Chef Yo has a personal touch to her food and services that makes it shine above the rest! Nuksys provided food for multiple work events I was planning and they were detail-oriented, clear, kind, and provided delicious food!! Their staff went above and beyond to ensure our events went great!! If you are thinking about ordering their food, DO IT!! Thank you, Chef Yo! -

Chef Yo and her staff are fantastic! Working with Chef Yo from the beginning was seamless, from setting up tastings to execution on our wedding day. Kris and I had trouble finding a caterer but was recommended to Chef Yo, and she exceeded our expectations hands down. When putting together our menu for the wedding, she was able to advise on what selections paired well together and what quantities were needed for passed appetizers. After the wedding, our guests said how pleased they were with the food selections and even the late-night snacks! I would highly recommend Chef Yo and her team for any event as she brings expertise and, most importantly, delicious food! -

Chef Nuksy's and her staff were on point with the food, decor, and outstanding service. From the beginning, chef personally met with my planner and I to hear my vision and work with my budget. I previously attended another event she catered and had a chance to see her work prior to booking her. She did not disappoint. Before I did my first look, I had to cut through my reception venue and just about cried by how beautifully coordinated the chairs and linens were laid out. During my husband and I's private time to eat, I smelled steak being grilled and was TAKEN by how I had never heard of meal prepping before being served. My husband and I come from a background of picky eaters and restaurant investors, so it was pleasant to hear all of the amazing feedback about how delicious the food, deserts, and cupcakes were. Nuksy's cake was PERFECT because it had the right amount of sweetness we love and decorated just the way I wanted it. The bartending service was also so sweet, and the servers were very attentive. I highly recommend Nuksy's catering for decor, service, and true homemade cooking. Thank you chef Nuksy for making my wedding perfect and memorable! -

User2584486 Sent on 04/21/2016Absolutely fantastic....so glad I found Chef Yo and her A-team! I found them on weddingwire.com and they had wonderful reviews so I took a chance and hired them. I hired them for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner.
The food (basil chicken, london broil, mashed potatoes, green beens, and bread) was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed it and raved. We had 4 children and Chef Yo made chicken fingers for them and when it was time to eat, she plated all of them, added ketchup to their plates and made sure they had everything they wanted. Chef Yo and her A-team set the tables with the linens, chargers and silverware and it was beautiful! Chef Yo and her team had the salads all set and then began to plate and serve everyone. They filled drinks and cleared away as people finished eating.
I had Chef Yo make a cake and she suggested adding the photo of the bride and groom to the cake. It was beautiful.
Chef Yo was very communicative with emails and answered every email I sent. Even when she was slammed with other catering, she made time for me. I will definitely use Nuksy's catering and Chef Yo again! -

We picked her food before we met her, and once we got the opportunity to meet her in person it was the icing on the cake. She takes such great pride in her work. She cooks from her heart. We are so fortunate that she is a preferred vendor for our venue. We are exceedingly glad that we had the opportunity to work with her! -

Unique Sent on 06/08/2012Ms Yolonda....or Chef Yo....boy do I love her and her wonderful hand in the kitchen! It was very important for us to find a catering company who was not only available but professional, timely, communicable, and deliverable. We wanted good food that was not ridiculously out of our budget and Ms Yolonda was the one. We started working with her very early and our wedding menu was not the typical menu and I owe her all the thanks. She cared enough to listen, plan and execute every little thing and was I a happy bride. Our guests raved on and on about how delicious the food was and that made me even happier. With my husband and his family being from Louisiana, the food had to taste good because anything else wouldnt work and Nuksy's fine catering scored 10 across the board. The food was delicious, hot, professionally served and the wait staff.....AMAZING!!!! The company was there very early and left later than other vendors to ensure the venue was left in a proper manner. Anytime I had an idea/question/concern, Chef Yo was right there to answer every question/phone call/email/text and I appreciate it! Sometimes wedding vendors are hard to reach because they are so very busy and its really frustrating to the couple planning the wedding but I didnt experience this with Chef Yo! This is why she will be the point of contact for any future event!!!!

Rachel Sent on 07/10/2012Nuksys Fine Catering....thank you for proving A+ food and beverage service on our wedding day. Chef Yolanda was a joy to work with. Chef Yolanda worked with us just a few months before our wedding after we had left a previous caterer. When we first met Chef Yolanda she had a few of her top menu items ready for us to taste at her place of business. The food at Nuksys is delicious and the tea...OMG the tea....is absolutely amazing. Overall we are so happy that we selected Nuksys for our wedding day. Before the wedding, Chef Yolanda was there at my venue with me and my planner reviewing the floor plan and coming up with a game plan for the big day. We did buffet style with servers for immediate family only. Everything turned out great and the buffet lines moved with so much ease. Thanks again for everything. BTW....the appetizers are amazing and the chicken dishes and scalloped potatoes are super yummy.
