I’m so grateful that we got to meet Nicole and have her capture our engagement photos! The photos came out so lovely! I love how seamlessly we blend in with the surroundings! The pictures are truly so magical and a wonderful keepsake from our wedding season! Also, Nicole made me a feel so comfortable and really helped to direct us to get some amazing shots! Thank you!! -

From the beginning of my engagement, COVID changed the landscape of my wedding before it could even be planned. Still, Nicole as our photographer was one plan that was always set in stone. She adjusted with us when plans changed and even traveled all the way to us in Arizona to accommodate our small, intimate wedding. She became a member of our crew, enjoyed the festivities with us, and ultimately gifted us with the most beautiful wedding photos I could even imagine. I know these photos will be a beautiful part of our life memories for years to come. Thank you Nicole. -

Exceeded our expectations
Nicole is the best decision we made! She was so pleasant and professional. She made us all feel comfortable in front of the camera and makes sure your day flows smoothly. It is very obvious that Nicole has endless experience shooting weddings because everything flowed perfectly. Her photos are amazing and we will cherish them forever. -

Nicole was so great with us right from the start. Shooting our wedding and our group was not easy - mainly because I was a bride with a baby :). She was 8 months at the time, and my sis had her 4 month old... so it was pretty chaotic trying to get great shots while breastfeeding in the middle of my wardrobe changes with babies crying everywhere... but Nicole brought her calm and professional demeanor to the day and somehow made it all work. And of course, we loved our photos. We feel like she captured the emotions, people, and scenary perfectly. Thank you so much for your patience and professionalism Nicole!! -

Nicole Canegata is an artist in the truest sense of the word. She really took the time to discover our personal aesthetic and used everything at her disposal to capture it. From the first informational meeting to the final click, she made our experience exceptional. She was able to herd our large group into a fabulous full guest shot and then, just as easily capture my husband and I at the beach in our solitude. Our shots are so varied and have such compositional beauty. She was so kind to our guests. We can’t say enough about her!!! She’s awesome. -

Wedding Photos
I truly can’t say enough about our experience with Nicole. First, she is an avid traveler and during our communications prior to the wedding, she was always prompt with her response; regardless of where she was geographically. Second, we were truly down to the wire with the location of the wedding. We had initially chosen another location that didn’t work out, we didn’t let her know the new location until 18(ish) hours prior and she rolled with it like the pro she is. Third, the day of the wedding; I cannot stress this enough guys. She knew all 20 of my guests names within 20 minutes of meeting them! I was SO impressed by her level of professionalism, creativity, personalized experience..I could go on and on! Best photographer on the island (and beyond! Thank you, Nicole! -

I'd contacted Nicole in December 2018 about capturing our special day on camera. We wanted a very private ceremony, so it was just the two of us! Since we didn't have any family or friends come, we needed someone to take pictures so everyone at home would be able to see our special day also! I found Nicole on google while looking for a photographer, and let me say, SHE IS THE ONE! Neither of us had ever had professional pictures taken before, so we didn't really know what to expect. We were married on Mermaid Beach at The Buccaneer, and our elopement package included part of the cost of a photographer.) We didn't meet Nicole until we were literally at the ceremony, and we instantly loved her! She's very down to Earth, and doesn't make you feel awkward (like we were expecting to feel lol.) Her style of photography is very natural, in that she likes taking photos of the way you naturally act with each other, whereas a lot of other photographers photos look very fake/posed. There is no doubt in my mind that we chose the right person to be our photographer! It takes up to 6 weeks to get your photos back (depending on how many other jobs she's working on at the same time) and the wait was worth it! We paid for a package of 100 photos, but we received 200 because she said that she'd been extremely busy with the time of year it is, and that she hopes it makes up for the delay in receiving them. We were not at all upset with the "delay" because we understood that quality work takes time! But the extra pictures were definitely appreciated! If we had to do the day over again, we'd pick Nicole over and over to be our photographer! Thank you!!! -

NICOLE CANEGATA was very accommodating with our last minute decision to hire a photographer for our "elopement" in St. Croix. She was able to shuffle around her personal schedule to make sure we had the photos I dreamed of to relive this beautiful moment over and over again. Not to mention she was very nurturing... My husband and I had never had a photo shoot/session with only the two of us, so I know how awkward we were to say the least. Somehow she was able to make the photos appear so natural and effortless. :) I loved working with Nicole Canegata and would highly recommend her for any photo needs in USVI. -
