Fantastic Ceremony Musicians

New Orleans Classical and Jazz provided the music for our ceremony and it was beautiful! Leading up to the event, Harry was so great to work with, he provided helpful suggestions and was very patient with us while we changed our music list multiple times trying to find the perfect set. The musicians that played at the ceremony (one cellist and two violinists) were extremely talented and played every song beautifully. I was so happy I got to listen to them play while we waited for the procession and they really made the ceremony perfect!

Beautiful voice!

We used Harry Hardin for our daughter's wedding ceremony and received so many compliments and inquiries about who it was. The vocalist (a woman) was AMAZING. Her voice was gorgeous. We also had a violin, trumpet and keyboard. Communication was easy and very quick. I would 100% use them again for any occasion.

Easy to book & very professional. Such a surreal experience!

Such a surreal experience having them at my wedding. I actually attended a candlelight concert previously and they were the performers, so when my husband and I noticed who they were during our reception, we were beyond excited!! They were amazing! I would book them a million times again if I could just to relive that experience!

The absolute best!!!

Wow, this was one of my favorite parts of our whole wedding! Harry and his musicians were absolutely incredible and completely brought my wedding vision for the ceremony and cocktail hour to life. Right from the start, Harry was always so responsive, very organized, and gave me all of the information I needed to know. They have a HUGE and amazing selection on songs to choose from that it made so easy for us to put together a list. I had a specific song and speed that I wanted to walk down the aisle to and they played it to perfection. At cocktail hour, they played a mix of fun, modern pop and classic rocks songs and it was so cool to hear live!! We seriously had so many of our guests coming up to us during and after to tell us how amazing the string quartet was and how much fun the songs were. Hiring Harry and his team of musicians was absolutely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. If you are on the fence about booking Harry and his team, do not be because you will definitely not regret it. Truly perfect in every way!

Incredible ensemble!

We had a trio of guitar, violin, and trumpet play at our wedding. Working with Harry to select the songs was a very easy process, he provided popular songs and Youtube links to how they sound on strings/brass. They handled the microphones and speak setup for the ceremony, arrived 30 minutes early to play as guests arrived, and played the processionals and recessionals. The ceremony music was beautiful, then the trio moved locations seamlessly and played their own selection of light jazz for the entire cocktail hour. All the guests loved the touch of live jazz for a New Orleans wedding.

Made our Wedding Ceremony Extra Special

Harry made the process for having live classical music at our wedding so painless and enjoyable. He was quick to respond and provided suggested songs to help decide what songs I wanted during the ceremony. The musicians played beautifully and made the ceremony so special. I even had a special song request that they learned just for my ceremony. It was just as I'd hoped it would be and I think made it a little unique.

Amazing Musicians!

Harry Hardin and his team were wonderful to work with. They were professional and personable and made my job as “daughter of the bride” and coordinator, easy and comfortable. They played everything my Mom and her fiancé wanted to hear. They dealt with some last minute changes easily and without fuss. Their music was fantastic and they surprised us with a little bit of singing as well. Don’t hesitate to book them!! They will help make your dreams come to fruition.

Wonderful musicians made for a magical wedding

New Orleans Classical and Jazz provided a string trio for my daughter's wedding. The entire experience was great. Harry responded to us quickly and provided a lot of information and options for music. The musicians were there on time and did an absolutely beautiful job. Having them play elevated the whole experience - and our guests noticed. So many people made a point to mention the music. Absolutely worth it and I highly recommed working with these musicians.

Absolutely amazing

Harry and the New Orleans Classical & Jazz team are incredible. My now husband is a guitar player and was excited to have some out of the box choices for our songs. Our guests loved the music. Our music choices were very much mostly him. I’m sad I didn’t get to hear more of the beautiful job they did, but what I did hear was absolutely incredible. Wonderful experience!

At the suggestion of our venue, I contacted Harry Hardin for the ceremony music for my son's wedding. We signed on for a violinist and cellist and the music was perfect for the magical setting of the venue. Harry was a joy to work with from the beginning to end, always available and helped with suggestions and ideas. A late decision for a second line was the icing on the cake for our out-of-town guests. Our Intimate Wedding

Outstanding New Orleans Musicians

I am beyond happy that we chose New Orleans Classical and Jazz for our wedding. Harry Hardin connected us with classical musicians for our ceremony and reception, as well as Kinfolk Brass Band for our second line. Harry hardin is wonderful!

The ultimate professional group. These guys KNOW what they are doing. And, I've never heard a more beautiful quartet. They played everything that we wanted (very accommodating) and they were EXTREMELY patient with us. I could not have been more pleased with Harry Hardin and his musicians. We needed additional musicians playing different instruments for the cocktail hour in between the wedding and reception. No problem....they were there playing when the first wedding guest arrived - Seamless and "over the top" wonderful. I truly can't say enough wonderful things about them. Everyone loved them!

The Best Live Music in New Orleans!

Harry was amazing! I wanted a solo violinist to play the ceremony and part of the reception. When Harry saw what music I wanted, he suggested adding an acoustic guitarist to make the music sound fuller. He was right! The music sounded fantastic and I couldn't have imagined it any other way. He was even able to get sheet music from my Husbands favorite video game to play when he walked down the isle. The musicians were one of the highlights of the night. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how lovely they were. If you are looking for live music to play at your wedding, I highly recommend Harry and his team of fantastic musicians!

I could not say enough great things about Harry Hardin. They played beautifully and really worked with me to play the songs I wanted for my ceremony. We had a special request for when my husband walked in and he got the music and played it! Then I had a friend singing as I walked down the isle and they not only agreed to play with her but emailed directly with her to coordinate the song and set up practice directly with her!!! It took so much off my plate and I was not nervous about the ceremony (at least not the music part!) It meant so much to me to have her sing during the ceremony and I am so grateful Harry Hardin worked with her to make it happen!!! I could not recommend them enough. They will do everything possible to make sure the day is perfect.

The music was beautiful and perfect for the setting.

Top Notch Wedding musicians

For my daughter's recent destination wedding in New Orleans a must have was live jazz music. I found New Orleans Classical and Jazz on the internet and from the minute I contacted Harry Hardin he worked with me to satisfy all of our requests including allowing us to choose the instruments in the quartet, pick the music and arrange a special piece for the newlywed's first dance. Harry provided top notch musicians for the wedding and they were so flexible and amenable to all of our requests which included a last minute change to the ceremony music. The music created just the right atmosphere we wanted for the wedding. The musicians were professional and a pleasure to work with. Their music was beyond our expectations and really made a great day even better. I would highly recommend working with Harry on your event. You will be glad you did.

Second Line Parade and Jazz Trio

I cannot say enough good things about New Orleans Classical & Jazz. Harry is very nice, professional, and super easy to communicate with. We hired Harry and his company for a second line parade brass band and a jazz trio for our wedding reception. Both were incredible! The brass band was super fun and I loved all the music they played. Our guests had an absolute blast dancing up and down the French Quarter in the parade. Harry also handled the hiring of the police escorts, and filing for the parade license. Such a great help to us! Our jazz trio was absolutely amazing too. The musicians were so talented and professional, and it was a treat getting to dance along to their music. Harry is so professional and considerate, he even talked rain plans with me as I was panicking about the weather before our big day. Luckily, the weather was absolutely perfect, but I know even had it rained, we would have still had great music and dancing at our wedding. Everything was so easy with New Orleans Classical & Jazz, I cannot recommend them enough!

Perfect and magical

Harry Hardin and his team of musicians are absolutely wonderful. Versatile, talented, and so professional. They were extremely accommodating, flexible and did a fantastic job providing the music for our ceremony. The pulled off beautiful string versions of our song requests seamlessly and flawlessly. Highly recommend.

We loved Harry Hardin and the quartet that performed at our wedding ceremony. I didn't work with him directly, everything was through our wedding planner but it appeared to go smoothly. They definitely added to the vibe we were trying to achieve in our Pharmacy Museum ceremony (and they looked the part!). I would highly recommend them and would hire them again. Harry and his wife provided violin music to enhance my daughter's wedding music at the church ceremony and it made the music sound heavenly. I worked with Harry to put together the music repertoire to match the ceremony I had planned. He was professional, customer service focused and very organized. He gave me song ideas, samples and structure to shape everything. There are choices for any instrument or instrument grouping you have in mind. He even worked with me to have my friend sing with the musicians. It was one of the most special moments of the evening. The musicians were wonderful! I would recommend them to any bride and groom.

We cannot recommend Harry and his group highly enough! Harry's group performed for my sister's wedding years ago, and there was no doubt in my mind who to pick for our wedding musicians. I was so excited to work with them! Not only are they truly some of the finest musicians in New Orleans, but Harry is a consummate professional. He gave amazingly quick yet thoughtful responses to any questions we had. He also gave great suggestions for songs/arrangements that really captured the feel we were looking for. We worked with Harry to coordinate ceremony musicians (and the right ensemble) as well as a second line band--and the music was phenomenal!! Our ceremony ensemble (including Harry) played magnificently; the music was so incredibly beautiful and moving, and it was the perfect setting to one of the most special moments in our lives. Later, our second line band brought the party with some New Orleans classics. And having been in quite a few wedding second lines, I have to say these guys were fantastic! They were so fun and engaging--everyone had a blast!

If you're considering hiring them, do it--you will not regret it! Having played various musical instruments during my lifetime and being a music-lover, I can say that Harry and his group are first-rate. Music was one of the most important things to us for our wedding, and these guys blew us away. So, thank you Harry and all the musicians at New Orleans Classical & Jazz! We couldn't be happier with y'all!!

I can't say enough about Harry Hardin and his musicians!
My daughter's wedding ceremony was beautiful and the music certainly set the tone for a romantic and sacred event. Harry and his musicians were incredibly accommodating and handled all of our requests with ease. They even played a beautiful stings rendition of " Waltzing Matilda" for the Australian groom that brought tears to everyone's eyes. We had guests in attendance from all over the world (literally, 5 continents represented). Everyone asked " where did you find the amazing musicians?" Get ready to travel, Harry !

Our wedding was magical thanks to Harry Hardin’s musicians. We worked with him to customize music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. He is able to customize exactly what you’re looking for! We booked a string quartet for our ceremony and a jazz trio for our courtyard cocktail hour + first dance. All of the musicians were professional, talented, and kind. I had Harry Hardin ( violin) and Ashley Tomen ( harp) play for my wedding. This was one of the highlights of my wedding! The music was so beautiful and brought tears to so many! I was able to hand pick my selection of songs from various genres. They played everything I requested from Beatles, Classical, Pop, Musicals. Guests have been constantly telling me how much the music reflected my personality. Contacting them was very easy and they respond quickly. They were truly a pleasure to work with and the music was breathtaking.

Harry, Thank you so much for the incredible music you provided for my daughter's wedding and second line. The string quartet brought a whole new element to the processional and recessional Beatles songs. They were so wonderful!! The Kinfolk Brass Band led our second line professionally and with great vigor. That was so much fun!! Thank you also for making the arrangements with the fine folks at NOPD. The flawless performance by you and your musicians in flawlessly planning and executing the ceremony and second line music helped make this The Perfect Wedding!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Harry and his musicians. I was told by every guest that they had never heard such beautiful music at a wedding ceremony. He led me through the process of picking out which classical pieces would sound best with the instruments we picked out. We even had an opera singer! The music was breathtaking!! It was a pleasure working with someone with such talent and professionalism as Harry. He does it all, from start to finish, so there is no need to worry about anything... just relax and enjoy the beautiful music!

I can not say enough great things about Harry Hardin! The entire process was stress-free, and the day-of musicians and arrangements were top-notch and just what I wanted! Harry performed ceremony music for our wedding in April at the Maison Dupuy in the courtyard in the French quarter.... I had a violin and a cello and they did absolutely beautifully! Harry was amazing with getting back with me promptly and he was easy when discussing specific songs and willing to work with me and my husband on what we wanted played, when, etc! He was on time and also very professional in person and via email! I recommend him and his others that play with him for a wedding ceremony or any type event! They were awesome and made our wedding day even more special!!!

New Orleans Classical & Jazz was the perfect choice for our wedding! From my very first phone conversation with Harry Hardin, I felt like I was in good hands. My husband and I were having a destination wedding in NOLA, but were living in New York, and as a classically trained opera singer (with a Masters degree in Music), I was a bit nervous about booking musicians off the internet alone.
However, I knew from the start that Harry from New Orleans Classical & Jazz knew what he was doing. Harry coordinated a classical pianist to play at our rehearsal luncheon, a classical trio to play during our ceremony, a guitarist to play our cocktail hour, and a five-piece jazz band to play at our reception.
First off, I couldn't believe the how fantastic the cellist was who played during our ceremony. I asked for the Bach Cello Suite No. 1 (which I've heard countless times played out of tune) for my bridal party's procession. The cellist nailed it stunningly! I was thrilled.
The guitarist was fantastic during our cocktail hour! He could play both classical and jazz well and was super friendly.
Finally, the jazz band blew me away! They were fun and flexible and while we had given them a couple songs in advance to play for us, they happily accompanied me singing an impromptu song for my mother. They played a drum roll for the bouquet toss and threw in a burlesque-type soundtrack for the garter removal and toss. They picked up on the fact that there were a lot of Minnesotans who wanted a chicken dance and broke out playing it at the end of the night and brought the house down!
We really couldn't have been happier with the services of New Orleans Classical & Jazz and highly recommend them for any musical aspect of your wedding!

We live in New York and had a destination wedding in New Orleans on April 23, 2015. We found Harry through reviews we read online, and after speaking with him on the phone we knew he was the right choice. We had a simple ceremony in the courtyard of hotel Mazarin. We chose to use 2 songs that are meaningful to us and Harry got the sheet music and played them on the violin with someone playing the guitar next to him. During the prelude we had a mix of Beatles, billy Joel, Elton John and other similar music. I cannot describe to you how amazing everything sounded. Before walking down the aisle I just listened and took it all in. We even had people video the ceremony just for the music!! Everyone raved and thought that it was amazing. Harry was exceptional during the whole process of figuring everything out and it far surpassed anything I could have imagined. If you're looking for someone to play at your wedding, New Orleans finest musicians is the place to use!! We keep playing the ceremony back just to listen to the music! Thanks Harry for making our day memorable!!

The music provided for my daughter's wedding at Latrobe's on Royal was fabulous!! Harry was so professional and easy to work with. 2 words - HIRE HARRY!

I did not have much experience finding bands before we hired him for our wedding. I was unsure what to expect when hiring a band but as an amateur musician myself I knew of the quality that I wanted. When I found Harry, his initial response gave me great confidence from the onset.

Harry and his group exceeded our expectations!

Harry provide a jazz quartet for our wedding (Tuba, Violin, Trumpet and Banjo), they provided incredible ambience for a cocktail hour and then added some additional musicians for a second line from the ceremony to the reception. They were AWESOME! They set such a great atmosphere for our guests, they have an extensive song list and were very affordable to boot. By the time we got to the reception, our guests were all ready to dance!

Harry is very hands on and will work with you to make your event special. All of the details were on point and there is not a single negative thing to speak of working with him. You WILL NOT go wrong with Harry and his team.

Harry Hardin was great to work with when planning my wedding ceremony music from Denver! He was very detailed and thorough in his emails with working on the ceremony music, sending me youtube videos of the songs to choose from, and figuring out the timing of each song they would play throughout the procession....very professional and organized throughout the whole process. I could also easily reach Harry via telephone and it was very nice to plan with him and get more feedback/suggestions over the phone. He grew up in New Orleans and had some wonderful insight. Harry put together a quartet with a trumpet, violin, classical guitar, and cello. Before the event, Harry also was in touch with our coordinator at Cafe Amelie where we had our ceremony, so they handled the final seating details, times to arrive, etc. which really helped me out a lot and kept me from having to worry about those final details! They showed up in very nice attire and played beautifully! I was very pleased to have him perform and would love to have him play again for me in the future at other events!

A huge thank you to Harry Hardin and his musicians. From the beginning, Harry was easy to work with and quick to respond - which made the process of planning our destination wedding so much easier. He had great insight into the song options and quickly lined up a cello and guitar player to handle entertainment during the ceremony. On our wedding day, the duo arrived early and played well and we received numerous compliments from guests. In addition, Harry also handled booking a second line band for us, taking care of police permits and the necessary paperwork so we didn't have to sweat the details from afar. The band (Pin Stripe) was waiting when our buses pulled up and did a phenomenal job - leading our 175 cheering guests through the streets of the Quarter. It was definitely a night to remember and we appreciate Harry's role in making our wedding even better than anticipated. I highly recommend New Orleans Finest Musicians!

My daughter's wedding was held at Cafe Amelie in New Orleans. The group provided excellent intro and wedding music and helped set the stage for a successful ceremony that was followed by another band playing more modern and jazzy music for listening and dancing. Wanted to write you to let you know that we could not have been more pleased with the musicians you sent for our Daughter's Wedding. They were incredible and showed up in a timely manner, quite well prepared and as professional as we have ever seen. The music was perfect throughout the entire ceremony. We were impressed with their ability to create the mood throughout the Nuptials by playing the different pieces in different volumes to fit the procession or recession. We were concerned that hiring only a duet may sound lost in that big church, but our fears were unfounded as the Cellist and Violinist together gave a beautiful full sound.

Harry Hardin and New Orleans Finest were absolutely awesome to work with. We wanted something a little different with our music and other classical musicians turned their noses up at us. Harry did the opposite - he was incredibly helpful, totally got what we were going for, worked with us when we pushed our date back a year and our string trio looked great and played fantastic. One of our only regrets on our wedding day was that we did not record these guys and I did not get to hear the prelude or processional. These are the kinds of folks you want to work with on your special day.

With less than two weeks to go before my wedding, I realized I hadn't given a single thought to ceremony music. So much for immaculate planning. I decided it would be too bizarre to process in total silence, so I reached out desperately to Harry Hardin and New Orleans' Finest Musicians (also called New Orleans Classical & Jazz).

Harry is the main contact for a group of musicians who play weddings and other special events in the New Orleans area. I was impressed by their website, which lists bios for their performers and several samples so you can hear them play. Harry is able to arrange (with enough advance notice!) for duets, trios or full bands, with many combinations of instruments and performers to suit your needs. As our ceremony only had 17 guests, I felt that anything beyond a solo musician would be overkill. I shot Harry an email and waited, but I didn't have to wait for long. He got back to me within 24 hours saying that he would personally be available, and I was thrilled.

Even on such short notice, Harry was able to accommodate my special requests for 1920's style jazz standards. My husband, who is a musician, was initially unsure about having a stranger play at our wedding since he has such high standards. But by the end of our wedding weekend, he was insistent that I send Harry an email to tell him his playing added a beautiful added dimension to our ceremony. I have to take his word for it, as I wasn't around for most of Harry's services, and was too busy trying to keep it together during his accompaniment as I walked down the aisle!

I won't reveal his fee but suffice it to say it is VERY reasonable for a professional musician, and I felt more than worth it. If you're in the New Orleans area and in need of music for your event, give Harry a call!

I hired Harry for my March 9, 2013 for my small, outdoor, intimate ceremony. I am an out of town bride, so all of our communication was via email. Harry always replied promptly, and was helpful along the way. He was more than willing to give advice, and suggest songs and arrangements. I chose mostly modern music for the ceremony, and each song sounded amazing. He arrived on time, was professional, and everyone loved listening as they were seating and waiting for the ceremony to begin. I even snuck out of the room to hear him play! My husband met me half way up the aisle to Jason Mraz "I won't give up" Harry timed it perfectly! He had sent me an email with the recording of him playing this song so I knew what he had palnned! He suggested "Firework" by Katy Perry for our recessional. I had not clue how it would sound, but I knew he was the expert, and trusted his judgement. He slowed it down, and it sounded so amazing! I would recommend this song as a recessional to anyone! Harry definitely added that special touch to my ceremony. I'm so glad we chose him! Thanks Harry!

I worked with Harry over several months as we planned my daughters wedding. His involvement in the wedding grew as he first was contracted to do the strings for the wedding. Then we added a brass band for a second line parade from the church to the reception site. We, then, added a Dixieland trio for the cocktail hour. Eventually, I had him acquire a vocalist for the ceremony. Then, my son-in-laws parents got him to provide the jazz trio for the rehearsal dinner. That is a lot of music for one wedding! I cannot say enough about working with Harry. He was very professional yet patient as we developed our wedding music. The musicians for the wedding performed the most beautiful classical wedding music and Sarah Jane McMahon, the vocalist, was exquisite. The brass band got our party started as we paraded to the reception and the Dixieland trio set a nice tone for our cocktail hour. All in all, we feel Harry helped to provide a full New Orleans musical experience for our guests that came from as far as California and New York , as well as our North Louisiana family and friends. With Harry taking care of our music, I truly had no worries about it!

Can't say enough about my experience with Harry Hardin and New Orleans Finest Musicians. They played at my ceremony on November 9th and did the perfect job. I chose untraditional music (from a soundtrack I loved) and so they had to learn new songs, but it seemed to be seamless. Harry was very responsive to my e-mails and was always willing to offer suggestions when I needed. He made changes to our music and the order of the processional all the way up to the day of the wedding. He even endured sitting in some rain while still playing music for over half an hour for our outdoor ceremony!

New Orleans' Finest Musicians did an AMAZING job at our ceremony. Harry was so laid back and easy to work with which made everything go even smoother. I was a little worried since I know nothing about classical music, but Harry made it easy for me. All I had to do was tell him the type of ambiance and feel I was going for and he gave me suggestions for each part of the ceremony. I barely had to do anything and it all went perfectly! They are very knowledgeable which made it easy for me to trust them. Their performance was flawless and I would recommend them to anyone.

After seeing the web site for New Orleans Finest Musicians,I contacted Harry for a solo violinist to play for our very small wedding ceremony. The wedding was in New Orleans and as mother of the groom, I was doing the planning from Birmingham., AL. The bride and groom were coming from Japan. Harry was most helpful, providing links to hear different selections to choose from, adapting our music for a very short aisle, making the process very easy.
Natalia Cascante, the violinist, arrived in ample time ,and was very professional and pleasant .
Her performance added so much to the ambiance we were looking for . I recommend them highly and would feel confident wth any of their musicians.

I hired New Orlean's Finest Musician for our wedding. I was planning the entire wedding from Vancouver. Harry was very helpful. Always responded to my requests, questions, emails right away. He went out of his way to learn special music notes for my wedding. He did everything to accommodate us on our wedding day. At the wedding, everything was perfect. He even brought over his own fan to make us less miserable in the sun during our ceremony. If you are looking for classical or jazz then look no further. These guys are professionals and very reliable.

Harry stepped in at the last minute because of problems we had with other muscisians we booked. He was very helpful, easy to get in touch with and very patient. He had a very large song repertoire and even provided a song my daughter requested. The music and instruments were beautiful! The musicians were also dressed appropriately for the ceremony. I Highly Recommend!

It was great working with Harry Hardin for our wedding. He asked what we wanted, gave valuable suggestions and shared links for us to hear different instruments. He is very patient.

His musicians are professional and we were very happy with how our harpist created the ambience for our wedding.

...everyone said the church was beautiful and I think that it was because of your music. The music was so absolutely beautiful and the switch up from the strings to the organ was a wonderful suggestion- so dramatic. Working with you to coordinate was one of the easiest parts of the wedding- in fact, you took that pressure off how things would work at the church.
I will gladly recommend Harry Hardin.

Harry and his team were extraordinary. He was a pleasure to work with every step of the way and his group was wonderful. We had asked for a more "rock" oriented song to be written for strings and he coordinated this and performed it beautifully. Would not hesitate to recommend him.

New Orlean's Finest was absolutely wonderful. We had a duo (violin - Harry Hardin and guitar - Scott Parro) at our outdoor ceremony and it was just perfect. Harry was willing to work with me on song selection, gave great suggestions and even offered to track down a uklele for me. He was prompt in responding to emails, super easy to work with and worked really well with all of our other vendors. I highly recommend Harry and New Orleans Finest!

We truly appreciated how organized and responsive Harry was from the very beginning; he communicated fairly and promptly about your services, and most of all, was very open-minded about our selections. It meant so much to us that he was able to research and provide the guitar and violin arrangement for Tchaikovsky's Pas de Deux, and Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring sounded just perfect. On top of that, our vocalists said that he was amazing to work with on the arrangements for "I'll Cover You" and "Marry Me." We received so much beautiful feedback from our guests about how personal and moving the music was, both vocal and instrumental. Not surprisingly, as we have gone back and watched the video, some of our favorite moments from the ceremony are those that involved the music. We will cherish it for many years to come and want to thank Harry again for helping to make our wedding as beautiful and as touching as we had hoped. Five stars!!!

I had always envisioned a string trio for my ceremony, and my search brought me to Harry with New Orleans Finest Musicians. They were absolutely amazing. I got many compliments on the ceremony music because of these guys. Harry always answered any of my questions to the best of his ability. He was a great help. I would recommend them to anyone! It was a perfect touch to the ceremony.

The instruments we chose were the violin, cello, trumpet, and piano.

I loved working with Harry. He put together a very very nice and unique ceremony set (or is it compilation?). He even ordered music sheets for a song that he had not heard of before, and his group played it so beautiful. I would recommend him for any event! He is professional, responsive and works with your budget. I can't say enough good things about him and his talented group.

New Orleans' Finest Musicians were the perfect match for our wedding. Harry was incredibly prompt and thourough in his replies, and helped us pick the songs when we got a bit "lost" in what we wanted, and how many musicians we'd need (he was not at all focused on selling more, but on what we needed at our venue). Harry helped us put together a great set of songs, which worked beautifully on the day. The musicians turned up early to set up their equipment, and spent time practicing to make sure everything was as it should be. I can highly recommend Harry and his team - they made our ceremony unforgettable (and all our guests teary-eyed). Thank you so much for making our special day complete!

Planning my wedding from out of state required a leap of faith when hiring all of my vendors. Harry was by far the easiest and most responsive of all of the vendors I worked with. He was quick to answer my questions and came up with a wide selection of different song suggestions for me to choose from. We incorporated some Beatles tunes into the ceremony as well and he and his musicians played them all beautifully! We also had a wide variety of musicians and styles to choose from including classical guitar, trumpet, violins, viola, cello, harpist, and more. I ended up going with the classical guitarist, violin, and trumpet and it sounded beautiful!

We really wanted students from either NOCCA (New Orleans Center for Creative Arts) or Loyola’s Music Department to play for our ceremony, for two reasons. First we wanted to support student musicians, and second, we needed to save money to be able to afford Bucktown All-Stars. I emailed some teachers at NOCCA and professors at Loyola for recommendations. A NOCCA teacher called me and said she wouldn’t recommend high school students doing a wedding ceremony, even though they could certainly play the music very well, because of all the timing issues and last minute adjustments that could come up. She did offer to put together an ensemble of NOCCA teachers, but we were determined to have students. A professor from Loyola emailed me and recommended his graduate teaching assistant, Riccardo Emilien, as great trumpeter, and suggested Riccardo could recruit some other students for the ensemble. At the same time I had contacted Harry Hardin of New Orleans Finest Musicians for some advice. He also warned against having a group of students who weren’t experienced at the timing demands of a wedding ceremony. We decided to compromise and have Harry put together 3 musicians from New Orleans Finest Musicians and also have Riccardo from Loyola as the trumpeter. Harry was super flexible and appreciated our effort to include student musicians. We met with Harry to pick out our ceremony music which was really fun, and he did all the rest of the coordinating, including with Riccardo so everyone was on the same page. Harry and his wife and another great musician performed beautifully, and Riccardo did an amazing job on Trumpet Voluntary. We did have a last minute change in number of people walking down the aisle, which affected the timing of the music, so I was glad we had a professional in charge. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire students if you can find a group that plays weddings all the time, but I was unable to, and I’m glad it worked out the way it did.

Also, Harry gave us the confidence we needed to go ahead with having the brass band walk us up the aisle playing the recessional, which was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding day.

I had a very small courtyard wedding in the quarter and wanted just a guitarist to play for the ceremony. Harry set us up with John Bagnato. His playing was beautiful and several people in our party commented on how lovely the music was. He even learned a song for our ceremony that was special to us. Harry was responsive to every request and his communication was impeccable. The cost was very reasonable and we would definitely recommend Harry and his musicians to anyone who wants the best.

We absolutely loved the music for the ceremony. Everyone has given us nothing but wonderful compliments about the ceremony music. I got chills during the Ave Maria, and the violin sounded more than amazing. You have no idea how much we'd like to thank you for service and patience on helping us choose the instruments and music.
