Next Level Entertainment totally blew our expectations and made our dream wedding a reality!! Joe Cortez is super patient and really easy to work with. Joe is the best

Joe was recommended by anyone we talk to in Maui that was involved in planning our wedding.

He carefully met with us two or three times to make sure he got everything correct.
He kept the times we needed to hit for first dance, cake cutting etc
He has a great thing he did at the end of the night. He had everyone surround us, he lowered the lights and have everyone use their phones as flashlights beamed on us as we danced a very special song.

Joe contributed heavily into an amazing day.

From the very first conversation, Joe made us feel heard. He didn’t just nod along—he got our musical taste. I knew he was our DJ when he immediately recognized the YouTube artists I love—Albert Posis, Jeremy Passion, Jesse Barrera, AJ Rafael—and worked them into the plan with total respect for the vibe we wanted.

Day-of, Joe went above and beyond. He was incredibly flexible and helped us pull off a last-minute idea to have all our guests stand and create a pathway for our grand entrance—no stress, just smooth execution. He even worked in an original medley that one of my bridesmaids produced for their walk down the aisle; the timing and cueing were flawless.

Best DJ ever!!!

Joe was the DJ for our wedding two weeks ago and he is AMAZING. Throughout the whole process, he was super easy to work with, super informative, professional, and just all around awesome. He immediately knows the vibe, is so great at reading the room to get everyone up and dance, and has impeccable taste in music.
- His uplighting was STUNNING - the colors, placement around the venue and dance floor, all of it. He created the most epic party vibe for us.
- I was super concerned about the microphones and sound for the ceremony due to wind and cars driving by. The sound was SPOT ON. I wanted loud, and we got loud! Everyone could hear our vows, which was incredibly important to me.
- He is so joyful and fun! The guest feed off his vibe. Everyone was raging all night long. Truly, the best night ever. I had SOOOO much fun. All of our guests were raving about out DJ!
- My mom wanted to sing a song during our reception, and Joe was SO gracious about it. He spent time prepping with her, and it ended up being a huge hit. He made sure it all went smooth. It was one of the highlights of my night, and of my mom's life she said. It meant so much to our family.
I am forever grateful to Joe for helping to cultivate the best day/night of my life. I SUPER strongly recommend Joe for your upcoming event.

Joe Cortez is the Man!

Joe Cortez was the best DJ we could have ever asked for! In addition to excellent music and sound, the lighting was exactly what we envisioned for our special day. From the moment we were introduced to Joe, we knew we were in good hands and our wedding would be full of epic sound and energy. He killed it, and everyone had such a great time. He made sure to play our favorite hits and even some deep Bay Area tracks to get the crowd going! What a night; Joe is a consummate professional and all around great dude. Would highly recommend!

Excellent DJ!

We knew that the DJ was one of the most important components of our wedding since we wanted to throw a party for our friends and family. We decided to work with Joe after meeting with him and learning about his various experiences as a DJ and his knowledge about setting the stage and throwing the perfect party for important events. Everything from the wedding ceremony to the cocktail hour to the party that went past midnight, we were so happy we chose to work with Joe. We met with Joe several times to discuss our music choices and genres and trusted him to work off our preferred choices – and we were beyond pleased with the results! Our party was a mix of EDM, hip hop / rap and dance songs. We also had very good vibes during cocktail/hour and dinner. Joe is very organized and you can definitely count on him to come through at your wedding!

Our Maui wedding wouldn't have been the same without the incredible talent of DJ Joe. From the moment we met him, his friendly and kind demeanor immediately put us at ease, and we knew we were in good hands.

DJ Joe's organization skills were second to none, ensuring that every detail of our intimate wedding was perfectly executed. We were initially worried that our guests might be too shy to hit the dance floor, but Joe had a solution for everything. With his amazing ideas and fun games, he effortlessly warmed the atmosphere, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening of celebration.

One of the highlights of the night was our first dance, which was a custom mashup. Joe went above and beyond to help us edit the music multiple times until it was just right, never once complaining or hesitating to lend his expertise.

The BEST DJ, Highly recommend - Thanks, Joe!

We LOVED working with Next Level Entertainment & DJ Joe Cortez for our wedding in Maui. We hired NLE for DJ & EmCee services, Photobooth & Up lighting and we can't speak more highly of Joe or recommend him more. We got to meet with Joe several times via Zoom & in person prior to the wedding to discuss how we wanted our big day to go and Joe was so on top of it. The reception went very smooth and he did a wonderful job as EmCee. Once the dance floor opened, Joe absolutely crushed it! As Bay Area natives, we wanted to bring the Bay to that island and he did not disappoint. We & our guests had so much fun dancing the night away! The photobooth was also a big hit! Joe and his team helped us customize our backdrop and photos which was such a nice touch for our guests. Mahalo, Joe! Thanks for making our special day truly unforgettable!

Amazing Wedding Experience

Joe Cortez and the Next Level Entertainment team were absolutely amazing to work with! Joe’s energy was infectious from the first meeting we had with him! He asked all the right questions and got us so excited for the reception! You can tell he loves what he does and is just so happy to make the event exactly what you want it to be! For us, he created so many fun and memorable moments at our wedding reception! He is so good at reading the room and making sure all guest are having the best time! Along with the DJ services, we purchased a light package from Joe and that REALLY set the scene! It was the perfect, extra touch to have music and lights be synced up for our event! We also greatly appreciated the content his team produced throughout the ceremony! Our videographer services ended soon after the dance party began so it was a really cool surprise to see NLE put together quality footage of the dance party! We had so much fun with Joe and his team and highly recommend his services! Thank you Joe!!

Best DJ and MC! Highly Recommend

Picking the right DJ was a big deal for my husband and I. Setting the right vibe, understanding the energy of the audience, and keeping the dance floor lit was VERY important to us. We also have some friends who are DJs, so I think our bar is somewhat high compared to the average person.

Joe did such an incredible job as a DJ and MC, we truly couldn't have asked for more. Our guests kept raving about how good the music, mixing, and MCing was! He did an amazing job of reading the energy of the audience and making sure that the night flowed with ease and perfection. He executed on our vision SO PERFECTLY, we are both beyond impressed. My husband and I are both from the Bay Area and let me tell you, Joe was able to bring the Bay Area vibes to the islands! We had so much fun with our guests on the dance floor!

Joe was also such a pleasure to work with. Very professional, asked all the right questions, great attention to detail, and even went above and beyond by providing us with some insight on our day-of timeline. This was a huge game changer for us and helped make the night flow much smoother. He clearly knows his stuff, and we felt really confident in our decision to work with him even before our actual wedding day.

Highly recommend Joe and would work with him again in a heartbeat!

Amazing DJ

Joe was amazing and made our wedding such a perfect experience. He was very attentive to little things that were said in some of our dinner speeches and incorporated that into his song choices. Our guests had an amazing time dancing and he created a high energy party. We also really enjoyed the photo booth which was able to change backgrounds from day to evening. Best emcee/DJ for your wedding

We first experience Joe Cortez and his Next Level Entertainment (NLE) team at a friend's wedding a couple of years back. We knew from that moment that we were going to hire NLE to emcee/DJ our wedding. From our very first meeting all the way to our big day, Joe was very down to earth and easy to communicate with. Joe takes his time getting to know you and what you want and offers suggestions that may improve the flow of the reception. Since we had been planning our wedding during a pandemic, Joe made the process very easy and most importantly stress free. Joe and his team was able to raise the energy level of the guests and was able to keep the guests engaged throughout the night. They made everyone feel welcome, relaxed, and everyone had a great time. One of our best wedding planning decisions.

Highly Recommended

Joe and the NLE team did an amazing job at our wedding. All our guests were raving about them. They did an excellent job personalizing our wedding to what we wanted. Everything from our ceremony to reception flowed nicely thanks to NLE.

From the planning process, Joe took the time to meet with us while we were in Maui. He even reached out to meet with us while on his vacation on Oahu (where we are from). He was so easy to work with and accommodated our last minute changes.
We loved our grand entrance and our personalized first dance song. He also had the idea of reading a letter to my dad before our father daughter dance that made it extra special. The Newlywed game by Jay was hilarious – all our guests loved it. There were so many emotions that day from laughter to happy tears to moments that we will cherish forever. This is all thanks to NLE that really took our wedding to the “Next Level”.
They are hands down the best decision we made and highly recommended to anyone looking for a wedding DJ.

Best Dance Party Ever

Picking a DJ was one of the hardest things for my husband and I when planning our wedding. We have significantly different music tastes and we thought it would be hard to find someone that would be able to blend our music. When we first met with Joe from Next Level Entertainment, we knew immediately he was the man for the job. He talked with us and got a feel for our style and gave us good ideas of where our different music styles would work best during the wedding. One of the first questions Joe asked us was “when people leave your wedding, what word do you want them to use to describe it?”. Our response to that was “fun!” and Joe DEFINITELY made that happen. We’ve had so many of our guests tell us that it was the most fun wedding that they had ever been to. I’m pretty sure I never left the dance floor because I loved every single song.

My maid of honor had a last minute request for Joe to help make a Disney mash-up for her toast as a surprise to me. Joe made it happen without any problems and she was so happy with the result (as was I!!). Joe was so flexible and easy going, he made everything super easy with the music.

Next Level Entertainment also has a photo booth that you can rent from them and I would HIGHLY recommend it! They bring so many fun props to play around with. You get print outs of all the photos, but also on top of that, you get an email with a link to all of the photos, in case you end up losing your picture from dancing so hard. It was so special to see all of our friends photos a few days after and laugh at all of their antics.

We would highly recommend this company for any DJ services that you need. Thank you, Joe, for taking our wedding to the next level and making it a night we’ll never forget!!!!

Awesome Social Booth!

Joe Cortez & team was so awesome to work with! We hired Next Level Entertainment to provide a social booth for our wedding and it was so fun! Wedding reception was magic. Almost unbelievable.

Next Level turns a wedding reception into a professional performance, catered to the couple's personality and vision, that is unlike any other reception I've seen.

The program is professional because they pay attention to detail that many others miss, like transitions from one highlight moment to the next, that create a flow to the event and leave no dull moment.

They cater the program to the couple by meeting with the couple beforehand and thoroughly investigating the couple's background, their relationships with their wedding party, and their love story. The result is a program that goes deeper than surface level activities, leaving audience members feeling like they're experiencing a special moment rather than going through the motions.

The reception is unique because they incorporate activities that I've never seen before. I'll put it this way, I had several people tell me that they didn't go to the bathroom because they were afraid they would miss something! They are a must have in my book, and I will be forever grateful that my wedding reception was Next Level.

Next Level Entertainment was very highly recommended! They are very responsive in getting back to you and very easy to work with. They made sure everything that we wanted to happen, happened on our day. Our wedding day was amazing from lighting, dj, emcee, monograms, photo booth, everything. Joe listened to our ideas and even tweaked it to make it better. They had made our reception program amazing. Our guest had told us they were just so many emotions throughout the whole reception from laughter and ALOT happy tears, from a creative bridal party entrance, personalize first dance, letter to my dad, love story, etc. my husband and I, bridal party and guests had love every single part of the ceremony and reception. I would definitely do it all over again! I highly recommend them!

From the start of our wedding planning we knew we wanted Next Level at our event. Joe and Jay are really personable and easy to talk to. When ever we had questioned they were right there to respond. From the start of our wedding ceremony to the end of the reception they touched on so many emotions- it was amazing! My wife and I had a grand idea for our wedding party entrance and Jay delivered! I can't say enough incredible things about Joe. Joe was recommended by our wedding coordinator at our reception venue, and it was one of the best decisions I made. Joe's ability to personalize the wedding day is something I have never seen before. Friends and family kept commenting that they've never been to a wedding like ours and asking how we thought of certain details? The answer - it was Joe's idea.

Leading up to the wedding, Joe was very responsive and organized. I had a FaceTime call with him and my fiancé and then we were lucky enough to be able to meet with him in person a couple of months before the wedding. This allowed him to include many personalizations for our wedding day and make the event special for not only us, but everyone who attended.

The day of the wedding, Joe did more than just play music. He and his team created an event that flowed nicely and kept the party going the whole night. He played parts of songs at times and played the whole song when it was a hit with the group. I would recommend Joe 100% if he is available for your wedding day - you will not regret it.

Joe and Jason from Next Level Entertainment literally took things to the next level in all aspects. They took our ideas and ran with them, amplifying them and really creating a truly memorable wedding day. They were very detailed and organized. Very professional and experienced, which was so helpful in putting our timeline together in a way that would flow and grab the attention of our guests, especially because we had a large guest list. Just after our first meeting I really felt that we could trust them with our reception program and really not need to worry about anything. They also made time to meet with our wedding planner so that everyone was on the same page. We were so appreciative for this because we didn’t need to be the middle men in relaying info – we already had so much on our minds as the day was getting closer. On the day of we had to make a change in the program because we were waiting on a musician to arrive so I could do my hula. Before I even brought it up, they had handled it and everything worked out seamlessly. We are so grateful for Joe and Jason!

Joe and the team really made our celebration to the next level and beyond. They ensured that we are relaxed and did not have to worry a thing during the reception. We had to adjust our wedding date because we really want them to be part of our wedding and it was all WORTH IT! They are always available via text/email/ in person during the preparation.

The flow of the program was really good as well. I noticed that most of my visitors and guests stayed until the end of the celebration. Even until now, our guests still give comments to our reception all because of Next Level!

Thank you so much Joe & Jay for being part of our wedding. Arvin and I hope for more success. You guys are awesome!

Where do I even begin? I knew when we first started planning I NEEDED the BEST in what Maui could offer as far as DJ/Emcee services and well we got just that! Joe and his team at Next Level Entertainment was the all in one package deal for us! He did such an awesome job from lighting, our monogram and even making our first dance one, no one will ever forget! He kept the party going and there was no down time at all! All in all, we couldn’t have chose a better DJ/Emcee service! We’d do it all again in a heartbeat!
P.S. We still get compliments on how awesome the program was. Especially our love story! Thank you for talking us into sharing!!

Joe and JJ were absolutely essential in facilitating the atmosphere that my husband and I were looking for in our wedding. If I were to recommend one vendor that you MUST have, it is Next Level Entertainment. We received so many compliments that our wedding was the most fun, meaningful wedding our guests have been to.

Not only were our guests happy, but my husband and I enjoyed Joe and JJ immensely. From the beginning of our planning process, they met with us and helped us to curate meaningful moments during our wedding that would be entertaining and heartfelt for us and all of our guests. There was flow and depth to the program -- every programatic element had way more meaning than just the father daughter dance, first dance, bridal party entrances etc. Joe and JJ really learn about the couple romantically and socially and integrate their knowledge of those stories to make every moment unique. These guys know what they are doing. They are the definition of professionalism and I never had to worry about them during any step in my wedding planning process. Next Level Entertainment is amazing to work with as they were both our DJ and MC for our wedding! They really worked with us on what we wanted to have in our program and really made the night really fun. They are very responsive in getting back to you and very easy to work with as they truly enjoy working with your ideas and making it happen. Joe even helped me create a remix for a surprise dance for my husband a few days before the wedding. Our favorite thing that they did was the personalized first dance as it was truly one of our highlights of the night. Many of our guests loved how fun and entertaining NLE were and made our wedding memorable. Highly recommend them for any occasion!

NLE was the best thing we could have done for our wedding! Joe was amazing to work with! Very easy, encouraging, and so creative with all our ideas! He elevated our wedding in ways that our guest were so entertained they are still talking about it a week later!! Everything was absolutely perfect!! Next Level Entertainment brought our wedding and what we had envisioned to a whole nother level. Their professionalism was exceptional and they know how to throw a good party. Our guests were raving about how much fun they had at our wedding and how entertaining it was. But really it was these guys who made that happen. We didn't have a wedding planner and people thought we were crazy for not having one but they had the entire reception under control. They handled every unexpected change in the timeline that was outlined with ease and the reception flowed smoothly with no loss in energy or excitement. They really take the time to get to know you as a couple and they customized our wedding to reflect us. We would definitely recommend Next Level Entertainment to anyone who is looking for a DJ/emcee for their wedding because these guys definitely raise the bar!

Where do I start with these guys? I am still in complete utter shock (jaw dropping) at how A-frickin-MAZING Next Level Entertainment were at my wedding. Many of my guests have been constantly complimenting how fun the entertainment was. It kept them on their toes wanting more.

The first time I seen Joe & Jay was at a friend's wedding (I wasn't engaged at that time), and I already knew I wanted both of them if I were to get married. When that time came, I called Joe right away to book him. At our first meeting, I didn't know what I really wanted, but Joe came up with creative ideas. Then throughout the planning, he was always encouraging to do fun/unique things. He was also not difficult to get in contact with when you needed help with something.

What amazed me the most was not only had he worked with the bride and the groom, he also worked with both of my matron & maid of honors, without us knowing, with their music speech. It was such a surprise! I also loved how Jay told our love story, too! It was more than we expected. SO PERFECT!

Overall, you tell them what you want, and they will go beyond your expectations. I don't know how these guys do it! They are hands down the best of the best!

Next Level Ent is a must!! Nothing but awesome, amazing and excellent things to say about these guys! From the moment we found out about them through research, we knew we wanted Next Level to be a part of our special day. They worked really well with us and fixed any issues we had in a heartbeat. We had a lil sync battle at our reception and Joe was able to get us exactly what we wanted. We also asked them to just wing our entrance songs for our bridal party and they nailed every single part of it. We had so much fun dancing and listening to their intros while we were waiting our turn to enter our reception. It was everything we could have asked for. ITS SHOWTIME!!! All I can say is that NEXT LEVEL ENTERTAINMENT is the BOMB! From the first time we called to meet with them till our wedding reception ended it was a funny, hilarious fun filled time. Every meeting, email, phone call and text message was worth the time and effort. I think that every bride and groom wants their guests to be amazed and awed and say that they had the best time and would remember this night forever and Joe Cortez and Jason Salmo definitely brought it to a whole other level. It has been a week and my guests are still telling me that our wedding was awesome. I can honestly say that I didn't have to worry about a thing because they made sure that the program ran smooth and on time. As for me I forgot to do a couple of things (my homework from them) but Joe and Jason just rolled right on through and made it work. They also made sure that Marlon and I was enjoying the night as well and not many vendors will do something like that. BUT my biggest surprise of the night was when Marlon and I was dancing our first dance and they gifted us with "dancing in the clouds". I will never forget their generosity and professionalism and making our first night as husband and wife a dream come true and making our HAPPY EVER AFTER a reality! Thank you!

We learned about Next Level Entertainment by going to other weddings and seeing how awesome the receptions turned out. We actually had a few wedding dates in mind and then called Joe to see if we could book him. The first date that he had available we did not even hesitate. We hired him on the spot and knew we made the right decision. Throughout the whole process Joe has been more than attentive, creative and innovative with us. When we came to him with our ideas he didn't think they were silly he complimented them with creative suggestions and made sure they were taken to the next level. We could tell our wedding guests truly enjoyed themselves by the way he kept them rolling with laughter and anticipating what was coming next. If you have any doubts about your reception, I highly urge you too at least meet with Joe and hear what options he has. It completely took the stress out of planning our reception. We told him exactly what we wanted for our reception and we gave him the freedom to do whatever else we wanted, he came up with fun exicitng ideas and games. Lastly, he was up all hours to answer any questions we had we met with him numerous times and every time afterwards we were even more excited for what he had planned. Best purchase for the reception. Again I highly urge you to meet with Joe, and he'll make all your dreams and desires come true and he'll take it to the Next Level!

Working with Next Level Entertainment was a no-brainier for me and I actually made sure they were available for my wedding date before I even finalized it! The guys of NLE were very professional and easy to work with. From the uplighting, monogram, and personalization of our program, all aspects of our day were great and we had tons of compliments from our guests on how great of a time they had and how unique our wedding was! From the moment I contacted Joe, he was on it! Created a personal profile where we can exchange info, ideas, plans for reception, payment plans ect. Such a humble person, easy and fun to work with. He was even was able to come and setup sound at my ceremony though it was a 20-30 min drive from my reception, and that's something he said they don't usually do, but he pretty much took that stress off my shoulders and pulled it off! My wedding is in now a memory of the past but till this day people are still talking about my wedding! I can go on with more positive comments but you're just gonna have to book them and experience their excellent services yourself!

Book Joe and his associate with this vendor without question. He came recommended by a friend of a friend. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He anticipated our needs and asked appropriate questions in order to make the night absolutely perfect. Our event would simply not have been as much fun as it was if it hadn't been for Joe and his associate. They took our requests and further tailored the night's music based on that and on their skillful reading of the crowd. Additionally they were very respectful of our no play list (despite particular requests by some of our insistent guests). Recommended 100%!!

Joe and Jay was awesome! I wanted a "fun" wedding and that's exactly what I got. They were amazing with everything from the planning all the way till that night. I must say they are worth every penny. If your planning on getting married please look into next level entertainment and get the package deal. I promise you won't regret it.

Joe was absolutely a pleasure to work with. My Husband and I enjoyed every moment that we spent with Joe Cortez planning our wedding. I felt so comfortable with Joe that a couple of area's where I couldn't think of what songs I wanted to play ( cutting of the cake, my father daughter dance) Joe had my back all the way. He was able to get to know me and my husband within 2 sit down meetings and knew exactly what to play.

Next level entertainment went above and beyond, from the beginning to the end they where with us every step of the way!
They really got to know us (the whole family as well)and are story. They were there to answer all my questions by emails,calls or text and we always looked forward
To are meetings with them as well. These guys are amazing the venue was beautiful our guest were entertained all night.NEL had everyone cheering to crying in happiness to buss laughing, hit us with a few surprises as well! They really made are night a memorable one!! We highly recommend them to everyone!

Next Level Entertainment Maui definitely took our wedding to the NEXT LEVEL.

We found Next Level through a referral from our wedding coordinator and it was definitely a great idea to book them as a vendor. We received so many compliments on the wedding entertainment, music, flow, and program - and credit is definitely due to Joe and Jay for making this happen!

During the planning process Joe was very flexible and very easy to work with! From our first meeting we got the creative juices running and came up with all these personalized touches that made our wedding truly ours. There was definitely a lot going on just in terms of the entertainment and program, but Joe and Jay made it happen - and it was fabulous! They also worked closely with my husband on a surprise routine by him and the groomsmen, and also a mother/son dance mash-up. They also worked with me on adding a personalized touch to my father/daughter and grandfather/granddaughter dance.

Next Level Entertainment Maui truly cares about giving couples the best wedding experience possible by catering to the couple and making it all about the couple. They are quick to respond and truly know music and entertainment!

I highly recommend Next Level Entertainment Maui for your dj, emcee, uplighting, and monogram needs! You will not be disappointed!

Next Level Entertainment truly made our wedding memorable! We can't begin to explain how awesome and entertaining our wedding reception was. If you are looking for a DJ/Entertainment for your wedding/party/anything, I assure you these guys are the BEST!! Their services were outstanding; very professional, very detailed and quick to respond. I felt as if Next Level Entertainment truly wanted my husband and I to have the most incredible night of our lives (as we did). To put it into perspective, aside from congratulating us on our marriage, our guests kept complimenting us on our DJ. George and I both highly (I mean highly) recommend Next Level Entertainment to anyone looking for DJ/Entertainment services.

If you are getting married in Hawaii there is NO ONE else you would want to DJ/EMCEE your wedding than Next Level Entertainment. These guys are awesome, there work is amazing and professional. My husband and I have been to a lot of weddings, and knew we wanted to inject a lot of fun and personality into our own local reception of over 300 guests at the Hyatt grand ballroom. We couldn't have done that without Next Level Entertainment. They MADE our wedding reception truly unique for a number of reasons!

-Jason was our emcee and he got everyone pumped up and laughing from the start of our reception. Instead of a typical roll call wedding party entry, each couple had a custom song and bio to recognize them. It was a great way to feature each person from our wedding party. Jason also told a "love story" of how my husband and I met, fell in love and got engaged.

-The ballroom at the Hyatt looked AMAZING! Next Level Entertainment did the uplighting, including a huge custom monogram. During our first dance, we chose to have the "dancing on clouds" feature which made for some pretty awesome photos and video.

-Joe met with us several times throughout the wedding planning process to ensure there was never a lull through the whole night. He made great suggestions with the timeline for the night, and even coordinated efforts with our other vendors and the hotel wedding planner.

-Everyone loved the music played during the dancing! We thought people would leave by 10 PM, but they ended up dancing past midnight! It was also great that they tailored the music to the crowd on the dance floor :)

The entire crew from NLE worked so hard and were the first to set up in the afternoon and last to leave at 2 AM. We are so incredibly grateful for everything they did, and 100% recommend them to anyone looking to have a very personalized and professional DJ/emcee service.

Next Level Entertainment was the life of my reception. They constantly kept the crowd entertained and knew how to make it enjoyable/memorable for us. A memory that will stay forever in our hearts was how they made a pre-recorded message for our very first dance together! It was so touching and made our dance perfect! Also the MC did such an awesome job; everyone kept laughing and told me as they were leaving that my entertainment was priceless. Next Level Entertainment most definitely takes it to the next level. My husband and i got married on May 31, 2014. They were our dj/entertainment for the night. I felt like our wedding was fun for everyone. They made it a very memorable moment for us and our family and friends that were there. So easy to work with. We knew from the beginning of our engagement that Next Level was going to be a part of our special day. We had changed our wedding date just so that they were available to work with us lol!...And it was totally worth the wait!!!

We had a great time planning and personalizing our program! One of the most memorable moment was when Next Level teamed up with CkCinema to surprise us with a wedding video message that was shown at the reception from my brother from Vegas and my grandpa, because they couldn't attend the wedding. I had visited my grandpa in Hale Makua just 3 days before our wedding. I knew he wasn't able to attend, so I had seen him one last time before I became a Mrs. Joe had seen a picture i posted on facebook and immediately orchestrated this surprise. My grandpa had left a very touching message that brought tears to my eyes. I couldn't believe they went out of their way to do such a wonderful thing for us. We were overjoyed and overwhelmed with love and happiness!!

Thank you to our Next Level friends for making our special day so memorable, fun and AMAZING!! You've accomplished everything we wanted to have done. We, as well as our guests, enjoyed every bit of it!! Thank you Joe for working with us from the beginning and djing our awesome event! Jay, you are the best emcee!! Y'all are the bomb.com!!! Oh my GOODNESS! Where do I even begin?! Joe Cortez, JayJ (MC), and the entire NLE team far exceeded my expectations! When we first met, I was so stressed since I was planning a 400-600 person wedding party on my own, but once I did my first actual sit down meeting, I was no longer worried and turned excited.

Joe is always finding ways to go above and beyond to exceed your expectations just to make sure your day is the most amazing day as possible. From our grand entrance/introductions to the last dance, we were blown away. I have to add, YOU MUST do the dancing in clouds effect. Our guest could not stop raving about it and looks amazing in photos too. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!!

Our guests were also struck by the music they played through the night. I wanted old songs that my husband and I grew up with and I just named a few bands and they hit it on the stop and beyond! My guest and wedding party kept telling me how a particular song stuck a memory, brought them back to when we were younger, reminded them of my husband and I growing up together, or it was just their jam. AMAZING and exactly what I wanted!

My husband is extremely shy and they even managed to pull him out of his shell and made it extra special for me and for his mother for their mother son dance. He also made my grandfather/daughter dance extra extra special. He was so happy about the things Joe said and the suprise song I picked as well.

They both made sure the entire night went smoothly and know when to change up the program if needed with out you having to worry. If you want a stress free and fun night, don't even think twice because these guys will make your dream and vision a reality.

I could go on and on and on about how amazing they are! My husband and I cannot pick a favorite part because it was ALL amazing! We will absolutely recommend and use their services in the future! They've practically become family.

I cannot thank you all enough!

My husband knows me well as a last minute person but want this and that, this made him stress on planning our wedding. We didn't have any program, no wedding coordinator or we don't know how are we going to entertain our guests. Then we met Joe, our Fairy event planner I must say. From the moment we met him, my husband was blown away how professional he is and how he made everything sounds so easy, fun, and so promising. That moment, my husband says to me, "I want them!". Joe assures us not to worry about anything, but to just leave everything to them. That Promise was given to us on our special day. We are BLOWN AWAY!!!! From ceremony to reception. Joe and Jay J, YOU guys rock!!! Our guest was awed how the wedding went. They said overall was AWESOME & BREATH TAKING!! The program was well put together and very UNIQUE. It was well personalize and they said our emcees was great and their voice was DAMN very aahhhh!!! so LOVELY. You guys gave us what we wanted and that you added more to it. It was very lovely and it was really us. NO ONE can TOP you guys. Sorry to say but , you guys are the BOMB!!! You made everything more than perfect and stress free for us. You guys gave my husband his "WOW" factor. Like I said he was the "bride". Our guest are still talking about the wedding and we owe it from you guys. If we ever have to do it again, we make sure that it will be with you guys again. We can say "Thank you! Thank You! Thank you! and it's more than that". Thank you ain't enough. Joe & Jay J of next level entertainment were so amazing! we couldn't have picked a more perfect DJ and MC for our wedding day! From our very first meeting to the last second of the evening we couldn't be more pleased! Joe made it a point to check in from time to time and make sure that everything was taken cared of. We wrote bios for our wedding party grand entrance and they took it to the "next level"!! our guests really enjoyed it! We also hired them for lighting and PA system, and everything ran smoothly. It rained from the night before and continued on til 12pm the next day, but Joe texted me and assured me that they will work it out as far as tents, etc. We decided at the very last minute to do a surprise dance during our first dance, and Joe was able to create a mix that was perfect for our dance. When it was time for dancing at the end of the reception, they had every single person on the dance floor! if you are considering them for your next event there is no doubt that they will bring your event to the next level! we still are getting great feedback on our reception and a huge part of it was because of Next Level! thank you Joe & Jay J!!

Joe and the Next Level crew made our wedding the wedding of our dreams. We hired them for ceremony sound, reception and emcee services. Right when we emailed them to inquire about services they were prompt and willing to go above and beyond what we even thought the event would be. They brought up good recommendations to have during the reception and gave us the one-on-one service that we valued. They also listened to the special touches that we wanted to have - fusing our two cultures together. Who knew a New Orleans tradition could be such a hit in Maui?! For the all-night affair, and the quality of the entertainment, we got more than our monies worth.

They kept the pace of the wedding and kept to timelines. We were 45 minutes late coming back from first look pictures, but they did not fail. They were able to keep to their timelines and fit everything in. Guests were amazed that the event did not feel rushed at all, and the flow of events was very smooth. They really knew how to keep the party going!

Till this day and many more to come, we still have guests raving about how much fun they had, and that our wedding was the best wedding that they've attended! We definitely recommend Next Level Entertainment for any special event! Absolutely the best in Hawai'i!!!

Joe and the Next Level Entertainment staff were AMAZING!!! They totally set the tone for our wedding reception. Their up-lighting, DJ and MC services were above the rest! Little touches, such as the Monogram design, games, and dancing in the clouds, enhanced the evening. NLE was on time, professional, and come HIGHLY recommended. We had a wide variety of guest and they were able to entertain EVERYONE! Our friends and family had such a great time and they raved about the entertainment. Like every bride, I had that vision of how I wanted my special day to be... some may have called this vision "over the top" & others may have called it "impossible", but Joe & his crew at Next Level Entertainment said, "I LOVE it, let's do it." Next Level Entertainment took my once impossible ideas & made them into a reality. I couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect wedding reception, and trust me honey, I dream BIG.

Joe Cortez is such an awesome guy to work with. He is PROFESSIONAL, DETAIL ORIENTED, and CREATIVE. The 3 things I looked for in a wedding vendor. He returned emails, phone calls, and text messages promptly. I swear a must have emailed & texted him a million times & he still never got tired of me. LOL. Joe is so flexible w/ scheduling meetings & he definitely worked around my busy schedule just so we could plan to incorporate all the details that made our wedding reception so personable. Within the 12 months of wedding planning, my wedding reception was one thing I never stressed about because I knew Next Level Entertainment got my back.

They turned the ballroom into a purple fantasy w/ their uplighting & my husband & I danced on Cloud 9 to a personalized first dance that brought the entire room to tears. There were non-stop laughter, cheering and tears of joy from the beginning to the very end. All my friends & family dubbed my wedding as the "BEST WEDDING" they've ever been to, and I owe that recognition to Joe & Next Level Entertainment.

As an transplanted Mauian living in the BK, I knew planning a Maui Wedding was a MUST! Thank God for Great Planners and Next Level Entertainment!
Working with Next Level Entertainment was the best choice we could have ever made for our wedding! Talk about fun, lively and entertaining! Half my guests were all mainlanders and could never have experienced the Local-Style Extravaganza these guys put on! Joe was so flexible and was genuinely interested in putting on a show that the guests will not readily forget! He was so personable and had so many ideas! He basically came up with a Tahitian Dance Contest before our eyes and we went right on board. He's like the event whisperer and you trust him right away to make your wedding entertaining for ALL, and they did it UP! Jason cracked me up and I love that he put my groom on the spot with a surprise game show!
Definitely a professional team! I definitely would recommend them to family/friends! I'd even recommend them for NYC/BK parties!

"FUN!!!" Was my answer and FUN our wedding reception was!

Joe and Jay of Next Level Entertainment are all about making your celebration all about YOU!!

I was very busy with school while planning our wedding. Joe was always available through emails, phone calls and willing to work around our schedules so we would be able to meet in person. Joe and Jay exhibit so much excitement and passion in assisting you in planning your event.

On the day of the wedding/reception, everything ran smoothly, the music was awesome and it kept the energy of the entire reception up from start to finish.

As a last minute addition, I really wanted to have a special dance with my mom. Dad gets to dance with the bride, mom gets to dance with the groom, and somehow the one who helps you pick your dress, and put up with brideszilla-ness gets left out. I told Joe I wanted to surprise my mom following the dance withy dad. She was shocked and and it was one of the many memorable moments!

Thank you Joe and Next Level Entertainment for helping us in making our wedding reception an amazing and memorable occasion!

Joe did an AWESOME job on being creative and different for our wedding, which is what we wanted..He was very attentive and personal when it came to our backgrounds of how my husband and I met to our current day, to better entertain our guests. As soon as we shared our vision with Joe, we knew that Next Level Weddings would the perfect people for helping to make our dream vision a reality.

As a bride, my vision for our wedding was a little crazy. My expectations were very over the top and very demanding. Next Level Weddings worked with me every step of the way. I had numerous meetings with Joe to plan, sort out details, formulate mixes, brainstorm new ideas, etc. From organizing our outrageous uplighting, monograms, and pinspotting to finding an emcee that suited our style to assisting with our hyped up grand entrance to creating touching father-daughter and mother-son dances to having an awesome mix and balance of Old School and current music that our guests danced to. He worked with me patiently and was always on board for new ideas that I wanted to try. He made sure that our wedding was personal and one of a kind.

Joe and the Next Level Weddings team are the perfect vendor to work with. Any email, phone call, or text message that I sent, was met in a timely manner and with much enthusiasm. Joe really kept the lines of communication open throughout our whole wedding planning. All the way up until the day of our wedding, Joe was in constant contact and following up to see if there was anything that I needed or if there was something else that he needed to do.

It’s that personal touch that makes Joe and the Next Level Weddings crew a step above the rest.

Thank you Joel for making our wedding reception even better than I dreamed of! Your ability to set the tempo and keep the party going for a group of 600+ was absolutely amazing. The lighting design was breathtaking and the custom monogram you created was stunning! The voice over you added to my Father/Daughter dance brought tears of joy & love to our eyes.

After our initial meeting I was confident there was no other company that would be able to honor all of my very specific requests. From your assistance with our pre-wedding celebration to the bridal party's surprise dance, everything was absolutely perfect.

Next Level Entertainment (NLE) delivers!!! Joe, Jason, and the team are exceptional people who were able to help us plan and execute a memorable wedding reception. From the awesome monogram, mood-setting playlist, engaging games, MC expertise, beautiful up-lighting, personalized first dance, the grand grand-entrance, and unforgettable dancing with the clouds, NLE DELIVERS!!!

Joe was strategic in taking the time to really learn about our relationship and personalities. We were surprised at the details he captured and included at the reception to make it a pleasantly personal night - like using bits of our story when introducing family members or personalizing one of our slow dances to Disney theme music knowing our Disney driven Honeymoon plans. Joe was very committed to the planning process. He consistently scheduled meetings, followed up with outstanding items, and reported any updates in a timely manner. As we are currently living on Oahu, Joe even took the time to carve out a few hours to meet with us during a personal trip!

Jason did an outstanding job running the program with Joe. He was able to control the mood of our guests by bringing sincerity and humor, making it an unforgettable and fun night. Jason was highly flexible with the program, adjusting for time as needed yet ensuring a smooth flow.

NLE is very good at what they do. They DO NOT settle for the status quo and live up to their name of really elevating their events to the Next Level. We are extremely happy with their service and would not recommend anyone else. If you want a personal, memorable, and stress-free wedding day, you need Next Level Entertainment.

Happily ever after part II, 20 years later ...THANK YOU! Joe and the crew from NLE for making OUR day go as smooth as possible, ever so perfectly each detail we discussed felt magical. Joe guided me every step of the way with ideas and suggestions, as I had so many things incorporated into my renewal. From first dance, to parents dance, friendship, slide shows, and can't forget our "SHOTS" Everyone had a blast with the newlywed game and music was awesome.

I would recommend NLE ! You will not be disappointed! Felt like FAMILY, very professional, caring, and he always made me remember it was MY DAY so enjoy each moment.

planning our wedding was the most fun and stressful time of our life, we had so many ideas how we wanted our reception to look like from the entrace to the decor of the ballroom and the lighting from the theme to everything was to much for us to handle. Until we meet Jo from next level wedding, he was so easy to talk to and work with he was there from the begging to the day of the wedding. He took our ideas and theme to the next level and we see now why they are called the Next Level because he took our ideas and plan into the most amazing and beautiful wedding reception that we could ever imagine. Coming from a Born Again Christian Religion Next Level wedding was so fully understandable on how we wanted our recption to look and me and my husband were so Bless to have Jo and the Next Level Wedding TEAM to be a part of our special day. We got married on June 8, 2102 and its been 4 months and until now our guest from the wedding are still amazed and still talking about our wedding. My husband and I booked Next Level Entertainment for our wedding on August 25th and it was one of the best decisions we made. On top of throwing one rocking party they also kept everyone entertained and dancing all night long! So many of our wedding guests came up to us and said that it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding! In addition to throwing a rocking party, they were also very professional, flexible, creative and fun! They were very organized and helpful with the planning process and also added so many unique touches to our special day. One of the main highlights for all of our guests and my husband and I was how they personalized our first dance as well as our mother/son and father/daughter dance. Every single one of our guests were blown away and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house. Working with Joe and Jason was so easy, worry-free and memorable. Thank you next level entertainment for helping to make our dream wedding a reality, you guys really are the BEST!

What a pleasure with working with NLE! They are very easy going guys and very easy to communicate with. We had a great time meeting with them prior to our wedding and they helped us with great suggestions on how to make our wedding more special. Our greatest compliment of our wedding was how NLE created a smoke/cloud effect while we had our first dance. Thank you sooo much for everything!! :-)
