We had the pleasure of working with Imtiaz and his team for all four of our wedding celebrations, and their energy, enthusiasm, and kindness made the entire experience truly enjoyable. This was our second time working with Nu-Trendz and it was one of the best decisions we made! They truly brought our Bollywood dreams to life. Every single event, from the vibrant haldi to the energetic garba, the elegant mehndi, the breathtaking wedding ceremony, and the dreamy reception - was decorated to absolute perfection. Their attention to detail is unmatched. Every corner, every setup, every backdrop felt intentional and magical. Imtiaz uncle and his team did a phenomenal job in decorating our holud and nikah events. When I went to their store in Ashburn, VA, Imtiaz uncle was very patient in showing me around their inventory and he helped me get a better understanding about how the decoration of our venue. On both of the events, their team came to the venue on time and finished decorating before our event started. Imtiaz uncle was also present to make sure everything was going smooth. They also surprised us with fun table decorations. I would recommend you get their service for any event you are going to have. -

Imtiaz, the owner took special care in decorating this event as if it was his own family member's wedding. He guided us through the design from the very beginning and presented various options within our budget. He was very cordial and professional and worked with all the restrictions in the venue. NuTrendz did an absolute wonderful job on our mendhi, wedding, and nikkah event. The quality and dedication to every detail we asked for in each event went above and beyond what we asked for. Mr. Imtiaz took the time to take us through his showroom and show us designs that worked well with our color schemes and our outfits (my wedding dress) to make sure the decorations complimented it well. I HIGHLY recommend working with the Nutrendz team, especially if you have never had any experience planning your own event. We didn't need to worry for a second during the event knowing how reliable this team is. He surprised us with an amazing entrance without us asking the night before the main event, because he thought it would look great with our wedding theme. Mr. Imtiaz also added extra effects and signs to make each event customized and more special than the one before. We were astonished with the work ethic and creativity. The team always goes above and beyond what you ask for. We could not have asked for a better team to work with! -

Extremely pleased with quality of work carried out by Imtiaz (NuTrendz) and his Team. Imtiaz is very Friendly, very reliable and would highly recommend NuTrendz to everyone.
Imtiaz has been punctual and courteous. He is very tidy and his workmanship is excellent. If he finds any extra decorating bits that need doing he just gets on and does them rather than ignoring them. I will definitely use him again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. He stayed on top of the entire event and assisted us in planning and coordinating other wedding tasks such as recommending us for selecting DJ, photographer, videographer and went extra mile to help us throughout the process. -

We hired Mr. Imtiaz from Nu Trendz Events for our daughter’s wedding and they covered our three events at Hilton hotel.Imtiaz bhai was so professional and listened to all our needs.We really like each and every small detailing of how he did everything.
There was so many beautiful surprises for us as well like he did beautiful decorations with California lights on baraat day and many more. The stages were looking absolutely fantastic.
The decorations were better than what we expected and what was promised. We would definitely recommend it to others.❤️❤️ -

Amazing Decor
Imteyaz uncle of Nu-Trendz did an amazing job that left us speechless. For our wedding we had a combined indoor and outdoor venue and he was able to make 2 separate stages, one traditional and one rustic, both of which were beyond amazing. He even brought fountains to place in the pool at the venue which was an amazing touch. Most importantly he is an incredibly kind and caring person who listened to and accommodate anything we asked for. Exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend! -

Imtiaz and Farah were very eager to take us on as clients and spoke to us very endearingly the whole time. We used their services for 4 wedding events. We had several meetings with them to discuss our vision, and sent them exact photos of inspirations as requested by them. Our contract was discussed and refined several times. While there were good parts to the final decoration that was delivered, they fell short in quality, even though they promised a lot more. Here is a detailed pro and con list for couples who may be considering their service in the future:
Pro:
- Imtiaz and Farah are highly responsive, will promptly communicate on Whatsapp or private message, and also call multiple times to convince you of their abilities and services
- They are open to ideas and feedback, and will promise to deliver.
- They pricing is very reasonable, and will ensure they are not over charging you for the vision
- They are punctual
- They will try to include surprise elements to make you happy
- For 2 out of 4 events, they did a great job setting up the stage and guest decors, and their centerpieces were very beautiful. Our guests appreciated the rotating centerpieces in the reception very much.
Cons -
- While they are highly communicative, I found myself having to reassure and repeat myself multiple times, and still found issues on the final days. For example we had clearly stated that we needed a riser stage for the civil ceremony but it was not provided.
- The decoration quality was poor and did not look lavish at all. It looked like the materials used for the false flowers was quite cheap. For 2 out of 4 events, the decor quality was cheap and was noticed by guests as well. The workers in the team did not look like they were invested in executing the vision. A potential reason for this was that Imtiaz did not hire sufficient help, and also did not plan properly for the amount of work that was requested. For eg. chair and table setup was clearly mentioned in the contract and discussed over video call and whatsapp, but he still needed confirmation 1 hour before the event about whether or not chairs and tables were to be set up. This led to time being stolen away from making the backdrop look pretty.
The civil ceremony on the next day also was a big letdown in terms of decor quality. Imtiaz mentioned that he would blow our minds away, but the final product did not even match the very simple arch we had requested. As a rational customer, I expect a clear discussion of what is or is not possible. When we went to the site visit, we showed him the exact location for the arch, and the colors we were expecting. We wanted a fall colour themed arch with plenty of flowers, but what we received was a green arch iwth very minimal florals, and the colors resembled more of an Indian flag than Fall. We were lucky that the venue was extremely beautiful and the decor falling short was not too noticeable. Similarly, the appetizers locations was barely set up with 2 crooked umbrellas. Additionally, the stage for the live musicians was covered poorly and not adequately decorated.
Imtiaz mentioned to us in advance that we would need to make our own wedding signage, and he would provide the easels. We provided the foam boards with the signs, but he did not set up the easels - instead the bride and groom were setting it up 5 minutes before guests arrived.
In general, having walked through the venue, Imtiaz should have realized that he needed more labourers and accordingly informed us. We would have been willing to pay extra for labour had we known his execution may fall short. The lack of hired help also meant that we was running late to finish the decor on both of the major events that we cared about.
Overall, I would recommend NuTrendz for small indoor events with smaller budgets, and simple design visions, as I am not convinced they did a better job than me and a couple of friends could have. Even with me checking with them multiple times. I felt quite letdown for the major events that I cared about. -

Did not deliver what was requested
We spoke about a colorful design for my mehndi with decorative tables and vibrant colors. That day we spoke I had one percent charge on my phone and he wouldn’t let me leave until I made the payment. On the day of he delivered a completely different design. No decorations on the tables, the stage is obviously not even distinctly close to what we spoke about. Very stressful when this kind of change occurs on the day of and nothing can be done to fix it last minute. Steer with caution with Imtiaz, as I had very high hopes and was oversold and underdelivered - I had really really wished I wouldn’t have to write this review, but the lack of response and carelessness causes much disappointment. -
