Amazing experience

From start to finish, our experience with Nicole was absolutely fantastic. We knew we wanted someone who could capture not just the big moments, but also the small, intimate details of our day, and she did exactly that.

On the wedding day, she was professional, organized, and made us feel completely at ease. The photos turned out breathtaking! Every shot was beautifully composed, with natural, candid moments that truly captured the emotions of the day. We were especially impressed with how she managed to get stunning group photos without it ever feeling forced or rushed.

Our family and friends also commented on how friendly and unobtrusive she was, allowing everyone to enjoy the day without constantly worrying about posing or being in front of the camera.

The turnaround time for our photos was faster than we expected, and we were so happy to relive our special day through the incredible images. If you’re looking for a photographer who is not only talented but truly passionate about her craft, we couldn’t recommend Nicole enough!

We love our engagement photos!

We booked our engagement session with Nicole in November and wouldn't be happier with the photos. Nicole was so fun to work with. We haven't set a wedding date yet but we will absolutely be booking Nicole for the wedding!

Book a session!

We booked one of Nicole’s holiday mini sessions and couldn’t recommend her more. The session was quick and just what we needed for our holiday cards. The kids had a great time and we received our photos the following day, they came out beautiful! We will definitely be booking another session when she has them!

I can’t recommend Nicole highly enough! The photos she captured of our reception are amazing- she made our posed photos look natural and found everyone’s good side in the candids on the dance floor. She was so easy to work with and I appreciate how organized and responsive she was through the process. Your Wedding: In Vibrant Color

TLDR:
Our DJ, David Victor, was the best! Everyone was so easy to work and communicate with! The tier structure makes it easy to choose someone within your budget who you vibe with.

The Deets:
Communicating with Beat Train Prod. was seamless from the initial touch-base through to our wedding day.
I like choices, so the tier structure and add-ons were a plus for my husband and I. We were able to learn about, meet and utlimately choose from several professionals within our price range.

We booked David Victor and he was just the absolute best! Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional from start to finish. David reacted quickly and expertly throughout the evening, adjusting volume and quickly making changes.
For instance, none of us realized our "entrance" to the dance floor would be about 5 steps! My husband and I launched into our first dance waaay too early, but David reacted quickly and switched from entrance song to first dance song so smoothly.

But how were the vibes?
IMMACULATE. Everyone was up and ready to dance ALL NIGHT! We got so many rave reviews on David's performance throughout the night (and long after!). We've already given our recommendation for David and Beat Train to many folks, no hesitation. We literally can't recommend them enough!

Talented, efficient, easy-going, amazing!

We could not have been happier with Nicole. She was always responsive and easy to communicate with. When we had our engagement shoot, she was enjoyable to work with and took incredible photos. From that point we never felt anxious about any aspect of the wedding photos, because we knew we had found the best photographer we could possibly find, and we were totally right! We love our photos so much, and I can't recommend that peace of mind highly enough. She is incredibly talented and efficient, quickly understood what we wanted and managed to give us everything we hoped for without disrupting the big day in any way. Many of our guests have commented on how great the photos were and how amazing it was that our photographer captured them while never getting in the way. Working with Nicole was easily one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process!

Just wow!!

Wedding planning was beyond stressful, especially picking the right photographer to basically be in charge of capturing the entire day perfectly. I’m pretty sure I looked through every local photographers website or example work and it was exhausting. When I finally did pick a handful to choose from it was still waiting for emails back, or being told up to six months to get my photos back (I respect photographers but that just seemed so long) or some didn’t even respond. Well Nicole Lagoe Photography answered pretty much right away, and scheduled a call for us the same week. I know I wasn’t the easiest client because I had so many questions and high expectations (which she took care of them all) The process was soooo easy after that call! I got a little questionnaire to fill out and basically put all the pictures I wanted and information that I felt was pretty important on that. Then she said I get a handful of previews, and gave me the exact date my gallery would be sent over (which I needed because who wants to be guessing if or when they will be coming lol) I got my sneaks which were AMAZING and my completed photos actually a few days before the due date which was an unexpected surprise. My photos are beautiful and I know well worth the wait because I had A LOT as my wedding was a long day. Thank you Nicole for being so kind and patient with me and for making choosing you as a photographer so easy and the best decision ever.

My husband and I worked with Nicole for our wedding this past June, and it was one of the best wedding-related decisions we made. Nicole is communicative, easy going, and a joy to be around. She is super thorough and will be sure to get all the shots you want. We had a fairly large group for family photos, and Nicole coordinated everything seamlessly. She really took care of everything so I could just focus on having fun! I would 100% work with Nicole again in the future, and highly recommend working with her for your event. If you're fortunate enough to have come across Nicole's page while looking for a wedding photographer, look no further!! From start to finish Nicole was absolutely amazing to work with- she is the perfect balance of organized and responsive while still being so easy-going and flexible. We were planning our wedding from abroad and Nicole was always so supportive and patient as we went through the planning process. When we finally met her in-person on our wedding day, it was as if we had always known her. Nicole instantly made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and not only did we appreciate this, our guests did too. By the end of the night Nicole had become part of the wedding party and we didn't want her to leave. All of our pictures are incredible and we are so grateful to Nicole for capturing so many special moments throughout the day.

I wish I could give Nicole more than just 5 stars! She makes the nerve wracking experience of being photographed so fun and easy- and knew just what to say to make us feel comfortable and make some really gorgeous photos. Our families and wedding party loved working with her too, her personality fit right in with ours and we couldn't have pictured working with anyone else. Our photos were amazing and delivered way before we expected them. Not only is she very creative but she was organized and prepared, she answered all of our questions and emails quickly. If you are looking for a photographer please don't look elsewhere!! I'll be honest, I looked at A LOT of different photographers in the beginning processes of wedding planning. I immediately fell in love with Nicole's style and felt like her prices were great, so we booked her... then came the engagement shoot and let me tell you (other than saying yes to marry my husband) I've never been happier with a choice! Nicole was an absolute godsend for the planning process and day of the wedding. Her easy going personality and great communication made for a stress-free and fun environment for everyone! Nicole was fantastic to work with - extremely responsive and got us all of the shots we requested. In a time when everyone is taking amazing photos with their cell phones, we wanted a photographer that would take photos that actually looked professionally captured (not just on the level of a new iPhone), provide direction for how to take the best possible photos and add some creativity to the shoot. We looked at a ton of photographers and Nicole's stood out to us due to her quality, style and creativeness of her photos. We could not be happier with our selection and have some amazing, high quality photos to share with family and our future children!

Amazing wedding photographer!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Nicole was the perfect photographer for our wedding. Prior to the wedding date, she answered all our questions. Her comprehensive questionnaire was easy-to-use and a one-stop-shop for giving her all the info she needed to build a photography plan for the day. She was very kind and easy to work with. Also, my husband and I are not very comfortable in front of the camera, but she did a lovely job helping us relax enough to look natural.

We love the product! The photos have a wonderful mood rich with contrast – which embodied our vintage theme. Nicole was down to meet us at an old train station, and embraced the opportunity to get shots in front of a serendipitously passing train.

Where do we begin? Planning a wedding during a pandemic is hard work, as unfortunately so many couples have experienced over the last year and a half. The style of her work instantly grabbed us as we searched on social media for a photographer and we’re so glad she was available for our wedding day. From initial meeting on Zoom, to the day of our wedding, Nicole made the entire experience stress free. She worked with us to create amazing shots before, during, and after our wedding. Our guests can still not stop talking about her professionalism and ability to blend in the crowd as to not seem intrusive. We loved working with her!

We got ahold of Nicole last minute when our original photographer cancelled on us. We were extremely lucky she was available, and I believe it was meant to be. Amazing!!!

Due to Covid-19 restrictions we ended up having to scale down our wedding immensely. We went from 196 guests to 22, and we had the most beautiful, fun-filled day we could have ever imagined. I wouldn't change a thing (sorry everyone). Nicole helped us transition the day easily and was quick to respond to emails and give us advice. We haven't seen the final gallery yet but are absolutely in love with the sneak peaks that she sent over. I am still in awe with how amazing our photos came out!!! Nicole was with us for the entire day and photographed so many special moments. It truly is a special talent to capture these moments, while making beautiful art as well. Scott and I are so grateful for Nicole's patience, artistry and flexibility! We loved her style when we chose her & she delivered that style perfectly. Nicole is pretty amazing at pinpointing details - there was a great close-up shot of the kilt and kimono we wore that expressed our cultures so beautifully... I had no idea she captured it! Somehow she was so perfectly present-but-not-there; making sure to get the right angles and shots without being intrusive. She provided many choices for each shot, the quality was incredible & it really helped us build out a beautiful wedding album. It certainly was worth the wait for the final photos!!

Nicole Lagoe was the best thing that happened to my wedding. This woman is hardworking, kind, generous, and a pleasure to be around. My husband and I were blown away when we saw the photographs she took of us for our wedding. Once we start having children we hope she will capture that journey for us as well.

Everything I could have ever wanted and more

Searched for a wedding photographer for months. It’s one of the scariest parts because you are looking for the person who will be capturing one of the most important days of your life. I found Nicole through Instagram and was blown away. I messaged her and she responded immediately which was surprising because I still had not heard back weeks after reaching out to others. I had many questions, she was patient and kind.. answered all of them for me. I decided she was the one for me because she was professional, relaxed, and her work is breathtaking. I’m a bit awkward in photos, so on my wedding day I was freaking out. Can I just say how fun and easy she made doing portraits?! Finally, let me just talk about the gallery! I printed ALL of my photos!! I’m blown away!! I agree with all of the amazing reviews in here because my experience was 10/10!!!

Defnitely recommend Nicole!

Nicole was amazing! I would definitely recommend her! We chose her based on her photography style and how laid back she was. Leading up to the wedding she was super responsive and organized and even traveled far out of her way to meet us at our venue for a walk through. Our special moments were perfectly captured for the day in her photos.The day of she was prompt, made sure we got all the shots we wanted and was relaxed. Our pictures came out beautifully and we cannot thank her enough!! We loved working with her. : )

Don't Be Fooled!

With the exception of marrying my best friend, capturing our wedding with photography was THE MOST important aspect of planning and budgeting. After months of researching, we chose Nicole. Initial communication was quick and easy and we were overly pleased with our engagement shoot. She delivered exactly what we were expecting, beautiful images and much quicker than anticipated. We had NO reason to expect anything less than the high quality from the friend we thought we made at that time. At the wedding, she showed up on time and began shooting right away. Once we went to the ceremony, she got quiet and I felt like I had to start asking for certain shots that she wasn't getting, obvious, typical, easy shots. I was also VERY detailed in the requests I had for specific moments that were important. When she was about to leave after her 6 hrs, she said the photos would be delivered in 6-8 wks with a "sneak peak" within 2 wks. Over the next 9 wks, she became non-existent, only responding to a few texts, continuously promising they'd be delivered "soon". At 10 wks and NO PHOTOS whatsoever, I rightfully became nervous and angry. She finally responded after 3 MONTHS saying she sent them to the wrong email address a week before!! We had been communicating for 8 months via email and never had a problem with email addresses. I waited another few days and they finally were sent to me. I was willing to let my anger go because I was so excited to finally see our photos. However, the nightmare only continued. We got roughly 800 photos that were primarily unedited, dark, very far away, blurry and with no creativity. There were NO detail shots and only about 5 of my husband!! There were no shots of our ring exchange, none of the aisle shots that I specifically requested (and barely any of our party coming down) and nothing of my husband and his mom. Keep in mind that our wedding was in a castle that should've been a playground for any photographer! Besides the shots I created on my own, she produced NO creative photos at all. By the time we got to the end of the 800 photos we were both in tears. We could not (and still cannot) believe this was the same photographer that did our engagement shoot! Luckily our wedding guests took photos with their phone's so we were able to get some good shots from them. This experience has truly put us in a very sad state for all these months after such a beautiful day. While there are some nice shots captured of me getting ready, that doesn't make up for all the moments lost, the lack of shots of my husband and all the money we spent to make sure we captured our day. I have spent the last 2 months editing what I can of what we were given in an attempt to heal my sadness. I'm still in disbelief that we were so wrong about her. I did attempt to contact her after all this but of course I was ignored. We spend almost every day hoping that we can get over this utter disappointment but I still find myself in tears frequently about it. If this review can encourage even one bride to chose someone else then it was worth the time I spent crying while typing it. (my account photo was NOT taken by Nicole!)

Terrible experience, got money and delivered poor out of focus pics

Nicole Lagoe is absolutely NOT the photographer I was expecting. The only positive thing was her responding to inquiries very fast while we were shopping around. When she got in possession of our money she suddenly disappeared. There was no way to reach her by email, cell or message. She told us that her phone was broken, then smth else happened and it went on and on... She was processing our 2 hour photoshoot for 2 months which is ridiculous in my personal opinion considering that this editing was so bad that we had to ask her to redo almost half of the images. They are poorly cropped, shadows are dark, many images are simply out of focus. She was very unreliable with us in our opinion. And she got in possession of our camera that she wasn't able to ship back to us for 2 months! Was planning on calling the police
