Shelly was amazing in every sense of the word. She met with us prior to our original wedding date that had to be postponed due to COVID and worked with us every step on get things rescheduled. On the day of Shelly showed up early to talk with us and The ceremony itself was made more wonderful by her beautiful words. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to officiate their wedding! -

My husband and I planned our elopement a few weeks before the date that we chose. We weren't sure if we were going to be able to find the right Justice of the Peace in time. Then we came across Shelly. She got back to us so quickly and she was so wonderful to work with. We were planning a more casual, small, and intimate ceremony. With this, we also wanted the day to feel sentimental and special. Shelly knew exactly what were were looking for. She sent a draft of the ceremony in advance of our elopement date and it was so easy to work with Shelly, she touched on everything we had asked for! We were expecting our first baby at the time, she was able to include a statement about this in our ceremony and that meant so much to us. Our family was so impressed by Shelly and they all felt like our ceremony was a perfect reflection of our relationship and just such a special day. Thank you Shelly! -

I couldn't be happier with choosing Shelly to be our JOP for our wedding ceremony. She is kind, attentive, and so easy to work with. With only one call and a few e-mails, Shelly was able to draft up a reading and vows that fit us perfectly without sounding generic. She sends this draft well in advance for you to look at in case there are any changes that you would like to be done. What makes Shelly a true all star is that she was able stand and execute our entire ceremony with an ankle injury without her crutches! -

We really enjoyed working with Shelly on our ceremony. She was extremely responsive, kind, and willing to answer all our questions before the big day. She cared about what we wanted out of our ceremony, made the adjustments and customizations we requested, and was pleasant and easy to work with throughout! Shelly was absolutely amazing and such a pleasure to work with! We got married on 9-28-24 at Atkinson Resort & Country Club. My husband & I both loved her and she really took her time to get to know us. We chose her signature Love Story Ceremony and I would recommend this option to anyone getting married. Our guests loved it and so did we. Something we will remember forever.

After seeing Shelly beautifully and articulately officiate a dear friend's wedding, she was the first (and only) officiant we reached out to when planning our wedding. Luckily for us, she was available on our day. Throughout the process she caringly got to know us via a phone interview, email and her well thought through couples questionnaire before writing a custom ceremony just for us. She allowed us to read through what she'd wrote and would have incorporated any edits or suggestions we had. The draft she sent via email was quite nearly perfect and we were both in tears reading it on our phones. Having attended, photographed and filmed dozens of weddings, I've come to realize the officiant is one of the most important pieces of the wedding puzzle. Ceremonies are all too often stymied by an unsure officiant tripping over their words. This wasn't a worry of ours with Shelly on our team. All you have to do is get your marriage license and she takes care of the rest! -

Shelly was absolutely a pleasure to work with. She did an amazing job with the ceremony, was fully prepared, and went through the ceremony with such grace. Shelly was an absolute pleasure to work with! I recently had a small ceremony in my backyard due to the Coronavirus. I wasn't able to meet with Shelly in person, but it didn't even matter because she created the most beautiful vows after we filled out a few brief questions. We didn't even have a rehearsal! Shelly arrived on the wedding day and quickly told me where I would be standing etc. She was an absolute rockstar and i would recommend her to anyone! -

Highly Recommend- the BEST!
Shelly was absolutely phenomenal! When we found out our friend (who was supposed to be the JP for our wedding) was going away for training, we were on the hunt to find a replacement. Shelly exceeded our expectations! Our original wedding was 4/24/2020, but thanks to COVID, we had to postpone (first on 7/10/2020 and then 4/23/2021). Shelly was beyond accommodating for each postponement we were forced to make. She was in constant communication with us throughout our entire planning process. Shelly made sure our ceremony was written exactly how we wanted it and was always willing to make changes if necessary. Words can't even begin to describe how truly awesome Shelly is. I highly recommend Shelly! You will NOT be disappointed! -
