Barry, the owner of NJ Sound Machine, is absolutely amazing!! We happened to find NJ Sound Machine while searching online for a DJ, and boy am I happy we did. Barry is extremely responsive, making sure no detail went left untouched. He asked the right questions to get a good feel for the music my husband and I were looking for and did not disappoint the day of. Barry read our crowd perfectly and had everyone on the dance floor all night long! On top of being an amazing DJ, he even sang live during dinner, which was a surprise for our guests. His voice is beautiful and it made our day extra special! Barry’s knowledge and passion for all things music shows in everything he does and resulted in the most perfect night. Along with hiring NJ Sound Machine as our DJ, we were pleased to find out that we could also get a photo booth through the company, which came with the props, background, photo book for my husband and I, and an attendant at the machine to be sure all pictures came out perfectly. If you’re looking for the perfect DJ for your wedding, look no further, as Barry and NJ Sound Machine are by far the best! Thank you so much Barry for making our special day perfect! -

My wedding was AMAZING and a lot of that credit goes to New Jersey Sound Machine. The dance floor was always packed and there was never a dull moment. We spontaneously had karaoke happening when I grabbed the mic to rap to 'Ice Ice Baby', a mosh pit for my husband and groomsmen, and a full on dance battle. I don't think any other DJ/MC could have created all these great moments on the spot. We received so many compliments about Barry during and after the wedding. They were all super impressed by his talent. Guests also had a great time at the photo booth, making gifs. In addition, Barry was so easy to work with and always made himself available to me. -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Barry and New Jersey Sound Machine. Right from the start, Barry was so responsive and professional. From our first conversation we knew that Barry was going to be amazing. What we didn’t know was that he would exceed every hope we had. Barry truly read the room and knew what would get people onto the dance floor. In additional, he sang throughout the dinner service. The number of guests who came up to us and said it sounded like Michael Bublee or Frank Sinatra was singing was amazing. I truly cannot recommend Barry and New Jersey Sound Machine enough. He helped make every moment of our wedding perfect. -

Barry is incredibly talented and easy to work with. He is organized and takes all the entertaining pressure off of you.
For our wedding, Barry mastered our request of singing Frank Sinatra during dinner and turning our wedding venue into a “club” atmosphere after cake cutting.
Wedding planning is stressful - Barry kept my husband and I organized, he made sure we were able to enjoy the night and every song we requested was played.
We cannot thank or recommend him enough ! -

On my search for a DJ for our wedding, Barry was the first to reach out to us. He was honest, and he truly was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I had to postpone our wedding reception because of COVID. When we knew we had to make a change, Barry was able to accommodate to the new date. He has page where you can give detail of your nights events, helped what songs to select. He was on top of everything! He San during our dinner hour, and my family loved it. It brought something different to the day. I would recommend Barry in a Heartbeat !! -

We are so glad to recommend NJ Sound Machine. From the start, Barry was responsive and professional. There was regular (but not bothersome) communication to ensure that everything was on track and that we were happy. Planning and payment were easy with the client portal. We had CJ as our DJ; he was friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented. He worked through all the details in our planner and even accommodated a few last-minute requests for announcements and replaying a song we wanted. He also had some helpful suggestions for things we hadn’t settled on yet. Everything from the ceremony through the last song of the night was terrific. CJ did a great job reading the room and ensuring everyone had a great time on the dance floor. We received many compliments about how great our DJ was and how well he managed the evening. We particularly liked that he was able to keep the energy up and the mood elevated without being cheesy or an over-chatty hype man. NJ sound Machine was terrific from start to finish, all for a great price. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great DJ! -

Barry was an amazing DJ and Singer (sang Sinatra during dinner). He was also able to find us 2 amazing musicians for cocktail hour. Barry was easy to work with through the process a total class act. Would highly recommend! -

Barry was the absolute best. From start to finish, our experience with Barry was smooth. He was attentive, he was detail-oriented, and was extremely professional. My husband and I reached out to multiple DJs and found all of them to be cheesy car salesman. But when we got in touch with Barry, he seemed like a regular guy - he didn't push any deals on us or pressure us into working with him. We went with Barry because he gave us the biggest bang for our buck. He had a beautiful, sleek photobooth set up, uplighting, monogram, and he sang live during dinner. He was SO good that some people didn't think he was singing - they thought Michael Buble was playing through the speakers! He played wonderful music - everyone was up on the dance floor the entire night. One of my guests told me that, in thirty years, he never danced at weddings but he danced the entire night at ours because of the music Barry played. His attendant was also really great. We asked if they could set up our livestream for our ceremony and he was kind, patient, and respectful. The photobooth attendant was also really great. Overall, I would definitely use and recommend NJ Sound Machine. A+ all around. -

Soooo easy to work with and so accommodative. We postponed our Wedding and finally had it in a family backyard. Barry was so flexible and easy to work with and definitely helped alleviate my stress about our DJ and music. He was absolutely perfect the day of -- the music was perfect, our guests danced (socially distanced of course) on our makeshift (grass) dance floor LOL, everyone had an amazing time and it was wonderful and more than I could have asked for. SO HAPPY thank you so much Barry. -

Well, we got very lucky with our timing and were married right before the Coronavirus forced the Venues to shut down. New Jersey Sound Machine deserves 10 out of 10 rating. Fabulous entertainment, communication. They rocked the party and everyone danced the whole time. The online planner was easy to use and made planning our Wedding hassle-free. My wife gets super stressed about details and little stuff and Barry made her feel very comfortable the whole time. They listen to everything you say and follow instructions extremely well. You get to work with your DJ from the very start, which we loved. You have to use them, don't even think twice. The best part is that not only is the probably the best company to work with, but they are also one of the best priced DJs out there!!!`1 -

OMG! Barry and his assistant were absolutely incredible. From the moment we spoke with Barry on the phone we knew we found our DJ,, we connected almost immediately with him and he spoken our musical language. Barry was very knowledgeable with Latin music (my family is from Puerto Rico and my husband's is from New Jersey). Barry played a great mix of Latin and American dance music and had everyone up all night dancing and partying. Their online planner is SO EASY to use and enter your Wedding Details - it made planning very convenient. We'll never hire another DJ as long as we live!! Thank you Barry for a great Wedding!
