We are so thrilled we hired Nightlife Entertainment to DJ our wedding! Everything went so great, surpassed our expectations! Pete was continually checking in with us about guest requests, helping us stay on schudule for the day and making announcements and accommodating unexpected additions to the day, like bagpipes! We appreciated him working with venue staff and the photographers to coordinate special moments so we could just enjoy the day without worrying about keeping everyone on the same page. The ceremony music was exactly as we had planned and timed perfectly. Reception music was on point with the mood of the guests. I never saw the dance floor empty! Thank you for giving our guests a fun atmosphere to enjoy our reception. Highly recommend Nightlife Entertainment for weddings!

Our DJ, AJ, did an AMAZING job! We had lots of non-traditional requests for our ceremony music, and he did a fantastic job!

He took requests, incorporated music I hadn’t though of, and used lots of the recommendations I sent. It was the perfect blend of “us” and “just what the party ordered”.

We can't say enough good things about Nightlife Entertainment! They were responsive and professional from the start. We had Pete as our DJ and he was great. We purposely requested a DJ who would have very little involvement (talking over the mic a lot, ramping up the crowd, etc.) because that's just not our style, and Pete totally respected that. He played exactly from the genres we asked him to, but still made sure to keep checking in with me personally and frequently throughout the night.

We did a lot of research online for the best company, and our experience with Nightlife paid off! We had a "destination wedding" in Duluth (about two hours away from home) and Nightlife was still more competitive price-wise then any other vendor in the city.

Dj was very professional and kept at the party moving. We wanted people on the dance floor majority of the night and he delivered. Sounds was amazing and light show was high quality.

We hired Nightlife Entertainment for our wedding in December and everything was awesome! Our DJ Matt played our ceremony music and our dinner and dance. Everyone had a blast and he took a ton of requests. The company was easy to work with and had a great event planner for songs and other special requests. We had a wonderful night and I would certainly recommend them again!

Our DJ was Justin, and he did an awesome job! We have revived tons of complements on how much fun the dance was. I will definitely be recommending nightlife to everyone I know.

We hired Nightlife Entertainment DJ's at our wedding last Saturday. I couldn't have been happier with everything. We originally had a friend whom promised to DJ and backed out 3 weeks before the wedding.

We had picked up a flyer from a wedding fair over a year ago and Joe at Nightlife honored the price even though it had expired.

We signed a contract 19 days before our wedding and Nightlife did everything possible to ensure we had a wonderful time. They helped us with the planner and music. The DJ was super friendly and we felt very comfortable with everything.

They did a great job and we are very happy!

The dj was amazing. Everything was done to our specific requests and the company was very easy to work with. The response time from the manager was unbelievably fast; even in the evening when I emailed with questions.

Nightlife was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

We had an awesome time with Nightlife and our DJ Alex. They moved equipment around for us, set up slide shows and even helped move tables when we were ready for the dance.

All of our music was played and Alex took a ton of requests. The dance went by so fast and everyone was mad at 12:30am when it was over. We would have partied all night if the hotel would have let us!

Nightlife was great to work with and the price was awesome. A+++

Our DJ was a pleasure to work with. He helped us create the exact kind of evening we wanted for our guests. He was polite and professional, easy going and went with the flow even when we tried some unconventional evening games. We would (and have) recommended Matt to our friends!

NIghtlife was great! They were recommended to us by another couple and I'm so glad we went with them! He listened to all of our requests and wants but was still flexible enough where he made us happy and made sure ours guests' needs were met and they were having a good time. Plus, the pricing was so affordable! I will definitely be recommending them!

We just want to give a HUGE thank you to Pete. He was so great. Our venue ran a little behind schedule and Pete helped make sure things were going smoothly and all the big events were getting done on time. I don't know what we would have done without his help. He really did a great job and we truly appreciate everything. He was very flexible and helped ensure we had an amazing night. We also were a little late on getting back to him on a grand march song and he picked out a great song and got it all figured out for us. We defiantly needed a DJ who could take charge and Pete was able to do that. We already had enough going on we didn’t need another thing to worry about and he helped make sure we didn’t need to track him down for anything or worry about staying on schedule or remembering anything. He was very attentive and was checking in with us through the night to ensure we were having a great time. I am just very thankful for all his hard work and want him to know how much we appreciated everything. We will defiantly recommend Pete to our friends.

Great job! we had Rafael, and he keep the people on the floor all night (well actually until were kick out) but was an amazing job. He was very responsible an asking always if everything was OK. This people are Professional, dont look any more!

Our DJ- Peter D was fantastic, at 1 AM when the venue closed us down there were stilkl over 100 people dancing which was amazing! He was professional, helpful and kept us on our timeline. The value was GREAT, we got a special that was $595 for the whole night- truley outstanding.

Everything went just as planned! Alex was our DJ and he was so friendly and helpful with the whole evening. He set-up early and even changed rooms at the last minute. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone had a blast! Price was great as well!

They did great! DJ played all of our requests and took some from guests. The music was wonderful and the event flow was just as we wanted. He even stayed later than we contracted them. Great service!

Everything was AWESOME! Pete did an awesome job at our wedding reception. He played great music, kept our guests entertained and wasn't over the top or goofy! People danced all night and Pete stayed late!

Joe Lang was perfect. There were at least 20 people on the dance floor at any given time. Even people that said they would not be out there because they hate dancing. Great mix of songs.

I used this DJ company for my wedding and was very satisfied! He played all the songs we requested and tried his hardest to keep people dancing. The equipment produced great quality as well! During the speeches, the mic was cutting out which was a bummer but he came up quickly with a new mic to finish the speeches off with. He also checked in with me regularly through the night, letting me know when dollar dances, tosses, etc. were coming. I appreciated this so my groom and I were ready to go! Overall, I have no complaints about this company!!

Great customer service and very flexible with our wedding. Everything went great. The DJ (Nick) was awesome to work with. Nick was friendly and very helpful throughout the evening. He did our ceremony as well.

I've never hired a DJ before and I probably won't have to again, but Nightlife was great and made our wedding fun. Everyone had a really good time with the music.

Great service all around! Our reception was tricky and unusual to say the least. We needed music in different locations at different times throughout the evening. Our DJ (can't remember his name) was super friendly and very easy to work with.

The dance went great. All of our songs were played. Nightlife Entertainment was really easy and fun to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ.

Everything went perfect! The DJ was on time and set-up for our grand march. All announcements where loud and clear. The dance floor was packed all night and the majority if not all of my special requests were honored. We've seen Nightlife Entertainment DJ 3 weddings now and they've all been great. Good price too!!!

We found Nightlife while at the Wedding Fair at the Minneapolis Convention center. Even while being overwhelmed by everything going on, the crew we talked to was very helpful with any questions we had. Every time I had to email the company they were always quick to respond. We booked them for our ceremony and reception. Mark, our DJ, was just fantastic!! He called a day or two before our wedding just to clarify all our needs and any special requests we had. He was very professional on the day of our event and was flexible with when we brought our own CD of music for our ceremony, played very specific songs when we asked for them, did not play the songs on our "do not play" list, and when we finally got around to our first dance (having so much fun we lost track of time!) The music was perfect! Our special day is done, but when I hear "our songs" I think of our wedding day and how Nightlife made it just perfect!

We had Nightlife Entertainment at our wedding on 7/10/10. Our DJ Adam was AWESOME! We had several last minute changes that he was happy to facilitate. We danced all night. The music was great and all of our requests were played. Our friends and family had a blast. The company was also very laid back and easy to work with.

We had Nightlife DJ's at our weddin last Saturday (6/12/10). The DJ did a wonderful job playing our requests and making sure the event ran smoothly. The majority of my requests were played and my family/friends danced until 12am. We had a wonderful time!

We used Nightlife's Great Lakes branch for our wedding 2 weeks ago. They were wonderful. Our DJ Joel did our ceremony and reception. Everything went perfect. We gave him very little direction besides a couple requests and he had the crowd dancing all evening.

He even helped to coordinate our seating, cake and everything else you could imagine. Nightlife Entertainment was a great company to work with. I was very happy with the results and will certainly pass their name to anyone I know that is getting married!

We had a great time with Nightlife at our Wedding in April. They were fun, accommodating, and played a great selection of music. Our DJ Tim was very nice and really did a great job making sure we were having a good time.

I also really liked the event planner and the overall feeling I got when first contact Nightlife. I'm glad we used them for our Wedding and I would refer them to anyone!

We booked this company very last minute after another DJ backed out on us. They did everything we asked of them. Our DJ's name was Kenny. He was outgoing, friendly, and very professional. They played all of our requested songs and even stayed a half hour later then they were scheduled.

We were very satisfied with the Nightlife Entertainment.

Nightlife Entertainment did a wonderful job at our wedding! Seth was our DJ. He played every song we wanted, he kept the dance floor full, and he was very polite and easy to work with. We booked Nightlife 9 days prior to our wedding. Our other DJ canceled on us. They got everything together for us and it was a blast. I would refer this company to anyone!

Kenny was great! We had him for our ceremony and everything was perfect. The reception and dance was even better. Our cater had problems with seating so Kenny assisted and had everyone seated and ready to be served in a matter of minutes.

Everyone at the office as very friendly. We even had the DJ manager randomly stop by our reception to make sure everyone was having a blast. I was very happy with Nightlife DJ's. I couldn't have imagined them doing a better job. I think they are a great choice for the price and I will be refering them to all of my friends and family

We had James at our Wedding and for our ceremony on May 2, 2009. Everything was PHENOMINAL! Nightlife did our ceremony and our dance and everything went perfect. James had music playing before the ceremony and was very accommodating throughought the dinner and dance.

We had an older crowd and people actually stayed and danced until after midnight! I was really happy with the service and I would recommend the company to anyone. They also had a cheap price for the whole night!

We had a blast. Our DJ Alex was wonderful. The music was great and Alex played everything we asked him too. He also kept the crowd going until after 12am. We booked Nightlife for our Wedding in Hibbing, MN. The staff was great to work with and our DJ (Tim) was really great. They played all of our music and took a ton of requests from our friends. We were a little concerned with having so many people travel for a Winter Wedding and then not having fun, but everyone stayed really late and danced all night. I am really thankful that we used Tim. He was very professional and not pushy at all. He played every song on my play list and checked in with my husband and I throughout the evening. I would recommend them to anyone!

Nightlife DJ's were perfect! They did our ceremony and reception. Nick the DJ was not only very accommodating and receptive to our need, but he was sexy! Nick played all the songs we requested and kept people dancing all night long. The office staff was very nice too! We had concerns about coordinating our ceremony music. They helped us pick out the right style music and put it in order for our ceremony. This company was wonderful to work with. The price was great too!

Ryan was awesome! He kept people out there dancing all night with little interaction from him. He picked all the right songs and everyone loved him. Also, he stayed all night and it was affordable!

Nightlife was a great value and did a wonderful job at our wedding. We had a lot of people enjoy the music and dancing! There were a few comments that the music was too loud to converse over. Also, there was just a few mistakes for the important event songs, but everything was corrected and the DJ did a wonderful job still.

We had a great time with our DJ Phil. He was polite, focused and very friendly. He made a ton of announcements for us and was very quick to repond to our requests. The dance was great and he had the dance floor packed all night.

We were thrilled with the companies professionalism and the DJ just added to our overall thought of Nightlife Entertainment. A+

We had the opportunity of having Jason DJ our wedding 2 weeks ago (9/20/2014) We had Nightlife provide music for both the ceremony and our reception. Everything was perfect!
In the beginning stages we had met with Pete, and he was very accomodating in when we could meet up to go over the services that Nighlife has to offer. After that meeting, we went ahead and booked them for our special day. They were very professional, and on top of everything.
Jason called a week before our wedding to go over what we wanted from him. We had given him a few directions to go, as far as some of the ceremony music we wanted, and also a few songs we wanted during the reception. After that, we told him to just run with it and use his best discretion as far as what should be played. Needless to say, Jason was great. The ceremony was perfect. The reception was even better. I don't think I saw the dance floor empty at any point in the night!
We had done a lot of research on DJ's leading up to our wedding, and the prices run all across the board. Nightlife was so much cheaper than most DJ's out there, so at first we were skeptical.( I am a true believer in you get what you pay for, so usually I will spend more for "something better"). But I will vouch for them, that they are awesome and would recommend them to anyone in the future. Thank you Jason and Nightlife for being apart of our wedding!

Our wedding reception was a few days ago and it went great! Jason was our DJ and he did a wonderful job of keeping everyone on the dance floor. Everyone was dancing until they kicked us out of our reception hall! He did a great job in helping with things I wasn't sure on and had a lot of suggestions. One small hiccup with a song mix up but it wasn't a big deal. I would recommend him anytime! Great value on the price at 600 for all night music and light show. We had a blast!

Our DJ Alex did a great job working with us. He played good music, followed our request list and event made last minute changes to help with introductions.

I was very happy at the end of the evening and all my friends and family had a wonderful time dancing. I'm glad I hired Nightlife Entertainment!

We had a great time with Nightlife at our wedding last weekend. They were fun and very nice to work with. The DJ Pieter played a great mix of music and was very kind and understanding of our personal situation.

We came upon nightlife entertainment at a wedding show and chose them after speaking with many other DJ services. They gave us the impression that they really wanted us to have the best experience for US, not what the DJ wanted. Yesterday was our reception, the DJ was very professional and willing to take requests, but restrict them if we had chosen for certain types of music to be played. Absolutely no other DJ company that we found could come close to the value we received. We would book the same DJ if we had a chance to do it again.

We used Nightlife based on seeing them at our friends wedding. We are so glad we did! I was a little nervous at first because we had requested a specific DJ whom wasn't available for our date, but our DJ Seth did a fantastic job.

Nightlife was friendly and very quick to respond to our questions. Seth was great to work with. He was very professional and quickly made changes that we requested the day of our wedding.

Our entire reception was a blast and our guest's danced all night long. The music got a tad bit loud at times, but Seth immediatly turned it down when we requested. I would say my experience with Nightlife Entertainment was wonderful!

Nightlife was great at our reception. Alex was accommodating to our needs and played all of our requests. He kept the dance floor packed until after midnight! We were late sending our payment in and they were very understanding. All in all they were one of my best vendors! I would reccommend them to anyone that wants a great DJ!

Nightlife was a great company to work with for our wedding. The DJ they provided was entertaining and helpful. They provided us with a CD of our music after the wedding which is nice to put in a box of memories. Also, the DJ stayed after my husband and I left since our guests and wedding party still wanted to dance. Great service!

Our DJ was great. Flexible with the music when requested. Their online database and event planning guide was excellent. However, I had requested a particular song be played during dinner and it never happened. Being the busy bride, I trusted that my DJ would play it without me having to remind him and so of course i forgot because i was so busy running around and the such. I guess maybe I misunderstood how a DJ works? I dont know. I should have put someone in charge to make sure it happened. Regardless the night was great and everyone raved about it. There were more people dancing than at most weddings i have been to.

They are all very helpful and willing to do anything for you. They made our day run smoothly and made sure all of our guests had a great time. The location was amazing and I loved that we had no issues.

This DJ was very easy to work with. He was fun to talk to when consulting about the music we wanted, the library of music choices was huge and he was responsive to our guests requests. He was also very effective at not playing songs we requested on our "Do not play" list which meant there were no songs I didn't like. The dance floor was busy all night, even got it going again after the lull the dollar dance created.

My DJ was Jason. He provided ceremony music for our outdoor wedding and music during the reception.

Jason contacted me the Sunday before my wedding and made numerous suggestions when I told him I hadn't selected songs for most things yet. He downloaded two songs that I wanted for my ceremony and even located an instrumental version of "I'm a Believer" which I wanted to use, but could not find.

He kept the dance floor full at a small wedding. I wanted this to happen, but didn't expect it would.

Jason was very professional and blended in well at the wedding.

My complaints...
I was told there would be separate sound systems for the ceremony and reception. I paid an extra fee to have him play at the ceremony even though they were in the same location to cover the two sound systems. The DJ only had one system which meant he had to tear everything down, carry it 100 yards to the reception hall, and re set it up. We did not have a break between our ceremony/reception. This meant there was no music for our cocktail hour and the bridal party was left waiting outside for 20 min after we finished pictures until he was set up to introduce us. The DJ really did the best he could considering the circumstances.

We only requested two songs be played at the reception (our parents first dance songs) and neither were played.

Nightlife was great to work with ahead of time and seemed like they would accommodate any request, but the day of the wedding we had a few mistakes made. When announcing our bridal party at the entrance of the reception hall they missed one of our bridesmaids and groomsmen, then they screwed up our father daughter dance, plus there was always a break in between songs. The songs never played continuous. I wasn't very happy with their service. Overall we had a great time at the reception but I wouldn't say it was because of the DJ

The company was very professional, however my DJ was not. I had a wonderful time with my husband picking songs and using the companies playlist tools and had every song down to a tee. However, the day of the wedding I feel like my DJ never read my list. He did not change the music when I was going to walk down the aisle, however he did play the right song for the march. When it came time to introduce the party he announced everyone out of order. The worst part of the night though was when dinner started, he was supposed to call out tables, but instead got up to get his own plate of food and eat while my parents waited for a while and finally excused some guests themselves, I went up to the DJs table to ask him to call table numbers and he said yes. But it was too late and everyone just did what they wanted. My father asked him as well to call tables and why he took some food before the parents and he said it was better for him to eat before hand. I'm a pretty chill person, but it really tipped my boat to see my guests wait so long and awkwardly to get their food. I had written a list with details, but feel like he didn't read it. The rest of the night was ok. I was hoping for more songs from my playlist to be played, but that's minimal compared to the rest. One final word and I'll be done. Over the phone I told my DJ personally that he could where casual wedding attire, like khaki pants. He wore a blue plaid short sleeve button down shirt, open, with a graphic tee under it. It was way too casual. I'm sad I paid money. I wish things could be resolved.

This is the WORST DJ Company EVER! I was so upset with everything! First they messed up my invoice about 4 different times telling me I never talked with them so I would have to forward them the emails they sent me confirming my date. They would not let me meet with the DJ to go over the music for my ceremony and reception they just had me fill out a form. So after I talked with the DJ on the phone and give him a detailed list of how I wanted the music at my ceremony and a CD with all the music in order and ready to go he still messed it up! I was SO upset! You only get married once and he messed it up. Then when we get to the reception he messed up the wedding party introductions and his speakers went out. And to top it off the DJ showed up in JEANS AND A TSHIRT! I cant begin to describe how awful they are! DO NOT USE THIS DJ!!!!

Nightlife Entertainment left us so disappointed. Our dj was terrible. He read off of a piece of paper, was monotone, no life to his personality, botched our names (common names!!), allowed moments of no music playing/dead air, choppy transitions, came off as rude and bored, was on Facebook, and even snapped at me!! He didn't play the wedding march song until after we had already gotten to the end of the aisle. Our usher had to step in and show the dj how to do his job!! It wasn't until he stepped in that our dance started to go more smoothly.

We are NOT recommending this company to any of our engaged friends and family.
