Such great photos

Micah took some absolutely awesome photos! Worked with me to get the example photos I wanted and captured my big day exactly as I wanted! My only regret was not letting them in on a secret part of the ceremony where we honored our moms by giving them roses but that was my own fault! I wanted to keep that under wraps so they wouldn’t find out.

Working with Micah was absolutely extraordinary. She's the number one person you want by your side on your wedding day because not only does she take the most incredible photos but her personality makes you feel at ease. She's beyond a pleasure to be around and helped our day go so smoothly. We had a virtual component and she helped manage the Zoom - our virtual guests said this was the best virtual wedding they had ever been to because of how seamless the technology was working (thanks to Micah). Her photos were so incredible that our photos were featured in major media outlets - highlighting her work! We picked micah because of her talent, her personality and her experience in this industry. It was the best decision we made for our wedding and I can't recommend her and her team enough!

Wonderful people that know how to make you relax.

New Hampshire Photographers are absolutely awesome throughout the whole process. I was planning my NH wedding from far away, and he was so great about communicating with me via phone and email. He captured more candid photos, which I prefer over more posed ones. I loved looking back at the images to relive the whole experience – he captured all the most important moments flawlessly, and even the moments I didn't know had happened (which were great to be able to experience after the fact!) Micah is friendly, and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. My photos were completed so quickly too - I had access to the finished photos from the wedding approximately one month later (which i thought was super quick!) But don't worry quality is not sacrificed one bit by his speed and efficiency. He would be a great choice to photograph your wedding or any event.

Great Photos all my people love them!

Micah was so much more than a photographer for our wedding. As a bride there is so much that goes into planning a wedding, but Micah helped ensure that all of the necessary details were there. He walked me through our big day before we had to actually do it, making sure everything was in place. After giving Micah a list of my family and wedding party he seemed to know them all by name (and that is no small feat, I have a pretty large family). My favorite example of how Micah is so much more than a photographer was when I was given the knife to cut the cake and he leaned in to ask if we knew how to cut the cake...of course that was a detail I didn't think about :) Micah told us how to cut a slice without destroying the entire thing and he saved us from making a mess of our beautiful cake.

Calm and Chill we loved them!

We hit it off with Micah Gummel of the bat. He was so responsive in setting up our engagement session and worked with our complicated schedules to pick a date that worked. The afternoon with him flew by because it was filled with laughter and great conversation. It didn't take much for us to decide to book him for our wedding - the travel costs are worth the experience and quality of his photos! You can tell that he genuinely loves his job and clients. We're looking forward to working with him, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.

We had the honor of Micah at our wedding and he is incredible. From the beautiful engagement shoot at the beach to the 275 person church and tent wedding, Micah had a challenge with all the venues and people but he did it with complete chilledness and style.

Good times great people

Samantha here, Micah and crew are professional and attentive behind the lens and so much fun during all the bits in between. Group shots were super smooth and efficient, then individual shots with my wife were just a blast. Throughout the course of day Micah and team continued to bring a thirst and enthusiasm for capturing our wedding and what made that day so special for us and looking at all the photos they delivered what we were looking for and so much more. You guy are the best!

Awesome people with excellent ideas

I hired Micah at New Hampshire Photographers because he seemed to be the most reasonably priced. He stated that he can give my husband and I access to the secured folder once the pictures were taken and we can print our pictures ourselves. I was interested in this because I was honestly looking to save any bit of money possible. Micah and Michelle arrived at the wedding location on time and immediately got to work asking me what I was interested in having photographed and who was most important to be in the pictures. Unfortunately, my father and grandmother were having medical problems that limited how much time they would be available for pictures so once the ceremony was over, Michelle and Micah made sure these pictures were taken first. They had so many wonderful ideas! They loved the textures of my wedding venue (my grandparents log home) so they utilized parts of the home and property that I hadn't thought of. Micah and Michelle worked with me through every step of the way and never made me feel rushed. I would highly recommend New Hampshire Photographers!

Great photographer that was willing to work with us for what we wanted

This was a second wedding for both of us and we knew exactly what we wanted. We contacted a lot of photographers and no one but Micah was willing to work with us. Every other photographer wanted us to choose a package. Micah was great even offering to do our outdoor pictures a day earlier if the forecast wasn’t conducive to outdoor pictures. Our pictures all can out amazing and when you have 7 children in the wedding party it’s not easy to get them to cooperate which Micah was able to do. Overall we thought the work was great, the proofs were available when we got back from our honeymoon and printing what we wanted was easy. Micah was available to edit our pictures as we asked and the turn around was quick. I can’t recommend New Hampshire Photographers enough.

Beautiful and fun engagement photos

My fiance and I have never posted for photographs before ans we were nervous. We booked an engagement session with Micah after we booked him for our wedding, so we could get used to being in front of the camera before the big day. He gives off this relaxing vibe and made us feel so comfortable. We had a fun time even though it was really cold and we got some really great pictures that we love! He gave us the pictures in a week which I think is amazingly fast compared to some photographers. He had a great eye for what to use as backgrounds (we did our photos outside). The color was rich and the focus was crystal clear in every photo. We are using our engagement pictures to make a photo book with wide margins around each photo as our wedding guest book and he suggested a good quality place to make such a book.

Micah answered all my messages quickly and was very responsive to any questions I had. We are very excited to have him capturing our special day after seeing the results of the engagement pictures!!!

Perfectly captured the perfect day

An Excellent Company

New Hampshire Photography, specifically Micah, was an amazing person to work with for our wedding. Not only were the final photos excellent, but his general demeaner leading up to and during the wedding was great. He helped to ensure that the decisions we made pertaining to the photos were the right ones. Above all he was patient and understanding. I know that working with my family can be difficult but he smiled and directed the whole thing like a true professional.

Scenic Fall Wedding Captured

It was a pleasure to work with Micah and his team. He was flexible, easy to communicate with and helped capture our perfect day. The pricing package fit what we needed and we were able to customize certain photos to make our favorite pop in frames around our home that will last for years to come.

Right from our first meeting, Micah we new he was exactly the sort of photography we were after for our wedding. He was unobtrusive, friendly and totally fun, and put all of our guests at ease too, and we love all the photos – as evidenced by us not making any changes or removing any photos from our online and physical albums. So much love for Joe! We traveled from Oklahoma to New Hampshire for our elopement and he was so helpful and super fun to work with. There's certainly no awkwardness with the whole photo process as they make you feel super comfortable with whatever type of pictures you're trying to capture. Micah was also an incredible help throughout the day and sweet as can be. Even if it had nothing to do with wedding stuff, Micah was always able to give a second opinion on where to eat and what the best spots were to check out. We're very lucky to have found New Hampshire photographers.

Their photos truly speak for themselves- after you see their talent I'm postive you don't need my review to help further convince you. Now Photography-wise...the pictures were beautiful! I got married during a hurricane so it made taking pictures kind of tricky. Also, because of the craziness of the day we were unable to get to one of our photography sites. Micah was prepared with several other sites that were probably even more beautiful than our original plan.

Micah has a plan when all plans goes away! He is so much more than an awesome photographer! I would recommend him to every bride-to-be that I know.

Of course I wish that photography was so expensive, but when searching around his prices were reasonable compared to other photographers in the area and like I said...you get so much more than a photographer.

Micah photographed our wedding less than one month ago. The results were amazing! She captured all of the important moments but so many more with his classic and beautiful style. To say he exceeded our expectations would be a major understatement. The best part is I hardly remember him being there! He is easily one of the most professional photographers in East Kingston. And his processing time was unbelievable - we were still on our honeymoon when he got us the results. We couldn't put a price on our wedding photos - which we will cherish forever!

We loved Micah Gummel ! The moment we met him we knew we were going to be in good hands. He was very warm and welcoming. It truly put us at ease to see him that all his work are beautiful. He incorporated his talents and skills to our needs. On our wedding day, he exuded professionalism and put our needs first. We wanted to make sure we had pictures with every single guests that we even forgot to give him a minute to eat. He and his assistant Jennifer took all the pictures we wanted. He knows that it is such a momentous day for my husband and I that he made sure to capture every single moment. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further. Micah is the best wedding photographer we could have had and we were so happy with the results!!! He captured everything during our wedding, even the small details. He was very professional yet made us feel very comfortable during our wedding day (even though we were nervous). Micah was absolutely fantastic. We loved that he scouted the site first, and had a clear and outstanding plan for where the most beautiful pictures could be taken. He and his assistant were so easy to work with on the day of the wedding, and the photo shoots were a lot of fun. The proof though, is in the pudding! The pictures are unique and amazing. We loved every one and had a difficult time narrowing it down to the album. Micah just sent us the proofs for the album, which clearly took QUITE a lot of attention and dedication. It's simply fantastic, and she devoted much time to just the correct layout, photo adjustments, and cropping. In short, he was outstanding in every capacity, and we would recommend him highly!

Micah was so fantastic to work with. I had a very small wedding and was worried about finding a photographer that was willing to take on a smaller project on a Saturday in May. From the beginning, Micah treated my wedding as a top priority. On my wedding day, we were taking pictures while getting ready about 30 minutes before my outdoor ceremony and it became clear that it was about to downpour. Micah quickly adapted and took wonderful photos for us on a covered terrace. Luckily we were able to move outdoors for pictures after the ceremony and he ensured that we captured every image I requested. I am NOT very comfortable having my photograph taken, and he was great with that and provided a lot of guidance. He also did a great job capturing candids that I didn't think we would have time or a budget for. My entire family (all of our 15 guests!) enjoyed working with him and everyone had wonderful things to say about him the next day. I highly, highly recommend Micah!

So I literally talked to more than 10 photographers before selecting Micah. I was having a small civil ceremony and had no idea on where to have it, how to do it, etc. I gave all the photographers a few parameters like - I wanted it simple, I wanted my dog involved and asked for suggestions. Most gave very general suggestions like parks or towns. Micah was the only one who gave me an exact location and sent me examples of pictures he had taken there. After I went to check it out and loved the location, he went as far as to suggest the best times to take pictures there based where the park was facing (east/west) and on when the sun was setting during that time of year. Based on his suggestions, I scheduled the ceremony. Micah was GREAT to work with. Our wedding day turned out to be cold and rainy. He just threw on a raincoat and was super patient and thorough. When I wanted to quit he was there to encourage us to keep smiling! I totally recommend having Micah do your pictures - you will not regret it!

Micah’s photographs are absolutely inspired. He has a knack for capturing the feel and the raw emotion of the moment, but also creating the feeling of nostalgia. His photographs are not a standard studio photograph, they all full of personality and look as though they are ripped from the pages of a magazine or calendar. This is not your average photographer! You can't look at one of his photographs without smiling, he a true artist just take a look at the site. What a rare find - we were SO happy with them as our photographers! They have the eye for gorgeous photos and so much professionalism, organizational skills, communication style. Micah is the best photographer I have ever met and worked with, including my own father, who went to the Rhode Island School of Photography! He is professional, considerate, extremely talented, and punctual. Our communication was open and clear, he took the pictures we had wanted, and sent us our album very promptly, and the pictures were breathtaking. If you've seen the New Hampshire Photographers website, you know he and his team specializes in live events, even concerts as a Music photographer Micah is well known in the industry what great diversity and creativity his team has. Tears were in my eyes as we looked through our album as I saw our wedding as a picturesque fairytale. As it was, the weather was SO hot but they kept there cool and did amazing work and never let on if they were uncomfortable with the HOT New England weather. they set up her own shots with our favors and wedding items and everything looked like it was in a dream. Micah did a beautiful job capturing the joy & personality of our wedding! We got married on a bright, sunny Saturday at a national park, which meant a lot of harsh lighting to contend with. He mastered some tough conditions with grace & style. Whether gently guiding us to get the best poses for our portraits, or ensuring he was in just the right spot to capture the perfect candid moment, he did whatever he had to for that perfect shot. I especially appreciated his attention to even the tiniest detail, which really meant a lot since so much of our wedding was done by hand to create a deeply personal atmosphere. Without us even having to ask, all on his own he was thoughtful enough to spend time getting beautiful, artistic images of things like a sculpture my brother made, and the hand-drawn labels for the buffet that I spent hours working on. It's that kind of attention to detail that I think sets Micah apart. He notices where the personality is, where those little details are that really tell a couple's love story in the subtlest of ways. Any photographer can capture a decent pose, but not every photographer is going to get on their knees to get the tiniest speck of dirt off your skirt. But Pam did! Any photographer can take a picture of a buffet, but not every photographer's going to focus on tiny calligraphy. But Micah did! If you're looking for a photographer who really tries their best to not only capture your most important day, but capture everything that makes you as a couple so uniquely special, look no further!

I've had a handful of photo shoots prior to my shoot with Micah a couple weeks ago. However, this shoot was quite different, it was probably the quickest one I've ever had but at the same time managing to get SOO many good shots in. This guy is extremely talented and more so knowledgeable when it comes to photography, poses, lighting, angles, etc.
Working with Micah was very easy and comfortable. I am new in the modeling world and I must say my favorite part about shooting with him was the tips and tricks he told me during the shoot and how to use them in future shoots, or bookings and how he explained things rather than just telling you what to do or how to pose.
If anyone was looking for a REALLY good photographer I would definitely recommend Micah Gummel. Well worth it!

Micah and his team were absolutely awesome throughout the whole process. I was planning my NH wedding from far away, and he was so great about communicating with me via phone and email. He captured more candid photos, which I prefer over more posed ones. I loved looking back at the images to relive the whole experience – he captured all the most important moments flawlessly, and even the moments I didn't know had happened (which were great to be able to experience after the fact!) Micah is friendly, and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. My photos were completed so quickly too - I had access to the finished photos from the wedding approximately one month later (which i thought was super quick!) Micah and his team were so responsive from the very beginning! I had a thousand questions about how long we really needed coverage for our wedding day and the best timeline to follow and they were so helpful with everything. We had our engagement pictures in February and they came out perfect! They are so down to earth and made us feel so comfortable at our shoot despite the fact that they were follow us around with cameras for a few hours! Professional and simple

Micah was a dream come true for my husband and I. We searched and searched trying to find not only a photographer in our budget, but a great quality photographer at that. We came across New Hampshire Photographers and there website and we were blown away by his prices but so amazed when we saw his work of art. Happy, fun and Professional

The quick version is – These Guys are Great!. Don’t think twice about it. Working with Micah was our favorite vendor and one of our best decisions! Micah is all of the things that matter most. A true professional, extremely talented, experienced, flexible and excellent about communication and follow up. You may not realize how much time you spend with your photographer on your wedding day but it’s A LOT. It’s important to be with someone who is kind, fun, easy-going and who is as happy to be there as you are!

The longer version is - I am one of those people who rarely likes pictures of myself and I was blown away by Micah’s work! Our photos were stunning, flattering, and captured all of the details and emotions of the day. I felt like I was looking at a fairy tale story of our wedding day. The turn-around time was also impressive. Aaron worked to learn about us as a couple (such as wanting to know our personal love story!) and asked about what is important to us (including what wedding elements we cared about most, details of family dynamics, etc) and created a detailed wedding day timeline. What impressed me MOST was that despite this thoughtfully planned timeline, he was incredibly flexible on our actual wedding day! The rain had resulted in a lot of back and forth about ceremony location and start time and changed some of our planned locations for photos. Micah and his team seamlessly went with the flow and altered their timeline as needed and STILL managed to capture all of the shots and moments we were hoping for. Only someone as talented and experienced as Aaron could've pulled this off the way he did. Your wedding photos are an investment. It is the one thing you will have when the whirlwind of your wedding day is over. You must choose Aaron. I could never recommend him enough.

We had an absolute blast with these photographers they were punctual professional and there to support. They even handled some of the wedding coordinator duties LOL. There certainly is not enough I could say about the beautiful work of Micah Gummel. Our relationship began 5 years ago when after interviewing about 20 wedding photographers, I feel in love with his photo journalistic style. Looking at sample photos of weddings, Concerts and Models (This diversity is key in my book to seeing The SHOT) that Micah shot, I could tell that he was going to be able to capture those special moments with raw emotion and he did just that. I can't just pick one favorite picture that Micah took of my wedding because they are all so beautiful, but he captured a special one of my husband and I when we were peeking into the function hall all decorated and ready to make our grand entrance. It's that attention to detail, that makes Micah an amazing photographer. Micah is much more than a photographer; he is a part of our little story in life. He has not just photographed our start in life with our engagement and wedding, but he has photographed our family as it has grown through the years. He has this ability to capture those moments when we are being a silly little family giggling at one another or when my girls are playing in the sand while they think no one is looking. The photographs that Micah has provided me over the years are my MOST most treasured possessions. Each time she sends the link with my next session photos, it is like Christmas morning. There isn't enough I can say about how much I appreciate his artistry, non-obtrusive manner and attention to detail. Although I will soon need to build an addition to house all my beautiful photos, I am forever indebted to Micah for capturing the most important moments in my life.

Best in the biz!

Micah and his team were so responsive from the very beginning! I had a thousand questions about how long we really needed coverage for our wedding day and the best timeline to follow and they were so helpful with everything. We had our engagement pictures in February and they came out perfect! They are so down to earth and made us feel so comfortable at our shoot despite the fact that they were follow us around with cameras for a few hours! We had Micah add a beautiful artistic touch to several photos that you don't get with other wedding photographers. I love each and every one of the pictures that came out of that day. I could not recommend them more. They've are wonderful humans and even better photographers!

Stress free and full of ideas on the fly.

Let me just say out of all of the the stress from my wedding and everything that went wrong during the planning, Micah, at New Hampshire Photographers was absolutely the best choice I ever could have made for my wedding photographer! He was a breath of fresh air. He has so much experience and could handle any situation that happened during the wedding, which is a definite must because you never know what might happen! Micah was very quick to respond with any questions or concerns that I had. We communicated both by phone and email. They kept the whole wedding timeline under control so that I didn't have to worry about a thing. Prior to the wedding, he well informed herself about my family as well as my husband's to make sure that everything went smoothly. Which surprisingly it did and I could not be happier! He was very professional but also down to earth and up-front and honest which is what you want when dealing with photos of one of the most important day of your life!! He knows her stuff and may tell you something you might not like but from my own experience it is definitely better to know ahead of time rather than later when its too late. Take as much advice as you can get! The only negative thing I could even say is that I have so many absolutely beautiful wedding pictures to choose from that I can't pick which ones I want to frame! I told my husband our walls at home are going to be covered with our wedding pictures because they are all my favorites!

Friendly, kind and chill

We were very happy that we had New Hampshire Photographers to be our wedding photographers. Micah was very friendly and kind. He was a pro, thus, made us comfortable posing for the camera. We received the photos download link at a timely manner, and the shots were beautiful and amazing! Couldn't be more thankful for capturing the best moment of our lives! Definitely recommending to others.

Best in this business...

These guys are great professional and there to support a bridezilla! We were so nervous about finding a photographer but Micah and team put us at ease. We had a great time! If you are looking for a professional team to photograph your wedding New Hampshire Photographers are the ones.

On our big day Micah and team were focused, professional and attentive behind the lens and so much fun during all the bits in between. Group shots were super smooth and efficient, then individual shots with my wife were just a blast. Throughout the course of day Micah and team continued to bring a thirst and enthusiasm for capturing our wedding and what made that day so special for us and looking at all the photos they delivered what we were looking for and so much more. You guy are the best!

Wedding No-Show

I booked Micah/New Hampshire Photographers for my small, spring wedding. Unfortunately, he did not show up on the wedding date and we did not get any photographs of the entire ceremony, which was devastating and a moment we will never be able to capture again.

My husband and I had been very communicative leading up the wedding and I had chatted with Micah a month before the wedding to recap all of the details, addresses, times, additional contact information, his diet preferences, etc. All good right? Not even close. After the ceremony finished, we came to the conclusion that Micah never showed up. Our best man called him to see if there had been an issue, maybe he had gotten lost? No, he was informed by Micah very rudely (and without apology) that our wedding was the weekend following and he did not have any bookings that day….. We decided to let it go and enjoy our day. To be honest, I am actually happy we did not have Micah there as our entire wedding party came to the rescue and we were able to get some wonderful pictures.

While it was fun having everyone help with our impromptu “photo shoot”, no one had taken pictures or videos of our ceremony assuming there was a photographer. We will never be able to have pictures of those wonderful moments when we said our vows before all our friends and family.

The next day, I checked my phone and email expecting some form of an apology from Micah and indication that he would be refunding us our deposit. Hell, I would have been happy with just an acknowledgment of it. To my utter surprise and shock, there was nothing there. This is where I get angry. Mistakes happen, I get it. But to be rude on the phone to us the day of and then not even apologize or at least reach out?

I had to reach out to Micah (on the way to our honeymoon) to get a response and forwarded our contract and ALL of our previous email communications that were labeled in the subject line “May 4th Wedding” to ask for a refund on the deposit. Two days after the wedding that he disregarded, I get an email back letting me know the check was in the mail and a paltry apology stating it most likely was due to a computer crash and hinting that if I had reached out to him the week of, like some of his other clients, then he would have been reminded of our event and shown up. I had my affairs in order, but apparently, it was also my job to ensure Micah does his. I hope no one else has this experience with him and New Hampshire Photographers, but I would highly recommend going elsewhere if you want reliability and accountability.
