Nancy is truly a wonderful person (& so his her husband). They were so helpful every step of the way & truly made us feel at ease throughout the process. She is so thoughtful, flexible and has an excellent approach. We filled out forms, had phone calls, emails exchange and even met up for breakfast. She got to know us so well and really captured all of the important details for the ceremony. She told us exactly how to go about the formalities with certificates & applications along with the ceremony itself. She always made us feel comfortable with whatever route we wanted to do, in terms of vows & what would be said throughout the ceremony. To be honest, it was our favorite part of the entire wedding. It truly is you, your spouse to be and her up there. Felt like an angel was standing next to us. We love Nancy and HIGHLY recommend her. Thank you so much

Could not have asked for a better officiant

Nancy first officiated my sister’s wedding last year and we were absolutely moved into tears with her ceremony! When I got engaged shortly after, I knew we needed Nancy as our officiant as well! Nancy has a way of making it seem like she’s known us for years instead of just meeting you! Her vows for us were beautifully written and she really made our day so special.

Love Story

Nancy went above and beyond for our special day. We liked the fact that she wanted to meet us in person. From our meeting to her online questionnaire, she took the time to collaborate every detail into our ceremony. She made us laugh and made us cry. The best part was I didn't even read what she had come up with for our wedding. Well, she nailed it. She even brought her speakers for our processional and recessional music. I will never forget our day and Nancy made it so much more special.

Don't have any doubts about booking Nancy as your wedding officiant!

When it came to picking a wedding officiant, my fiance and I were pretty overwhelmed. Being that we weren't opting for a church ceremony, we really wanted to ensure it still felt meaningful and true to us. There was no one friend or family member that seemed like the natural fit to officiate. With that being said, we had no idea where to start!

Nancy came recommended from brides in the Facebook group of our venue. I figured there was no harm in reaching out, and I'm so thankful I did! She is extremely down to earth, has a calming nature, and walks you through the whole wedding license process (trust me - the help on this was key!)

We also met her and her husband for breakfast and filled out a couples questionnaire separately. From that point, we knew we were in great hands, but the ceremony surpassed anything we could have ever expected. Nancy so carefully took our story into consideration and truly hit all the notes in the "just right" length of time. It was the perfect blend of love, poetry, and levity - just so us in every way. It's hard to believe she was able to craft it from having one meal with us and our answers to a few questions. Our guests really appreciated it as well. We cannot recommend Nancy as your wedding office more!!!

Do not have any doubts about booking Nancy as your officiant!!

Best officiant ever!

Nancy is absolutely incredible and my wife and I feel so lucky that we had Nancy as our officiant. From our first call with Nancy, it was clear she was everything we were looking for. Nancy is sincere, professional, and genuinely enjoys being an officiant.

Nancy invested time to get to know my wife and I before the ceremony. During the ceremony, she shared key pieces of our story, part of a poem we hold dear, and a prayer we had requested. Nancy was clear that she wanted to perform the ceremony that my wife and I wanted. That’s exactly what she did. Also, our family and friends were so impressed with Nancy! It was clear to them that Nancy took the time to make the ceremony unique and personal to us — the effort she puts in makes the ceremony feel even more special.

Unforgettable Beach Ceremony

Nancy did a wonderful job officiating our wedding and guiding us through the process from the minute we engaged with her. Nancy's process was very natural to get to know us personally and understand how we envisioned the ceremony going. We are not people that like the spotlight and Nancy made us feel comfortable throughout the planning process and ceremony.

The ceremony hit on all the points of our relationship, why we love each other, as well as touched on a few other areas that meant a great deal to us. She was also able to provide beautiful arches for the ceremony, which was one of the reasons we reached out in the first place.

We highly recommend Nancy whether your looking for a beachside ceremony or not, she was great to work with!

Nancy is absolutely amazing! From the moment i spoke to her on the phone i knew she was the one to officiant our wedding. She sits down with you and really gets to know what you want out of your ceremony. She also gets to know you and partner to write the perfect ceremony. Lovely, personal ceremony

We couldn't have asked for a better officiant for our wedding! From the very beginning, Nancy was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. Nancy Created a Magical Evening for Us!

After 8 years together, we decided—on Dec 2nd—to get married during our annual New Years Eve party. We called Nuptials by Nancy on Dec 3rd, sure that it was impossible to pull it together in just 26 days, but she made everything happen. She gave us practical advice about how to get the marriage license, and designed a unique ceremony perfectly tailored to our style. Her questionnaire gave us an opportunity to remember our first meeting, and the things that make our story special. She used our answers to create a beautiful narrative of our love, which she then shared with our guests during the ceremony. It is obvious that Nancy cares deeply about her clients, and invests a lot of time, energy, and love into creating each individual wedding. Beautiful ceremony created by Nancy

Nancy was extremely professional, easy to work with and accommodating. She created a beautiful ceremony for us, catered specifically for us based on the information that we provided her with. After an introductory session, we met with Nancy to talk about how my husband and I met and about our story together. Based on this information, Nancy compiled a unique ceremony that was special for both, us and our wedding guests. We also incorporated candle lighting into the ceremony which added a spiritual sense to the day. Thank you for marrying us, Nancy!

A Beautiful Ceremony

I honestly can't express how much gratitude I have for Nancy and everything she was able to put together for our big day. While planning, I knew from the beginning that the ceremony was the most important aspect of the wedding for me and I wanted someone who could capture the essence of our relationship well. Everything was perfect !

Nancy is an amazing woman. We highly recommend her. Everything was perfect from the beginning until the ceremony. As two Canadians getting married in New Jersey, we wanted to be sure that everything would work. Even with the distance, she was always there for us. She explained us the process and she offered to help us with a lot of things. The speech she prepared for the ceremony was meaningful to us and our guest recognized us while she was talking. We can’t thank her enough.

Above and beyond - perfect

NBN knocked it out of the park! Not only did Nancy take the time to really get to know us, she asked thoughtful questions to shape the ceremony into something that felt uniquely "us." She gave us space to explore and daydream while offering professional guidance and experience along the way. We have a fun mix of heritages and traditions to pull from, Nancy did a great job of giving each of those traditions their "moment in the sun."

We asked Nancy to incorporate our friends and family into the ceremony and she did so beautifully - giving them speaking roles. Very few dry eyes in the audience!

From the pre-ceremony prep, to the ceremony itself, Nancy was an absolute joy to work with. We would wholeheartedly recommend her services to ANYONE of any faith looking for any style of a wedding.

Beautiful, thoughtful ceremony- Nancy is kind, compassionate, professional, and attentive to detail

Nancy crafted a custom ceremony for our wedding in Basking Ridge. Her words were meaningful and personal. She took the time to get to know us during two meetings before our ceremony, demonstrating her patience, care, and attention to detail. Nancy walked us through the process for obtaining our marriage license and certificate (it is quite complicated in NJ, and she put our minds at ease). Nancy worked well with other vendors to make our day go smoothly. On our wedding day, Nancy was present, punctual, and prepared. She was flexible in her willingness to move under a tent due to the rain. Her ceremony wowed us, and we and our loved ones are still thinking about her special words, as we will for years to come! I would highly recommend working with Nancy!

Nancy exceeded our expectations! She is so easy to "work with" but honestly, there is not any part of it that feels like work. We met Nancy and her husband Chris one day and it was so enjoyable. Amazingggg

Nancy was referred to us by a coworker, and we are so happy we worked with her! We were hesitant about finding an officiant since no one in our family felt comfortable to marry us and we wanted someone who knew us. Best Way to start the New Year!

Nancy Reamy! What can we say! One of the most personal, professional woman who we are glad we choose to officiate our wedding on New Year’s Day. What started out with what we thought was 40 guests and ended up with 12 ( thanks covid 😢), Nancy was flexible in every aspect from date to venue to size of wedding. Her word “tell me where I should be and I will be there!” Some of our guests asked if we knew Nancy. That’s how well she heard what we told her and relayed it beautifully. There was simply no one else who could have done a better job than Nancy and Chris. Nancy's services are thoughtful, her writing is beautiful, and she nails just the right balance of sentiment and humor. People raved all night about how wonderful the ceremony was, and it turned out to be our favorite part of the night. Wedding officiant

Nancy officiated our NJ wedding and completely exceeded all expectations. She and her husband Chris took the time to meet with us to determine exactly what our vision was for the ceremony and to learn about our story. Nancy was extremely flexible in crafting a ceremony based on our preferences and she was truly a calming presence throughout the entire process. Incredible Ceremony

Nancy officiated our August wedding at The Mill in Spring Lake. For several months prior to the big day, she collaborated with us on the flow of the ceremony, the rituals we were going to perform, as well as the creation of personalized vows. She offered guidance, inspiration, and reassurance when things became stressful. The day of the wedding, she revealed the customized ceremony she had created that incorporated all of our requested details. She wrote a beautiful introduction, a sentimental (and funny) retelling of our story, and guided us through the exchange of vows. My wife and I are incredibly grateful for the care and thoughtfulness she put into our ceremony. We've had multiple individuals approach us, including our parents, who all stated how beautiful her words were. She helped create the atmosphere of laughter, joy, and magic that we were looking for. This set the tone for our entire wedding day, which was a tremendous success, in no small part due to her. We highly recommend Nancy to officiate your wedding!

Nancy was very professional. She sent interview questions to both me and my husband. We also had a lengthy interview via zoom (pandemic). She put together a very intimate ceremony for us. She was open to any suggestions that we had as well. She responds to texts and emails quickly. Overall, it was a great experience.

Nancy (and her husband Chris) were an absolute pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend her enough! Her ceremony was so heartfelt and personal, and was exactly what we wanted. I don’t know how to start this but she’s the best and nicest wedding officiant ever! The absolute best! Book her if you can!

Nancy is absolutely amazing. She requested a face-to-face meeting with us to prepare for the wedding, which honestly, I didn't think was necessary at first. After meeting with her, I realized the method to her madness. In that discussion, she really got to know us as a couple. By the end of it, Nancy knew our love story front-to-back (high school sweethearts, so a lot to digest.) Having years of experience, she asked us questions that I would have never thought of (preferred tone of wedding, is bride taking grooms name, anything to not mention, etc.) After the ceremony, everyone was coming up to us and complimenting on how amazing the ceremony was, and also asking how we knew Nancy (assuming that we must be close friends, considering the number of close/personal details she spoke of.) Everyone was shocked to learn that she was able to deliver such a beautiful, magical, and personalized ceremony after having spoken to us only a handful of times. Nancy takes this very seriously, and rightfully so. My wedding was hands down the best night of my life, and Nancy is a huge reason for that. I would highly recommend that anyone having a wedding in an area that Nancy services should book her.

Hired on short notice, felt like she knew us forever.

We hired Nancy with only a month to go, after having to move our wedding from Virginia, but she made it work! We did a consultation over Zoom and answered a quick questionnaire and despite Nancy only knowing us for a month, one of our guests asked, "So is she a family friend? She really knew you guys." Our wedding ceremony was customized to us and felt like us, incorporating some of our favorites readings. My mom said she was so caught up in listening to everything Nancy said that she didn't even have a chance to cry! I can't recommend Nancy enough.

She found and quoted literature we love that completely matched us as a couple, creatively placed the readings we chose, and inserted surprise personal touches we never saw coming. Nancy was also careful to hit just the tone we wanted: composed and momentous with a hint of humor and fun. She is also such a professional when it comes to public speaking and made us feel completely at ease.
With all the outside stresses a wedding can bring, it's important to focus on the most significant moment of the day and Nancy completely created it and made it shine. When we reminisce on this ceremony, we immediately get emotional and will keep coming back to it for years to come!

Absolutely perfect wedding ceremony

I highly, highly reccomend Nancy as your wedding officiant! She really feels passionately about making sure your wedding ceremony fits you personally as a couple. She meets with you beforehand and gets to you know you both and finds out what you are looking for out of your ceremony. When we read her sample vows that she sent us, they were perfect! We couldn't have written them better ourselves. She was always available via email or text, any time of the day, and always promptly responded to any of my concerns or questions. During the wedding ceremony, she included sweet stories and personal words that my husband said about me and vice versa. It was beyond beautiful. My husband was very emotional before I walked down the aisle (and after) and Nancy was so supportive. She was there for him and that meant so much. It was the sweetest and most thoughtful ceremony. I can't say enough good things about Nancy. Her prep, her ceremony, her presentation, her voice...it was all AMAZING! More perfect than we could have ever imagined.

Amazing officiant!

Nancy is AMAZING! She is the right woman for the job. I loved the fact that she took the time to meet with us in person to get to know us and somehow magically made the most personal, continental yet somewhat funny ceremony for us. She said all the right things and customized the ceremony to fit how we wanted it to feel and flow. My only regret is that I didn’t have a videographer to capture it on video!! I would highly recommend her she is professional, personal, and caring. Best experience I could have asked for.

the perfect ceremony

our ceremony was exactly how we envisioned it - thanks to the hard work and effort put in by nancy, our day was absolutely perfect. after all, the actual marriage is the whole reason you have a wedding! our initial meeting was lovely. it was laid back and filled with laughter. my husband and i left feeling great about our choice to have nancy officiate. she listened to our stories about how we met and how we got engaged, and our ideas for how we wanted the ceremony to go. she took detailed notes and made suggestions where necessary. her communication was excellent - prompt, detailed, and clear. when i told her about my wish to have a traditional hawaiian lei exchange, she made it happen. (and it was perfect!) the beauty of it all was that she lets the couple do as much or as little as they want while the ceremony is happening. she takes what you want and makes it a reality. absolutely everything i asked for was there during our wedding. she is flexible, funny, and lighthearted. we are so happy with how everything turned out and if you book nuptials by nancy for your wedding, you will be too! thank you again for everything :)

Nancy made our day even more beautiful!

We met Nancy for about 2 hours over dinner and after that, she knew EVERYTHING about the dynamics of our relationship. She did this 'interview' to custom craft a beautiful ceremony for my now wife and I. We let her have free reign to describe our love story and it was pretty breathtaking.

Give Nancy a call and her personality shines through and she is just genuinely interested in the couples love story. At the end of the day, that's what its about, capturing and explaining the love the couple shares for one another.

With the torrential rains causing last minute changes to our plans, waiting on several family members being delayed in their travels, and a hasty setup of additional canopies, Nancy was outstanding in her patience, offering suggestions and persevered without her usual PA support (electric hazard in the rain). My husband and hired Nancy to officiate our wedding this past May. Her and her husband were both amazing! They took the time to meet with us and really get a feeling of who we are as a couple. Nancy questions to us as a couple and via email separately and created a ceremony better than I could've ever hoped for. It was funny, touching, emotional, and just a touch spiritual (for our conservative family members). I will admit I was moved to tears. I have heard nothing but positive things from all of our guests. Nancy and her husband also provide sound and music for the ceremony upon request which is one less thing to have to worry about! I highly recommend Nancy to any couple!

Until I met Nancy, I would have never imagined that using the correct officiant could make such a difference during a wedding, but Nancy was fantastic. She was professional, personal, and went above and beyond. At some points, she had everyone at the ceremony in tears (embarrassingly almost me too!), but minutes later she would have everyone cracking up. Using Nancy as our officiant, was one of the best decisions that we made.

Aside from being the best officiant I could have imagined, she helped with wedding planning, and her husband Chris helped with sound. Everyone at the wedding (including the conservative members of my family who wanted a priest), said how great she was. I would highly recommend Nancy.

My husband and I have been married for 25 years and decided we wanted to renew our vows - it was a decision we both felt strongly about. From start to finish, Nancy was incredible. It was a very small, intimate service at sunset on the pier. Even after 25 years of marriage, I was nervous! The passion and dedication she has for making this an unforgettable night was evident in her words. There were tears and laughter as she spoke to us and to our children. She personalized our service and included a quote (based on our interview) that touched me deeply. Nancy not only made my husband and I feel comfortable and confident in her ability to deliver a quality ceremony but she delivered! I had so many guests ask me where we found her and express how much they enjoyed how personal it was to us. She gets to know you as a couple and uses that information to compose a beautiful ceremony, 5 Stars all around!

If you are even remotely concerning having Nancy officiate your ceremony, do yourself a HUGE favor and just use her. She is outstanding. Every meeting with her, from the initial info session to our final touches to the ceremony was absolutely lovely. She clearly loves what she is doing and it really shows. Nancy communicated with us through each step of the process and gave us total control over our vows and ceremony. She gave us so many options when it came to the style of the ceremony and added little personal touches. There wasn't a dry eye in the house during the ceremony but 2 minutes later she had the entire crowd in stitches. Nancy was honestly one of the best parts of our entire wedding and my husband and I are eternally grateful for her services. She will blow you away!

Nancy is the absolute BEST person you can find to perform your wedding ceremony. My husband and I found her through a quick online search and to be honest, we were a little hesitant to go with someone we never met before. However, after one simple phone call, all those hesitations vanished and we were confident that Nancy was absolutely perfect. Do yourself a favor and take a couple minutes to get in touch with her, and I'm sure you will have no doubt in your mind that you landed the perfect officiant. She is personable, accommodating, her price is reasonable, and she genuinely believes in true love, which shines through the delivery of her ceremony.

My husband and I just got married on September 1, 2017, and she made our ceremony exactly what we wanted and more. She took the time to really get to know us personally, and incorporate our unique love story into the ceremony in a memorable and romantic way for us, while keeping it entertaining for our guests. Our guests continue to RAVE about our ceremony. She even gave us the idea of incorporating a unique wine box ceremony, which not only were we totally obsessed with, but so were our guests. Nancy was amazing to work with, and we are so happy that she was a part of our wedding. From our very first phone call, she was open and warm, and she made planning the ceremony easy and fun. She took the time to get to know us and our story, and put together a beautiful ceremony that reflected the unique bond my husband and I share. She made the whole room feel welcome and engaged. The next day, more people commented on the ceremony than any other part of the wedding! She was simply a delight to work with and we couldn't have been happier with the result. Nancy was simply delightful to work with. She is kind, caring, attentive to detail, and her very clear and singular goal is to create a meaningful, personal ceremony for you and your soon-to-be-spouse. No question, call or email will go unanswered or unclear. We were married in Cape May, Memorial Day Weekend 2017. Nancy worked with us to create a ceremony that was just perfect. She is truly a charming 'host' for your wedding ceremony with a very genuine spirit that shines through during your nuptials. Nancy was extremely attentive and spent a long time getting to know us. She really tailored the ceremony to be exactly what we wanted, including helping us work on our vows! Every detail was thought about and her words were incredibly personal and warm. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone, she made us feel at ease and gave us the ability to enjoy the moment fully.

Words cannot even begin to express how wonderful Nancy is at what she does. You can tell when you meet Nancy that this is not just a job for her. She loves what she does and it is made evident in every step of the process. When my husband and I began our search for an Officiant, we weren't entirely sure what to expect, but we knew that we wanted someone who enjoyed what they do and enjoyed guiding couples along on such a wild and exciting journey. Nancy was our perfect match. Her process was so easy and organized. We met her and and her husband for drinks a few months prior to our wedding so she could get to know us. She had us fill out individual survey's afterward. Her and I went back and forth through email multiple times to tweak the vows she came up with. The day of, she put together a totally non-traditional and non-denominational 15 minute ceremony that made our guests both laugh and cry.

She genuinely cares about each and every ceremony she puts together. Her husband also played our processional music which was super convenient. Worth every penny.

The best part about having Nancy perform our wedding was her commitment to making our ceremony truly original to "us". She's full of creative ideas, and spends a ton of time writing each ceremony from scratch for every couple -- no cookie-cutter vows here!

Nancy's nuptials were written like a storybook of our relationship. Everyone complimented the ceremony as it drew a clear picture of the path our relationship took to lead to our wedding day. From the first call to the many very lasts, Nancy was always available. Our ceremony couldn't of been anymore meaningful and from the heart without her. Every person who attended the wedding complimented on how sincere and heartfelt the words she expressed. I am so thankful for everything she has done even the last email a day before the wedding to just say relax and enjoy everything is going to be perfect! Nancy was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I got married on the beach in Sea Isle city. It was such a relief to have Nancy. She organized our ceremony for me and really helped us shape a unique ceremony perfect for us. She also brought a trellis and speaker system so our guests could hear over the gentle crashing of the waves. She is the best!!

The experience was exceptional. My husband and I were hoping for good weather and when that did not happen, plans had to be modified a few times. Nancy was gracious and very accommodating to ensure that we had the perfect day. The service and her remarks were so personal and will be remembered for years to come. It is so easy to get caught up in all the craziness attached to celebrating a marriage. For us, the ceremony is the most important part. When you have another chance at a new life, the last thing we wanted was cookie-cutter vows. Thankfully, we found Nancy through the recommendation of another happy bride. Nancy met with us and asked questions to find out not only what we wanted but who we are as individuals and as a couple. With this information, she crafted the perfect ceremony/vows for us. We loved it and so did our guests. Because of the January blizzard our wedding had to be postponed. Nancy graciously changed her own personal plans so she could be our officiant on our rescheduled day. That gesture was appreciated more than I can express in words. Nancy far exceeded our expectations for our ceremony. She is just delightful to work with! She took the time to get to know us as a couple and her words truly captured our love for one another. Nancy recently officiated our beach wedding in Point Pleasant and it was PERFECT! Our friends and family are still talking about how personal the ceremony was and how it was exactly what the envisioned for Justin and I. Justin and I met Nancy and her husband Chris at a small place in Montclair, from the moment we met them I knew Nancy would be officiating our wedding. We had spoken over the phone and the conversation just seemed to flow. She is easy to talk to, understanding, kind and absolutely LOVES what she does! Nancy was quick in responses to email and ensured me everything would go off without a hitch and she was right! The ceremony was beautiful, the words were everything we could have wanted. We are not traditional people and Nancy assured us that nothing was to out of the ordinary and she had officiated all types of ceremonies. Nancy was very professional. She met with us in person so that we could interview each other. She took the time to get to know both of us prior to the ceremony and made our wedding ceremony very intimate and personal. Nancy was also extremely accommodating in very helpful in designing our special ceremony. All of our guests had very favorable comments and feedback regarding Nancy and the ceremony that she performed. Wow! Nancy Reamy is an absolute pleasure. Upon meeting Nancy, we liked her immediately. Nancy's calm and positive demeanor made her easy to talk to and get to know. Nancy met with us on multiple occasions via Skype, meeting in person and through many emails. Nancy really took the time to get to know my husband and I and because of this we trusted her with our story. Nancy sent us several ideas for ceremony wording and allowed us to change and add as we saw fit. Nancy also took the time to send us questions to get to know us individually which ultimately lead to a wonderful surprise for my husband and I during the ceremony. It is difficult to go on a whim finding a person to officiate such an important event in one's life and we are so happy Nancy was there to do it for us. Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful! Nancy told our story with eloquence, grace and respect for our families. We couldn't have been happier. We thank you, Nancy!
