The Best Wedding Band ever

The band leaders met with us several times to determine exactly what our vision was. they were professional and accommodating. They had a great selection of music and played all our favorites and then some. We selected music for our ceremony and first dance that they did not have on their list and they were excellently performed. We could not have been any happier with our choice of bands. The dance floor was filled all night, We received so many compliments on the band from our guests. The attention to detail was amazing and made our celebration so special. We had one band member play the piano during our cocktail party, which started the night our perfectly. I would recommend this band to anyone who is planning a wedding, they will not disappoint and will help you realize your personal vision.

Highlight of our wedding

Working with Nite-Time was a true pleasure. They were flexible and accommodating and they are extremely talented musicians. Most importantly, they made our special day even more special! They were a highlight of our wedding -- both the ceremony and reception. I could not speak more highly of them!

Versatile and Jammin' Band!

Yves was amazing to work with, from the beginning he was willing to customize our wedding music to our needs. We ended up having them do acoustics during the ceremony and cocktail hour, then DJ and then band for the dancing. I do not know what other band in New York can provide you a DJ, Band and acoustics!

We knew the band would be perfect after we saw them perform at another event. Yves and Amy even learned a few songs that we wanted to be played. We cannot say enough good things about them. If you are looking for a band that will get everyone dancing - this is the band for you!

Yves and the whole Nite-Time band were fantastic. They kept our guests dancing the whole night and everyone kept commenting how much they were enjoying the music. I would recommend Nite-Time for anyone's wedding!

We used Nite-Time for our wedding in the fall of 2017 and received many compliments on our band choice. The dance floor was filled all night. We saw them perform at a wedding we previously attended and it was the best audition we could have received. Once we started researching prices of other bands, we knew there was only one phone call to make. The owner/band member Yves met with us before the wedding to go over our do's and don'ts playlist selected from their ample list and they even learned several songs we requested. They nailed every song. I think it would be hard to find a better blend of quality and price.

Ok...So...My husband and I had a USA Wedding Soiree for my daughter and son-in-law who had been married in the south of France. Nite Time was the entertainment we wanted and so hoped for. OMG...They were available!!! Our guests that evening... family, friends, and the British groom's family from the UK... raved all night about Nite Time, Amy and Yves turned our party into a gala celebration! Let me paraphrase the Four Seasons: "Oh what a band, oh what a night ." They are not good;They are GREAT...three words...FAB--U- LOUS !

Nite Time did an AMAZING job at our wedding. Yves was flexible, easy to talk to, and the band even learned a couple of new songs on our request. Everybody got up on the dance floor and came up to us afterwards raving about the band. One of our groomsmen even booked them for their wedding. Nite Time was much more inexpensive than most other bands that we had looked at, but they did a phenomenal job and I'm sure were much better than bands that were asking for much more. We will never forget our wedding night and how great it was, and Yves and Nite Time were a main reason why. Highly, highly recommended!!!!

We hired Nite-Time for our wedding. We wanted music that was going to get people dancing but didn't want a wedding band that sounded like a "wedding band" which we came across a lot!
Nite-Time had an amazing repertoire and then even learned the song we wanted for our first dance. They were a pleasure to work with and made our event so so special.

Nite Time is a great party band! I found them through an alumni event I went to at Columbia. They were so memorable I asked them to play at my wedding, several years later. Nite Time has a huge repertoire of songs they can play, and this makes everyone happy. We had lots of guests up and dancing throughout the night. Everyone commented on how good the band was. They were also extremely professional. I would highly recommend them!

Nite-time is the best! They first performed at my 50th birthday party and we all knew when my daughter’s wedding came around we would be looking for them, a few years later. A few guests have used them after attending these parties a true test of how good they are. Throughout the year, I get emails that ask when is our next party with “Nite-Time”.
Yves and Amy and the band are truly talented performers that not only rock a party but make it truly memorable. If you want a wedding and have people dance all night they are the band. They make it hard to sit, with a range of songs and styles that every age group loves.
For the wedding, last minute, they were emailed an old song that my daughter and her husband wanted for their first dance, they learned it almost overnight and they performed it with such flair and talent. A mix of Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett singing and on drums.
Spent more on music less on anything else.

It was a live band with mix of DJ and very affordable.

I literally can not say enough wonderful things about Nite-Time! They completely rocked at our wedding a month ago. People were out on the dance floor all night and the music was great. When planning your wedding, one of the biggest concerns is entertainment. You want good food, free flowing booze and a band to keep your guests on the dance floor. You need to look no further with Nite-Time! Nite-Time was recommended to me from a college acquaintance and they did not disappoint. Yves was so easy going and great to work with. He accommodated all our requests from learning songs, making sure every song we wanted to be played at the wedding got played and even had the band back up my friends in a tradition they do singing "You've Lost That Loving Feeling". Everyone raved about the band and they continue to let us know what a great time they had. I highly recommend using Nite-Time for your event. You will keep everyone rocking on the dance floor all night!

Yves and Amy are so amazing to work with! They played at my brothers wedding 8 years ago and when I contacted them for my wedding it was like a big family reunion! Yves was so helpful and easy to work with and both him and Amy had the best ideas to make our ceremony and reception personal and fun. Everyone danced the night away and commented on how much they loved Nite-time. I would highly recommend them for any event. They played such an integral role in making our day so special and fun! Till the next wedding...Still have 3 younger siblings to marry off :)

Yves and his group delivered... they kept the party rocking hours, well past midnight.
They even learned a few new tunes that we requested.

Nite-Time was incredible!!! They were without a doubt the most memorable part of our wedding, and our guests came away raving. One said, "I want to throw a party just so I can have them there."

We wanted a band that would keep the dance floor busy -- with Nite-Time, we got the liveliest dance floor I'd ever seen at a wedding, as they skipped effortlessly from soul to rock to pop. We got exactly the playlist we were hoping for, and we came away deeply impressed by both Nite-Time's talent and their professionalism.

Can't recommend these folks highly enough. They are fantastic.

WOW! This group is flawlessly fantastic! Yves impressed us from the start with his professionalism, kind words, and prompt responses. They have a wedding worksheet that helps you think about all those things you would never think of, and they planned the perfect live playlist for every moment of the evening. The band got the party going, and were extremely flexible with our last minute toasts and other bits and pieces throughout the evening, such as a slideshow. Amazing value for money - this crew is not to be missed! And they even learned how to sing and play our first dance song - All I Want is You (Juno soundtrack).

Nite-Time is awesome! They are so talented! We first heard Nite-Time while attending our friends' wedding and immediately booked them to play ours. Amy and the other vocalists have such great voices, and the group really knows how to play. They are an excellent band and they kept our party going - all of our guests loved them!

Yves and the band are a pleasure to work with. They were extremely accommodating and learned a number of new songs for our wedding (ranging from Pearl Jam to Joe Cocker to Michael Jackson to country). They did an amazing job playing all of the requested songs.

The band brought extra energy to the room and played so well. I cannot say enough positive things and highly recommend booking them!

Love Love Love!!! I actually want to go out of my way to find gigs for this band! What can I say, they learned new music, they really dressed the part for a masquerade wedding! they played the crowd, and they were amazing! We interviewed tons of bands and traveled to the whole tri-state area to hear them. I am not a fan of "female lead singers" and their lead singer was by far the best lead singer (male or female) I have ever heard! I have no words this band is amazing! Not only that, but their price was even more amazing than they were! HIRE THIS BAND! Look no further! Our guests never sat in their seats! They were up dancing and partying all night long!

We recently hired nite time for our wedding reception - and the band was fantastic. We heard (and are still hearing) endless comments from our guests about how great they sounded, as was evidenced by a crowded dance floor all night. They sounded amazingly good on a lot of different types of songs, had a great rapport with the crowd, were excellent at controlling the level of sound (wasn't too loud at all), and were extremely accomodating to our song requests. Yves was great to work with and very organized/professional through out the whole process. Prior to our wedding we saw them play a much larger venue and also had the same experience (great music and crowd was into it).

Overall we couldn't have been happier, and I would strongly recommend Nite Time for any event.

Nite-Time killed! We could not be happier with them. We were lucky enough to hear then when they played a friends birthday party. And when it came time for us to find a band for our wedding, there was no question we would ask them to play. Yves was great! Very open and easy to work with. We really only asked for two songs both of which they knew and played. They kept things moving beautifully. And the dance floor was jam packed the entire night. Even a week later friends let us know how great they were. If you hire Nite-Time you absolutely can not go wrong!

I would work with nite-time again in a heartbeat. From the beginning all the way through the wedding day, Yves was responsive, friendly, and accommodating; the band was willing to learn a special request for us; and they were far more affordable than any other band I talked to! And while many things in this world are true to the "you get what you pay for" cliche, in this case, nite-time is a huge exception: they were terrific and in no way did I feel like I'd sacrificed quality for the sake of saving money. They sounded great, played a fantastic variety of music that appealed to the multi-generational guests, and everyone was on the dance floor the whole time. They even let my new husband sing a verse of his favorite karaoke song :)

Hire nite-time -- I guarantee you'll be glad you did.

We can't say enough great things about Nite-Time. They did an amazing job at our wedding and we're still getting compliments on them. Yves, the band manager was so flexible when it came to our wedding being moved due to hurricane Sandy. He actually called me before I could call him just to see if we were ok and if we needed anything. He said, "we'll be there no matter where your wedding is". They did a great job on the songs we asked them to learn but also have a great list to choose from. They definitely help make our wedding amazing!

My husband and I kept missing opportunities to see them live before our wedding (they gave us multiple opportunities, but we could not make them). Their samples online gave us enough confidence to know they'd be amazing despite not being able to meet them before our wedding and boy did they deliver! We danced ALL night long and many of our guests gave rave reviews when we came back from our honeymoon.

Two days before the wedding we realized they were scheduled to set up as guests were arriving and they graciously came earlier in the day (about an hour trip for them at least) to set up and sound check. Yves also traded multiple phone conversations with our lighting people and helped save us a lot of money on speakers and other unnecessary equipment the lighting people were going to charge us.

ATMOSPHERE NOTES: Our wedding was at 5 pm on my grandmothers private estate in May on a very hot day under a clear top tent.

These guys totally rock!! So many people came up at our wedding and told me they were the best wedding band they had every heard. They are friendly, responsive, professional and read the crowd perfectly. People were dancing the entire time. I can't recommend them enough. Totally made the night!!

The minute Yves and the band started playing, they had everyone up on their feet and dancing. They instantly were able to judge what songs our guests were responding to and performed the perfect mix of music to please everyone, old and young. No one wanted them to stop. We were practically kicking people out! We could not have asked for better entertainment for our granddaughter’s wedding.

I cannot even begin to describe how impressed I (and EVERYONE at my wedding... from young to old ) was with Nite-Time! It was a pleasure from the beginning. Yves really listened to what I wanted and quickly understand my vision. Nite-Time's song list was incredible, and they were also totally open to learning new music. Yet, there wasn't a song I suggested, that they didn't already know! I NEVER expected my wedding to be such a PARTY... and it was! I completely owe that to Nite-Time. Working with Yves & Amy and the Nite Time Band as our Wedding Reception Entertainment was by far the best investment and ultimate choice that took our wedding to a whole new level! I have no doubt that this amazing band was the reason for comments from our guests such as, “Your wedding was the most entertaining and fun event that I have ever attended,” and “I kept forgetting that you had a live band, it’s like the real artists were playing live for EVERY song,” and “Your band members were the best performers we’ve ever seen live…let alone at a wedding! RIDICULOUS!” I could go on and on, but words would not be enough to describe the satisfaction and thrill of the experience we had with Nite-Time.

From the very start, Yves, the band manager and drummer, was extremely professional and easy to work with. He was very accessible, responding to my numerous emails and calls with my questions and concerns no matter how small. He had a great balance of making suggestions and also allowing for our own special input and ideas. My wife and I had very specific requests, all of which Nite-Time accommodated. From a very specific song list for special events throughout the reception to even a groom’s performance with myself as the lead singer/guitar with the band! What my wife and I loved was how enthusiastic Yves and Amy were about their music as we were about our music choices and how confident they were in their own product. They openly invited us to reach out to former clients for feedback, but what sealed the deal was seeing the band perform live. They graciously pulled some strings to invite us to watch them in action at an exclusive wedding at the Yale Club in mid-town Manhattan. Another time, they even held a separate special event for potential clients at a local venue. By seeing them live, in their performing element will show anyone who knows music how professional, talented, and versatile the band can be. On top of playing amazingly seamless transitions, their repertoire was as vast as a 300 GB ipod. From Taio Cruz to James Brown, or even ZZ Top to the Temptations, the band could do it all and without any drop in performance level. The showmanship of all the band members was truly unbelievable! Amy, the band’s lead singer, carries a song and intrigues the audience with her incredible vocal range. At one point, the lead guitarist put his guitar upside down on his head while shredding out an incredible riff as the crowd went wild! Those are the types of things that make people say, “Your wedding reception was THE BEST!” and you know they really mean it.

NiteTime made my wedding amazing! Yves was fantastic leading up to the wedding--he was swift to respond to all of my inquiries, was professional, suggested ideas and gave excellent guidance, and worked with me in learning a couple of songs that were important to my husband and me but were not in the band's repertoire. From the cocktail hour music exactly how I wanted it, to a rocking dance party after dinner, Nite Time kept the crowd happy, playing songs to keep people dancing, and it was a jolly and happy night. I couldn't recommend them any more, and I'm happy to provide more detail to anybody who inquires.

Not only did I think they did a fantistic job, but many of my friends and family said they were the best band they ever saw at a wedding. they were able to play music ranging from lady gaga and black eyed peas to the beatles and bruce springteen. they handled all of our requests and finished with the song I wanted the night to end on: My Way by Frank Sinatra.....if you choose them for your wedding you will not be disappointed.

We cannot recommend Nite-Time strongly enough. From a professional perspective, Nite-Time gets high marks. We were always able to make contact, always received a prompt reply, and on the big day, the crew was on time and smoothly integrated with all the other moving parts involved in a wedding reception. From a performance perspective, we (and all the guests) were blown away by how great Nite-Time plays as a group. Featuring highly talented musicians at each position and two spot-on vocalists, our dance floor was jammed all night. The band is THE key to keeping energy high and ensuring a fun party. Nite-Time exceeded all expectations. Book with confidence. Really, they're great. 5 stars across the board. Bonus: We had a special request for our first dance song. Nite-Time learned the song and performed it wonderfully.

Yves and Amy were extremely professional and great to work with. Their playlist was very extensive, and any song that was not on the list, they were willing to learn and played perfectly. All of our guests were up dancing the entire party and everyone was raving about the band. Not only did Nite-Time make it easy for me to book them, they made sure that they satisfied all my needs. They were flexible with times, even on the night of the event, and 100% professional. Aside from all these qualities, they were an amazing band. They played all the songs I requested and performed them amazingly well! They didn't have pauses in between the songs, they just made all the songs flow into one another for an hour and a half straight. I have never heard a band that is as good as they are. All the guests, young and old, were astounded by how amazing they were and couldn't stop dancing all night long!

WOW! What a band! They were amazing! They made my party an EVENT! We never stopped dancing! The next day my guests kept calling me telling me what a good time they had and how great the band was, honestly this band was the highlight!
The entire booking process was painless. I have heard horror stories from friends and was nervous about getting "taken" or promised something more than would be delivered. My experience with Nite Time was a snap. All of my questions and concerns were addressed in minutes. Yves was available to me right up to the last note that he played (yes! he plays in the band too! ) and honored all of my silly requests with ease. I wanted some specific songs to be played that were not on the band's list. They made a point to play them for me! Other bands i went to said they could not do that but Nite Time went the extra mile!

Having a band was a must for our wedding, the next question was how not to break the bank with that one thing!

Nite-Time Band was fun, affordable and set the awesome pace for our wedding. They can adapt to whatever style you want your wedding to be is the best part. We wanted to have a party where everyone from 0-100 can dance and have fun. They played the songs we requested, even took requests from our guests and learned songs that I am sure they have never heard of for our ceremony and first dance.

Yves (Band head) was so nice, accommodating and understanding. He even met in person to make me feel at ease. :)
I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fun wedding that everyone can enjoy!!!!!

Nite Time was amazing! They far exceeded our expectations. Pre-wedding, they were flexible and open to planning with me from afar (I live in Spain but our wedding was in NY). Yves, the band leader, was the perfect combination of attentive and laid back. They were also willing to learn an entirely new song for us. Since we had a lot of Spanish guests attending, we requested a Spanish song figuring it was a total long shot. Come the evening of the wedding, they totally nailed the song and even prolonged it since everyone was dancing! Overall they were fantastic. They played all the song we wanted and they sounded amazing doing it. They have incredible versatility and all our guests were thrilled with the music. I very enthusiastically reccomend them.

Yves and the band are pure professionals and they sound great! Their main strength is that they have multiple singers and can play many styles of music very well. They played big band, doo-wop, classic rock, 80's and current dance music at our wedding and it all sounded great. There was something for everyone plus they took requests and even learned new songs specifically for us. This really made our wedding extra special! Many guests commented on how good the band was and the dance floor was packed for most of the evening. Good wedding bands are hard to find but Nite-Time is surely one of them!

Poor Experience

I hired Nite-Time because of all the amazing reviews I had read about them, their YouTube videos which made them look and sound amazing and their pricing. The lead singer was very responsive, seemed organized and willing to help with any requests. They made me feel very confident that they would make my wedding day extra special. Unfortunately, they fell short..

Ceremony: The music was VERY low! My husband told me that he could not hear music the entire time he was up at the alter or when I walked down the aisle. This was such disappointing news because I picked a special song meant for him! They didn’t start playing our recessional song until we were half way down the aisle!

Cocktail hour: The lead singer and I discussed a piano and guitarist but clearly had a misunderstanding to the fact that no one would be singing. This was a lack of communication. They took such a long time to set up that one of my guests actually started to play music from a speaker. Once they did finally start playing, the music once again was so low they could barely be heard.

Reception: This is where we had major issues. The order of first dances and speeches was completely wrong which made it very uncomfortable for myself and my bridal party, constantly trying to keep up and be flexible. Right after speeches they took a very long break and another one of my guests approached them asking them to please start playing again. When they did finally start playing again the female vocalist got upset and started crying because “someone got tequila on her guitar”. She basically had a temper tantrum and walked off stage refusing to play. I was so embarrassed and extremely frustrated. After another long break she came back without her guitar and finished by just singing and not playing and instrument.

If your group is looking to have a good time on the dance floor, this might not be the band for you- they seemed upset that we were having fun and dancing.

We had heard Nite-Time at a friend of our's wedding and thought they were great so we hired them for our own wedding. We had a special case where only 2 of the band members were flying across country and assembling the rest of the band there. We did have a much lower budget than they wanted to fly the full band across country (15k) but they worked with us to make it work.
Unfortunately we ended up being very disappointed with the band. It''s the number one thing we would have changed about our wedding. The band that was assembled in CA was unable to play up-to-date music due to not all of the band members being familiar with modern songs. They mostly played oldies which pleased the older members of the wedding but we felt strongly about modern songs. Although they still performed with professionalism, they were not clear (or it was unanticipated) that they wouldn't be able to play current songs. We did request that but unfortunately, outside of 1-2 songs, they were unable to deliver.
We went to a wedding in NYC with a different band the weekend after and they were playing such modern pop songs, people couldn't not dance. They were a magnet for people to be on the dance floor vs. Nite-time who we felt people had to force themselves to dance to the music because every other song a good portion of the dance floor would clear due to oldies being played.
We understand we are a unique sample as not all of the band members from Nite-time were there. None-the-less we would have undoubtedly changed them out if we could have regardless of the effort. If we had a heads up about what the song selection would have been, we'd have made a different decision.
Luckily everything else about the wedding we enjoyed.

Poor Experience

We booked Nite-Time Entertainment after hearing them play at a friend’s wedding. While they sounded great at ours, we had a very poor customer service experience with them.

Their professionalism was severely lacking. Leading up to our wedding, the band leader was late to every call we planned which was frustrating. On those calls, we reviewed the song list and the run of show for our big day. Unfortunately, the ROS we discussed was not followed at all during our wedding. Song breaks we requested didn’t happen, the break schedule was not followed and the introductions of our wedding party and of us as the new Mr. & Mrs. did not happen as discussed. They didn’t play a song while our maid of honor and best men came into the room, they didn’t ask the guests to stand while we were introduced, and they never invited any guests to join in on the dancing.

We had previously discussed the Covid precautions our venue was taking, and we even gave the band the opportunity a month prior to back out if they weren’t comfortable performing due to the pandemic. We also noted that we and our guests would be dancing throughout the night as NJ does allow it - near tables even if not a formal dancefloor. They informed us they were fine with dancing and the precautions our venue had in place and that we could follow the ROS we had discussed. But when it was 2+ hours into our reception and the band had not played any dance sets, I (the bride) approached the band leader to ask him to start playing music our guests could dance to. The band leader then proceeded to yell at me that they would not be playing upbeat dance music as there is no dancing allowed in NJ. This was untrue and not what was discussed ahead of our big day. Since I was almost in tears over being yelled at, my husband - the groom - went to speak with them and request that they begin to play dance music as we had planned and were paying for. The band leader then proceeded to yell at the groom “I guess we have to!” and stormed away from him. These interactions were in front of guests and our parents, prompting people to ask if we were okay which was embarrassing and frustrating.

The nasty and unprofessional behavior unfortunately did not stop there. The band singer yelled at multiple guests who tried to request songs and the band leader fought with our Maître d. It seems there was some miscommunication between our venue and the band regarding timing for their meals, but there is a much better way to handle this then to yell in front of our wedding guests.

This whole situation was uncalled for and could have been avoided since we had multiple calls leading up to the wedding and a final review call just 3 days prior. No couple should ever have to deal with a vendor that they are paying, yelling at them on the wedding day in front of their family and friends. While the band was talented and sounded good when they played, I would not recommend hiring them for your wedding as they were so unprofessional and caused distress during our reception.

Nite Time was a huge disappointment. Though talented, Yves was not a good businessman and not someone I could trust, for two big reasons. First, we had explicitly put in the contract that there was to be continuous live music, which we discussed to mean no iPod. Yet after a few songs, the iPod went on and wound up being on for about half of the reception. I had one guest come up to me and ask "is the band going to play any music?" and at one point when guests were leaving, had to find Yves and ask him to play again so the wedding did not end an hour early.
Second, when signing the contract we had discussed the schedule, which was to include music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and explained that we did not know our exact timing, i.e. we did not know exactly how long our ceremony would be, etc. Yves reassured us that he was flexible within our 5 hours. Ten days before the wedding, after sending Yves the final schedule, he alerted me that the reception was set to start 20 minutes earlier than anticipated and wanted $600 dollars to cover it, even though the total time was still 5 hours. I added 10 minutes to the cocktail hour and asked Yves to meet me halfway, and he said the most he could give me was five extra minutes. I could not express my true frustration, because I did not trust him to take it out on me by giving a less than stellar performance. Though the music that was actually played was great, I cannot help but wonder whether Yves put on the iPod because he did not get the $600 he tried squeezing out of me just ten days before the wedding.
Planning a wedding is stressful, and you need to have vendors who you trust to have your best interests at heart. With the exception of Nite Time, all my other vendors gave 150% effort. Everyone else went above and beyond to make my day as perfect as it could be, while Nite Time actually did less than they promised they would and barely enough to get by. I would not recommend them.
