My husband and I had our delayed wedding reception at Nova 535 in May of 2022 (after getting married in a private ceremony in November 2021), and we could not have been happier with how it turned out. Our coordinator April and the whole team brought our vision to life and allowed the evening to flow seamlessly and beautifully. I really cannot overstate how incredible April and the whole Nova team was. First of all, the venue is gorgeous and so versatile. It has the industrial chic vibe that I love and is beautiful to start, so any decorations are just a bonus. It's really the perfect spot in that it includes dressing rooms and both indoor and outdoor spaces, so you can make your day however you want it. We got so many compliments on the space and how beautiful everything looked. The decor and set up was so easy thanks to April and the team. Everything looked exactly how I imagined it, but better. The Nova team and their preferred vendors are outstanding. April made me feel at ease from the moment we first spoke, but especially the afternoon and night of our reception. She was an absolute rockstar and I'll never be able to thank her enough for taking care of us and executing the whole night flawlessly. I was so nervous about how everything would turn out because we were doing things so unconventionally (and showing several videos including video of our wedding ceremony and a video of the speech given by my husband's parents' who live outside the country) but April, our tech whiz Chris, and our DJ Jaey pulled it all off perfectly and on time. Because of Nova's great system of using preferred vendors, there was very little I had to do - essentially after I hired them they all coordinated amongst themselves and required very little from me. The process really was so easy, and the result so amazing. I planned it all without a wedding planner and from a distance (I'm originally from St. Pete but live in North Carolina now) and the online portal and google drive system made everything so unbelievably easy and low stress. I honestly never thought I could plan and execute a wedding, but thanks to April and the Nova team, I was able to, and it turned out even better than I envisioned it. If you want a beautiful, low stress wedding with outstanding staff and vendors. do yourself a favor and have it at Nova 535. -

Had our wedding there this past weekend (May 2025) and cannot recommend this venue enough! We are from Virginia, so were fully relying on the wonderful reviews NOVA 535 had, and the venue did not disappoint! The team is wonderful to work with. The virtual tour you can access ahead of time lets you see so much that we truly felt comfortable booking our wedding there without seeing the place in person. The wedding coordinators are fantastic- we loved working with April and AJ and they made the experience that much better. -

Nova and its staff did an all around flawless job in hosting our wedding. From planning to execution, we had a wonderful experience. Our guests all said it was one of the coziest and chillest weddings they have ever attended. Nova made everything so memorable and incredibly easy and stress free. Location is perfect. DJ Jaey was amazing. Vendors all worked out perfectly. Thank you Nova for making our dream wedding come true!!! -

Yes a thousand times over I would recommend Nova 535 to any couple looking for a beautiful venue for their wedding in St. Pete. AJ and her team made the day of the wedding the most stress free experience for us. They took care of everything from decorations, set up, clean up, and everything in between. All of the staff were extremely friendly and charismatic. They made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed and more. If you are ever in need of a venue for a wedding or other event I highly, highly recommend Nova! -

Absolutely perfect venue!
We got married at Nova 535 and it was absolutely perfect. We were able to have our ceremony and reception all in one location and use the food trucks and other vendors we wanted. The staff was so friendly and helpful every step along the way. Last but certainly not least their recommended DJ Jaey was beyond fantastic! We wish we could give more than 5 stars and highly recommend!

My husband and I was extremely thankful to have our wedding at this beautiful venue! Our wedding was a destination wedding, so everything planning wise was done virtually or by pictures. We had a venue in place a few months before our wedding but we never saw it in person. When we finally had an opportunity to come down to Florida from Georgia, we went to the previous venue and hated it...it was so run down and just terrible. My fiancée at the time and I was completely lost and did not know what to do. We had planned our whole event around this venue, and it was not what we were looking for AT ALL. I immediately went looking for a beautiful space at 4 am the morning we were going to leave and I came across NOVA 535. I knew that we HAD to come see it because it was so beautiful in pictures! We were able to see the venue so we went there that same day. Firstly, we LIVED for the murals on the wall leading up to the venue. I already had a great feeling about the venue because of the feel of the atmosphere. As soon as we stepped foot into the courtyard with the bamboo and lights...we already knew that NOVA 535 was for us. We immediately fell in love with it and we had not even went inside. When we went inside however..we were BLOWN AWAY. It was so beautiful and it was not even set up at all. Fast forwarding, my husband and I immediately told the manager of our interest and we went into the planning processes. From
the very beginning, they worked with us every step of the way on every aspect, especially planning wise. The pricing was also very fair because this venue is so beautiful and worth every penny. The spacing was gorgeous and finally on the day of our wedding, we were able to see our reception space for the first time...it was set up sooooo beautifully to the point of happy tears! We had worked hard for a year to make this reception happen and to see everything happen right before our eyes was breath taking! We also had a smaller guest count for our wedding however you could not even tell due to how it was set up! It was so intimate and beautiful. However I know this venue can host even more people due to the size and space! I will edit this post with more pictures once they come back!
You can literally have both your ceremony and reception here, however, my husband and I decided to have our wedding on Treasure Islandbeach, then used Rollin' Retro's bus transportation to transport the wedding party and guests back and forth between the Nova and the beach. We want to thank Mr. Mike, Ms. April, and EVERY SINGLE ENTITY who made our dreams come true. We love you guys so much and you are apart of our family!!
If you are looking for a venue in St. Petersburg, you better not look any further than Nova 535!!! Thank you so much, Nova 535!!!!

Outstanding!
I knew I wanted to get married at Nova many years before I was engaged. I was born and raised in Kenwood, so Nova just feels like home to me since it’s part of my community. I had the chance to go to a Cocktail Tasting there a few years ago and fell in love. Ruby was very responsive on all my emails leading up to the wedding day. When I got passed to April, it was such a wonderful experience and this woman knows how to run a wedding! The whole day was like a dream, they were so coordinated and on point with so many things, making sure my husband and I were taking care of! April even help me change into my reception shoes! If I wanted something tweaked with decor or any detail, she was on it. My wedding day was perfect. My guest are still talking about how wonderful the wedding was. I would do it all again in moment with confidence knowing they took great care of myself, husband and guests! -

Best Venue in in the whole Bay Area!!
Venue was perfect for our Wedding! The indoor/outdoor atmosphere allowed us to create a special night. Their team was able to keep all 150 of our guest totally satisfied. Can't say enough about how great it was!! -

We got married at Nova 535 in March 2023. The journey all the way up to the day of was Stress free. They communicated beautifully and executed our dream ceremony and reception the day of. ❤️ Rain forecast was calling for 90% rain the day of out wedding which was to be outside in the Bamboo Courtyard.. after 17 months of planning an outdoor wedding, we decided to move the ceremony inside. The Venue nailed the execution and It was GORGEOUS! We could not have been happier! We did food trucks (this Venue is PERFECT for food trucks and they were a huge hit!)
We worked with April most of the way and she is super sweet and knowledgeable. 15/10 recommend Nova for any event! -

Planning a wedding is a lot but Nova535 was with us every step. They worked with us and made sure our special day was that and more. The venue is breath taking and words can’t describe the staff. They are friendly and engaged with our guest and made them feel like they were at home and not just at another event. -

If you’re considering this venue for your wedding….do it, you won’t be disappointed!! Ruby and April were fantastic to work with throughout the process, and provided very quick responses to all of my questions and concerns. April was my “day of” coordinator, and I can’t say enough good things about her! She kept everything running smoothly and on time. If there were any problems, we didn’t know about them! She really made sure everything was perfect for our special day. The venue itself is really beautiful and unique, we got so many compliments from our guests on what a cool place it is. I would highly recommend this venue, especially if you’re looking for something a little different than a barn or a banquet hall. -

Nova 535 was perfect for our wedding! The team at Nova made everything so easy, and our day was seamless. The indoor/ outdoor concept was great, and the bamboo garden was gorgeous for photos! The lighting is fantastic, the decor is awesome, (and a lot included in the price) and the Nova team is wonderful! Our bartenders day of felt like old friends, and the in house DJ, DJ Jaey, is AMAZING! Don't think twice about planning your wedding at Nova! -

Absolutely amazing
This venue was unreal. Our day of planner, April, made the day so easy for us. They helped get everything set up, switched the room over from the ceremony to the reception. Worked great with all our venders. I don’t think I had an empty drink in my hand all night. Our bartenders were amazing with the open bar. Our guests were well taken care of, everyone enjoyed the corn hole and jenga outside in the gorgeous courtyard. It was an absolutely amazing day made possible with the outstanding event staff. We planned this wedding in about 60 days and I would do it all over again at Nova. -

Beautiful venue… pricey but worth it!
We booked the month before the start of the pandemic, which obviously threw a wrench in the planning. They worked with us even through a one year postponement and covid concerns and Ruby was really responsive and helpful. -

I photographed a wedding at this venue and can't speak highly enough about the experience. The venue as a whole is stunning inside and out. The exterior is unique and colorful while also being spacious whether your event is small or large. The interior is wide open with high ceilings and two floors. And I especially loved the lighting in the outdoor space that added an extra touch for the couple exiting. The venue team was also great at communicating with us throughout the event. We highly recommend them! -

The vibe of Nova is amazing. It’s got lots of great space (indoor and out). Great for small or big weddings! Everyone was super helpful and accommodating the day of to ensure we stayed on track. We had an absolute blast!! Highly recommend. -

We loved working with NOVA for our wedding. Our day of coordinator Stephany was amazing in the planning process - had an answer for every question, helped to set everything up perfectly on the day of, and truly made everything run so smoothly. We also loved DJ Jaey! Our guests were really out on the dance floor thanks to him. Plus all of the NOVA staff were incredibly friendly and helpful!!! They helped set up and take down everything as well as just making sure everything went smoothly. Overall our day went perfectly and I really think the venue staff were the reason! -

Perfect Venue for a St Pete destination wedding!
Nova 535 is a hidden gem. From the moment we entered the courtyard, we knew we wanted to get married there. Ruby made the planning process seamless and there was a ton of room for our guests to feel spaced out during covid. We were able to bring our favorite restaurant, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, in to handle our catering and the dueling piano players from Felix and Fingers had plenty of space to create the fun atmosphere we wanted. Our guests were impressed with everything about the venue and the proximity to the hotels of downtown St Pete made it easy for everyone to uber and enjoy themselves! -
