Castelblanco Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, he was incredibly communicative, patient, and reassuring. When I was feeling overwhelmed, tired, or frustrated, he met me with so much kindness and calm that I truly felt supported every step of the way. He even put up with my coping mechanisms.
One of the most meaningful parts of our experience was that he speaks Spanish. Being able to communicate in Spanish helped me relax and be myself in front of the camera, and it meant everything to see how effortlessly he connected with my Spanish-speaking family. It made me feel comfortable, which is something I’ll always be grateful for.
We were also so lucky to have a second photographer, Camilo, who was just as amazing. Both my husband and I are not naturally comfortable in front of a camera, but Camilo’s easygoing, warm personality immediately put him at ease. Together, they made the entire experience feel natural, genuine, and even fun.
The turnaround time for our photos was incredible, and when we received them, we were completely blown away. They captured moments, emotions, and details we didn’t even realize were happening. Our Christmas card was all wedding pictures. To this day I find a new picture that I love that I make prints of.
We cannot recommend Castelblanco Photography and his team enough. They are not just talented photographers — they are kind, patient people who truly cared to make use feel like a special couple and made us feel like they really cared about our day as much as we did. -

He was extremely compassionate and kind, making us feel understood and supported every step of the way. We really liked his unique style of taking candid pictures which resulted in outstanding quality photos that beautifully captured the special moments and intimate details of our celebration. Nicolas was incredibly flexible, listening carefully to our preferences and ensuring he documented all the main events. He is very personable and we appreciated how he interacted with our guests, being discreet when needed but also present, very kind and supportive. The way he used the light and framed each scene was truly breathtaking. We are thrilled with the stunning, one-of-a-kind photos that will allow us to relive our wedding day for years to come. -

From the moment we contacted Nicolas from Castelblanco he was professional and went above and beyond to make our wedding day memorable. He truly wants his clients to be happy. Nicolas was prompt at responding to questions and listened to our vision we wanted for our photographs. We were draws to his journalistic style from his great website and instagram pictures. He also was kind to provide us with recommendations for a wedding coordinator and videographer when we asked for help finding one. I very much appreciated meeting Nicolas at our wedding venue a few days before the wedding to meet in person. We highly recommended Nicolas to capture your special occasions as we truly loved how our wedding pictures turned out. -

We can’t say enough great things about Nicolas. His photos are absolutely stunning, and he has such an incredible eye for light and shadow that makes every shot feel cinematic and full of life. When we look at our pictures, it truly feels like we’re right back in the moment.
He was so professional and easy to work with from the start. Our wedding space wasn’t typical, but he visited beforehand to plan everything and completely nailed it on the day. He was also so flexible with my ever-changing list of photos (which I kept tweaking up until a few weeks before) and somehow captured all of them, plus a hundred beautiful moments we didn’t even know were happening.
What I loved most is how he made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He knows how to find your best angles and gives gentle direction that makes you look natural, confident, and incredible.
If you want photos that are both gorgeous and deeply personal, the kind that truly let you feel your wedding day all over again, Nicolas is your person. -

Picture Perfect
Nicolas is a very professional photographer who is prompt in his responses and thorough in his work. The price did not disappoint and it worked perfect with our budget. He made our wedding day unforgettable and we found his candid style worked best for us. We were interested in capturing the moment along with those traditional photos as well. Nicolas arrived on time and captured our memories throughout the day. From the moment we were getting ready, the limo ride, the ceremony, and the reception. All the images were unforgettable. Out of every vendor we hired for our wedding day, Nicolas was among the best! He was super low maintenance and relaxed, he was on time, and our photos turned out amazing. The candid shots he was able to capture, particularly on the dance floor, were incredible. We would 10/10 book him again, and would recommend to anyone needing a professional photographer for any special event. I have been to many weddings where the photographer(s) control the entire day, dictating every step the bride & groom take to "get the shot". Nicolas is not that! If you want to actually enjoy your wedding day, and have a photographer that captures incredible photos without controlling your every move, then he is your guy! -

Made us feel comfortable and like naturals
Nicolas did our engagement photoshoot a few months back. This was the first photoshoot my fiance or I ever did and Nicolas made us super comfortable and confident. We didn't feel awkward or shy once he brought the camera out and began the shoot. He had creative ideas and utilized the setting very well. Our photos came out better than we could have imagined! I would highly recommend using Nicolas for any of your photography needs. We'd definitely hire him again in a heartbeat. -
