Beauty and Deliciousness all in One Bite!

We searched high and low for the perfect bakery for what we wanted. We wanted not only beauty but also tasted fabulous and we found that at New York Cupcake! They use natural ingredients which was important to us to not have shortening frosting and artificial favors. Lisa was wonderful to work with and delivered to us our perfect cupcakes and wedding cake exactly what we wanted. Thank you New York Cupcake!

Seriously the BEST CUPCAKES. My dad at four between the wedding day and following morning. We ordered extra and literally ate one every day for a week and a half post wedding and they were still so good. The frosting is not too sugary and not too buttery and they have a wide variety of flavors. They also did a gluten free cupcake for my MOH and guests. Cannot rave enough about how good they are!

When deciding between cake and cupcakes for our wedding, my fiance and I knew that we wanted to do something special and decided on cupcakes. We chose different flavors of cupcakes and created an amazing assortment that tasted like heaven and looked just as beautiful as something right out of a magazine. Absolutely recommend these cupcakes, they are very special.

If you are looking for amazing cupcakes look no farther! We tasted so many cupcakes and cakes and the cupcakes at New York Cupcakes were by far the best! The cupcakes were moist, flavorful and very visually appealing. When we went in for our tasting we got to choose what we were interested in and everything was amazing! They suggested we try the Big Apple their Sept flavor special,so we couldn't taste it but it sounded great so we trusted them and the reviews from the wedding were amazing! Everyone kept talking about how great the cupcakes were especially the Big Apple! We also did our cutting cake through them and it turned out perfect! Lisa was so helpful with helping my vison come to life.

Yum! I actually knew 3 years ago at a store anniversary party that I wanted New York Cupcakes to cater my wedding, although I wasn't even close to being engaged. What gave it away? Maybe because I ate every flavor they had out, about 10 different flavors. Everyone was so easy to work with and going to the shop for tastings was a treat in itself. These truly are the most creative flavors and the most moist cupcakes you will find everywhere. I got so many compliments!! I went for the cupcake minis just so I could order more flavors!! I would highly recommend New York Cupcakes to everyone.

My cupcakes were fantastic.. the flavors were interesting and my guests loved the options. They were on time, they assembled the cupcakes onto the tiering for me and left all the extra boxes so the few that were not eaten were easy for guests to grab on their way home!

The mini-cupcakes from New York Cupcakes were absolutely delicious. We did four different flavors, which allowed our guests to try a little of everything! They not only tasted great, but they looked beautiful too. Plus, they were able to match the frosting colors to two of the colors in my wedding. This is a great choice and fun alternative to a traditional wedding cake!

These are the most amazing cupcakes we have ever tasted! The shop is small (I believe they are opening up a second) and it is a small locally owned business. Communication is by phone or in person only, but they were very quick to return phone calls and arrange appointments. The quality of the cupcakes both in taste and presentation was outstanding. Our guests raved about how wonderful these cupcakes tasted for weeks! The overall value was better than an actual cake. Rental of stand was reasonable. Delivery and set up was much cheaper than other cupcake vendors in the area. Overall, very very satisfied with our experience with New York Cupcakes and will definitely use them again in the future for other events.

Amazing! Taste and from the time we entered the store to order for our wedding. They arrived and setup the cupcakes and were out fast. Was great service! We ordered the cake for our 1 year anniversary. It tasted amazing! Just put it in freeze wrap and then in a freezer bag and it was still moist and the frosting still tasted great!

Just a $50 deposit and pay the rest one week before your wedding and viola your cupcakes are ready. Different plavored frosting on 2 types of cakes. Placed on tiers to look like a cake.

Guests oohed and aahed when they entered the ballroom and saw the beautiful tiered display
of brightly colored cupcakes!
Having cupcakes was fun and a little different at my daughter's recent wedding. She opted for very
colorful cupcakes....Margaret Margarita (lime green icing), Royal Raspberry (dark pink), and Orange
Dreamsicle. These are flavors of cupcakes offered by NY Cupcakes and they are delicious!
The bakers tinted our particular cupcakes to coordinate with the wedding colors for our Orange
Dreamsicle actually looked a little more coral and the Raspberry was a little deeper pink than they
would normally make.
The service from NY Cupcakes was great with one exception. They were in the midst of an ownership
change at the time of my daughter's wedding and the delivering person did not set up the cupcakes
as promised in our contract. Hopefully, the change of owners has now completed so no further
"miscommunications" will occur.
I would not hesitate to use NY Cupcakes again for an event, however, I would probably confirm
all delivery and set up services they day before.

The cupcakes were amazing!!! We ordered extra and our guests still finished them off!! They were very detailed with my order from flavors, size, frosting and decoration. I was very excited to have 1 flavor in the regular size and 2 flavors in the mini size with a vintage looking wrapper and a flowered look to my frosting with a shimmer glitter on the top to reflect the candle light! However, the cupcakes came with the correct flavors but not all sizes were correct and the frosting style was different on all the different flavors and they forgot to put the glitter on top. I was disappointed but no one else noticed and everyone loved them!!! So knowing that not everything will be perfect, I'm glad that this was the extent to which anything went wrong. I still think they have the best tasting cupcakes and would definitely use them again, I would just double check my order!

We fell in love with New York Cupcakes after sampling several cake vendors, and theirs by far tasted the best. They offer a huge selection of fun flavors and even accommodated our celiac guests. Every interaction was great and left nothing to be desired.

New York Cupcakes has been awesome to work with. Their cupcakes are to die for yummy. I wish they had a location closer to my home so that I could visit them more often to try their delicious creations. Lisa and her team at New York Cupcakes in Bellevue have been wonderful. I can't thank them enough for all of their hard work. Our guests raved about how good the cupcakes were. We had way more cupcakes than guests and didn't have any cupcakes left to take home after the reception- they were that good! I've been to many weddings where barely any of the cake gets eaten and I wanted to make sure that didn't happen at my own wedding, New York Cupcakes was definitely the way to go! The only thing I would have to complain about is that the brochure I looked at for the prices for the cupcakes was not the same price that I was charged, I was informed that the prices are different for weddings/catering because more decorating and such goes in to making those cupcakes. Understandable and well worth the money we spent though! Thank you New York Cupcakes :)

THE MOST YUMMY CUPCAKES IN ALL OF SEATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Believe me when I say that, because I tried them all! My mom, bridesmaids and myself cupcake tested as many different shops and cupcake suppliers as possible and New York Cupcakes topped them all! The cake was very moist and soft. The icing was creamy and absolutely delicious! They have really fun flavors but are also willing to work with you to create your own look or flavor. They were soooooo good!!! A massive hit with my friends at the wedding!!!

We had a WONDERFUL experience with New York Cupcakes until the day before our wedding when they called to see if they could switch the "Set up time" and move it a few hours earlier because they over scheduled. We were very upset about this because that meant the cupcakes would be sitting out all day prior to being eaten by our guests. Finally our wedding planner got back in touch with them and told them we were not ok with the set up happening any earlier than originally agreed upon. The cupcakes turned out fabulous, the display was beautiful and our guests are STILL talking about how delicious those cupcakes were! Overall I was happy with the company but I wish they had not caused us stress about the set up time.

I was incredibly disappointed with the service. During our initial reservation we discussed that we can just put a hold on it and 30 days before the date of the wedding we had to inform them of our final decision.
When I called to reserve our cake flavors and confirm the total amount we decided on Central Park Cookies and Cream, Lolo's Bewitching Brownie, and Pink Champagne. We thought everything was settled till we get a call from the manager stating that they do not do Lolo's in mini cupcakes for catering. If that is the case why did your employee tell me it was no problem? If there are cupcakes you do not do... note that on your website (which once again can use a lot of updating). Considering how we had to literally go to the store 5 different times to test these cakes and then saying you can't do it wasted time and money. To top it off... the woman who I spoke to on the phone did not submit my order correct and had us down for 6 flavors instead of the 3 discussed.
We ended up forgoing the brownie cupcakes and switching to the Salted Caramel.
Because of the issues with my order the manager will be the one handling my wedding, delivery, and set up to avoid any other mistakes.
Wedding day arrives and guess what... more issues. I had reserved the 5 tier square tower because as discussed it is the perfect amount of room to show off the cupcakes and the shape and how full it would look would make it similar to having an actual cake. What I got was the 6 tiered circle! Does not really sound like a big deal... but the presentation was terrible. The cupcakes were so spread out that it looked like there was half the amount and people ended up not grabbing them because so many were put in the back. We had well over half of our order uneaten to take home.

The cupcakes are delicious but come here on the way home to grab a treat. Do not use their catering service.

I don't plan to frequent this business. I bought a Living Social voucher to try their wares, and in effect, it was not honored. I called the bakery 72 hours in advance to place my order (guidelines said "at least 48 hours ahead") and was told their order books were full for the day I needed the cupcakes (my twins' birthday party). I had planned to use the voucher for this occasion for months. I spoke to both the head baker, and the owner, Heather. "Then could I come in Saturday morning and pick cupcakes from the store and use the voucher that way ?" "No." "Can you honor the voucher past the expiration date (it was expiring in 10 days) so I will have another appropriate occasion to use it on?" "No." It was a horrible experience that there was no inkling from either the voucher or the website that I would have needed to prepare for.

In addition, I was told that my options were to: a) try to get what I needed by coming in first thing in the morning to buy their day-old cupcakes or b) come into the store and buy a dozen cupcakes at full price.

I was also told they had about 3,000 Living Social vouchers in play currently. Really? Do you think they may have issued a few too many? I don't think I'll be the only one left fuming about this.

Note that on Trophy Cupcakes website, it explicitly warns in the FAQ's that it is possible orders may not be able to be accommodated and to order as far ahead as possible to ensure getting what you need. Nothing like this exists on the New York Cupcakes website, and I didn't look at Trophy Cupcakes' website until afterward for comparison.
