Mrs. Lynn is AMAZING!!!! With all the stress of planning a wedding in 9 months, I didnt need anymore stress and was worried about the cake and the price, as we had a small budget. I read about "Nothing Better Than Cake" on facebook and figured I'd contact them. This was the BEST decision we made!!!! Our consultation was not rushed, she made us feel at ease and confident that we would walk away with our dream cake. We has various flavors to taste and all were equally as yummy. She was very thorough with questions about what we did and didn't like. By the end the of the consultation, we had the most beautiful cake UNDER our price range! The cake was so pretty we didnt want to cut it at the wedding. Our family and friends talked about it for months after. I HIGHLY recommend "Nothing Better Than Cake"! You won't be disappointed

We loved her cake so much that we had pre-gamed the week before the wedding with a large cupcake order! The wedding cake was STUNNING and delicious! We loved the red velvet with cream cheese filling and white almond with raspberry filling.

Lynn did a fantastic job with our cake. It turned out to be even more beautiful than I had pictured in my mind, and it was exactly what we wanted it to be. The flavor was delicious, and very moist. She also has beautiful silver cake stands, and we used one of those at the last minute, which saved us a potential headache. I hate cake toppers, and she was able to come up with an alternative decoration that tied into our theme and colors, and was just the right thing. I would absolutely recommend Lynn and Nothing Better Than Cake.

Our cake was even better looking than the picture I had shown as an example! We got so many compliments on the cake as well it was beautiful and tasted good! Thank you for all of your hard work

I cannot tell you enough how amazing our cake was. How BEAUTIFUL our cake was. From the teal ombre frosting, to the gold ribbon, and the magnolias made especially by Lynn; everything was beautifully crafted and just perfection. The coconut cake was moist and amazing, not too sweet, because the buttercream was just sweet enough to tie everything together. It was all so perfect. I loved it all.

My original cake person fell through and when I found this company it was better than I imagined. We requested a custom superhero cake with our favorite superheroes as cake toppers and she put everything together including a tasting in less than a month! I absolutely love this company and the cake was amazing!

Lynn at Nothing Better Thank Cake in Virginia Beach makes the most beautiful cakes! They are as beautiful as they are delicious!!! Lynn is so dependable and easy to work with! We loved every bite of our wedding cake!

Lynn did such a great job on our cake. It was absolutely beautiful! She doesn't charge a cake tasting fee or a delivery fee. I love her!

We were so happy with the final results of our desserts! The guests all enjoyed the sweet treats, and took some home at the end of the night. We went with cupcakes and a little cake to cut, and the flowers Lynn created for the cupcakes were gorgeous. It all matched the flowers from the table decorations and colors. From the cake tasting to the end of the night she was incredibly professional and a delight to work with. We even considered changing the cake flavor at the last minute (but stayed with the original plan), and she was very patient and communicative with us.

Lynn did a fantastic job with our wedding cake! She listened to our ideas and made a cake that my guests found to be very unique. It fit the theme perfectly which was trees/nature. I didn't even need to worry about a cake topper because she had some leaves and pine cones on the top of the cake. This made it even more beautiful and less traditional. The guests were raving about how delicious the cake was, too. I highly recommend the almond flavor!

Lynn did an amazing job making my beach-themed cupcake tower. It was not only affordably priced, but also delicious and exactly what I envisioned. She is very prompt, reliable, and talented. We can't wait to taste it again in 1 year when she makes us our anniversary cake.

Our wedding cake was absolutely perfect! It looked exactly like the photo that we provided and it tasted amazing. There isn't anything that could have made it any better. Every single one of our guests raved about the cake, for both the beauty and the delicious taste! It was perfect, simply perfect. I would order a thousand more wedding cakes from Nothing Better Than Cake.

Lynn is a great woman to deal with! She has a lot of experience; all I had to do was give her my ideas and decide on the flavors and she took care of the rest! Going with Nothing Better Than Cake was absolutely worry free!

Lynn did an AMAZING job! She was wonderful to work with and very organized as well as prompt in responding to any questions we had. I gave her a picture of what I envisioned for our wedding cake and the grooms cake and her work far exceeded my expectations. They were beautiful and delicious!

Lynn with Nothing Better Than Cake! LLC was AMAZING!!! My mother, brother, fiance, and I went for a cake tasting in February 2013 - best cake tasting out of 3 we did. Lynn was reasonably priced and provided the most options for cake designs. Not only did she make our fondant, 3-tier wedding cake, but also has made 6 dozen mini cupcakes decorated with chocolate seashells for a family birthday party.

Our wedding cake had hand-crafted calla lilies & roses, fondant lace accents on each tier, and three yummy flavors. She also setup and decorated our cake table beautifully. Delicious cake and excellent service!!

Nothing Better Than Cake offered us the best service possible in my opinion. They went above and beyond to serve us in the best way they could. They were quick to respond to e-mails, went out and purchased lighting for the display of the cake, as well as a few other things that caused them to stand out from their competitors. Also the cake was decorated beautifully as well as tasted delicious.

I had a beach themed wedding and Nothing Better than Cake did amazing, more than perfect job with creating the cake of our dreams! I loved her professionalism, sincere compassion, and passion in baking. Highly recommend!

Lynn was amazing. Her cake was delicious, she responded to all emails almost immediately and was extremely professional. She was a rare find and we were more than pleased with her. We will use her again for sure!!

The cake was beautiful, and it tasted amazing. The cupcakes stole the night! Every bit of the cake and all the cupcakes were eaten, nothing was left!!! I completely support Nothing Better Than Cake, and would highly recommend for any future brides :)

Nothing Better Than Cake provided a gorgeous, custom cake for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary that consisted of three beautiful tiers in three flavors of cake with fillings! We had almond, chocolate with cherry and lemon with a lemon custard. They were all superb, but think lemon was surprisingly my favorite. Everyone oohed and awed over the design and flavor and Lynn worked with us on colors and design. Would definitely recommend.
