Fantastic Wedding Transportation Company
I would highly recommend Newport Limo. We used their 30 and 40 person shuttles for our daughter's wedding in Newport. They were right on time, vey professional to work with, the luxury shuttles were of the highest quality, and they covered every detail of the night flawlessly! Rick was a pleasure to work with and always followed up. -

I got married last month at the Glen Manor House in Portsmouth, RI and used Newport Limo Company for our limos and bus to transport gusts from Crowne Plaza in Warwick. Judi and Dianne were a joy to work with! They helped us along in the planning process, and were so organized, professional and a joy to work with. The limos were a lot of fun for my girls and the complimentary champagne was a fun treat! We also requested a DVD to be played on the bus for our guests and everyone enjoyed the ride very much. Thank you again for making our day so easy and effortless! -

Newport Limousine Service was very professional, on-time, and was very flexible when plans changed slightly. Our shuttle driver, Peter, was very courteous and kind. He even stopped at the gas station on the way back to the hotel so some of my guests could stop in real quick to buy a couple of things they needed for the after-party. My daughter's Newport wedding was only a week away when I spoke to Judi at Newport Limousine Services. Obviously I was quite late in inquiring about the limousine, and I was resigned to the fact that I probably wouldn't be able to pull this off. I was wrong! Judi was amazing in her determination to get me a limousine. She was able to split the time between the afternoon and the evening so we could utilize the limo for the wedding party and for my elderly parents who needed to be driven home. When we realized that the beautiful white limousine did not have a front seat, Judi was able to arrange a different vehicle to get my parents home. At the end of the evening, the beautiful white limo was waiting at Ochre Court to take the wedding party back to the hotel. Jade, the limo driver, could not have been nicer. She was professional and extremely kind to my elderly parents who were somewhat nervous about going home with a stranger. I was truly impressed by her compassion, her friendliness, and her professional demeanor. I would recommend this service to anyone. I worked with Judi who could not be nicer and so very helpful. She made this process very easy for me. I made these arrangements from NJ for my son who was getting married in Newport. She kept me posted and constantly received help and answered any questions or concerns I had. She helped me with the time table of pickup and drop-offs. My driver, Leo was EXCELLENT!!!! The 44 seater bus was perfect. So clean and had AC and fit all my guests. Could not have asked for a more experienced, professional and nice driver. He drove on those narrow streets in Newport with ease. My family and friends loved it and were so grateful to have this courtesy. They really liked that Leo took us all to the church and then the venue and got us all home safely!!! Thanks so much. I would highly recommend them for any event you may have. I recently got married in Newport and rented transportation through Newport Limo. I can't say enough good things about Judi. She was friendly, flexible, and patient with me throughout the entire process. My wife and I ended up changing our transportation plans a few times before finally booking, and Judi was very accommodating and quick to reply with updated itineraries, contracts, etc. They have a wide variety of vehicles to choose from, so we found exactly what we needed for our guests. The drivers were also friendly, professional, and made the entire experience smooth and comfortable for us. We hired Newport Limo to provide transportation for our wedding party & guests and were very happy and would recommend their services. Judi is very professional, understanding and kind. Leading up to our wedding day, Judi always made herself available, however, during peak wedding season it was sometimes difficult to catch her by phone. This made my nervous at first, but she always returned my call or e-mail and everything day of worked out perfectly.
All of our guests raved about how nice & professional drivers were, and most importantly, they got everyone where they needed to be safely & on-time. I would recommend using Newport Limo, and found them to be way more professional than a lot of other options. The only thing to consider, is until the drivers are selected (usually about a week before the event), you have to wait to really lock down details in the plans. -

Newport Limo Service provided both motorcoach and van service for our daughter's wedding. Because of the varied location of guests and the complication of navigating narrow streets, our needs were complex. Yet the transportation went off without a hitch! The vehicles were spotless, the drivers courteous, knowledgeable and personable and the schedule implemented flawlessly. It could not have been better. -

We hired 2 Coach buses from Newport Limousine to transport guests to and from the ceremony and reception. The buses were in impeccable condition and the drivers were very prompt and friendly! One of the compliments that we received most after the wedding was in regards to how well organized the buses were! Although I sent a very detailed itinerary, the drivers did an amazing job sticking to the schedule and making sure everything went off without a hitch! Judith was a pleasure to work with and responded to emails very quickly. I gave professionalism a slight deduction because after dropping off the guests the drivers were nowhere to be found and we needed the buses moved to make room for the bridal party bus. A very minor mistake. They do a fantastic job and their prices can't be beat...trust me I checked everywhere. Amazing value and wonderful company! -

Professional from Start to Finish
We had a great experience with Newport Limo on our wedding day. Our numbers had shifted a bit from our projected numbers but Dianne helped us adjust our choices and made everything work. On our wedding day, one of our coach buses had issues and by the time word got to me Dianne and my planner had sorted it all out, had created a plan B and put it into action and I could not have been happier and less stressed. The drivers were all friendly, clean and very coordinated. My groom and I arrived in separate coaches but within moments of one another and the drivers had it fully under control making sure we never saw one another and that he was tucked away in his room to get ready before they even pulled up to let me out, it was seamless, stress free and we could not be happier. -

Wedding transportation was probably one of the tasks I was dreading the most. However, everything went very simply and smoothly with Newport Limousine. I corresponded with Judy at Newport Limousine and the whole transaction was very straightforward without any hiccups. I heard there were very demanding transportation companies out there that needed specific numbers - but I knew I wasn't able to give specific numbers because our guests didn't get back to us on whether on not they wanted to use the shuttles. Wedding planning is a logistical nightmare and it was so nice to have Newport Limousine be so flexible even with last minute timing changes. Although I did not use the shuttles, I heard that the driver, Dan, was very accommodating, kind, and on time. The transportation timetable went according to plan! No one was left out, no one was late to the wedding! I'm very very happy and 100% recommend! -

Easy to work with, prompt communication, and professional. Michael was friendly and flexible. On the night of the wedding, we were going to make an unexpected stop for one of our guests and he didn’t hesitate to help us out. We ended up finding a separate ride for our guest/family, but that just showed us the quality of service you get from Newport Limousine. Disorganized and did not tell us they were subcontracting the buses!
We booked 2 school buses through Newport Limo for wedding day guest transportation. Newport Limo got our guests from to/from the blocked hotels to our wedding venue safely and on time, which is obviously the most important element. However, we did not discover until the week before our wedding that the bus service was actually subcontracted through Fisher Charter Service (based in Somerset, MA), and that Newport Limo was not actually providing the bus service directly. (We’d give Fisher 5 out of 5 based on our experience with them.)
The majority of our interactions with Newport Limo left much to be desired. Despite confirming that they’d provided services to our wedding venue previously, the Officers’ Club at Naval Station Newport, their staff seemed perplexed when we asked them for the required driver list a couple weeks in advance of our wedding. We kept getting contradictory information from different members on staff, did not get the information we needed from them in a timely manner, and had to even contact them directly so that they could take our final payment before the contracted deadline! My stomach was in knots leading up to the wedding for fear that our guests would not be admitted through the gate or arrive late. The only reason they are not receiving a lower rating is because they did, via Fisher, provide us with the agreed upon deliverables (a safe ride for our guests and on-time arrivals/departures at the hotels and venue). However, I would recommend booking guest transportation directly through Fisher Bus and not through Newport Limo, as their staff is disorganized, uncommunicative, and, at times, rude. While they may “do this all the time” (of which we were repeatedly reminded), their lack of professionalism did not inspire confidence during our interactions with them and put a bit of a dent in our special day. -

My husband and I booked a 1957 Bentley and a 14 passenger limo for our special day. There were no issue with the Limo. We booked the Bentley because it was sentimental to my mother because she was born in 1957. We booked the limo and paid in full 1 year before our wedding. The day before our wedding the driver of the Bentley called us needing to cancel. He told us he was at CVS and someone stole his windshield wipers and since it was a vintage car it's not like he could go to Autozone and get new ones. He didn't want to drive it without wipers.
The driver did not call the appropriate contact being the bride and my family. He instead called the groom, in which they worked out to use a 1938 Packard. The driver was nice enough to still supply us with a vintage car, which took beautiful pictures. We were very disappointed that what we reserved a year prior was not available. We did not even get a discount or call from the company only the driver.
It was a little unprofessional and disrespectful.
Regardless of the service, the vintage car was beautiful even if we compromised.Newport Limousine Service's reply:
Hello, no one called our office to report that the vehicle was exchanged for another antique vehicle.
Tthe driver of the vehicle is also the owner of the antiques. I am sure he was doing the best he could in supplying another antique vehicle. A mechanical problem can happen to any vehicle, particularly an antique vehicle. Had it been reported, we would have apologized for your inconvenience and disappointment.

I reserved a 41 passenger bus, a white trolley, and a white limo. The white trolley had no issues. The drivers of all vehicles were lovely. They were quick and responsive in the planning process.
The 41 passenger bus's air conditioning was broken (as the driver stated) to the passengers. As it was the hottest day of the year -- ridiculously hot!- I was not expecting for it to be COLD on the bus, but we did have pregnant and elderly passengers on that bus who felt sick after. People were soaked through their shirts upon arrival. It also left several minutes early from the reception, and people missed the first run back to the hotel.
Additionally, while we were in Church, our white limo broke down. They quickly sent a replacement, but the ceremony was in Providence and the limo was coming from Newport, so we were delayed a little bit going to the reception. Here is the response from the company:
"I appreciate your taking the time to express your concerns about the heat and the vehicles. I am really sorry that you had that that experience with the limo and the bus. Unfortunately, we seem to have similar complaints every year during extreme heat waves. Glad we don’t have that many heat waves in New England. We look at it as something we cannot control, such as an act of God. I think both vehicles would have been fine had it not been so hot. It seems that larger vehicles are susceptible to all kinds of problems during such heat waves. There really isn’t much I can do about it at this point, except to say I am sorry it happened on your wedding day."
I was disappointed in this company - especially because someone else I know got married the same day in a local venue and had no issues with their transportation. -

My husband and I recently worked with Newport Limousine Service for our wedding day transportation. We booked a trolley to transport the wedding party and guests to the venue and also booked a mini coach bus to transport the wedding party and guests back to their hotels at the end of the evening. I wish I could say that the day went smoothly but, it didn't. The trolley broke down on my way to the venue. The driver wasn't helpful at all. I called my day-of planner and she picked me up in her minivan - arriving to my wedding in a minivan wasn't ideal. It didn't end there - the driver was rude to our guests and had no idea where he was going (guests had to direct him). I was so embarrassed when our guests told me of their experience - it was a nightmare. Overall, we were very displeased with our experience. Yes, Lauren is correct about trolley breakdown on her wedding day.
We always feel just terrible when something like that happens, but some things are beyond our control. We do our best to help compensate and make-up for the loss as much as possible. We were also working hard that day in the background to arrange back up vehicles to salvage the rest of the day.
But, sometimes negative reviews don’t tell the whole story, and I am frankly surprised that she wrote this after all we tried to do to help her out.
We believe her wedding planner arranged for another trolley, a green city trolley, to help out at the last minute. We think this may have been the “rude driver who didn’t know where he was going.” The wedding planner was not as professional as we are used to, and we tried to contact her get the entire story, but she did not return our call or text message, so this was not verified. Lauren did say all her guests told her that they rode on a green trolley, not white.
The other important part of the story is that we not only gave all the money back she requested, but we also arranged for an complimentary extra hour in the mini-bus for her 30 some guests that were not even supposed to be picked up. This was another problem in the wedding planning for the day, which we had nothing to do with.
If we had not agreed to give her the complimentary free hour, there would have been 30 guests stranded after the reception waiting for a bus that was never arranged for them, so the day would have ended in a worse nightmare.
So, bottom line, is that we are very sorry about the trolley breakdown, it can happen with any vehicle. We not only gave her all the money back she requested, but went an extra mile in providing the complimentary time in the mini bus for her guests, plus taking 30 more guests to their hotels than we expected.

Left almost an hour early and refused to return
Easily the worst vendor I worked with on my wedding day (and possibly the least professional company I’ve worked with in general). We hired a vintage rolls Royce from 3-6pm. When the driver, Joe, arrived he made us walk to him, rather than pick us up (I was wearing heels), did not open the door, asked for cash payment as soon as we sat down in the car and refused to leave without it, and was generally unfriendly the entire ride. Aside from his gruff attitude, the worst part was that he left 45 minutes early and refused to return! We were taking photos in front of our venue with the car. When we were done with photos with the car, the photographer told the driver “okay, we’re done,” meaning he could move the car out of the shot. He interpreted this (either intentionally or unintentionally) to mean that he could leave the venue altogether. Joe did not check with us, the people paying him. As we watched him pull out of the long driveway, we called him, but he said he could not return because “the car had been released.” Our wedding coordinator attempted to call back many times, but they stopped answering our calls. After our wedding, we contacted the company to try to resolve the issue. We felt that the contract was not fulfilled since we paid for 3 hours, but the car left 45 minutes early. We were told that it was the photographer’s fault for not being clear with the driver, and that it was our fault for not specifying in the contract exactly what we wanted the driver to do after photos. There was absolutely NO accountability taken. We asked for a partial refund for the time not used, which they initially seemed to consider, but then kept telling us to contact them later. Your the only bad review since I have run the company, I find it strange Limousines of newport and PVD who stole from my mother while hospitalized was doing the other half of this job. I offered a partial refund at the start of the month and you were demanding a immediate venmo payment to your acct and i told you we didnt use venmo to pay for this job, my driver stated he left after being instructed to leave. He also stated that you refused to pay him at arrival which was the agreement. I also find it very odd that you and your husband left slanderous reviews on Google and his was almost one year after the fact. We do the best we can on every Job and if it was our Fault my apologies. -

Let me makes this clear we did not actually book with this company we did however look into booking with them and found a better deal some where else. To my surprise she wrote me an e-mail saying "You and your mother seem like very sneaky people" because we didn't book with them. I don't think thats how you run a business now is it?Newport Limousine Service's reply:
That isn't exactly the whole story at all. We exchanged several emails with this bride and her mother in helping them select the right vehicle. We even went to the trouble to arrange an appointment for them to see the vehicle after several attempts and times changes due to her work schedule. They were supposed to get back to us but did not, but instead booked that very vehicle through another salesperson without even asking if we could match the price. So, a lot of work went in to helping them plan the right vehicle and timing, but they didn't have the courtesy of even letting us know they were working around us. -
