My husband and i used just 2 months to plan our wedding and our major challenge at that point was which vendor would be able to meet our expectations and our budget. We wanted a very simple but classy wedding with few people. We reviewed the Northstar wedding budget and we realized it was way above ours but we still gave it a shot. To my surprise, Alisha replied the same day and she was able to work with our budget and still get us all that we've ever dreamed of! We later got to work with Nate who also went out of his way to make the ceremony and reception exceptional! The planning and effort he put in was way above our expectation. He was with us all through and made sure our guests were okay and had everything they needed. Everybody was happy at the end and my husband and i also had our dream wedding!

We had a beautiful wedding reception and photography session at NorthStar. The venue is absolutely stunning. Our guests really enjoyed the lower patio for the cocktail hour and how good the food was. If you want an affordable wedding at a place that has great staff, food, and a beautiful setting then look no further than NorthStar golf club.

Our wedding and rehearsal dinner were held in August 2019 in NorthStar. We had a great experience working with them. They have done everything exactly the same as our plan. So on time and professional. The venue is really beautiful. All of my friends loved it and took many pictures. I really recommend the place for wedding.

I want to start by saying that Northstar is beautiful on the inside and out and I couldn’t have imagined having my wedding anywhere else. Alisha and Nate both helped us so much and we’re always so friendly and patient throughout the whole planning process! They were always so quick to reply to any of our messages and were accommodating to our needs and wants. They made sure the reception area was decorated just how we wanted and they took care of cleaning everything up after! Not to mention the food was delicious and I got lots of great feedback from friends and family about it as well. We couldn’t have been more pleased working with Alisha and Nate and would absolutely recommend this venu to anyone looking for a amazing place to spend their special day!

Nate and Alisha were both amazing! They were responsive, super helpful, had great ideas, accommodating to our needs, and also caring about our big day! The food was great and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. The value for what we received was unmatched.

North Star did not let rain ruin our special day! They went above and beyond to accommodate the wedding party and our guests! This venue is nothing short of amazing!

My experience at Northstar Golf Club was a 10 star rating if I could give that! The whole staff made my day come together from the very beginning to end! The place is beyond beautiful and so many great spots for the beautiful pictures you will forever want! We had last minute changes and the staff was there to guide us in the right direction so everything flowed smoothly! The food was amazing and Im still getting reviews on how great it was! And not to mention the decorations! I just told them what I wanted and they made it better than I ever imagined! All of the staff were beyond great! We worked together and they became like family throughout the process! They not only helped before and during the wedding but they even took time after the wedding to contact us to ask how our honeymoon was! I cant suggest Northstar enough!

I could not have asked for a better wedding day thanks to the staff and venue. I have gotten so many compliments on how much fun our wedding was and how great the venue and staff was!

We got married at Northstar in April. I spent almost 10 months in constant contact with Alisha planning every detail down to the tiniest detail and everything was EXACTLY how I wanted it. They made my vision for our wedding a reality while taking as much stress away from my husband and myself and still keeping us on budget! No nickel and dime, no over the top wedding update, just an honest, straightforward experience.

We recently had our wedding and rehearsal dinner at NorthStar. The staff was so great! Valeria was very helpful and worked out every detail with us. (And I had a lot of questions.) She was patient with my questions and did not try to push me into expensive "extras". She was awesome. We got many compliments on the beautiful venue and delicious food from our guests. Many people did not know of this hidden gem just north of Columbus. One of the reasons we chose this venue is because it had a beautiful room for a back up in case the weather did not cooperate. Luckily it did and I had a perfect outdoor wedding. It was more than I could have asked for! It is a perfect venue for a wedding.

I cannot find enough words of gratitude to really express my appreciation for all your hard work, patience, talent, kindness, love of job, well I could just go on and on. A Daughters wedding is something you dream about from the moment they come into you life. You start dreaming and planning the day from their first precious moments. Your ability to see our vision and to execute it without a flaw is well something I consider quite a gift. I am so impressed with your work ethic as I know because I saw it how hard your worked to make the day so magically perfect.

The North Star Staff could not have been better, they smiled with every request. I believe that "attitude reflects leadership" this is a huge complement to you and your ability to teach them your processes.

Alisha Yoder and the team at NorthStar Gold Club were wonderful to work wtih on all fronts. Great facility, great food, accomodating to special diets/needs. We had a wonderful wedding and also GREAT backgrounds for wedding photos. We received many compliments from our guests and our other vendors on how nice NorthStar was and how easy they were to work with (from the vendors). The bathrooms were spic and span clean, roomy, and clean. We have already recommended NorthStar to several couples and I know one couple has booked. A wonderful experience, thank you NorthStar!

Had my reception at NorthStar this summer and can't say enough about how smoothly everything went. The staff was awesome and the venue was beautiful.

I had to ceremonies at this location. This was one of the best decisions I made. It's an absolutely gorgeous location. Alicia is extremely responsive, thorough. She is an amazing wedding planner and took a load off my wife as well as me. With us having both an Indian and and American ceremony, the venue had to accommodate a couple of our request that can definitely be said as unusual, and they were more than willing to help us out in anyway possible.

We definitely checked out, more than a dozenwedding venues And compared the prices as well. This was definitely more reasonable than most of the other venues With the overall quality being way better.

If I have to do everything all over again, I won't change anything.

If you choose northstar as your venue, you're definitely in good hands.

We could not have made a better decision in picking North Star Golf Club for our daughter's wedding. They provided great assistance with planning the wedding, recommending vendors and offering up suggestions for the perfect wedding. Our guests gave the food rave reviews and we even heard a comment that it was the best wedding food ever. Kind, courteous staff that were willing to help in everyway. I highly recommend Northstar Golf Club for your wedding.

NorthStar and Alicia were wonderful from start to finish! Alicia was always very quick to respond to my questions and worked with us to make our dream wedding come to life! The food was amazing, and so was our blueberry lemonade signature cocktail. The staff was very attentive and kind, one waitress even brought appetizers out to where we were taking pictures so this starving bride could eat something! I would highly recommend NorthStar to any couple!

NorthStar Golf Club is a great place to hold any type of an event especially a wedding. Alisha, the F&B Director, was beyond helpful through the entire planning process. The venue is beautiful both inside and out. It rained on our wedding day so we were unable to have our ceremony outside, but Alisha and her team made sure the inside was just as beautiful. The food was delicious and we had many compliments from our guests. I highly recommend any bride and groom to choose NorthStar for their special day!

We loved the venue the moment we walked in. Alisha did a great job showing us around and giving us all the details we were looking for. She was very enthusiastic and positive and that made a big impact in our decision because we had been to many other venues where people just seemed unhappy. I had my mind made up at the end of our first visit.
The venue is beautiful and looked great on our wedding day. Northstar decorated it just the way we wanted. Everything looked perfect, classy and beautiful. We used Northstar's centerpieces on half of our tables and the staff did an excellent job arranging them exactly how we wanted.
The food was outstanding! We had chicken kiev and lasagna for our main course. Everyone loved it.
They also have a full bar which was just awesome. The open bar was great. We had the call liquor (not premium) option and were not disappointed with the quality of the brands they selected. It included a complimentary champagne toast and many different kinds of beer on tap. They also put a mini bar outside for our cocktail hour.
The staff is very nice and easy to work with. My bridesmaids and I got ready at the venue and the staff did everything they could to accommodate any requests we had.
We could go on and on about all the great things they did and how perfect our wedding day was, but we would be here for a while...

Northstar was an excellent venue for our wedding event. From planning one year in advance to the actual evening of the event everything went as scheduled. Our guests commented how much they enjoyed the ceremony being held outside on the grounds and the reception being held inside so they didn't have to travel. EVERYONE loved the buffet dinner. My daughter, the bride, felt very relaxed the day of the event and keeps saying that it was indeed the "best day of her life". Our event planner at Northstar, Alisha was professional, available and very attentive to before and throughout the special day.

I absolutely loved my wedding at NorthStar Golf Club! On the day of my wedding I didn't have to do a thing and Alisha handled everything. I got to enjoy the day. The staff was great and very attentive! It was everything I dreamed it would be and more thanks to Northstar!

we had our wedding here on August 10, 2013 and it was EXACTLY how we envisioned it! After looking at tons of different facilities my husband and I saw ourselves constantly comparing them all to North Star. Not only is the facility gorgeous but the service was extraordinary as well. People raved about the food and loved the staff. The woman, Alicia, in charge of food and beverage is such a delight. she was constantly working to serve and make our day exactly the way we wanted as she would frequently ask "well what do you want?" (and you better believe she did exactly that). She actually unfortunately got hurt setting up for our event but I had no idea as the woman who took over for her did just as great of a job! I HIGHLY recommend North Star as we absolutely loved our wedding there.

Alisha and the North Star team did an amazing job from when we walked in there and decided to use them to the food tasting to the rehearsal and finally the big day! The food was fantastic and everything went absolutely perfect! The wedding was more than I could imagine and my guests were more than pleased! They give you so many options that you can really make it your own special day and the set up and tear down was easy as cake!! I couldn't imagine using any other venue - and Alisha Howell helped it come to life!!

Reception was beautiful!! Everything was placed exactly how we envisioned and all we had to do was drop it off! Facility was elegant for the reception and the staff was excellent! As a parent of the groom I could not have asked for anything better! Highly recommend. Food was awesome also!

Alisha was great! We had our ceremony and reception at NorthStar....and even with the major rainstorm that came through right at ceremony time...they made it perfect!!

I was very pleased that we had chosen NorthStar Golf Club for my daughter's wedding in March. We had both the ceremony and reception there and Alisha was so accommodating. She always responded quickly to my inquiries and their "off-season" rates were very reasonable. The food was wonderful, both the appetizers and dinner. We had so many comment from guests about how great the food was! This venue also has some really good views for the photographer and the staff had everything looking lovely. Alisha and Carly kept things running smoothly. The venue is in a great location - close proximity to the freeway, hotels and restaurants for the "out-of-towner's". I definitely recommend NorthStar!!

Everything for our wedding was perfect! The staff was great. One young lady was sweet enough to make sure my grandpa was doing ok the entire night!

Alisha is the event coordinator and was such a huge help. She was quick at responding to us and anytime we asked for changes she was very flexible! She made for a stress free wedding day!!

We had our reception at North Star and they did an amazing job. We wanted an outside reception with water to have a tropical, beach, laid back summer party feeling, with a back up inside room in case of rain. NorthStar had never had an outside wedding reception before but they were happy to make us their first and they did an AMAZING job. They let us have tiki torches, I rented a chocolate fountan that they managed and they desinged the buffet around our theme to have tropical options, inclusing coconut shrimp, tropical salad and pineapple chichken. The food was delicious. Our guests are still complimenting us on how wonderful our reception was. They catered to our every need, the staff was polite and extremely helpful and they pulled off exactly what we wanted our wedding reception to be like. We looked at a lot of venues and for the price and what we wanted for our reception, North Star was way above the rest of the places we visisted and still in our budget. I would Strongly recomment North Star to anybody who is looking for a wedding venue. On top of all of this, they have an extremely gorgeous golf course that provides a beautiful backdrop for photos (my photograper loved the venue).

I was very happy with the service the The NorthStar provided. My reception was beautiful and Alicia and the NorthStar team took care of all the set up and made my visions a reality. The food was excellent, which is most often not the case at weddings. The location was great and my husband and I had a wonderful time, we would highly recommend them to others!

North Star Golf Club provided a beautiful setting at a reasonable cost! We are so very pleased that we chose North Star for our wedding reception. Alisha provided outstanding customer services, answering numerous questions and providing guidance along the planning way. Alisha and her staff pulled our ideas together into a beautiful, well organized evening. We had nothing but compliments about the food, the service and the setting. We used NorthStar Golf Club for our reception venue. I wanted our military wedding to have simple elegance without feeling "stuffy". I was drawn to the dark wood chairs, that didn't need linen coverings and the overall tone of the clubs space. The team at NorthStar was so welcoming to all of our personal touches and did a wonderful job! When we entered our reception for the first time I was blown away with how beautiful everything turned out. Thank you, NorthStar!

The day was perfect. The setting was beautiful. And the reception went off without a hitch. The service was great and Alisha was helpful every step of the way. Any concern I had she was very quick with responses to questions. I am absolutely delighted with the venue. I couldn't have picked a better setting for the best day of my life. I loved working with Alicia and how accommodating they were. The venue is beautiful and we received so many compliments on how good the food was. NorthStar is so great to work with and a perfect place to have your wedding-I have already recommended them. The only issue I had was my husband and I did not have any appetizers saved for us from the cocktail hour like we had requested. Everything else was perfect though!

Dining room and outdoor areas are gorgeous and everyone is so nice. I had a themed wedding and the staff tried to bring in little details to help make it that much more special.

Since the North Star Golf Club was furthest from my house, it was last on our list to visit. I'm so glad we made it up there. The venue is beautiful. The people were very helpful. The food was delicious. It was probably one of the vest food values I found during my research in planning.

On the day of the wedding, they set up all of the decorations and table placements for me. All we had to do was get married. The outdoor ceremony space was lovely. There were several different locations to take photos at.

Just minor negatives. It is a little far from Columbus, but there are hotels near by. I did feel like it was the bartender's job to worry about who was 21 or not, not mine on my wedding day.

All in all, I would recommend the North Star Golf Club.

We would not change a thing about our wedding day! It was everything we could have ever dreamed of and we are so thankful we chose Northstar. We did have a problem though with golfers talking and being very rude during part of our ceremony but when we told management at Northstar they took care of it right away and we appreciated their response to our concern. This was really the only issue we had and although it was very disappointing everything else about our day was flawless!

The North Star Golf Club space was great - my only complaint would be the open access on the day of our event. We had dropped off many of our table decorations, etc. and although a sign was posted indicating the room was closed for a private party, we saw many people walking through the dining area while we were setting up. I understand that North Star should be able to "show" the space to others interested in renting the room, I felt it should NOT have been while we were setting up for our event!

Received many compliments on both the venue and the food. I appreciated the flexability with the menu/bar!

The reception was great. However, the only assistance we received for the ceremony was decorating/setup. I would recommend appointing a friend to help with the ceremony logistics as I wasn't sure when to walk out. I would also recommend that they move all patio tables/umbrellas as we can see them in our ceremony pictures. They also seemed surprised that we wanted to practice for the ceremony the night before.
