My partner and I are DJs ourselves (including doing a few weddings in our area), so we knew exactly what we were looking for in a wedding DJ and MC. After searching far and wide, we couldn't have entrusted our big day to anyone better than Pat. He’s an absolute professional and went above and beyond to make our wedding unforgettable.
From the start, Pat took the time to truly get to know us. He was a calm, organized presence in the midst of the inevitable chaos that comes with wedding planning. His patience, helpfulness, and meticulous attention to detail stood out to us immediately. Pat has a gentle and methodical approach to gathering all the information he needs, ensuring that the night flows seamlessly and feels uniquely yours.
Pat’s sound system is top-notch—crisp, clear, and powerful. The bass was rich and dynamic, and we never had to worry about the music being too quiet or off-balance.
Pats prep work was notable but he also excelled with smoothly adapting unexpected schedule changes (they happen!) When it comes to mixing, Pat’s experience really shines. He is great at reading the crowd and adapting to keeping the energy up. Pat had everyone on their feet the entire night.

North Jersey Entertainment made our wedding reception everything we hoped it would be - and more!! From our first conversation, they were straightforward about what they could deliver and followed through on every detail. They brought smart suggestions based on what they've learned over the years but never pushed us away from our vision—they listened and gave us exactly what we wanted. Their playlist kept everyone dancing, they surprised us with touches that felt personal, and the energy they brought was infectious. They were also meticulous in coordinating a lot of the specific things we wanted - fog machine, my mother's singing, my brother's sax solo - and also handling things like ceremony and cocktail hour music.
We had the absolute best time, and our guests haven't stopped talking about how great the music and vibe were (literally, had a guest say it was festival-level music!!). If you're looking for a band or DJ that actually cares about making your night special, North Jersey Entertainment is the right choice!! -

We had Pat from NJE as our DJ and We can’t say enough great things about him! From start to finish, he was absolutely incredible and truly made our wedding unforgettable.
Pat kept the energy high all night while still reading the room perfectly. Every song flowed into the next, the dance floor was packed, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. He said yes to all of our crazy requests, balanced our must-play songs with crowd favorites flawlessly and made every moment special.
Beyond the music, Pat was professional, organized, and easy to work with. He helped with the timeline and kept everything running right on schedule without ever feeling rushed.

Pat was absolutely fantastic! Every step of the process from the initial booking all the way to the day of our event was flawless because of him. We had a five year vow renewal after getting married during covid with only our parents present. He was adamant about making our day special and getting the party we deserved. I am so so so thankful for everything he did for us. At the party he was so attentive and checked in throughout the night. All of my guests said he was the best DJ they had ever experienced and I couldn’t agree more. I would highly recommend him for your events - large and small! Pat was perfection from the first inquiry call! He got to know us as a couple and made sure he had the information he needed to tailor our event to us, while providing professional guidance and expertise.
The ceremony was executed seamlessly, despite our non-traditional selections with perfect transitions between songs. The reception was absolutely amazing. We had guests of all ages and Pat made sure to have something for everyone. People that "never dance" were on the dance floor all night and everyone was having a great time.
We opted to add the open air photo booth and are so glad we did! At the end of the night we were handed a copy of all the photos taken out into a scrap book with handwritten messages from our guests. It is a momento we will cherish for every.
Pat and his team really care about their couples and go out of their way to make sure they have the day of their dreams, even if it's not related to music. Pat took it upon himself to notify the venue of a small house keeping issue, which was quickly resolved. As a musician myself, I cannot recommend NJ entertainment enough!! -

Pat was amazing to work with from the very first phone call! By the end of the call we were sure he was the right DJ for us. He made us feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the entire planning process and he is just insanely nice, friendly and trustworthy. NJE has a super easy online portal to help you plan out your music choices and their services are very affordable. We had guests of all ages from 18-90 and we received so many praises about Pat and the music! The only direction we gave him was sharing our go-to party playlist and he took that and perfectly curated an entire night’s worth of music. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!! -

Working with Pat was an absolutely exceptional experience. We had a small backyard wedding at our house and it felt like he was part of the family! He was beyond helpful with everything from the start but especially the day of with keeping things on track with the timeline and craziness of having a wedding at our home and he so accommodating to last minute changes we had to make as well, including postponing our wedding date. I couldn’t recommend him/this company enough. Everyone had a blast and so many of our guests mentioned how much they loved the music and how much fun they had. DJ Pat went above and beyond from Day#1 to get to know us and really understand what we were looking for on our Big Day! Pat was a pleasure to work with and his communication was top notch!! Our meetings to review song selections and schedule for the wedding day were seamless and helped keep us on track! We are so impressed and grateful for the level of professionalism we received for the months leading up to our wedding! And on the Big Day, everything went smoothly - Pat and his team did such a phenomenal job!!! Pat coordinated everything beautifully with the Maitre D and we weren't stressed about anything! Im sooo thankful for Xavier And Nicole! I really wanted dinner to feel like a Sunday Brunch with throwback R&B vibes and they gave me EXACTLY what I envisioned. Xavier then effortlessly switched up the genre and had everyone on their feet dancing after dinner with a mix of Spanish/English/Greek music to satisfy my diverse wedding guest list. Nicole was extremely attentive and understanding throughout the whole planning process and knew exactly how to relieve some stress especially because she was in her bride era at the time too! (So she understands how stressful it can get!) Xavier and Nicole clearly love what they do and they’re great at it. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. My guests could not stop raving about how great the music was that day and I 100% agree. -

Nick and Zach did a 10/10 job with our wedding, and excelled in making us feel prepared, playing the type of music we liked, and keeping the crowd excited. Leading up to the wedding, I felt that Nick had this perfect “can-do” attitude, where no request or no input was too much to ask, and that no matter what, we could figure out anything. We had so much confidence going into our wedding day that I didn’t have any stress about music or hosting, leading to the day going by smoothly and perfectly. They were responsive, made sure that every detail was covered, and made sure the crowd was active without drawing attention to themselves, which kept the party going all night. My husband and I used North Jersey Entertainment, specifically DJ Pat Lyons, to DJ at our August 2024 wedding. We strongly believe that the DJ is one of, if not THE most important wedding vendor because they make the party! From our very first phone call, we knew DJ Pat would be for us. He was kind, patient, and answered all our questions. DJ Pat worked with us to think about and organize each piece of our special day with his expertise and knowledge of not just weddings, but of us! The day was absolutely flawless and so personalized, thanks to him! From the first moment my fiancé and I talked to Pat, we knew we had to go with North Jersey Entertainment for our wedding! Both myself and my now husband being music teachers, we were so happy to work with someone who is so knowledgeable and passionate about the art of DJ'ing. He knows how to read the room, seamlessly segue from one song to the next, entertain, and keep the guests happy and on the dance floor the entire night!
The planning process could not have been easier and more enjoyable. Pat was so so easy to talk to, super personable, and really took the time to get to know us as a couple. He, without a doubt, genuinely cares about each couple he works with. He listened to what our we were envisioning for our wedding and was so flexible and open to new ideas, especially with new songs we were looking to incorporate in our ceremony. He gave amazing suggestions for music and lighting and was more than happy to share suggestions and ideas with us when we weren't sure what exactly we wanted. Everything was so well organized and we were at ease knowing we were in such good hands.
From setup before the ceremony, to the very last moment of the reception, everything ran smoothly. Guests enjoyed all of the music selections throughout the entire wedding and had so much fun with the photobooth. We cannot thank DJ Pat and NJE enough for making our wedding so special and even more perfect than we could have imagined!! They are truly the best of the best!

YOU GUYS. Pat from North Jersey Entertainment was our favorite vendor BY FAR!!!!
First of all, he’s so friendly. Not fake friendly, just genuinely a really nice and honest guy. He listened to everything we wanted and I felt confident from the start that he could and would deliver on what he promised us. Seriously, I booked during our first phone call with him after interviewing with at least 5 other DJs. After we booked, he was there for us whenever we wanted/needed him and always responded promptly (even when he was on a family vacation)! I was a real pest and requested he used music from YouTube videos, MP3s, Apple Music, AND a voice recording. Pat didn’t even bat an eye and made it all happen like it was easy.
Second, the price is right and the quality is 10/10. We all know that while planning a wedding this is big. It can be scary to book with someone without knowing how exactly they do their job, but please trust me when I say that he is experienced, knows exactly what he’s doing, and really got the party going. Not to mention he didn’t try to sell us things we didn’t want or need, which was greatly appreciated and, frankly, a breath of fresh air.
Third, if you’re looking for a more alternative style, he’s got that covered. We did an entire emo hour and he played everything we could have wanted. The crowd loved it so much that my husband, my 63 year old mother, and myself actually crowd surfed (I mean, you can’t make this up). Pat even got the best videos out of everyone of this happening and sent it to us. HOWEVER, if alternative is not your style, NO WORRIES! The other 4 hours of our wedding included music for people of all ages and music tastes, which is exactly what we wanted. I don’t think there was a single person who didn’t dance for at least one song.
Fourth, he acted almost as our day of wedding coordinator. He made sure everything was happening on time, communicated with our other vendors, and checked in on us. Truthfully, I was a bit hesitant about our maître d’ making everything happen the way we wanted, but felt SO much better knowing Pat would be there. He arrives early and is prepared for anything.
I only write reviews like this when someone really deserves it, and let me tell you, Pat MORE than deserves it. Wedding planning is stressful, I get it, but you can officially scratch “find DJ” off your list as soon as you give North Jersey Entertainment a call. Try it, and you’ll immediately know what I mean.

Incredible service and stress free planning!
Pat is the bomb. He was so easy to communicate with throughout the planning process and was always available to answer any of our questions. My husband and I were super specific about what kind of music we did and did not want played throughout the day and he absolutely nailed it. I told him that I loved emo music and found the perfect balance of what we liked and what people would dance to. PERFECT. I heard a few of our guests yell "he's playing nothing but bangers!"
They are so reliable as a company and I did not have an ounce of stress working with NJE. 11/10 would definitely hire them again for a special event! -

Ladies and Gentlemen, listen closely and repeat after me: “I must hire NJE for my wedding entertainment.” Again, but with conviction. “I must hire NJE for my wedding entertainment.” Good. Well done.
Honestly, though, NJE was the easiest decision to make when planning our wedding. It was my initial phone call with Pat that sold me. He was passionate, professional, personable, and did everything within his control to make us happy. He was also the first person to call me the morning after our wedding to congratulate us and to make sure we had a great time. I can’t say enough good things about Pat.
Then, DJ Nickk DeAngelo entered the chat.
I don’t even know where to start with DJ Nickk, other than to say that he was the BEST DJ we could have hoped for to DJ our wedding. On day one of working together, he was willing to drop what he was doing and jump on a video call at 10:30 p.m. because that was the time that worked for me. Nick was prepared and organized during each meeting we had, but more importantly, Nick’s excitement made us excited! And, for good reason—he CRUSHED IT! Our guests were on the dance floor the ENTIRE night and are still talking about how much fun they had. It’s clear that DJ Nickk loves what he does and if you’re lucky enough to have him as your wedding DJ, you couldn’t be in better hands! Thank you, DJ Nickk! —The Sudols -

DJ Pat Lyons was absolutely incredible! He was referred to me through my Best Man, who also worked with Pat for his wedding. Pat's planning process was easy and painless. A couple phone calls to discuss ideas and plans. If we had missed a section on his questionnaire or were still noodling over a decision, he was patient and helped us through. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch. We have been to (what feels like) dozens of weddings these past few years, and have seen a lot of good and a lot of bad wedding DJs. Pat was the absolute best. The sound was on point for the outdoor ceremony, the partially-indoor cocktail hour, and the indoor reception. He was friendly and easy to work with for both us and our other vendors. We will be recommending him to EVERYBODY in need of a DJ! -

If I could give 10 stars, I would!! Pat honestly made our day so much more special from the moment we started wedding planning, up until the last song of the night. He really took the time to listen to us and get to know us. I was so appreciative of his attention to detail; he would ask about specific song changes we'd made in the portal to triple check that we were getting the experience we truly wanted. He was available when we needed him and flexible with planning times to talk, even though we lived in different time zones! On the day itself, he checked in with us to make sure we were having a blast - which we definitely were - and worked beautifully with the staff at our venue. We found Pat with North Jersey Entertainment through a recommendation from our venue. He is amazing!! He spent so much time planning the music selection with the bride and groom to ensure they were happy. The music volume was PERFECT! Even after dinner with a full and joyful dance floor, guests could still hear each other. Excellent communication with the venue maître d, made for seamless transitions between arrival, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, too. Thank you Pat!

Amazing DJ Team
Our wedding was 4/1/22. NJE was fantastic to work with! From the beginning, Kevin was professional and easy to communicate with, we discussed different packages to help fill our needs. He also recommended Xavier and Nicole to DJ our event based on the experience we wanted and they were the perfect fit. Our guests were on the dance floor all night and they did a great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor and engaged. The day of was so hectic for me and I didn’t get a chance to talk with Nicole prior to our ceremony but she was able to talk with our day of coordinator and worked everything out perfectly and seamlessly for our ceremony and cocktail music. Xavier had a great energy and presence the whole night. We only have great things to say and our so happy with decided to go with NJE! Highly recommend their services! We also use their photo booth services and our guests had so much fun! -

DJ Kev and his team were absolutely incredible to work with! Kev diligently walked us through the planning process to ensure that our wedding would go flawlessly (and it did!). He handled everything from music selections and day-of schedules to coordinating with the Maitre'd and vendors on the day-of. His team also did a fantastic job with the "dancing on clouds" effect and helping guests use the photobooth, and both were huge hits. Leading up to the wedding, we looked forward to our conversations with DJ Pat and it was honestly incredibly stress free! Any challenges that came up with our venue and our setup, he never flinched and helped us work through everything. He took the time to do a site visit at our venue in advance to figure out the best possible setup. From The Groom's Perspective: Let me start by saying that I highly recommend NJ Entertainment for your special day. From the jump, Kevin was extremely responsive, caring and enthusiastic. In an industry where you usually get too many NO's they support their clients with a lot of YES. They have flexible packages for any budget and deliver top notch service. Our DJ was Ryan and he was fantastic to work with. Ryan took direction but was also fabulous with song selection and pumping up the crowd. We opted for the VIP package and strongly recommend it. The monogram was beautiful, the photo booth a huge hit and ceremony/cocktail support was perfect. Look no further if you're seeking a DJ for your wedding day. Your bride will thank you! -

We had our wedding at Hotel LBI on 9/18/2021 and North Jersey Entertainment were absolutely worth every penny. We wanted someone that was going to be able to do well with Hispanic/Italian weddings. Xavier and Nicole really made sure that we had all details, and we spoke to them several times via Facetime and it was such an easy and amazing process. They thought of everything, and during the wedding, my husband's grandparents requested their wedding song and a song from Frank Sinatra and they slowed it down for a little bit. My Grandparents in law cannot stop talking about how wonderful it was to have a moment together. Xavier and Nicole really made the night the best day for us, everyone was on that dance floor and I do NOT regret having them as our DJ! A DJ can either make or break a night, and I am happy to say that they helped make this night something we will never forget. Every guest has not stopped talking about how good the music was. We even ended the night with Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and it was the best choice ever.
We also had a photobooth and the people raved about that as well. So happy we ended up doing that! The gentleman at the photobooth personally thanked me when he was closing up for having them come to our event. Really sweet.
I absolutely recommend North Jersey Entertainment for your wedding or any general event. You will absolutely not regret it!!! -

You know it’s an amazing party when your guests spill off the dance floor and find any available space to dance! We wanted a non-stop dance party for our long-awaited wedding, and Pat Lyons more than delivered!! Pat knew exactly which songs to play at the right times to keep the party going - he couldn’t tire us out!! Such an amazingly fun night, and both Pat and Kevin were a pleasure to work with throughout our planning process. Pat is detail-oriented and made sure he delivered on everything we requested. We can’t recommend Pat enough! Make sure you book NJE for your next event - your legs/feet might regret it the next day, but you surely won’t!! -

NJE was so easy to deal with, they were able to accommodate our date switch due to covid! Xavier and Nicole were amazing and dealt with our last minute details without any issues. Even made some little detail additions the day of! We had such a blast dancing the night away, we would definitely recommend NJE to anyone who needs a DJ to keep you dancing all night. -

We were married on 7/7/21 and had the most positive experience working with NJE! We had to postpone our wedding 4 different times and NJE was extremely understanding, flexible, and accommodating with us throughout this very stressful process. We mainly worked through Kevin Hernandez, the owner of the company, who is absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to ensure that we received everything we were looking for despite the the many roadblocks that were thrown our way due to COVID. Unfortunately due to the weekday scheduling of our final wedding date, Kevin was not able to DJ our wedding himself, however, he did assign one of his best DJ's, Pat Lyons, who we were truly blown away by! First and foremost, Pat is one of the kindest and most caring entertainers we have ever met! Our primary phone meetings with him were organized, exciting, and meaningful. Pat was really amazing at understanding who we are as individuals, as a couple, and what our vision was for the day of our wedding. On our actual wedding day, he was even better! It truly showed that Pat prepared for our special day by executing our plans beyond our expectations. Not only did he make sure to include all of those little special details, but he also checked in with us throughout the night and kept us aware of the time and our schedule. My family and friends were also extremely impressed by him! We had a great time partying with him and the majority of our guests really tore up the dance floor with him as our DJ! Thank you so much to NJE for a truly incredible experience! We highly recommend both Kevin and Pat to all future brides seeking a stress free and FUN entertainment package! -

When we started looking for wedding DJ's, we were of the opinion that a lot of DJ's are a little obnoxious, constantly on the mic with that annoying DJ voice and making themselves the center of attention. Well, our DJ with North Jersey Entertainment, Gio, and his team were really superb and was everything we wanted in a DJ with absolutely none of that stereotypical DJ patter. Gio took the song suggestions we provided and created a great playlist and the dance floor was full all night. We also got the photo booth addition because this company had the cheapest rates for a photo booth we saw and this team was great as well, being helpful with all the guests and very patient with the kids that were there. All of the digital shots from the photo booth were provided to us in a link a few days after the event. We couldn't have asked for a better reception. -

DJ Xavier and Nicole were AWESOME. They were a game changer for our wedding because Xavier got everyone up onto the dance floor!! There are so many decisions you have to make when planning a wedding, with so many vendors, hands down North Jersey Entertainment was the easiest one for us! Not only were they in our budget, had a photobooth and dancing on the clouds option but they were flexible with virtual meetings if need be, they were all super personable, and they were open to customizing the event to our travel theme! Everyone could not stop talking about the photobooth pictures! Kevin, Xavier and Nicole were all very reachable the whole time! In addition we mentioned that flashing lights were not to be used for medical reasons and this team was on it! They made sure all our songs were played, all our requests were fulfilled !They got my MOTHER who rarely dances in a DANCE OFF with my now cousin! It was hysterical hit! They were a hit! They are awesome! They rocked our wedding! You guys are amazing!!! If you are looking for a DJ who will get the party started and get everyone moving and leave you 100% satisfied at the end of the night look no further!! -

We booked NJE for both our DJ and photo booth, and we are so happy we did! First off, Pat Lyons was amazing to work with. He was very helpful and easy to work with from the very first meeting! Come wedding day, he brought the party! He had an amazing set list, and we had guests coming up to us all night talking about how great the music was and how great Pat was! He brings such a positive fun energy to the party, it was great to have him there with us! Definitely book Pat for your event!

Planning with Kevin was so simple. The whole time I felt as though they were taking one thing off of my plate! This company is amazing! Ryan was our Dj at the wedding and he really did an amazing job! The guests could not stop raving! We had several check ins throughout the night and Ryan met every expectation that we had and then come! Ray ran our photo booth which was also SUCH a big hit!! So excited to see the digital album! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with @northjerseyent ! Our DJ, Pat Lyons, truly made our wedding work. We didn’t meet in-person due to the pandemic, but spent a total of two hours on the phone. He was patient, organized, and willing to do whatever he could to make our wedding special. Our wedding entailed him providing music in three separate spaces, one of which was a lengthy walk on top of a hill (ceremony), and Pat moved so quickly, that none of us even noticed how he did it all. We were concerned about how a 50-person wedding dance floor would feel (we had downsized due to the pandemic), and Pat comforted us and ensured that he could get everyone dancing! And he did! We truly can’t say enough positive things. When things went awry at points during the wedding, Pat was always on our team and went above and beyond. -

I want to start with saying that North Jersey Entertainment is a professional DJ company who I HIGHLY recommend for any event you may be planning. From the beginning working with Kevin Hernandez, he made it easy to go over the packages and I appreciated the ease of being able to make payments through their website. It was also very convenient to plan all the songs and details of the wedding on their website as well. Then you have Pat Lyons who was our AMAZING DJ. He was so friendly and we spoke a couple times about the details of the day and he played every song I requested. Music was one of my top most important aspects of the wedding and Pat did a fantastic job!! He was very responsive to any questions or last minute request I had and he was super fun during the wedding. I couldn't be happier with the music and I wish I could have another wedding just to hear all the music again because it was sooo much fun and our guests also kept telling me how great the music was. North Jersey Entertainment was so easy to work with. Kevin was very responsive and continued to check up on us to see if we needed help or needed any song suggestions. We even changed the times and locations at the last second and it wasn’t an issue at all. The day of the wedding Ryan was our DJ and he was everything we could have hoped for. He was professional, high energy, and kept my husband and I dancing the entire night (he NEVER dances). They made the whole process so simple and stress free. You can tell they really care about their customers, and they were truly one of my favorite vendors to plan my wedding with. Thank you NJE!!!!!
