The SWEETEST officiant!!!

Rev. Angela was absolutely perfect for us. Her ceremony options were so flexible and beautiful and it made our ceremony perfect. She even called in leading up to the wedding to check in on me, and the day of she let me husband and I practice our vows with her since we were a bit nervous :) She was so genuine and lovely. We so appreciate her!

Angela takes total pride in serving her couples from the very initial interaction to the detailed ceremony planning and brings a joyful light to the thoughtfulness of her ceremonies. She is totally responsive and reliable and always has her couple's best interest at heart. The Wedding ceremony is arguably one of the most important pieces of a Wedding day, so having a dedicated, trustworthy, and charismatic individual to customize and curate a Ceremony structure reflective of you and your spouse, is ever so important. Angela does this with grace. She will listen with intention ensuring you are comfortable with all of the ceremony, she ensures your ceremony speaks to you uniquely as a couple, she keeps your guests engaged throughout the whole ceremony, and she supports all of the leg work to make you a legally legit married couple. G.O.A.T - Greatest Of All Time

Angela is the G.O.A.T. Simply the best. Great personality. She does not go off of one script fits all. She provided us with many options to choose from allowing my husband and I to create our personalized ceremony. She was prompt with in answering our many text, emails and phone calls. Our guests gave us many compliments about her service. We were a nervous wreck but she kept us completely calm allowing us to enjoy our ceremony. Hire Angela. It will be the best decision you make. The most thoughtful officiant!

Angela made our entire wedding. The ceremony options she offers are completely customizable and she has SO many options. 3 weeks after the wedding and I am still hearing from guests that our ceremony was the sweetest and most authentic that they have seen. We are so thankful Angela does what she does.

Perfect experience!

Rev. Angela was the perfect person to lead our ceremony. It’s like she knew exactly who we are when she wrote the words. The story she told as we stood there exchanging our vows painted a beautiful picture for everything that we are about. We were referred to her by a friend & I’m so happy that we chose her.

Perfect ceremony

Angela was seriously incredible! She took the time to really talk to us to get to know our relationship. Everyone commented at how personal she made the ceremony and someone even asked if we knew her because she made the ceremony so personal to us. She helped get everything moving before the ceremony and made sure I was comfortable before the ceremony. I seriously cannot recommend her enough! Thank you again!!

So Amazing!!

I am so happy we chose Angela to officiate our wedding. She was literally amazing. Professional and responsive for months (we booked her 6 months prior to the wedding date). She helped make our ceremony super intimate and personal. If you need someone hire her!

Excellent in every way!

Angela was helpful in so many ways from the very beginning. To answering questions about details on the marriage license to if permits were needed. Very thorough in the selection of vows and was VERY accommodating as to the time of day we chose to have the wedding. Sunrise is beautiful!!! I emailed several times and was always prompt with her reply. She was fantastic!!!

Last Minute Booking

We came to NC on vacation from California with plans to get married while we were here. Our family friend was unable to marry us due to a death in the family and I reached out to Angela 2 days before our wedding date. Angela was quick to respond and was willing to fit us in and officiate our wedding exactly where we wanted to be...barefoot in the sand! We spoke on the phone for a few minutes, she made suggestions, and asked what we wanted in a ceremony. Her suggestion of under the pier at Top Sail beach was absolutely perfect!! We met her at the location and we were married. She was wonderful and accommodating and I would recommend her to anyone!!

Outstanding!

She really touched us a way that I can not explain or hardly express! First of all, she stepped up when we were in a true bind! I spoke with her via phone on a Tuesday for our ceremony on Saturday! She was so understanding and comforting! I explained that our marriage was more than just the two of us, this was not only about us but also about Our children and grandchildren joining in this union! Marriage is about the couple but family is a critical part especially when children are involved! There were some other details discussed and I immediately felt relief!
The day of our ceremony I never doubted it would be wonderful but I could never convey her ability to make it what it was! Her words were so true! Everyone has asked and spoke of the ceremony... I had one lady tell me that she had always dreaded weddings because she felt they were somewhat fake and ordinary... she said this was the first wedding she had experienced such a true sense of love and commitment in the words spoken. My husband and I did not repeat vows, she spoke for us, we said the I Do’s and exchanged rings. We did not need to say anything... she said it all for us which allowed us to relax and take the time for the two of us to listen and truly enjoy this moment!
As I said ... I could never express the ability she has! She is absolutely outstanding!! She made our day more special than we could ever have imagined! And she made our day special for our family and friends too!

Look Nowhere Else

Angela is amazing! She went above and beyond from the first day we talked to after the ceremony. Angela provided us a packet with readings, vows, and other ideas so we could customize our ceremony. This information made planning extremely easy and stress-free. After the ceremony, Angela submitted our signed marriage license to the county in a timely manner. It was an absolute pleasure having Angela be a part of our special day.

Angela was wonderful, we got in touch with her the last minute for our small wedding ceremony and she was so accommodating and answered any questions we had with email or over the phone. When we got to the beach we went and met at a local coffee shop and were to able to just and sit and chat about what we wanted and i felt very comfortable with her. She goes beyond what most would do and I couldn't have asked for a better person to marry my now husband and I.

Angela did stellar job as our officiant. She made our ceremony so incredibly meaningful, simple, elegant, and intimate. My husband and I keep going back over the day, and our ceremony was hands down our favorite part of the entire wedding (as it should be) because it completely reflected how we feel about one another and who we are together as a couple. Angela is such a calming force in the winds of a wedding! She was recommended by a random woman my mom met and as it turned out, was on every "approved" vendor list we received from area venues. She has a VERY warm presence, she is kind and friendly and accommodating and she created a ceremony for us that was both meaningful and unique. She has also worked with many of Wilmington's finest so the ceremony/reception ran like a well-oiled machine. It was truly the most beautiful day of my life! Thank you Angela!

Angela was quick to reply and available for us on short notice (5 weeks) away from wedding. Reasonable pricing, very friendly, and also suggested some photographers who I have also Booked! Can't wait to meet her on our wedding day! Update since wedding....Angela is absolutely the best! She should get 10 stars instead of 5. My husband and I loved having Rev. Angela Kelley at our wedding! In looking for officiates for our out-of-town ceremony, I was looking for someone who had great reviews for being dependable, professional, and had a lot of experience. Angela was all of these things and so much more. A couple of other criteria I wanted fulfilled was someone who could work with us via phone/email since we didn't live in the Wilmington area, someone who was open to working with couples of different religious backgrounds (or not religious at all,) and someone who was also comfortable with our dog being at the ceremony as the flower girl! Angela was so open and accepting to all of our creative ideas. She sent us so much information to help us plan the perfect ceremony and was supportive to encourage us to make it something we truly would be happy with. She is an EXPERT, and made a point to make sure we really took the time to "be with each other" instead of just rushing through the day. We incorporated a lot of little details and everything truly went perfectly! The rehearsal also went very smoothly, in part to our event planner, but also because Angela knew just what to do. We still talk about how perfect our wedding weekend was. Everyone should consider Angela for their ceremony!

Angela is simply amazing. There is no other way to describe her. She made our ceremony perfect! She sent us a packet and allowed us to customize anything we wanted. She was available whenever you needed her and very easy to communicate with. For anyone looking for an Officiant, Angela is your person and she will go above and beyond to make your ceremony exactly how you want it to be. Angela was amazing. Not only was she very responsive to emails and phone calls (we live about 2 hours apart) but she was very accommodating as well. She has a great packet which has various vows, readings, and other items/ideas for the ceremony. She had them organized from short to long ceremonies and even religious and non-religious ones. We were able to use whatever we liked, in whichever order we chose across all of those and send it to her using the worksheet she provided. Hence, we were able to have the perfect tailormade wedding ceremony. She even sent off our marriage license after we signed it, so we wouldn't have to figure out when we would be able to do it.

All in all, she was an absolute delight to work with and I couldn't imagine a better person to have officiating our wedding.

Reverend Angela was absolutely perfect! She was very personable, kind and caring. We planned our wedding from a distance and didn't have much to go by other than recommendations. From our first conversation on the phone right up to the wedding, she was by our side making sure everything was the way we wanted it. Angela is so sweet. She was the officiant for our wedding at The Atrium, and she made the whole thing so easy! She offered us so many options and examples for different wedding ceremonies, which was super helpful for us considering we had no idea what we were doing, and we were able to craft our own ceremony ideas with her help. She also gave us a great idea for a ring warming/blessing from our wedding guests that we were able to incorporate into our ceremony since it was a smaller wedding, which was a really meaningful. I had a few people comment on it saying they had never seen it before, but it was such a cool idea. She was super responsive over email as we were leading up to the wedding, and she called both me and the groom the morning of the wedding just to see how we were doing. She was a calming presence before, during and after the ceremony, and we felt very blessed to have her be a part of our day.

I contacted Angela Kelley about 9+ months in advance for our September 2017 wedding, based on her Wedding Wire reviews and her website. Angela lived up to all of our expectations of a wonderful ceremony! Her communications were very prompt and helpful, she was willing to meet with us before the ceremony, and she conducted a beautiful ceremony (in the rain at that!). The other reviews that I read were true. She is wonderful at making the couple feel comfortable, and she is a very "classy" and professional officiant. She gave great traditional and optional vow options, which helped us to write the perfect ceremony. She also gave us the perfect referral for our photographer. Thanks to Angela for helping to make our wedding day spectacular!

The lovely Rev Angela Kelly performed a beautiful, personalized renewal of vows service to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary!
She came to us, at our N. Topsail Island
Beach house rental. Although we had only corresponded via email,
I knew we would love her. The service took place on the oceanfront on a beautiful early evening with pink clouds. How in the world did she do that!?? Having never been to Topsail, she wisely suggested just the perfect time according to the tide chart. Rev Angela made our renewal of vow service perfect! Thank you!!!

Based upon the many positive reviews on wedding wire, we reached out to Reverend Kelley. It took one conversation to realize how special she is and experienced with making a wedding day even more of a blessing. The wedding she put together for us was heartfelt and amazing. She kept everyone calm and things running smoothly during the ceremony. The Sunday before the big day, we panicked when we realized we miscommunicated and neither of us had yet returned a checklist to her, even though we prepared it a couple of months ago. Reverend Kelley spent her Sunday working on the most amazing and beautiful words in our ceremony. Returned it to us the same day as we cried over her well crafted ceremony. Reverend Kelley was graceful, loving, and truly showed deep caring in officiating our beautiful ceremony. We highly recommend her.

OMG- Rev Angela Kelley was so wonderful! She was very professional, super nice, and extremely enthusiastic about our wedding! We had to plan everything over email or calls, since we live in Texas but our wedding was in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, but she was very responsive and patient with the entire process! It was so great to finally meet her on our wedding day!! We were able to work with her to create our unique and special wedding ceremony!! From our first contact with Angela to our last she was nothing but kind and gracious. She sent us the best wedding packet that made it so easy for us to create our own ceremony with our own little special touches. The day of the wedding she was the calm in all of the chaos. I never felt rushed or like I had to worry what was going on while I was getting ready. She would just smile and tell me that it was my day, to take my time and that everything was handled. Things ran smoothly because of her. The ceremony itself was absolutely perfect. She spoke in a way that was so kind and genuine. We felt as if our day was as important to her and it was to us. Angela was simply the best. My wedding coordinator quit on our venue last minute, a tropical storm on day before made a rehearsal impossible to complete, and all could have been a bit disastrous without Angela. She helped everything run flawlessly with the ceremony.
Several of our wedding guests commented saying it was the sweetest, most beautiful ceremony they've ever been to. Angela was simply phenomenal. She let us choose which kind of ceremony we wanted that fit our personalities best. She was very quick and easy to communicate with, and performed the most beautiful ceremony. Angela was great, she offered a packet of different ceremony, vows, ring exchange ideas. We were able to pick and choose and mix and match to make our ceremony exactly what we wanted. We were so happy we chose Angela to officiate our wedding in May. She was so open and easy to talk to and offered plenty of help and suggestions along the way. We didn't live in North Carolina at the time, and planning a wedding from afar can be somewhat daunting of a task. :- ) Angela was easily accessible and answered every question promptly. Rev Angela Kelly was a dream come true, from our phone calls to meeting in person - we knew she was the officiant for us. She helped us every step of the way, with various options and plans and amazing insight to what had worked at previous weddings. She even brought up factors that we hadn't even thought of! Angela was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. My husband and I are a mix of religious and atheist so we wanted to find someone who would fit both of our choices and be happy to accommodate us. She was amazing. She offered us numerous options and we basically designed our ceremony from the ground up. She even introduced us to an amazing tradition called a ring warming and it was the perfect addition to our wonderful day. She was prompt in responding and worked well with our planner!!! Poor thing had a flat tire on the way to our wedding but still managed to show up on time and all made up and pretty for our ceremony. We had a handful of guests remark about how amazing she was. They commented on her calm and relaxed demeanor and said that she set the perfect tone for the rest of our celebration. I was so very happy and amazed at the service that she provided. Most importantly she mailed all of our paperwork for us and our certified license was waiting for us when we got back from our honeymoon!!! Thanks Angela!!!

My husband an I could not be more pleased to have meet Reverend Angela. She is a BLESSING. We live a distance from Top Sail; however, she set up a time during one of our day trips to meet with us and have coffee. She allows you to have control over your ceremony, with her assistance and guidance. She is only a phone call away when you need her. Her concern on how I was handling the wedding day was an added bonus and more than I would have expected. My and my husband's wedding day could not have been more perfect and Angela Kelley played a tremendous roll in that! From the moment I first contacted her in search of an officiant; she immediately took it upon herself to search the perfect time to wed in between high tides (as I was trying to plan my wedding from Pennsylvania and had no idea what I was doing), she then left several messages and emails with words of encouragement and well wishes as I stressed through all of the planning and even offered help! She was right there to walk me through my rehearsal and gave me a huge hug and help keep me calm up until the moment I walked down the aisle. Angela was absolutely amazing! She coordinated everything for the ceremony the day. We had no rehearsal and the ceremony went so smoothly! Her options for ceremonies are so thorough but she was still open to us adding in our own pieces and vows. My daughter Hailey met her (husband now) Blake in high school. They are both from Lagrange, Ga (about a hour south of Atlanta, Ga) after high school Blake went directly into the Marines leaving my daughter behind heartbroken in 10th grade.
A few years later after my daughter had already graduated high school and started college she received a phone call from Blake.... Instantly they rekindled their love.... As they were planning a huge wedding .... Life happened ~like it always does~ and with a military life style it couldn't be helped!!!

My daughter "wanted a big wedding", but there just wasn't enough time... I was actually working with less than 24 hours! BUT after finding Angela on Google, Rev. ANGELA KELLY ultimately pulled it all together during a perfect sunset on topsail island at a perfect time! Angela Kelly is awesome and I would definitely recommend her for any wedding big or small!

We found Angela on Wedding Wire as we were looking for a non-religious wedding and when we met her, we really liked her immediately. We loved how she was so organized and provided us so many options to choose from for our ceremony and also allowed us to add our own ideas. Reverend Angela Kelley was absolutely amazing to work with and we couldn't choose a better person to join us in marriage. We had a small, intimate beach wedding in North Carolina. It was a destination wedding which often can make things a bit more stressful, we didn't meet Angela before the wedding but we knew right away that she is the right person for us. Angela responded to our emails and phone calls very promptly, she sent as a folder of wedding ceremony examples and we could choose, edit any of them. My husband and I were married on Valentine's Day this year. Though it has taken a while to write this review it is something that must be done. By done I mean in a fantastic sort of way! Angela sealed a friendship of almost 18 years in the most sacred way possible. Amidst moving and living between houses over the last several months, her words have reverberated over and over in daily life. Angela was available on such very short notice as we had a 12 day engagement. Angela was very receptive to what our personal wishes on our special day allowing us to add in all of our needs for ceremonial purposes. If you are considering a wedding in Onslow county or surrounding areas where she is available I would highly recommend Angela to seal your deal on your special day! My wife and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary last summer, and we had already scheduled our annual vacation to Topsail Island. So with that I had decided to surprise my wife with a vow renewal on the very beach that we vacation at every year.

I had reached out to Mrs. Kelley to see what options we had for such an event, and I was completely overwhelmed by how much she did for us. She made the event very simple for us by the preparation she had put in herself. It was stress free, and it all turned out to be something we'll remember for the rest of our lives. I would recommend Angela to officiate any event, and we plan on doing so again when we celebrate our 20th anniversary. She is as good as it gets in organizing and officiating such an event, and she puled it off flawlessly.

My husband and I are religious but do not attend church regularly and thus were a bit stuck when it came to choosing an officiant. We didn't want to get boxed in by a minister pushing a traditional ceremony, so we began looking online and saw that Angela had excellent reviews. So we thought, "why not?" and began emailing.

Angela was prompt and polite with her responses to our emails. She sent us a folder with a few ceremony "scripts" (as I call them) of different variations...some more traditional, some more modern, some religious, some not. After reading through the scripts with my husband, we were able to highlight pieces we liked from each, and Angela put together a custom-made beautifully eloquent script for us.

Angela was super flexible and open to our ideas. We even ended up having the best man give a speech during the ceremony about our relationship (because, who better to speak about our love than someone who has known us from the beginning?)

Angela was also a complete ANGEL when it came to my mother having a pre-wedding Mother-of-the-Bride Bridezilla moment. She was compassionate and patient and ended up having lunch with myself and both sets of parents to allow everyone to meet her and get comfortable. Despite having initial reservations about an online officiant (versus a minister), my mom was really won over by Angela's personality. Angela is so easy going, it's impossible not to like her!

Angela made our wedding day go so smoothly. She came to our rehearsal and ran through everything, and on the day of the wedding kept a copy of my personalized vows on her so I wouldn't have to carry them down the aisle. I felt so comfortable and relaxed on my wedding day, with the ceremony tailored to us.

Once you meet Angela you will realize there is so much more wonderfulness about her. Just ask about her life story and family and you will realize what a gem you've found!

I would recommend Angela to everyone again and again. She is compassionate, professional and so much more than just an officiant. Being that we are not from the area, she was always available to answer any and all questions and became a friend throughout the planning. She was such a huge help the day of our wedding. Angela was there to calm my nerves and came early the day of to make sure everyone was right on track. She is truly amazing and we are so happy to have chosen her!

There is a reason Angela has a perfect score.... she's perfect. Angela was a part of our wedding and now she's a permanent part of our lives. The only reason you shouldn't book Angela is because she's already booked for your wedding date... and to that I would say.. change your wedding day!

I met Angela at a wedding and I'm so glad I did! During our first meeting I knew that we had found who we were looking for. Angela made designing our ceremony so easy and personal and was very willing to work with us to make it exactly what we wanted. She takes the time to make sure the bride, groom, and close family members are comfortable and calm- something that we definitely wanted on our day.

Several of our local family and friends asked for Angela's information because of how personable and professional she was at our wedding. I am so thankful for everything that she did for us and would recommend her to anyone!

My husband and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Angela and the services she provided! We got married in Holden Beach and are from Chicago, but Angela made the ceremony part a breeze. She sent us a packet that helped out a ton with making the ceremony exactly how we wanted it to be. She was super responsive any time I called - she even called the day to make sure things were going okay and to see if I needed anything. The ceremony was beautiful, and you can tell she loves what she does! 5 out of 5 for sure!

Angela was VERY personable & helpful! She welcomed any questions we had about our ceremony including selecting a hairstylist. And there is something about her that calmed us & made us feel everything was going to be okay & wonderful during the ceremony. My husband & I felt that we connected with her from the beginning!

Angela was a true pleasure to work with. My husband and I were looking to celebrate both of our family's unique traditions and faiths within our ceremony, and after doing some research we realized it was going to be difficult to find an officiant that was flexible and understanding. Angela was a wonderful resource as we pieced the ceremony together. She reviewed drafts, provided feedback and suggestions, and was always honest and kind. My husband and I decided in February we wanted to get married in May. We aren't religious and so we weren't sure where to begin searching for an officiate for our wedding. We went online and searched for a trusted local officiate around Jacksonville and we found just that in Angela Kelley. Angela and I spoke on the phone a few times before she came to do our wedding, and each time she was professional, kind, a good listener, and as excited as we were about getting married. Prior to the wedding she provided a folder filled with sample wedding ceremonies for us to choose through, and we were able to mix and match to find the perfect ceremony for us. Since we were blending a new family together Angela provided some suggestions that I loved, like exchanging gifts with the children. A few weeks before the ceremony Angela provided the script of the ceremony for us to review and it was perfect. The day of the wedding Angela was extremely flexible, since we weren't sure if we were going to get married right on the beach or in a nearby building. She brought two pairs of shoes just in case we decided on the beach. Even though it was raining she was still game to stand on the beach and marry us in front of our parents, children, and siblings. It was a beautiful and intimate ceremony, and I am thankful that Angela did such a great job. As a side note, I loved that she didn't mind our photographer being right next to her the entire ceremony. I know that friends of mine have had officiates get mad if the photographer was distracting!

Angela was wonderful, from the first meeting, my now husband and I knew she was the wedding officiant for us. She was very easy to talk to and provided just the right info to help us through each step. She also encouraged us to make our ceremony personal to us... she even let us incorporate planting a small tree into our ceremony, haha! I would absolutely recommend her to all of my friends and family!

Angela was so wonderful to work with! We wanted our wedding to be a special, customized ceremony unlike any other and Angela helped make that a reality. Angela was amazing, starting with the initial phone call! My husband originally wanted his chaplain to perform our ceremony. I cannot begin to recommend Angela Kelley highly enough as a wedding officiant. Her attention to detail, support, professionalism, sense of humor, warmth, thoughtfulness and kindness made my wedding all the more special. With her help, I was able to write a secular ceremony that fit my and my husband's personalities and that was a true representation of our relationship. Her experience and helpful guidance allowed the evening's events to move smoothly without a hitch. And did I mention the sense of humor? Seriously, she has a great sense of humor. Angela is one of those people I would love to have at every family event as she would make them more fun to attend! I'm so glad I was fortunate enough to be married by her.

Angela was nothing short of absolutely amazing. We needed an officiant with only a few weeks left until our date and she fit us into her schedule no problem. She has many options for variations of ceremonies and it's totally customizable. Our guests loved her and most of them commented on what a wonderful job she did afterwards. The best part is the attention and care she gave my husband and I . She truly understands how special this moment is and does a beautiful job in making it everything you expect. I recommend her with the highest confidence that she will exceed your expectations. This ceremony was a small one for just family and at our large wedding with all our guests next year, we are very much looking forward to having Angela as our officiant again!

Rev. Kelley recently performed the services for our daughter's wedding on Oak Island in NC and I can honestly say all of the reviews that we read before calling her were absolutely correct. She is very responsive, caring, professional, timely - everything that you want and need to make any wedding run smoothly as possible. We live in Atlanta so were very nervous about using someone that we did not know and would not be able to have regular face to face meetings with; however everything went just as planned and we were VERY pleased.

We highly recommend Rev. Angela Kelley for any memorable ceremony you are planning. We are from Wi. and didn't know who to contact for our 40th wedding anniversary. We were planning a family vacation in Topsail N.C. and wanted to renew our vows while there. We began looking on the internet to find someone who would officiate our ceremony. After reading the reviews on Rev. Kelley I called her and immediately knew she was the one for us. She is very personable and was genuinely interested in helping us plan a memorable day. Rev. Kelley had wonderful suggestions as to whether we wanted to write our own vows or if we wanted her to do them for us. In the end we chose a combination of both, and I have to say it was beautiful thanks to her.

Angela Kelley was so kind hearted from the beginning to the end. As soon as we met eachother it was like we knew eachother for years! She made it so easy for us during the whole ceremony to not be nervous, with the joy and happiness of the words that were spoken. She was lovely and we were so lucky to have her marry us on our wedding day! The whole process was so smooth, since we lived in New Jersey and got married in North Carolina, we got to choose how we wanted the ceremony and got to write our own vows, and she kept in contact with us all the way up to the big day.. When the big day came around, she calmed me down from the moment she said "Hello, it is so nice to meet you, what can I do for you.." We loved the time we spent with her and if we were ever to renew our vows, Angela would be the FIRST person to call!!! I recommend her no doubt to anyone out there, her services were AMAZING!
