Amazing Hair and Makeup

Nicole and Julie were just the absolute best! As someone who doesn't usually wear makeup, hair and makeup was one of my main worries for my wedding, but Nicole and her team made it so easy. From the first phone consultation, Nicole made me feel so comfortable and listened to. I expressed how much difficulty I was having finding someone who does natural makeup and she assured me that she knew EXACTLY what I was talking about. The trial we did 3 months before our wedding was so great. We were able to work with our looks and make any tweaks we needed. Both Nicole and Julie are real artists and work with you to craft your perfect look! I loved how both my wife and I's looks were very different, but they made the two styles go together so well while capturing our individual personalities. She also did my Mother-In-Law and Sister-In-Law's hair and makeup and was able to get us all done in just under 3 hours.

If you're looking for someone in the NY/NJ area to do your makeup and hair look no further. Nicole will absolutely make the look of your dreams happen. We could not have been happier with her work! Now I just have to figure out an event that I can hire her again for.

Highly recommend, wonderful to work with + super talented!

Nicole and her team are extremely talented and were the perfect fit for hair and makeup for my wedding! Having seen her artistry firsthand twice as a bridesmaid, it was an easy decision to reach out for my own bridal look—and every interaction with Nicole reaffirmed that choice!

Nicole was patient, kind, and so knowledgeable throughout the process. The trial was invaluable and gave me such confidence leading up to the big day. Even though we hadn’t finalized the exact hairstyle beforehand, I had no doubt it would be perfect the day of —and it truly was everything I had hoped for.

Nicole’s team, Toni and Yolisa, were equally fantastic. Together, the three of them created such a joyful, relaxed atmosphere on the morning of the wedding. We never felt rushed, and each bridesmaid was able to achieve the look she wanted. It made getting ready not just easy, but genuinely enjoyable.

Nicole helped me feel my absolute best on such an important day. I will always treasure the experience and the memories she helped create. Would highly recommend!

Amazing hair & make-up! Perfect for our wedding.

Nicole and her team did an amazing job! Myself as the bride felt so beautiful and my bridesmaids looked absolutely perfect. We all received so many lovely compliments from guests for both our hair and make-up. Nicole herself is an absolute gem! She is so kind, sweet and easy to work with. I have never felt so glamorous but I am so glad it was for my wedding day. You're the best Nicole!

Nicole was absolutely incredible! I live out of town and was nervous about booking a hair and makeup artist I knew nothing about but Nicole's 5 star rating holds true! She was accommodating, flexible, so kind, and made everyone feel their absolute most beautiful. My sister, the bride, was blown away by Nicole's ability to bring her vision to life and said she had never felt more beautiful.

Wedding hair and makeup

Nicole and her team are absolutely fantastic! Nicole, Aphrodite and Alexa did hair and makeup for 11 of us for our wedding and we could not have been happier. They kept the makeup natural and flawless. Hair was beautiful. Nicole has her business completely perfected. She is so organized and knows exactly how to get everything done nicely and efficiently. Our photographer could not believe that all 11 of us were completely done with hair and makeup and ready for pictures on time (a little early, actually)! We had to postpone our wedding twice due to Covid and Nicole was beyond understanding and supportive throughout the process. When it came to the big day I had wanted to make some changes to my hair and makeup (I guess you could say I had plenty of time to think about things) and she was able to do what I wanted even better than I could have ever imagined. We are so appreciative of everything she did for us!

Nicole is amazing!

Nicole and her team were AMAZING!! My husband and I were a COVID couple and Nicole handled our situation with rescheduling seamlessly. She truly treated us like we were family. Nicole was so supportive, timely, transparent, kind, and professional when it came to working together. We are so fortunate to have had her and her team as our hair and makeup vendor. Her VIP package was the best decision I ever made from a vendor’s perspective. She stayed with me every step of the way and was by my side throughout the entire day/into the evening of our reception for touch ups (even helped bridesmaids and MOB and MOG with touch ups if they needed it) and to help with anything – even fluffing my dress for photos and helping with my nieces who were flower girls. You MUST book her for your hair and makeup, she is truly a one of a kind and such a diamond in the wedding industry.

Highly recommend Nicole!

Nicole and Aphrodite did an absolutely phenomenal job on the hair and makeup for my wedding! Nicole was incredibly kind and patient to work with. After changing wedding dates several times due to COVID, I changed my mind on my hair and makeup style as well, and Nicole couldn't have been more understanding.
On my eventual wedding day in July 2021, however, is where Nicole seriously knocked it out of the park! Nicole, along with her assistant Aphrodite, did an incredible job on hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party. Nicole made me look like the best version of myself, which is exactly what I was hoping for. While this was incredible, it was just the beginning. When my wedding got moved to a summer day, I booked Nicole for her VIP service and it was the best decision! She stayed with me throughout all of our photos right up until ceremony time. This service entailed touch ups and "floofing" throughout the photos. What I got was more like an additional bridesmaid, friend, and personal stylist/assistant! Nicole was on top of EVERYTHING. Every hair or smudge that came up - Nicole was there with a smile on her face. She was calm, kind, and efficient. She was carrying my bouquet, helping with my long train, and so on. Several of my bridesmaids were asking about booking Nicole and they're not even engaged yet! I'd highly recommend Nicole and her team!!

Beyond Amazing!

The services that Nicole’s Hair and Makeup provided were far beyond what I expected. I don’t wear makeup much in my daily life and my hair is constantly in a pony tail, so I really didn’t know anything going into this. I did the bridal trial so I could get a sense of it all, and that was probably the most fun I had had in months! Nicole is so incredibly knowledgeable and kind, we were laughing the entire time chatting about just about everything! It felt like hanging out with an old friend, but we had just met!!! After the trial I couldn’t wait to have her do my look for my wedding! On the day of the wedding, Nicole made me feel more beautiful then I had ever felt before. I genuinely loved how I looked and I just couldn’t stop smiling! She really understood how to bring out my natural looks without making me look like someone else. And she did the same for all of my bridesmaids. I have never seen them look so pretty and confident! Nicole and her assistant Aphrodite were quick adapters on the wedding day when the bridal suite wasn’t accessible for use, and they smiled the whole time. I felt so stress free talking to them while getting ready! They are great people in their field of work, and as people in general. If I could give them more then 5 stars, I totally would.

A Genuine Person and a True Artist!

Nicole is an amazing person and made me feel truly beautiful for my engagement shoot! She was responsive, kind, accommodating and made me feel completely comfortable and safe during my session. I've been talking to Nicole for almost all of 2020, and through my wedding postponement, and finally got to work with her for my engagement shoot. She has been so understanding through these crazy times (something not every vendor was and shouldn't be taken for granted!). I would highly recommend Nicole and can't wait to work with her for my wedding day!

Wonderful experience!

Nicole was an absolute dream to work with. From working out pricing and scheduling, to our consultation to the big day she was awesome. Very quick to email back to nail things down, and was very helpful in recommending how we make adjustments from the consultation to our final look. She even helped my mom (who wasn't getting makeup on the day of) when she had a makeup snafu! All of my bridesmaid looked gorgeous! She is so pleasant she really made my morning easy and stress free. Wonderful!

Nicole Hair and Makeup did a wonderful job for my wedding. Courtney did both my hair and makeup, while Sylvie did hair for the moms and bridal party and Courtney did the makeup. Everyone was thrilled with their hair and makeup and both artists were super nice and friendly. They also arrived about 10 minutes early to set up and finished exactly on time! I would recommend them for any big affair that you would like hair and makeup professionally done for!

Easy, beautiful, perfect

Not being a makeup person, I was extremely conscientious of who I chose to do mine and my bridesmaids makeup. Let me just say, I couldn’t have made a better choice. Nicole and her team not only knew exactly what I and my bridesmaids wanted, but they took the time to make it perfect, sticking to schedule (even ahead of schedule). Great Experience!

Nicole Makeup and Hair was a great choice! I did a trial with Courtney and she completely understood the look I was going for. I wanted an up-do bun with natural makeup. The day of the wedding, everything completely exceeded my expectations and my hair and makeup stayed in place all day/night. Nicole put together an organized schedule for getting ready and we actually ran ahead of schedule, which was very impressive as we had bridesmaids, mothers, grandmothers, and a flower girl getting ready! Will make your wedding hair & makeup dreams a reality!

From the moment I started corresponding with Nicole I knew I needed to work with her. She is so knowledgeable, responsive, friendly and fun! She did a trial where she completely made my wedding hair and makeup vision come to life. She was so accommodating and even drove to my house for the trial.
HEART & SOUL: Nicole pours her heart & soul into your wedding day. She worked so closely with me after the trial to make sure my up-do was going to be comfortable for the big day. We made some tweaks and it came out perfect! She took such good care of me on my wedding day and really brought a sense of calm to the entire day.
WEDDING DAY: Nicole and her team were ninjas. They did 10 ladies hair & makeup in 4 hours and every single bridesmaid loved their look! Everyone was absolutely stunning and got exactly what they wanted.
LONG LASTING: Everyone's hair & makeup stayed all day! I had an outdoor wedding and the makeup stayed on for 12 hours and my hair didn't move.
I can't recommend Nicole and her team enough. She will make your wedding hair & makeup dreams come true at a reasonable price while having fun with you and your wedding party!

I could not be happier with my choice to work with Nicole for my wedding hair and makeup! I don’t typically wear a lot of makeup and was worried about looking fake but Nicole did a great job enhancing a natural look for me and I love how it turned out, in person and in photos! All my bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done too and we received so many compliments on how beautiful everyone looked but still looked like themselves and that is exactly what I was going for! Glamour for One - Perfect Experience

It's well after my wedding -- we were married in Detroit in June -- but I had a very special occasion, a winter black tie, the first wedding since ours, and one of dear friend. I wanted to do something special. Nicole was so responsive even to my "party of one" request and sent a wonderful stylist who did gorgeous work with my make-up -- browns, greys, a little bit of shimmer, subtle lashes and then a low messy chignon, using my fabulous extensions I still have on hand from my own wedding! Top experience start to finish. Pricing reasonable, open to onsite on short notice, products top notch, stylist totally professional and stylish herself. All around excellence.

Amazing!

Nicole was so helpful with our initial conversations in helping me decide what I needed for the big day and even more so accommodating to a few changes that arose during the planning process. She also helped in guiding me to which extensions would be best on my wedding day. My stylist Aphrodite was BRILLIANT! As someone who does not wear makeup or even use a blow dryer ever, she made my wedding face look so natural. My mom loved observing my trial so much, with the coordination of Nicole and Aphrodite, we scheduled a mom trial as well. On the actual day, Aphrodite and Sareen were the best additions to our bridal suite. All of my bridesmaids looks beautiful as well as my mom and aunt. My hair and makeup looked even better than the trial, and I wasn't sure if that was possible. All in all, the best experience, for again, someone who in my day to day, does not wear a lick of makeup.

Make me look like a Princess

Nicole and her team were amazing. They kept to the time frame and did the hair and make up as per the requests of each person. My mom's friend suggested Nicole Makeup and Hair and I am so glad! Nicole was very quick to respond to emails and answer my questions. Aphrodite did my hair and makeup for both my trial and on the day of my wedding. I didn't really know what I wanted and had a few pictures of hairstyles, and she used them to combine the parts I liked and did a really amazing job! Aphrodite and Julie did hair and makeup for my bridesmaids on my wedding day and they were both great! Recommend for Your Entire Bridal Party!

I initially found Nicole because she had done the hair and makeup for my friend's wedding. Nicole was very responsive when I reached out about my own NYC wedding and her pricing was very fair. I could tell that I liked her from my first phone call and decided to book her for hair and makeup for myself, my mother, my mother-in-law and my 8 bridesmaids. At my trial, she listened to what I wanted and gave suggestions for how to do my hair (which I needed!). Nicole figured out the team she would need (Aphrodite & Flynn), provided me with a schedule for all of the girls, showed up on time with everything she could possibly need, finished on time, and made everyone look gorgeous. I absolutely loved her work. Working with Nicole and her team was such a pleasure and I would recommend her to anyone.

Highly Recommend!

We used Nicole Makeup & Hair for our wedding day. Nicole was very helpful explaining what our options were for onsite hair and makeup. She scheduled my trial and answered all of my questions. My trial was with Aphrodite and it was great! My Mom also did her trial with Aphrodite and absolutely loved her hair and makeup! On the day of the wedding, we had Aphrodite, Courtney, and Melissa for 3.5 hours to work on myself, our Moms, and 5 bridesmaids. They were on time and great to work with. We had a couple photos of how we wanted the bridesmaids hair and groom's mom's hair to look, and they nailed all of the them! Myself, our moms, and all of the girls loved their hair and makeup! It lasted the entire day and night too! I would definitely recommend them!!

Great Experience!

I hired Nicole since I knew her from a previous wedding, where she also did my makeup. She made me look awesome at that wedding, that I knew she had to do mine...2years later. While Nicole didn't specifically run the hair & makeup for my wedding, Aphrodite, and the rest of the team did, and everything turned out beautifully! All of the girls, including my flower girl and my mother loved the way they looked on my wedding day.

I cannot say enough about Nicole and her extremely talented team of artists. I had the pleasure of having them prep my girls and I for my wedding day. They are insanely talented, friendly, and take such pride in their work. Their main goal really is to make you look and feel beautiful on your special day and they achieved that with flying colors!! They were punctual and efficient and got all my girls done within the time frame needed. I will absolutely recommend them for any event and will continue to book with them for all of my future events!!

The most incredible experience

Everything I wanted & more- within budget!

I cannot say enough about Nicole Makeup & Hair! Disclaimer: I only used them for makeup as one of my close friends did my hair.

I knew I wanted to glam it up on my wedding day- as I am someone who doesn't wear much/any makeup on a daily basis. Little did I know, the prices for quality hair & makeup are INSANE, especially in NYC area. I must have researched & emailed at least 15-20 businesses/artists. Initially, I was intrigued by the price for myself (and 9 bridesmaids!!) but the travel costs were extremely reasonable & fair. Aphrodite was the lead artist on my day and I could not have been more impressed with her work and personality. I would absolutely recommend Nicole Makeup & Hair to any bride looking for the perfect balance of high quality & price :)

Amazing experience!

Nicole makeup and hair made me and my bridesmaids look flawless! (Even though my bridesmaids are georgous to begin with! Haha) I felt like a princess! With just a few ideas I had they turned our thoughts into an amazing masterpiece! I could not have been any happier. She has a great group of wonderful ladies who know exactly what to do! The ideas in my head came out even better then I could of imagined and made my day and all my pictures beyond perfect! Nicole and her team did my hair and makeup as well as the hair and makeup of my 8 bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law and they were AMAZING! They were prompt, talented, easy to work with, and true professionals. Everyone looked beautiful and their makeup was classic and sophisticated. From working with Nicole to set up trials months before the wedding to working on a schedule days before the wedding, she responded quickly and was extremely accommodating. Nicole and Courtney did an absolutely amazing job for my wedding. They took care of myself, MOB, MOG and 5 bridesmaids in record time! Nicole was INCREDIBLE! I knew after doing a trial with her that she would be a perfect match for my bridal party. My girls loved her. Nicole is professional, easy going, and fun to be around! Each one of us did an up do and full makeup. She timed the morning perfectly for us to have us all ready before noon. It took her about 5 hours to do 5 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and me (the bride). She gave us a bridal attendant to stay with us throughout the day and do touch ups before we did formal pictures after the ceremony. I would highly recommend her for your wedding or future events where you need professional hair and makeup.

I cannot begin to describe how amazing Nicole is!
She has made me look and feel amazing for three separate events, including my own wedding.
She is very talented and will leave you looking and feeling your best. She is also very nice, patient and knowledgeable which comes in handy when you are dealing with brides like me who have no idea what looks good or not.

Nicole did my makeup for my engagement shoot, bridal shower, and wedding. I got so many compliments on my look from each event, thanks to Nicole. She was also so flexible with scheduling appointments. I'm a teacher and it's difficult to get time off for personal appointments. Nicole was amazing and was able to accommodate appointments right after school or on school holidays so that I didn't need to ask for more time off. Her communication leading up to the wedding day was super clear so that I knew exactly what to expect on the day of the wedding. Nicole and Aphrodite did the makeup for myself and my bridal party on the wedding day. They both have an amazing way with people. They were so calm and lovely and my bridesmaids and I genuinely enjoyed hanging out with them as we got ready for the wedding. Aphrodite and Sareen were our hair/makeup artists for the day and they were amazing!! They were on time, organized, nice, professional, and fun to work with! They did a wonderful job on all of our hair/makeup - I did the airbrush foundation and I HIGHLY recommend it! I had 5 bridesmaids and both the MOB & MOG got their hair and makeup done. They had everything done in 4 hours - it was great! Nicole was also awesome to work with scheduling, etc. She is super responsive and her prices are reasonable. I had Aphrodite do the hair and makeup for myself and three bridesmaids. I asked for a fresh look and clean updo while my bridesmaids did smoky eyes and a messy updo. She did both of the styles equally perfect with ease and speed that only comes from lots of training and experience. She was happy to let me try several looks to pick the perfect one for me and make any adjustments if I changed my mind last minute. Most of all, she was so fun and calming to have around as we were getting ready the morning of the wedding. I could not imagine a better experience.

Courtney, Stephenie, and Sylvie were an amazing team! I could not have been happier! Courtney was the team lead and prior to the wedding Courtney and I met for a trial run - she was so patient and easy to work with and willing to try several styles during the trial just so I could find what was perfect for me. I was so happy with how my hair and makeup turned out on the day of my wedding and how everyone else's did, too. We were a large group (7 bridesmaids, two mothers, and one grandmother) yet they were able to keep us to a tight schedule, and made sure we were all relaxed and stress-free. Such a pleasure working with them! I would happily refer any friends and family to Nicole Makeup & Hair in the future!

Initially, I didn't reach out to Nicole because I (for some reason) thought her prices were out of my budget (I was wrong--they were the best), and I'm so glad I used her artists for my wedding. Nicole was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process, especially when I wasn't happy with how my trial went and when I wanted to add a second artist just weeks before my big day. She was also very responsive to any and all of my questions or concerns. After my trial, I was worried because my hair was not what I wanted and I thought my eyeliner was too thick and the fake lashes didn't look very great. Nicole was more than willing to work this out with me. We spoke on the phone about my concerns, and she spoke with my artist about the changes and worked with her so she'd be able to style my hair the way I wanted. Although I was still a bit uneasy (and didn't want to pay for another trial), it all worked out. Aphrodite was the artist for my mom and me, and Sareen did the hair and makeup for some of my bridesmaids and mother in law. Both did a spectacular job. I felt and looked beautiful, as did my bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law. Aphrodite made the changes I had wanted perfectly! Both artists were so friendly; it was great having their positive energy when I was so nervous! One thing I will add, not to the fault of anyone, is that after my trial, my lip stain started peeling/crumbling off. I thought maybe it was because I didn't have clear lip gloss, but the day of my wedding, even when continually applying clear lip gloss, it did the exact same thing just an hour after Aphrodite left, so I didn't have a lip color for my entire wedding (maybe my lips just don't take well to the stain). With that in mind, if you do notice something like that happen at your trial, definitely make sure you let someone know so you don't have that issue on your big day! Overall, I'm very happy with the outcome of using Nicole Makeup & Hair. Thanks for everything!

After reading online reviews, I decided to book Nicole Hair and Makeup for my wedding and I’m so happy I did! I scheduled a trial for my hair and makeup a few months before wedding and was paired up with Julie. Julie was so friendly and didn’t bat an eyelash when I asked if my mom (who was visiting) could join us for the trial. She was accommodating with time and location as well, which I really appreciated. When I decided I wanted to try another type of hairstyle (Julie nailed the first trial, I was just being indecisive!), Nicole assured me that it wouldn’t be an issue at all, and she quickly scheduled me for another trial with Julie a couple weeks later. On the day of the wedding, Julie was joined by Aphrodite as my bridesmaids, flower girl, my mom, and mother in law were all getting hair (and some makeup) done. Julie and Aphrodite arrived at the venue on time and had everything running on schedule all day without rushing through anyone – especially impressive since I had 7 bridesmaids! Each of the bridesmaids requested their own hairstyles and they all looked amazing. My six-year old flower girl was especially excited to get her hair and “makeup” done, and Aphrodite was so kind and sweet with her. Julie did my hair and makeup again, and it looked even better than the trial. So many people complimented my hair throughout the evening, and I LOVED it! And my makeup was flawless. As someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup and didn’t want to look like a different person on the day of my wedding, but Julie gave me a natural glamour that was perfect for a wedding day look. I felt absolutely amazing! I loved having Julie and Aphrodite as part of the getting ready fun – they were funny, nice, and very talented at what they do. I would HIGHLY recommend Nicole Hair and Makeup to any brides to be who want to look and feel amazing on their wedding day!

Stephanie was not only my make-up artist for the big day, but she did my mom's, my cousin's (bridesmaid) and my grandmother's make up as well. She was so respectful and professional of each of our desired looks and was so accommodating. She was also so incredibly sweet- she checked in with us through the whole process to be sure that we were comfortable and happy with what was being done. End result, I felt so stunning. My make-up lasted through the whole day and night. She offers so many options, there is no going wrong. Nicole, the owner of the business, is so responsive, kind and professional. Honestly, if I could hang out with Nicole everyday I definitely would! I had a bit of prior knowledge that she was amazing at her job because she did my twin sister's wedding last year but she did not disappoint for my wedding this past Saturday! She went above and beyond to make sure that everything was absolutely perfect! She not only did my hair and makeup for my engagement photoshoot but she also took care of all of my bridesmaids, both Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom, and me on my wedding day. She and Courtney got all of us done so efficiently and literally EVERYONE was thrilled with the way they looked for the wedding day. She also offers a VIP service where she will stay with you for touchups right up until the ceremony. Not only was she there for touchups for my ENTIRE bridal party, but she also went above and beyond by helping with holding coats during the photos or helping me get a stain out of my dress before my ceremony or even moving pinecones out of the way during my first look. She is an amazing person to have around on what could be one of the most stressful days. She literally just makes everything better! We love her and I HIGHLY recommend her for ANYTHING! As a dermatology PA, I can be extremely picky about the products used on my skin and I found it very important for my face to look flawless on my wedding day. As a girl who still struggles with acne and who doesn't normally wear much makeup day-to-day (I don't love the feel), I was really worried about looking like I had clown makeup on, or worse, not having enough makeup on for the flawless look I was hoping for! Nicole uses the best makeup brands and is concerned about hygiene when applying them. She applied enough makeup to enhance or cover the things we had discussed, without it being too overdone.

Nicole did my bridal makeup along with makeup for my 6 bridesmaids, MOB, 2 grandmothers, and an aunt. She worked efficiently and got us all done without even breaking a sweat! Everyone, including my incredibly picky and opinionated grandmother, absolutely loved their makeup! Nicole was extremely professional, knowledgeable, affordable, and always quick to respond via email or phone whenever I had any questions at all! She was absolutely wonderful to work with (hands down my favorite of all of my vendors!). She made my vision come to life on my wedding day and I know she can do the same for you!

Nicole Makeup and Hair was incredible. Courtney, Silvie and Stephanie did hair and makeup for myself, my 7 bridesmaids, mother of the groom, my aunt and then also her daughter. They were son time(early in fact) set themselves up perfectly even though we had such limited room in the hotel room we were given. They were quick, and their work was of such amazing quality. All of my girls looked AMAZING and they were SO happy. I was also so happy with my look. Courtney nailed it first time for both hair and makeup. They were so professional but fun and easy going. Courtney also stayed extra to do my cousins hair and makeup and she also helped me with my veil AND putting my headpiece back in after I dropped it in the toilet. I cannot say enough good things about everyone at Nicole Makeup & Hair! I worked with Nicole for all the details leading up to the day and on our wedding day Courtney and Aphrodite were our stylists. I was a little nervous about booking artists for makeup because I have a severe allergy to nickel and have to be very particular about the products I use. Nicole was so understanding and went out of her way to not only research the products they use, but she also took the time to research my allergy further to be sure that they were being as careful as possible; I was so relieved, impressed, and appreciative of this. Courtney did my hair and makeup for the wedding day and I was amazed with her work! I really didn’t know what I wanted and had maybe two or three photos to show her for inspiration but she turned that into something beautiful. Not only was I so happy with how I looked, I was so impressed with how it held up all night! My hair never fell out of place and my makeup looked like it was freshly applied all night long. I don’t wear much makeup on a daily basis so I didn’t want to look too done up, but I wanted to look different than my everyday wear. Courtney found the perfect balance. Aphrodite styled the bridesmaids and they were all very happy with their hair/makeup also! Everyone’s hair and makeup lasted so well throughout the day and night. Courtney and Aphrodite were prompt, personable, professional, and so knowledgable. The best part is that even though the artists come to you, their prices are still so reasonable. Nicole and her team are an incredibly talented group of artists! From our first interaction, I was impressed by Nicole's responsiveness, the thorough nature in which she answered my questions, and of course the portfolio of work she provided. Nicole does a phenomenal job of enhancing natural beauty- you will not look like someone else or like you have a ton of make up caked on. Nicole is so great to work with. All the ladies looked amazing the day of the wedding and we all loved Nicole and her team. How do I even begin to explain how amazing Nicole and her team is... As a girl who never wears make-up and her hair is always in a ponytail, Nicole made my experience absolutely perfect. From the second I emailed her to the day of my wedding, Nicole was always in contact with me and explained everything. She was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable through the process. Nicole Makeup and Hair was fantastic! I did my hair and makeup trial with Nicole and instantly knew I wanted to book her. She's the type of person who makes you feel like you've known her for forever and the type of professional who knows her craft so well that you literally have nothing to worry about. During the day of my trial, I had not so intelligently straightened my hair and was wearing a dress that made my hair one big static issue. Even with all of these terrible conditions that I accidentally showed up with, Nicole was able to make my hair and makeup look flawless. I knew she could handle anything, and isn't that what you want from someone doing your hair and makeup on your wedding day? My wedding was on February 4, 2017, and Nicole, Courtney and Aphrodite came to do hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and the moms. They were on time (actually they were even a little early!), prepared, and very easy to work with. Nicole, Courtney and Aphrodite all fit in perfectly. It seemed as if they were an extension of the bridal party as we all chatted during the hair and makeup process. Nicole prides herself and her business on making a bride the best version of herself on her wedding day, not some version that no one will recognize, and this was really important to me. My bridesmaids received the same treatment from Courtney and Aphrodite too. I can't recommend Nicole Hair and Makeup enough! They were an absolute pleasure to work with and they have my highest recommendation. Thank you!

I can't even begin to express how wonderful Nicole was...she did both my hair and makeup for my wedding. I hesitated to let anyone do my makeup...I was in PR for a leading cosmetic company at the start of my career and like to think I'm pretty savvy on my own technique. So, I decided to go for a trial by Nicole first, before committing for my wedding day. She was nothing short of phenomenal. Nicole tailored the makeover to my tastes, she was flexible, had a great eye for what would look best on me, showed me what she was doing every step of the way, and boy did she know exactly what she was doing.

When I went home that day, my soon-to-be husband was amazed when I walked in, literally saying...."you look like a model, you look amazing!" I didn't even mention my hair yet....I brought a picture with me to Nicole's of a partially up-do...and she did it exactly as the photo illustrated. Exactly....and mind you, she did my hair in 30 minutes (maybe less) and my makeup in 30 minutes....I was done within an hour....that's how good she is.

Lots of little things went wrong on my wedding day....but the one person who ran like a clock...was Nicole. She was such a professional. Long story short, the day of my wedding, I had to have makeup and hair done at the restaurant/caterer that my reception & ceremony were being held. She was there, exactly on time, with all her products....and did both my hair and makeup right there, in time for the photographer, etc. And she was unexpectedly interrupted a few times during the process, and she didn't blink, wasn't flustered, she kept me calm as well.....and I was so very thankful that I had Nicole do my hair and makeup for the most important day of my life.

Nicole and her team were awesome! I felt very comfortable with her from my first contact and loved my trial. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and my hair still looked great at the end of the night! Nicole and her team came to my hotel suite to do hair and makeup for myself, the mothers and my girls. They were set up and ready to go right on time and kept on schedule or ran early (which made my other vendors very happy!). Everyone looked fantastic, but still like themselves, just the best version of themselves. Nicole was also very accommodating of my last minute additions of 2 extra people for hair. Nicole Make Up and Hair was fantastic- I recommend them highly!

Nicole Hair and Makeup was amazing to work with! I wanted a very natural but beautiful look and I got just that! I felt so flawless the day of my wedding and so did the rest of my bridal party thanks to Nicole, Courtney and Aphrodite! Nicole is amazing at communicating and she is very organized! She made a schedule for the day of of when everyone would get their hair and make up done and it worked out so perfectly we were finished a half hour ahead of schedule ! I HIGHLY recommend her!

Nicole is very easy to work with and her staff was great too. I hired Nicole and 2 other women to do hair and make-up for 7 bridesmaids, 1 Grandma and 1 Aunt. They were at the wedding venue before my daughter (the Bride) and I showed up, prepared and ready to begin. They had wonderful personalities, were very professional, not terribly expensive and most importantly, we began the day with very beautiful bridesmaids, Grandma and Aunt! Everyone was very very happy! Nicole was great about staying in touch via email and reminded me as the date got closer, to work out a schedule for efficiency. She also offers other services for the bride that we didn't take advantage of, but last November I was at a wedding where she did the bride and her hair and make-up were also gorgeous! If you hire Nicole, you will be very happy and feel beautiful and special.

I can't thank Nicole enough for the fabulous work that she and her colleague did for me and my bridesmaids (and flower girl!) for my wedding! I absolutely loved my hair and makeup, and I couldn't have asked for anything more. As someone who doesn't normally wear makeup, Nicole really listened to me and understood what I was going for. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup on my wedding day! I was blown away by Nicole. She was an integral part of my big day and was an amazing professional to work with. Everyone's makeup looked amazing. She made everyone look their absolute best. My makeup was simply stunning and it went above and beyond the way I envisioned on my wedding day. Nicole was very quickly to respond to emails and I loved her friendly and bubbly personality.

I can't say enough about Nicole and her VIP service. For an extra fee per hour, she stayed with me through the ceremony right before cocktail hour. She did makeup from 9AM-12:30PM, then stayed with me till 5:30PM. She touched me up before I walked down the aisle, helped with my dress and veil, and touched up my hair before the cocktail hour. Nicole even helped/worked with my photographer to get amazing shots. I really don't know what I would have done without her on that day. I can't recommend her enough and also getting the VIP service. Nicole was vital to the success of the day and an absolute star. The service she provides is invaluable to a bride on her wedding day. Thank you so much Nicole!

Nicole and her team did an amazing job for hair and makeup for my wedding for myself, all of the bridesmaids, MOB, and MOG. She even did an amazing job on my step daughter junior bridesmaid. I found Nicole because she e-mailed me after I booked with my venue. I ultimately chose her because of her pricing, she’s jersey based (my venue was in NJ), and I could travel to her artists’ home for a trial. Nicole was professional, responsive, and very friendly. Unfortunately it took me too long to pull the trigger so I wasn’t able to have Nicole for my wedding day. But Courtney was spectacular. Make-up was exactly what I wanted, a natural look…but not so natural that you couldn’t tell I had make-up on. Unfortunately we had to do 2 hair trials but I think it was b/c the first time I wasn’t sure what I had wanted. So I had my hair trial a week and a half before my wedding and by then I knew exactly what I wanted and the length of my hair was just right. Ultimately my hair and make-up were exactly what I had wanted. I was concerned I would sweat off my make-up or had panda eyes and none of that happened! Courtney and Julie were professional, on time, and did a great job on me, the moms and my wedding party. Please book with Nicole if you want an easy and stress free experience!

You should Hire Nicole & her team!!!!

Nicole is just fantastic! Super down to earth and is really great at her job. I used Nicole for my Engagement Photos & Wedding Day Service (Hair & Makeup for me, 3 bridesmaids, Mother of Bride, Mother of Groom, & Grandmother of Groom) and I have to say she is one of my favorite vendors that I worked with. She made everyone feel incredibly comfortable and we all looked great when she and her team (Courtney) were done. They worked from 11am - 2:30pm and no one felt rushed or stressed at all! It was great to have everyone feel so pampered and not running around being stressed for time! I splurged and added the Bridal VIP services so Nicole stayed with me and my bridesmaids for an extra 3 hours after our services were done for any little touch ups. She helped with my veil, touched up my makeup as well as my mom's and bridesmaids', if needed, and also assisted putting the flower crowns on my two flower girls. It was great to have the extra set of hands to do all of these little things that you don't think about! Nicole even showed my Bridal Attendant how to take my veil out the proper way after the ceremony since she wouldn't be there to do it herself!! Talk about thinking about things that I wasn't even thinking about!

When Nicole & Courtney were with us getting ready, it really just felt like I had 2 extra bridesmaids. They were just part of the celebration! I cannot thank them enough for making everyone, including myself, feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day!

I cannot say enough good things about Nicole, her business, and her talent. I found Nicole through online searching and began communicating with her about 13-14 months before my wedding. I was getting married 4th of July weekend on a Sunday morning and vendors book very quickly. She was very informative, responsive to changes I made in personnel required for services, and helped me determine which services I would need and how to structure my morning. She was never pushy or tried to get me to invest in a service I did not need. The best decision I made beyond booking Nicole was to extend her time with me up until my reception through her VIP package. I did my trial a year in advance and tweaked very little over the year to the look. The morning of my wedding Nicole and her second stylist Briana arrived at 6:00am to begin hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and my mother in law. Briana was very responsive and listened well to what each of the mothers was looking for with the hair and makeup. Even when time was beginning to get tight because my mom's services took longer, Nicole and Briana sprang into action to ensure my mother in law was taken care of and was ready on time. When my hair and makeup were complete, I almost cried. I felt so beautiful and was so happy with how I looked. All of us were just stunning and looked like better versions of ourselves. Nicole was so helpful throughout the entire day. She helped me hold my dress, repositioned my veil when the spot wasn't working, made sure my makeup and hair were flawless, made sure I was comfortable, helped my mom and mother in law, and was just such a positive energy to have around. She is incredibly professional and worked very well with my photographer and Maître d. It may be a hair brush and not a magic wand, but Nicole and her staff truly have a magic touch that made my wedding hair and makeup perfect and I couldn't imagine the day without them! I would book her again in a heartbeat for a future event!

Nicole was great to work with! I don't typically wear much makeup and I hate other people curling my hair because I think that I can do it just as good as they can but let me tell you that she was amazing. She was the only person that I've ever felt comfortable doing my hair and makeup. She also did my mom's hair and makeup and my aunts makeup and it came out great! Nicole offers a few different options and depending on the number of girls you have, you can get a discount. She also offers a VIP package which at first we weren't sure if it was worth the extra money considering how much we had already spent on the wedding but now looking back at it, it was totally worth it! I would recommend the VIP package if you are taking pictures before the ceremony. I would definitely recommend Nicole Makeup and Hair for your event!

So thrilled that I was able to work with Courtney and Julie for hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids on my big day! Months beforehand, Courtney came to my home for a consultation and did full hair and makeup. She asked me what I wanted, and I said something along the lines of "Um, I have no idea, I think a bun and something natural looking?" I don't know how she did it, but Courtney figured out the perfect look for me! She used air brushing which made my skin look flawless, and she matched it exactly to my skin tone. My biggest fear was looking caked in makeup, but Courtney did such an incredible natural glow look. Oh, and the lip stain they use is AMAZING. It doesn't smudge at all and lasted through the end of my wedding, so about a full 12 hours of eating, drinking, talking, smiling for photos, etc. They can also use two shades to create other colors as well to match any complexion!

As further testament to their flexibility and creativity, I let my girls decide how they wanted to do their hair so that everyone looked unique and different. So day-of, Courtney and Julie ran with whatever my girls thought of and came up with some awesome hairstyles on the fly! They were both just great, and worked super quickly. We definitely had enough time for touch-ups before leaving for the venue, and Courtney and Julie arrived on time as well. They were really fun girls too, we enjoyed chatting with them while they worked and they were both very personable and professional. I had also been emailing Nicole along the way, and she was super quick with her responses. I definitely recommend working with Nicole Hair and Makeup!!

As a makeup novice, I was initially overwhelmed and intimidated by the process of hiring a hair and make up artist for my wedding. As soon as I corresponded with Nicole, however, I instantly felt at ease. I'd emailed with a few other artists prior to getting in touch with Nicole and she was by far, the most helpful and responsive, explaining the process and pricing structure in detail in our first correspondence. At the trial, Nicole reviewed the photos I'd brought and came up with an amazing natural look for my Indian wedding. In the days leading up to my wedding, Nicole helped me schedule additional services with her colleague Courtney for another wedding event, and put together an extensive schedule for the wedding day. Through it all, she was responsive, enthusiastic, and incredibly detailed. On the day of, Nicole and Courtney were fantastic to work with! They kept to the schedule, calmed nerves and uncertainties, and made us all look amazing. Hiring these guys was definitely one of the best decisions I made in the wedding planning process. Courtney did my makeup (bride), my mom's and two of my bridesmaid's makeup. Courtney was AMAZING! I would absolutely recommend her and Nicole Makeup and Hair to anyone!! I booked very last minute and Courtney squeezed me into her schedule and worked with me to set up a last minute trial run. I am not someone who wears a lot of makeup normally, so I wanted a natural look but also wanted to look more "done up" than normal, and Courntey could not have done a more perfect job for me! I loved how natural and flawless she made me look! I had tried false lashes in previous trials and I hated them. I constantly felt them on my eyes, but Courtney encouraged me to try them again with her and I'm SO GLAD I listened! They looked great and I didn't feel them at all, all day long! If I ever need makeup services in the future I will definitely be calling Nicole!

Nicole Makeup and Hair did a fabulous job with my wedding makeup/hair! Nicole and one of her assistants did a great job with everyone's hair and makeup in a timely fashion. Me and my bridal party got several compliments and one of my bridesmaid said it was the best compared to other weddings she has been in. Nicole was one of the easiest vendors to work with as she always responded quickly to email and was even proactive when she would be away. Courtney was wonderful to work with! We booked with Nicole Makeup and Hair late, after another hair & makeup artist flaked on us, and Nicole and Courtney were both helpful and professional throughout the entire process. Nicole came on time to my house to do a trial, and was very receptive to my desires and changed both during the trial and on the day of the wedding.

On the day of the wedding, she came to the hotel where we were getting ready on time, and followed the pre-made schedule flawlessly. She got me and six bridesmaids ready, and everyone was very happy with their look! Courtney was friendly, down to earth, and fun to work with.

Nicole is amazing talented, super easy to work with, and incredibly kind. I met with Nicole to do a hair and makeup trial and I instantly felt comfortable. I am not a person who wears a ton of makeup and I was nervous about looking like I was caked with product. Everything she did looked natural, felt light, and bonus it lasted all night! All of my bridesmaids looked stunning and Nicole took time making sure everyone was 100% happy (which they all were). She created such a beautiful style for my hair & makeup that went so perfectly with the look and vibe of my wedding. I wouldn't change a thing. It was me, but with fancy hair and makeup - exactly what I wanted.

I will tell any future bride I meet to go with Nicole Makeup and Hair, you will SO happy!

Nicole was awesome to work with - she was always so responsive and nice about everything! It's always nice to have someone be excited for you on your wedding day and I felt that from Nicole just through emails. She was very well organized throughout the whole process and I love Courtney (my hair and make up lead)! Courtney came to my house for my hair and make up trial and she is so good at what she does! She takes her time yet doesn't take forever and everything looks so good! The day of my wedding, my bridesmaids hair and make up that she did looked so good!! The makeup she does looks so good and natural (doesn't look fake or not like yourself). The only thing I would complain about (and it's not a huge complaint at all) is that I don't think Courtney used enough hair spray in my hair to last the whole day. My hair is thin and flat so I knew it would fall out quickly however, it fell out really quickly and wasn't really curly half way through the wedding. I think if she used a little more hairspray on my hair, it may have held a little bit longer but that's definitely not something that holds me back from recommending Nicole Makeup and Hair. Booking the hair and make up for my wedding was one of the easiest things I did thanks to Nicole and her team! :)

I found Nicole trough Internet searching for somebody to do my make up and hair on my wedding day in October 2014. Since first email, followed later by phone call I knew I found a right person. She seemed very professional and organized . Since I decided on having no trial either for make up or hair before my wedding I had a big trust in Nicole, that she will provide a beautiful and smooth service on my wedding day. And she surely did. Erica who was doing my make up and hair that day did an excellent job. I was more than happy with both my hair and make up. Erica turned out to be a sweet, friendly person, open to listen to my suggestions. I would recommend Nicole Makeup and Hair to anybody looking for smooth and professional service.

Nicole is simply amazing! I would definitely recommend her for any future brides! She is very organized, friendly, caring, and professional. From the start, I could really tell that she has her clients best interest at heart. During my trial, I was iffy about something she would fix it until I was satisfied. She had a schedule for the wedding day which made things run smoothly; we were actually ahead of schedule by the end! Her assistant Gianna did an amazing job with the bridesmaids and mom's hair as well! Nicole stayed for our pictures at the venue and she was very helpful with touch ups! I would absolutely, without hesitation, recommend Nicole Makeup and Hair to anyone needing these services!

I'm not really sure where to start in explaining how absolutely amazing Nicole was, not just in her skills but with her patience.

When ALL of my bridesmaids decided to change what they agreed to and wanted regarding hair and makeup (regardless that the contract had been signed), Nicole came to the rescue and accommodated everyone. Honestly, Nicole has the patience of a Saint because there wasn't just one change but multiple changes, multiple times. If I was the one doing their hair and makeup I probably would have made them look like Frankenstein but she gave them the exact look they wanted and they were happy, which meant I got to enjoy my wedding day.

If that wasn't amazing enough, Nicole and her assistant dealt with my MIL like CHAMPS (better than I can). I can't even get into what a mess that situation was. We'll just say, it was something I'm sure Nicole will never forget. NEVER EVER FORGET. Honestly, give this woman a metal. She remained professional the entire time.

She also stayed focused enough to give everyone hair and makeup styles that were natural yet "done". We looked amazing. My makeup stayed on the entire night, despite the fact that I danced for the entire 5 hours. Oh, and the hair! My mother and I have extremely fine and thin hair. It NEVER holds a curl or stays up but it did with Nicole's skills!

Thanks Nicole for making me look and feel beautiful and for putting up with all the drama!

Nicole is fantastic! She is so kind and really made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. She is helpful and makes sure you feel comfortable and are happy with what you see. During the makeup trial she listened to exactly what I wanted and helped me create my look for my wedding day. She is very professional and organized. She is easy to contact and quick to respond. She made a schedule for the day of and stuck to it so that everything went very smoothly.
Nicole took her time to make sure I looked flawless on the day of my wedding. She also did the hair and makeup of my mom and the makeup of my sister and they both love her! She made them look stunning.
Nicole also brought along stylist Courtney who did the hair and makeup of the grandmothers and the rest of my bridesmaids. Everyone was so happy with their looks and Courtney listened to their concerns, making them look beautiful but not like they were overly made up.
I felt so beautiful on the day of my wedding and everything stayed so nicely for the whole day. I got so many compliments.

If you are a bride, you need to hire Nicole Makeup and Hair. I actually used this company for both my engagement photo session and my wedding. Nicole is an absolute sweetheart and employs only the best stylists. I had ten bridesmaids who all got their hair done and a few also got their make up done. Nicole and two artists came out to Staten Island so we could get ready at the hotel. The team was punctual and really fun. Not only was the team SO reasonably priced, but they made sure that everyone looked absolutely fantastic and had fun while sitting there being pampered. I'd recommend her services to anyone.

Nicole was absolutely fantastic. Her and her team were very easy to work with and provided each person with exactly the look they wanted. They handled all of my bridesmaids, three mom, a grandmother, two aunts and two cousins efficently, making sure everything ran smoothly and on time.

Nicole was very patient and really listened to me about what I wanted. She kept my morning easy going, drama free and fun. I would highly recommend her!!
