So amazing!

Jeanine is the best! She made all of my bridesmaids look AMAZING for my wedding! Not to mention me.. I made a last minute change and Jeanine worked her magic and made my hair look so good!!!! Not only that, but she is the sweetest! I had some girls run late (4th of July wedding) and she’s was totally cool about it! I highly recommend Jeanine for your wedding day! You will not be disappointed!

Janine is the best!

Easiest decision I made during the wedding process was hiring Janine to do my hair!! She did all 3 of my sisters wedding as well as some friends. She is beyond kind, amazing, flexible, sweet, and friendly. Janine is extremely talented and takes the time to make sure each and every girl she works with loves her hair!! She was professional, easy to get in contact with, and extremely helpful during the whole process!! We love Janine and would recommend her without a single doubt to anyone looking!

Fabulous, seamless, caring.

Working with Jeanine was a pleasure! She shows up on time, knows exactly how to compliment your hair with the right style, I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I would happily recommend Jeanine to anyone. She was funny, sweet, and most importantly, CARED about how I looked on my most important day. She was lovely.

There are no words to express how amazing Jeanine is! She made me look absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. She never fails to exceed my expectations. Her talent is immeasurable. My experience with NJ Hair Designs was amazing! I found Jeanine through my makeup artist, went to get my trial and the outcome was fab! I wanted an updo for the wedding ceremony and a half up/half down for the reception. Jeanine was very accommodating and knows the look that I wanted just by showing her some photos. A few days before the big day, she messaged me to confirm all the details. On my wedding day, she arrived on time. I had 5 girls she needed to style and she was very efficient timewise. She’s very easy to work with and my hairsyle exceeded my expectations! With full makeup on and Jeanine’s hairstyle, I totally felt like a bride! I received lots of compliments all day and my hair held up on a 80+ degrees weather and even after I danced the night away. I would definitely recommend Jeanine, her talent in styling hair is beyond amazing!

Jeanine was amazing from start to finish. We had a small wedding in September; so many places required bride +4 or other limits; not so with NJHAIRDESIGNS. Jeanine was willing to work with the bride and MOB at our hotel to get ready. We had a great experience for a trial too! I am very picky about who touches my hair, and Jeanine earned my trust and my business! Wonderful personality and she'll listen to your ideas and make you look beautiful! No hidden fees, no drama, tons of patience, LOVE HER!

Jeanine was great!!!!! Worked with high professionalism, everything was on time: we looked great, received a lot of compliments from friends and family. I highly recommend her service! If you are looking for someone to do you hair for the day of your wedding, look no further! After speaking with a few other hair places that I just didn't connect with, Jeanine came to my rescue and helped make my wedding day truly magical. I had Jeanine do my hair, my bridesmaids' hair (3), my mom and the mom of the groom. We all have different kinds of hair (long, short, straight, frizzy (me)) and she worked her magic for each of us. I went to Jeanine for a trial and it was completely worth it as it put my mind at ease. Jeanine gave me a fantastic up-do that lasted the entire night (and even the next morning). Both my mom and I wore our hair up for the next day's brunch! Jeanine also worked with my veil and headpiece. She was EXTREMELY flexible and easy going. She brought a sense of calm to the bridal suite. Her hair lasted in cold and humid weather. I just can't recommend her enough. If you chose Jeanine, know that you are in extremely kind and capable hands!

Trying to find a professional who will work with a small (less than 4) bridal party or bride only is nearly impossible in my experience for a September wedding. I was lucky to find a choice of two vendors and had my trial with both. I decided to book Jeanine not only based on her work which was great, but because she is very easy to work with, patient, sweet as can be, and will travel to our location: all at a very reasonable price! As we wolkred through what I envisioned (with help!!) for my wedding hair style, Jeanine made sure I was on board every step of the way. Finding it difficult to come up with the right words for what I wanted, and very few photos of ideas, Jeanine gracioulsy tweeked, pinnned, re-pinned, teased, whatever it took until I was smiling and confident that I had what will make me happy. With the chaos that comes with wedding day-of prep, I am delighted that Jeanine will be there for me!

Jeanine,
I want to thank you for everything you did to make me feel beautiful on my wedding day. You nailed the vintage style hairstyle that I wanted! I cannot stand having my hair pulled tight on top of my head, so I appreciated you keeping it feeling loose but staying tight. With all of those bobby pins, I did not feel one during the ceremony, and that it truly a blessing! My hair did not move at all the entire night. There was no need for any touchups at all! The rest of by bridal party also adored their hair styles. Jodi said that she was impressed that here curls were still intact by the end of the night because she had it done professionally before and it never stayed. They all told me how much they enjoyed how beautiful they looked and comfortable they felt. From the trial up until the day, you were sweet, helpful, and you truly listened to what we all wanted. I cannot thank you enough for making my day go smoothly and making me and my bridal party feel the most beautiful we have ever felt in our lives! If I ever need any more hair services, I will be happy to contact NJ Hair Designs! Thanks Jeanine!

Jeanine was really great. She did my hair, my bridal party's hair and my mom's hair. She listened to everyone and did exactly what they wanted. She is lovely to talk to and made everyone feel really comfortable. My wedding was on a really humid and hot day and all of our hairstyles stayed in place and did not become frizzy or floppy. I would highly recommend NJHAIRDESIGNS to anyone looking for a great person to do great hair.

Jeanine and Dee were everything I wanted and needed for my wedding day. They were professional, on-time, sweet, friendly, patient, flexible, and fit in perfectly with my bridal party. Everyone's hair and makeup was complex and still came out absolutely perfect! I had the EXACT look I wanted for my hair and makeup, and their talents exceeded everyone's expectations.

I felt as though their pricing was reasonable when I first met with them. Post-wedding I can justify every single dollar spent. I love them and would absolutely use them again for for any occasion. I would recommend them to everyone!

I used NJ Hair Designs for my wedding pictures. Janine was wonderful to work with. She was so kind and listened to what I wanted and gave me the exact look I was hoping for. Jeanine from NJ Hair Designs was absolutely fabulous!!! She listened to everything I wanted - I did a trial with her before booking, was extremely pleased, booked her and then a couple of months later completely changed my mind in what I wanted for my wedding hair. I sent her a couple of emails with pictures of what I then wanted and with just that she was able to deliver beautifully!!! :) The only bummer was that my veil had the clip for updos or low back buns (what I originally wanted) and my photographer had me do all these ridiculous shots (like being hoisted up in the air multiple times), which as the groomsmen and husband were doing the veil kept getting pulled and it ruined the effect that Jeanine had created....so going back I would DEFINITELY recommend having her on site before the ceremony for touch ups!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Jeanine provided services for my September 2014 wedding (four bridesmaids, one junior bridesmaid and one flower girl) and everyone looked amazing! She arrived early and finished with enough time so our photographers could take extra pictures in the hotel before we left for our first location. From trial to day of, Jeanine was super responsive and I couldn’t be happier with her professionalism and expertise. She is an absolute sweetheart and made everyone feel so comfortable :)

I used NJ Hair Designs (Janine) for my hair and also my bridesmaids and mother's hair. She did a wonderful job on all of us, we all looked great and the looks lasted all day long. She also arrived right on time, ready to work, and got all 6 of us done in 3 hours. I also thought she was great during my hair trail, she tried 3 different looks and made sure I was happy with the final one. I highly recommend NJ Hair Designs for bridal hair.

Jeanine did an amazing job on the hair for my bridesmaids, moms, and me for my wedding! I would 100% recommend her for anyone looking for a hairstylist for their wedding. She is so sweet and down to earth. She spent so much time with me at the trial trying different options since only had a broad idea of what I wanted. My hair turned out better than I ever anticipated. All of the bridesmaids had updo's that fit their look perfectly. She did 11 peoples hair and was done in enough time for the photographers to take extra pictures of the bridal party. I am lucky to have found her!

Jeanine was the 2nd stylist I hired to do my bridesmaids, aunts and flower girl for my wedding this past summer. She was recommended to me by the make up artist I hired. She was responsive to all my emails, listened to each person about their desires (many of them brought pictures/photos of their ideas) and was professional throughout the whole process. Although I had a family friend do my hair, my mothers and the maid of honor (my sister), I would have completely trusted Jeanine to also do my hair on my big day. I would recommend her services to anyone who needs a hair stylist for formal and non formal occasions.

Jeanine at NJ Hair Designs did an amazing job with my hair for my wedding! Jeanine was creative, professional and very easy to work with. Jeanine was so easy to work with. Before the wedding, she came to my daughter's (the bride's) apartment for a trial wedding "do"; when my daughter wanted a slight change in the hairstyle, she started over & the resulting hairstyle was exactly what she wanted. All this was done in less than 1 hour. On the wedding day, Jeanine came to the hotel where we were staying on time; she quickly & efficiently styled the bridesmaids' hair & recreated my daughter's dream hairstyle! She was friendly and joined in the conversations; in addition she stayed a little longer after she was done so that the photographer could take pictures of her placing the flower and veil on my daughter's hair. I couldn't have asked for more!

Jeanine at NJ Hair Designs was a pleasure to work with. I found her while googling hair stylists for my wedding and booked a trial with her. Jeanine did a wonderful job on my hair and several bridesmaids' hair the morning of my wedding. She arrived right on time and got to work immediately with her magic. She took her time with each of us, asking for our input and offering some suggestions as well. She was extremely pleasant and down to earth. Jeanine was recommended to me by Gina Brozon and I am glad she was. A family friend was doing my hair and my mom and sister so a second hairstylist was required for the rest of the girls, including the flower girl. Never meeting Jeanine before I was a little unsure but her reviews as well as pictures online were positive. Jeanine listened to all of the girls and where some touchups were required she was willing to fix. She even trimmed one of the girls bangs for her!!! Everyone was very happy and Jeanine was very polite and professional. I would hire her again... but I\'m only getting married once!! :)

I loooooved how my hair looked on my wedding day!! Jeanine did just a great job and her service was impeccable. She also brought an assistant at no extra cost, she was quick and friendly and got there really early. She was at the venue even before I arrived and started with one of the bridesmaids. Jeanine was recommended to me by Gina Brozon (my makeup artist). She did an AMAZING job with my girls! They were all thrilled with it and it stayed in all night. One of my girls has very thick, heavy hair and Jeanine took her time with it to make it perfect (and kept touching it up until my friend was completely happy with it). She also did a blowout for my husband's cousin, which looked great, and curled 2 of my flower girls' hair. They were so happy and looked adorable. I used Jeanine and her assistant for my wedding on September 17th and could not have been more pleased with my experience.
Starting at the trial where she was able to fit me in on the weekend (which is very rare in the wedding industry). She also tried out 3 different styles on me since I had no idea how I wanted to do my hair.
On the day of my wedding her and her assistant arrived on time and got right to work. I had a total of 11 girls (including myself) and they were done in no time and looked great :)

I love Jeanine and her work! In fact, after my first trial with her I decided to start using her as my go-to “salon” for cuts and highlights because her personality is great and she’s the first stylist I’ve gone to who does a really good job with my hair. She was always very patient with me and my bridesmaids (we all changed our minds a hundred times it seemed) and one bridesmaid in particular who is never satisfied with her hair wound up loving what Jeanine did with her for the wedding and she actually got a lot of compliments about her hair that day. On the morning of my wedding, Jeanine arrived early and stayed on time with everyone. Regarding the overall style, I absolutely LOVED the way my hair turned out. It stayed in all night despite a ton of sweating and dancing and I honestly couldn’t be happier with her or her work. I will continue to go to Jeanine for my hair now that the wedding is done despite the fact that she’s a good hour away from me – that’s how much I like her!

But I think the biggest thing is the Jeanine is just such a nice person. She brought so much positive energy which is exactly what you need on the day of your wedding since getting ready is one of the best parts of the day but you also can't help but be a little anxious. She helped make me feel calm because I was so confident in her work. And when we went to take pictures outside and the wind nearly blew my veil out of my hair and Jeanine was already packing up and on her way home, she came back to make sure everything was still in place. Jeanine did my hair, my mom and my 2 bridesmaids. She did a fantastic job. I went to her for 2 trials and each time she was super accommodating and did exactly what I wanted. She took her time both during the trial and the wedding day. She arrived early and started doing hair right away. Jeanine was wonderful on the day of my wedding and the day of my sister's wedding. She arrived promptly and transformed the hair of every girl in my bridal party who opted to do their hair professionally. Nobody had a problem with their hair falling out or coming undone, it lasted all day and longer. The convenience of having someone come to your home is definitely worth it. I don't get my hair done professionally often so I don't know how to judge prices but Jeanine did a great job in the comfort of my own home and it was worth it to look and feel beautiful for my wedding.

Jeannine is a real sweetheart! She came to the hotel right on time and proceeded to turn me and my bridal party into beauty queens. My hair looked stunning, and the curls lasted ALL night, despite the fact I didn't stop dancing for 5 hours. My mom was soooo happy with what Jeannine did, she was worried because she has very thin short hair, but she looked and felt gorgeous after Jeannine worked her magic. Two of my bridesmaids wanted to make some changes to their original hairstyle, and she was very patient and accommodating, making adjustments and checking to make sure we were happy. I had an idea of what I wanted, showed her two pictures, and asked for her input. She suggested a small change from one of the pictures, tried it out, and it looked great! I could not have been happier. Unfortunately, it was nearly 90 degrees the day of the wedding, so our curls didn't hold up long outside. I would definitely recommend her!

I actually hired Jeanine without a trial. Due to scheduling conflicts (on my end) and a snow storm I decided a trial was never going to happen so I just booked her. I have to admit I was very nervous that I didn't have a trial and that I wouldn't know what to expect until the day of. I have to say I was completely blown away! She did EXACTLY what I wanted and I couldn't have been any happier with the results. She also did 3 of my bridesmaids hair and they looked amazing!

Personality: Jeanine was a sweetheart! She was funny, personable, professional and just a great person.

Prefessionalism: Leading up to the day she had great communication and always got back to me right away. She actually showed up early and was already at the hotel when I arrived. Jeanine was the perfect fit for my bride. She was extremely easy to work with and very professional. She even helped out with a bridesmaid when it wasn't necessary on her part.

Dear brides,

I can not begin to tell you how many compliments my bridesmaids I had received on our hair. Jeanine was extremely prompt on the day of my wedding. She styled my hair, my mother's hair, 4 bridesmaids and a flowergirl in little over 3 hours! Her prices were the best I had found and her work was beautiful, clean and elegant.

Jeanine had also met with me twice for two trials, until I finally decided on the hairstyle I wanted for the big day. The styles she had created were so beautiful and difficult to choose from.

I found NJHAIRDESIGNS on the wedding wire and I contacted Jeanine. Jeanine was a pleasure to meet and work with. We set up a trial, I kinda knew what I wanted(i needed some of my hair to cover tattoo). Mind you I have thick, dry,heavy,frizzy long hair. When Jeanine was done it was smooth with shine. 3/4 of my hair was up in curls and the rest down I LOVED IT! just what i wanted. The day of my wedding she was on time, helpful, 2 of my bridesmaids got their hair done and they also loved their hair. helped my 3rd maid who got her hair done by someone else Jeanine fixed it and it needed a fix. I have to tell you if you can book Jeanine do it just a great person who dose a great job. She made me feel confort on a day that I was a basket case, I have to say Jeanine thank you you made me look like a princess! Girls stop looking Jeanine is it! THANK YOU! I was extremely happy with Jeanine's work, from the hair trial to the wedding day. I had a very large wedding party, and she worked with each person to create the hairstyle they wanted (she did a great job with a variety of styles -- updo's, all down, half down) -- they all looked great! I had a very specific idea of what I wanted for my hair -- I showed her a photo of the hairstyle, and she created it exactly. The style lasted all day, but wasn't stiff or over-done -- couldn't have been happier with it. As a bonus, she was the most affordable on-location artist I could find, and I don't think anyone could have done a better job. She also responds very quickly to emails and is really personable.

Jeanine was hired by my sister-in-law to do her hair and the bridal party's hair for her wedding in 2004. We truly all received so many compliments on our hair that day. Not only is she amazing at doing hair...she exceeds in all other areas such as customer service, friendliness, and pricing (just to name a few). I LOVE her and her work so much that I am still a client of hers and it's 2010. Even my 2 small girls(5 and 3) adore her! Trust me...I happen to a very picky person..and I don't write reviews often. I met up with Jeanine for a trial about 3 months before the wedding. She was very creative, extremely personable, and very reasonably priced to boot! Jeanine did such an amazing job on my hair during the trial that I booked her for my wedding day hair before I even left the trial!! On the day of my wedding Jeanine did the hair for myself as well as 8 bridesmaids!!! All of our hair looked AMAZING!!!! I, as well as my girls, were EXTREMELY impressed with Jeanine's work, and 12 hours later, through the rain and sleet all day, and dancing the night away, my hair STILL looked AMAZING at the end of the night!!!! Jeanine is an absolute pleasure to work with! She addressed all my concerns regarding my hair and made sure that not one hair was left standing. I have thick and heavy hair and I am absolutely amazed that my updo did not fall or move out of place all day! In fact, the next morning my hair was still in place!! She travels to you which is great! I also loved how she did not require a minimum # of girls for hair!! You have no idea how much that put me at ease! Not everyone wanted to get their hair done and I've heard of other stylists requiring a minimum in order to travel to you. I highly recommend Jeanine!

Jeanine did such a wonderful job for my wedding. One of my bridesmaids had her hair done elsewhere on my wedding day & she hated it! Jeanine ended up fixing it for her no questions asked.
My hair came out exactly like I wanted it. We had done a trial a month prior so there were no concerns if I would like it on my wedding day..I would reccomend anyone to hire Jeanine. You wont regret it!

I would definitely recommend Jeanine in a heartbeat! She's very prompt in returning emails, she was a good-sport about driving to my parents house at 5AM (I had a morning wedding) and her prices were very reasonable. Not only did she do a fantastic job on mine and my bridesmaids and mom's hair but she helped to put me at ease the morning of the big day. She was very flexible with requests the morning of -- from me change my hairstyle from my trial, to one of my bridesmaid's request to change the style a little bit, to one of my other bridesmaid's deciding to do her own hair. Overall, she does amazing work, is very profession and a delight to work with!

I had heard great things about Jeanine when she did my friend's wedding in 2007 so when my friend Jaime's wedding came up, I didn't hesitate to suggest Jeanine. Her prices are very reasonable, and she drove all the way down to where we were--Eatontown. So convenient. We were all so very happy with her and that's why I give her such high ratings across the board. Jaime's hair came out great and even when Jeanine thought that maybe Jaime was iffy about it, she did not hesitate to say she would do it over again if Jaime wasn't 100% happy with it. Us 4 bridesmaids were also extremely happy with our hair. Our curls stayed all night even after dancing and sweating and being out in the heat for pictures. My wedding is going to be next year and I will definitely be calling on Jeanine to do my hair then as well!

Jeanine was great. At my first trial, she was extremely patient with me and came up with a few different styles. Since I'm very sensitive about my hair, and I was unsure about a headpiece that I purchased after the first trial, I requested a second trial. She remained so very patient and professional and put my fears to ease with my headpiece. On the wedding day, everything came out perfect. Plus, she was so nice and sweet with my baby nephew, who was acting a bit crazy that day. I would recommend her to anyone.

Working with Jeanine was great. She is very easy to get along with and all of my girls were happy with their hair the day of my wedding. Jeanine was very accommodating and reliable. The day of my trial I got stuck in really bad traffic and I had to cancel on her last minute. She worked me into her schedule for 2 days later. Also, I got married in the middle of a hurricane, but Jeanine still traveled to the venue to get the girls and I ready for my wedding day.

Jeanine was excellent to work with. She was professional, reliable, and prompt. She listened to what I wanted to look like like on my wedding day and was able to provide me with that style for my hair. My hair looked fantastic! I highly recommend her.
