderful time and are still talking about how beautiful everything was. Thank you SO, SO much for everything Shelley!!! -

all around amazing
Shelley Karner the wedding coordinator was always helping me with every question concern and reassuring me everything would be perfect. if I had an idea of how I wanted something for my special day she made sure to go above and beyond to make it happen. the day of my wedding this past Saturday everything went so smoothly no concerns and the set up from the ceremony to the reception was amazing and the bridal suit was so cozy for me and my girls I sometimes forgot I was there for my wedding. the food was so good everyone wanted seconds. I can not recommend oak ridge enough the gorgeous views and choices you have if you want an outdoor or indoor event both spots are set up and gorgeous. and the golf course has many different spots your photographers can take you for those breath taking photos. you just have to go and check it out for yourself -

I can’t say enough good things about Oak Ridge. It’s such a beautiful venue and the staff was so great. The food was wonderful as well. Paul and Shelley were really great to work with and Shelley went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect. I didn’t have to worry the day of because Shelley was on top of everything. It was no e to be able to sit back and enjoy the day. -

This Venue was perfect for us. The entire staff from the owner to the waitstaff were amazing to say the least! The coordinator (Shelley) was very accommodating and extremely fun to work with as well as patient! The grounds are bright, clean and maintained. The banquet hall is set up nicely with lighting as well as plenty of windows to catch a great sunset. I could go on and on about how great our experience was.... Any major event in a persons life should be as stress-less as possible... Shelley and the entire staff at Oak Ridge made it happen for my wife and I!! There were a couple of little snags (no fault of the venue) during the day but within a blink of an eye they were already being taken care of before I could get the full sentence out!! Great Job!!! -

Excellent would highly recommend to have an event here
Shelley the event coordinator is fabulous. Very professional and is totally on the mark with everything you want. I would highly recommend Oak Ridge to have any kid of event from weddings, 16th birthday events to aby showers. They are awesome and After having my baby shower there 16 yrs ago to having my Twins 16th Birthday party there is no one comparable to the high quality you get there. Shelley is the best of the best. I will always recommend Oak Ridge. -

Brendan Sent on 07/03/2018i am so happy that i chose oakridge as my wedding venue. everything was just perfect. the staff, the decorations, the FOOD was amazing, and the wedding coordinator Shelly was the BEST!! Shelly was so involved and really went above and beyond the day of the wedding. everything was perfect and set just the way i wanted it to be. oakridge out did itself from the rehearsal, to the bridal suite and decorations, to making sure the whole day went flawless and ran smoothly. i cannot say enough about the food which was soooooo good. they even made sure to have my favorite drink fireball at the bar as they normally dont carry it. we ended up asking to stay an extra hour because we were having so much fun. the outside where we had the ceremony was beautiful and the scenery is great for pictures. they were very accommodating and really wanted you to have the wedding of your dreams. i cant say enough about how great everything was. a special thanks to Shelly for everything she did as she really went above and beyond. my wedding was perfect and oakridge really made sure it was the best day ever. thank you again. i highly highly highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married who wants a great experience, great staff, great food, beautiful pictures, and fairly priced. -
Jaime Sent on 12/02/2017Jeremy and I got married on 6-17-17 and it was the most perfect day! Shelley Carner is a fantastic coordinator and was always there when I needed her! She was calm, cool and collected and took care of everything so I could just enjoy the day! The Venue at OakRidge is absolutely beautiful and Paul was so friendly giving us a tour and offering different wedding packages that would best fit us! Our wedding was beautiful and we thank Paul, Shelley and the whole staff at OakRidge! Our guests also raves about the food! It was delicious!

Jennifer Sent on 08/02/2016Oak Ridge was everything we could have imagined. The outside venue was spectacular and in great shape. The food was phenomenal with the portions being huge. Cocktail hour went great and the bartenders provided as much entertainment as the guests. Paul and Theresa were on top of everything and made sure our day was perfect. We knew people that had gotten married at Oak Ridge and we are glad we did too!!!!!! -

Absolutely Amazing!
Oak ridge was a beautiful place to have my wedding. I was very satisfied with the scenery & how well kept the premises was. Our coordinator Shelley went above & beyond to make sure we had everything in order, and that we were satisfied. She was polite, organized, & just all around very sweet to us. We couldn’t have picked a better place to host our wedding. Thank you Oak Ridge! 10/10 recommend. -

Shelly was awesome! My husband and I are so pleased with how everything was set up. Shelly is very fast at responding to my messages with any question we might of had. She made my day so much easier and less stressful as can be. The food was absolutely delicious. We are so happy we picked this venue, couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. I can't express in words how pleased I was with her and the venue. She took all the stress I had out of my hands not just on the wedding day but anytime I came to her for something I was concerned about. I would definitely recommend this venue! -

They don’t do contracts…
Final payment 2 weeks before and the price increased per person by $10 a person… no notice to say their prices increased at any point…
Didn’t honor prices given…
A/C in bridal suite broken (should have had fixed before hand)
Told flowers would line the walkway to the green for ceremony and there were none but piles of dirt…
Otherwise the day was beautiful and the reception was set up perfectly. Just a few things to watch for using this venue…
