Miss Candace was our officiant and she was wonderful! Everything was ran smoothly. Guests kept telling me how lovely she was during the ceremony, the way she spoke and really made all the words meaningful. I also loved all of the customizable options to tailor the ceremony exactly how you want! -

Lorrie was amazing. She kept in touch with us as we planned our destination wedding in New Orleans . We had a crazy last minute thing . The venue we were using for our ceremony was closed (Jackson Sq) and we weren’t notified . She calmly helped my hubby move everyone to another location and it all worked out .

City Park, New Orleans Elopement
Lorrie was our wedding officiant for our City Park, New Orleans elopement on 10/25/2020 and she was excellent!! I was coming from out of state so I was working with her via email and the checklist she provided made it very easy! Communication was great. She made our ceremony feel special as she meant every word she spoke to us. I'm sooo happy we chose her as our officiant and would highly recommend her services to any future bride! Thank you Lorrie! -

I cannot express how happy I am that we chose Lorrie to officiate our wedding, she helped us craft an extremely personal and meaningful ceremony for the both of us. She helped us keep it together at the altar too! I would absolutely recommend working with her, especially for a handfasting ceremony! She put up with us through figuring out the 'tying of the knot' while being extremely professional and wonderful the entire time. Thank you so much Lorrie, from both of us for making our ceremony as beautiful as possible. -

Happy married and I’m excited beyond words can say! Thank you so much Minister Lorrie Werden. My husband and I are so thankful that you were available during these trying times as COVID-19 is going on. We were looking for the impossible to be able to tie the knot and I downloaded the wedding wire app on my phone to give it a shot and it’s been the best choice I could have ever made. Lorrie previously officiated my sister's wedding so we got in touch with her to officiate ours. She was very easy to work with, responded fast, and was flexible when we had to change the time of the wedding due to renovations at our venue. The morning of our wedding, she even sent me a very sweet text and told me to just enjoy the moment as it flies by, and boy did it! And as with every wedding, something's gonna go wrong. Our limo was late and we also had a close family member pass early that same morning. Lorrie was a champ through it all and helped us both, let us know if we get too emotional or need a second to compose ourselves just look at her. I'm very glad she was our officiant and she even stayed for the reception to catch up with my sister and her husband. I highly recommend her as an officiant, trust me you'll have no regrets! -

Lorrie was so great. She helped me through the whole wedding license process and helped me better understand what I needed. Getting our ceremony customized was extremely easy. The day of the wedding she helped move things along and was a wonderful source of support. She was in mine and my families' corner before, during, and after the ceremony. She was truly a joy to work with and I can not thank her enough. -

Perfect elopement
Lorrie was absolutely amazing as our officiant. We came into New Orleans in the middle of Mardi Gras and decided to get married the Monday before Fat Tuesday. To say the least New Orleans was crazy which is what we wanted and it did not bother Lorrie at all. She was on time and was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. Highly recommend her for your wedding/elopement.

Lorrie at NOLA Elopements LLC was excellent! I can't imagine anyone more perfectly fit to officiate our big day. I loved how customized she enabled our service to be-- she worked with us until it was exactly what we wanted. I had a million questions for her, and she always got back to me very quickly, able to answer anything and everything down to the littlest detail. She was fun and professional-- I highly recommend her! -

Lorrie was superb from our first email. She was very quick to respond to our emails . Our ceremony was complete and she sent it to us to review . We made a change or two and she revised it. She even made sure to reach out to have the proper pronunciation of my father’s name Jorge. On the day of the wedding she came to my hotel and reassured me that everything would be great but pointed out that in the end what mattered was Kurt and I getting married . As she met up with my groom they came across a Big problem, the actual ceremony location was locked due to protest(Jackson Square).No one contacted us but my calm groom and Ms.Lorrie were able to figure out what to do. My groom called me and told me what was happening . Soon after I was given the go and brought to Washington Artillery Park. The ceremony was great and we got so many comments on how great Ms.Lorrie was and that they loved everything said in our ceremony. Thank you so much !! -

Exceptional Officiant | Look No Further!
As my fiance' and I were planning our elopement, we were looking for the perfect person to officiate our ceremony. After inquiring with different agencies, Lorrie with NOLA Elopements was the first to respond with a very detailed response, where she introduced herself, her price and locations that we could use at no charge. Without further searching, I knew she was perfect for us!
She corresponded so kindly as we prepared for our big day; we talked via email and text which was PERFECT for my busy life!
While preparing, she emailed a personalized ceremony, which was WAY more than what we were expecting, actually- we were not expecting that AT ALL. As my Fiance' and I laid on the couch, personalizing our ceremony and vows, we shared laughter and tears and we just could not wait until our big day!
On the day of our ceremony, we met Lorrie at the Tree of Life where our ceremony was taking place. Even though we ran into traffic and got detoured and were a littttttle late, she did not complain nor mention it, she completely understood! (we ALL know how NOLA traffic is!)
Upon arrival, Lorrie told us exactly where to go (she even pinned her location and sent it to us!). She was dressed very professional and is naturally beautiful! She officiated our ceremony so calmly, so sweet. It was as if we would have known her our entire lives.
If you are looking for an officiant, look no further! Lorrie is your lady, your officiant!

She quickly helped us choose a new venue when problems arose with ours. And she even allowed us the flexibility of moving the ceremony up to an earlier time, when we had last minute scheduling conflicts. I would call her, the efficient officiant.

All year emailed and dealt with her. Fastforward to the NIGHT before and she informs us she will not be at our morning ceremony! (Not even 12 hrs notice) She sent a replacement who stumbled over our words and mispronounced our names. Her reason... she had another ceremony she booked for herself on the same day. It was so dishearting so unprofessional and I would never recommend her to anyone. If she double booked herself then why did she wait until the night before to inform us of the change. I hired her and expected her. The stand in must of apologized a thousand times .... she also confirmed that she had only found out a few days prior that she would be standing in at my ceremony. The most unprofessional and least caring person .... beware if you are looking for a perfect wedding day - she knows how to destroy that picture in fabulous fashion. Worst decision I made for my destination wedding. -

I’m not sure why or what happened, but this vendor fell incredibly short of my expectations.
I’m not sure if it was Covid or plain disinterest on her part but my interactions with her left much to be desired.
Wanting to Elope from out of town. My wife and I needed help and had questions.
All responses were tentative at best and vague. It left me with so mush apprehension and anxiety. We ultimately went with another officiant.
All I can say is good luck if you choose her.
