My daughter's wedding
I hired Nice Vibe Events for the lighting and music entertainment for my daughter's wedding. I was very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail that Michael (DJ) delivered to my daughter's special day. Michael kept the music flowing all night, which kept the dance floor packed to the end of the night for the Bride & Groom's last dance. Michael kept to my daughters play list that was provided prior to the event, and he was also able to accommodate and work in the request from the guest. I still have guest commenting on how awesome the music and lighting was that night! Nice Vibe Events kept the door of communication open from the time of hiring them to the nights last dance. they were quick to answer any questions, resolve any concerns, as well as provide advice from a professional stand point. We loved Michael and Manny, these guys know what they are doing. Everyone at the wedding was dancing all night long, I never saw an empty dance floor. We also like the fact that we didn't have to go up to them to request a song since everything he played was spot on. Manny did an amazing job hyping up the crowd loved that he would switch Spanish/English for all the family to understand. The lighting was soo awesome, we were blown away of how awesome it looked. Michael also answered all our questions and was really quick to respond to emails that really helped us alot. Thank you Nice Vibe! -

The DJ was there to set up and check sound before the doors opened to the guests. Him and his son were attentive to any requests before the reception started as well as during. He had microphones that worked and were easy to turn on and off for guests to use for speeches. The DJ had the crowd dancing and made sure to include what the bride and groom wanted to hear. He worked well with the wedding planner and was able to stay on times with the wedding reception timeline. He was polite, funny, and energetic which made for a perfect DJ combination. He has a great understanding of music as well as profeaaionalism. Highly recommend this DJ! -

Nice Vibes were very professional! They arrived at the event one hour ahead of schedule to set up. The inside of the photo booth was large; many people were able to fit into the picture. It was the hit of the party! I would use them again! The price was more than fair! Win, win!

DJ Joe Torres with Nice Vibe Events lit the dance floor on fire the entire night. He did some emcee and introduced our wedding party as they entered the venue. By far blew us away with his variety of music and keeping people on the dance floor all night long! We highly recommend him!! Semper Fi -

Joey did an amazing job on my wedding. He is good at reading the audience and play different songs to make the dancing floor fun and full. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants trouble free wedding DJ! -

Our dance floor was never empty!!! You know you have a great DJ when everyone is dancing and having a great time the moment the dance floor opens! Joe did a fantastic job at sticking to music that we loved...which was a variety...everyone enjoyed it! He also did our lighting, it was beyond beautiful! He made the ballroom feel like a fairy tale! Nothing but great things to say about Joe and his team, they do great work! -

Joe was absolutely phenomenal! We could not have dreamed of a better choice for DJ at our wedding! From our first meeting through wedding day, Joe was professional, accommodating and timely! He sent detailed reminder emails helping keep us on task which was such a relief to an already busy bride! He had microphones for our outdoor venue so that all of our guests could hear the vows (bonus that it coordinated with our videographer for pristine sound). During the reception he read our crowd perfectly and I can genuinely say the dance-floor was alive. Of the vendors we used for our wedding day, Nice Vibes would be at the top of our list of recommendations! -

We found Nice Vibe Events through an internet search after the DJ hired by our wedding event coordinator cancelled. From the first contact with Joe, who handed arrangements, until the last dance, doing business with Nice Vibe Events was a pleasure. Our DJ, Michael, did a great job selecting music that appealed to our diverse group of guests and managing the wedding timeline. He was pleasant and very professional. We also appreciate the business acumen of the company. The contract, online payment, and event reminders were all very professional and much appreciated. -

Texas Oncology hired Nice Vibe for Holiday Party at Royal Sonesta Hotel on December 2, 2016. Highly recommend! Found Nice Vibe by internet search. Inquired on website about services and received a response almost immediately. Customer service was excellent from the first conversation to the closing of my event. Proposals, invoices, Certificate of Insurance and receipts are available instantly via Nice Vibe's secured business online portal. No exchange of emails with large attachments back and forth. Their site is secure and you can pay directly with a credit card. Days prior to our event, Joe and Michael reviewed the event agenda, floor plans and expectations with me. They were prompt the day of the event and their set up was flawless. All of their staff gave you a level of comfort knowing they could deliver top notch service. Hired a DJ, photo booth and gobos to light up the ballroom. The DJ was engaging and played a great assortment of music. The photo booth was a hit with fun props and guests walked away with 2 photo strips. At the close of the event, we were given a USB drive of all of the photos. The gobo lighting lit up the entire ballroom with snowflakes. Our event was a hit thanks to Nice Vibe. Without a doubt, we will hire them again for future events. -

Michael and Joe were simply amazing. From the first contact, I could tell the level of professionalism of this company. We had a very specific song list to be played in our wedding and Michael was absolutely on point with our selection. He also knew the exact time to play certain songs to keep everyone on the dance floor. One of my guests said it was one of those events that should have never ended.

LOVED Nice Vibe Events! We are still getting compliments about our wedding 2 months after the fact. We asked for a dance party and that is what we got. The dance floor was packed all night and Joe did an outstanding job! He was so easy to work with and very responsive at emails. Hands down would have them again. We have even talked about our next big party of hiring them to do the music for it. Cannot say enough about Nice Vibe Events it set such an outstanding tone to our wedding that people didn't want to leave.

Nice Vibe Events provided DJ & Photobooth services for our 25th Anniversary Party. We had a variety of backgrounds from young to old, Hispanic, Asian, Russian and White. The music blend was perfect! The dance floor always had guests dancing and enjoying the music. The photobooth was a hit as well! Great variety of themes and friendly attendant. Pictures were excellent and they provided a usb for us to look at all the photos. Definitely would recommend Nice Vibe Events for your party! -

Joe Torres came recommended from our venue, The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center. I wasn't sure how much of a dancing crowd we would have, but Joe assured us with the right mix of music they'd be out there. And he was right. We knew our audience well, and Joe knew how to play just what they would like. I said we were an older crowd and we didn't want the party to be like a club scene as it was essential that people could talk during the wedding or boogie on the dance floor. He took this to heart as the chicken dance was a hit, (the kids love it), everyone was doing their best YMCA, and we filled the dance floor with the Aggie War Hymn. I've been to a lot of weddings, and we've seen where a DJ can make or break the reception. My friends gave Joe a thumbs up and said it was definitely a great wedding. We splurged and got the photo booth, which was well worth it. We got copies of all the pictures from our guests in the photo booth, and this will make a priceless memory in the years to come. Joe was quick to respond to emails and texts, and with two short meetings before the wedding, we were ready to go. We were tired of vendor meetings by the time we met Joe, and he assured us everything would be under control, that we didn't even look at anyone else. Highly recommend. -

We found Nice Vibe Events through Yelp. My husband and I planned the wedding on our own and DJ Joe was extremely helpful throughout the process. He was responsive, met up with us to consult ideas, answered all of my texts and calls, overall he was very accommodating. Not to mention, his rates are fair. The DJ station and photobooth were set up nicely. The photobooth was a high quality, interactive color booth. He provided a lot of props that kept everyone entertained, including my two nieces (4 and 6 years old) who would jump in all of the pictures. I had family from Peru come to the wedding and DJ Joe’s son translated all of the major announcements (first dances, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc). The music selection kept the crowd entertained (~80 people). Overall, I was very pleased to have hired DJ Joe and I highly recommend his work! Thank you DJ Joe. -

Nice Vibe Events (I worked specifically with Joe Torres) did an AMAZING job at my wedding in December. We were faced with inclement weather at what was supposed to be an outdoor wedding with a DJ during both ceremony and reception, but Joe was flexible and was prepared for both indoor and outdoor options. His contributions definitely made our (ultimately indoor) ceremony and reception absolutely perfect. We did uplighting in the reception hall through Joe and I've received so many compliments from guests about how great the lights were as well as how great the music was! We provided Joe with a playlist which he used but he also played songs not on the playlist that we really liked as well. Basically we were dancing the entire time at the reception and so were our guests which is what we were going for! I felt like he really got our style for the music as well as the overall feel we were going for during our event.
I did pretty extensive research on prices for DJs before going with Nice Vibe and I feel that in the Houston area for the quality of the work and professionalism you can't really beat Nice Vibe's prices. I would 150% recommend Joe/Nice Vibe to anyone. -

He gave us the perfect blend of classy cocktail hour and hoppin' reception. Kept everybody on the dance floor when the time was right. He had a perfect feel for our music style and kept the event moving on schedule. Super professional to work with, yet very cool!!

Nice Vibe did a wonderful job at my wedding! I hired them for their DJ services and I was not disappointed. We started off working with Joe, who was super helpful and answered all questions quickly both by email and phone calls. Michael Vasquez. He was amazing to work with. He's very professional, easy to talk to and very efficient. Everyone at our reception loved the music selections and had a blast dancing. He took requests and even acknowledged that they were requests. He kept everything upbeat and fun! -

Nice Vibe events was without question the easiest vendor I worked with while planning our wedding. They were very responsive, and provided us with high quality lighting and DJ services for a very affordable price. We were very complicated with the many different songs we want played during an elaborate entrance, and were specific about types of songs we want played during various times of the reception and they executed it perfectly. There are many different options for DJ's in Houston but we would highly recommend Nice Vibe events. We already have a few of our wedding guests booking them for their upcoming weddings. Overall, helped make the wedding of our dreams come through with their DJ services. Thank you! -

We had a wide range of ages of our guests and Joe did a great job of keeping everyone entertained. In addition to providing DJ services, he did our photobooth, slideshow, lighting, trusses and monitors for the slideshow. Joe did a fantastic job DJ-ing our wedding and providing a photobooth! Joe was great to work with, super nice, and very professional. He met with us and set up a phone call the week before the wedding to make sure he knew the timeline and was well-prepared for the event. We were anticipating that our friends and family would not want to dance much, but Joe did a great job of getting everyone to the dance floor. Our guests had tons of fun and loved the photo booth. Nice Vibe Events was an excellent vendor! Joe Torres is extremely professional and was able to work around my budget and needs with ease. He gave great suggestions about music options and lighting, and I ended up using him for both lighting decor and the DJ. I would have gone with him for the photobooths as well, but had to use a vendor from a previous year due to that contract. Joe kept me updated throughout the months leading up to the date and I felt so relaxed and at ease with him. Nice Vibe lit up the space beautifully using table uplighting on the bar highs and uplighting on the large columns, and everybody remarked at how amazing it all looked. I am absolutely recommending him for future events and would go with him again for all the decor-related services. It was so easy to keep the lighting and DJ with one vendor, and if I could do it again, I'd get the photobooth and other options with Nice Vibe too. -

Choosing Joe Torres and Nice Vibe was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. He provided the music for the ceremony and the reception.
Joe's music absolutely made our wedding. When we originally talked to him, I expressed that our guests were a bit older and probably wouldn't be too interested in dancing. He assured me that he would get them up and moving. I thought, hmmm...good luck with that. Boy was I wrong.
His musical choices had our wedding guests partying and dancing the night away. Everyone was raving about how much fun they had. I've never seen so many older people shake their booty!
Joe is professional, reliable and has a great sense of timing.

From the first meeting with Joe we knew we had chosen the right DJ for our wedding. He's very personable and works hard to make your event music and lighting exactly what you want. He was very thorough during our meetings to help iron out all the details. The day of our wedding we got several compliments from guests on how great the music mix was! I have to say - Joe Torres with Nice Vibe was the BEST vendor that I hired for my wedding! We booked with him to do our ceremony sound & to DJ our reception. He & his son were amazing. I didn't have to think twice about them; they went above and beyond. My wedding was very DIY - and Nice Vibe was 5 star quality and worth every penny. He was so patient and understanding during the wedding planning process - and on the day of, he was self reliant, got there early, and was extremely professional. One of my vendors showed up dressed like a slob; not Joe! He looked so nice in a suit jacket; very clean cut. I have been to a lot of weddings where the DJ didn't know how to play to the size crowd, room, etc - and I have to say that Nice Vibe did a perfect job. We didn't even serve alcohol at our wedding, as my husband is sober - and he still got people out on the dance floor! He was also fantastic about watching our subtle cues for cutting music short. For example, my father / daughter dance was beautiful, but we both started crying! We had intended to dance to the entire song, but just one glance at Joe - and he seamlessly ended the song. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him, again! -

Nice Vibe Events did an amazing job. We had them DJ and MC our wedding reception. Joe did a great job working with us to make sure we had everything ready and provided very quick feedback when we had any questions. Manny was the MC for the event and he did an amazing job keeping the reception moving and when we fell a little behind, he got us back on track without making it feel rushed. Both Manny and Joe were very professional and very flexible with any requests we had. Their price was very affordable and they went far beyond anything I had expected. They were easily one of the most flexible and friendly vendors we worked with and we are extremely satisfied with their work. -

Joe and his team can honestly be considered some of the best in the business. His communication was always clear and concise, and he was very responsive when we had questions. We only communicated through email, which is a plus in my opinion, because planning a wedding is already stressful enough without worrying about coordinating meetings and trying to hunt down a vendor for responses. A few days before our event, Joe provided his contact phone number, and confirmed that we had everything planned the way we wanted it. He even allowed us to build a custom playlist on Spotify for him to work from. On the day of the event, he started setting up at 12PM for our 6PM wedding. They brought all their own gear, unloaded it themselves, and set up in both of our locations, with audio checks and multiple verifications before the first guest even showed up. I'm not a fan of the standard DJ lighting that only sits in front of the booth, and has lasers everywhere. When I explained this to Joe, he offered options for uplighting and surrounding controlled lighting. This was exactly what I wanted, and really turned our venue into the club atmosphere that makes people feel free to booze dance to their heart's content. We got so many compliments on the lighting and the music that I will recommend this vendor to anyone who is considering a DJ service. It was definitely worth every penny. -

Nice Vibe was such a joy to work with- Joe took the time for a lengthy sit-down meeting during which we discussed all the details of the event. We had some unique requests as it was a bi-cultural wedding. Joe was able to find all of the music that we needed and his execution of the ceremony and reception were flawless. He even came to the rehearsal to make sure everything would go smoothly the next day.
My guests can't stop talking about the music and how much fun it was. Joe played everything on my playlist and even added some fun dance music to keep the crowd going. Up-lighting was part of the package, but Joe added some amazing colored lights as the evening progressed.
My husband and I will always think back to our reception with a big smile- thinking of all of our friends and family having a blast on the dance floor. Big thanks to Joe and his assistants for helping to make our wedding day unforgettable! -

Nice Vibe Events was fantastic! We had quite a mix of guests and the DJ was able to accommodate all of our tastes from classical to hip hop. I watched the wedding video for the first time and was surprised at how many people got up and danced. Old grandpa was out cutting the rug with young "twerkers" and hip hoppers were trying to do the two step with our country relatives. Both Joe and Joey were very professional and provided helpful feedback prior to the reception. They both showed up at my rehearsal at no extra charge and were very patient until it came time to discuss music with them. They both are very approachable and personable, you'll enjoy having them around.
I had an outdoor ceremony so Nice Vibe Events provided a speaker and a microphone for the J.P. which was awesome, considering all my wedding venue had available was a boom box that ran on batteries. Joey showed up early to set up for ceremony music.
I was super late coming back from the ceremony but my guests liked the pre-dinner music as well. Ours was a bilingual wedding, and Joey provided a mix of Spanish and English songs to please both crowds (he even threw in some 80s Rock en Español!). I knew a lot of people would not be dancing at my wedding but Joey had people on the dance floor for the entirety of the dance portion of the reception.
Joey was great as an MC! I relied on him a lot to keep the wedding on track as I forgot my reception schedule. He maintained high energy until the end of the reception and a big smile despite not getting to eat!
Nice Vibe Events provides you with a form you fill out asking your music requests for each event on your wedding. This is very helpful if this is the first time you're getting married and you haven't been to many weddings: I used it to plan out my schedule.
Joey acknowledged my requests on paper while putting his spin on things once he scoped out his audience. Since mine was a small wedding, Joey was great about listening to my requests about shortening a song or playing a different genre on site.
I'm glad I hired Nice Vibe Events and highly recommend Joe and Joey!

Joe was a consummate professional for our wedding. The wedding music was great and people were dancing even before dinner was served! I have to say that Joe checked all the boxes on our wish list for a DJ and more. He knows how to mix up the music to meet everyone's tastes and was instrumental in helping to coordinate the evening's events (ie ceremony, dinner, speeches, dancing and farewell).
I would highly recommend Nice Vibes to anyone in the Houston area looking for a caring and responsive DJ. You put a lot of faith into people for events like a wedding because you only get one shot and Joe and his son knocked it out of the park for us and things could not have been more fun. -

What can I say about you? You have been A-MAZING from the beginning to the end. You were flexible to meet with us wherever we were especially under the circumstances of having 2 kids with us. Second year in a row to use Joe and his group...could not ask for anything more than we received! The DJ played exactly the kind of music we requested for the event. In addition, he was quick to reduce the volume any time we asked. The kids at the event loved all the kid-friendly songs that he played to keep them on the dance floor! -

I had a reception for 120 colleagues and we waited until the last minute to decide whether to hire a photographer. Jesus was awesome!
