Simply amazing from start to finish. I worked with Tanya and she was wonderful. I drove from Maine to NECR with my sister and she walked us through ordering everything we needed for my wedding. She was so much fun to work with. She was professional but also friendly and funny. That is a great skill to have when you are stressed out about how to plan the look of a wedding. Tanya was able to see my vision and run with it. We worked really well together. My wedding kept growing and growing. What was supposed to be a 60 person wedding turned into 100 and I was constantly calling Tanya to change the numbers. Tanya was able to accommodate all our changes and she called or emailed me back immediately when I had questions. She also worked with all my other vendors to make sure that all my bases were covered. We did have a little glitch with missing chairs being delivered and NECR had the chairs delivered to me with in 24 hours. The delivery guys were awesome and so were the pick up guys. All and all it was a great experience and Tanya was wonderful.

After canceling another rental company because of recent horrible reviews, I finally understand why NECR has higher prices - high quality product, a professional team, and dependability. I wish we hired NECR from the beginning of our wedding planning process, but we had to learn the hard way that you get what you pay for. NECR came through for us just a few weeks before our wedding, providing us with a fun bar set up near the dance floor that people could enjoy when they needed to catch their breath. Thanks for coming through for us, NECR!

NECR was fantastic! They helped make our wedding very special. We were very impressed with the wide variety of things that they could offer us. With several of their items, we constructed a huge Bourbon Bar, which really became a focal point in our country garden setting. Their barrel tables and tractor seat stools only added to the whole country theme. NECR was also fantastic to work with. I would highly recommend using them for your future event.

I was referred to New England Country rentals by my wedding venue, and I'm so happy I got the chance to work with them! My order was not large- just three walnut farm tables that were used as our Head Table. I originally worked with Heather who ended up leaving, so I was put in touch with Hattie and Rebecca. There was absolutely no issue with the transition, and all three ladies were so pleasant and easy to work with! The order and payment process were both smooth. I wasn't involved with the actual delivery since my venue handled that portion, but it seemed to go just fine. The tables were absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. From what I experienced, they have a fabulous team and high quality products! I would highly recommend using NECR for your event rental needs!!

NECR has a beautiful selection of furniture and decor that really allow you to have a wedding that is your own and very personalized to the venue. The staff at NECR were so flexible because I changed my mind a lot and even at the last minute but they did everything they could to make me happy.

Not only did I use NECR for my own wedding this past May, but I'm always recommending them for the weddings I do flowers for. Their pieces are so unique and give their events a warm, well-designed feel. But beyond their amazing offerings, their service is exquisite and their staff is well-trained and professional. The staff at NECR is amazing. I must have changed my list 10 times and there was never a complaint. They redid the invoice each time. The equipment arrived flawlessly, in mint condition and it was exactly as advertised. The wedding was in Nantucket and they made sure that they arrived early enough the day before for set up. They are flexible, professional and make planning a wedding a delight. Don't go anywhere else.

After dealing with many vendors for my daughter's wedding, it was a pleasure to work with NECR. They are professional, reliable and patient. They respond promptly, offer valuable advice and, when working with them, I could rest assured that all requests would be done correctly and accurately. Kassie, whom I mostly dealt with, made my work easy and enjoyable. She is a valuable member of their team. There was one detail of my August 31, 2013 wedding I refused to compromise on and that was long wooden farm tables at my reception. I desperately dreamed of beautiful long tables with no linens and my dearest friends and family gathered together under a beautiful tent to celebrate my wedding. And thanks to NECR that is exactly what I had. My dream wedding reception. From day 1 meeting the NECR team and seeing their showroom I knew they would e amazing to work with. Kassie was so easy to get in touch with and made the entire process of my initial order, then finalizing everything a few weeks before my special day. And the day they came to set the tables and chairs up the gentlemen were extremely professional, polite, all of the tables were assembled on site, the chairs were set up and every cushion was nice and clean. Hands down I would work with NECR for any of my rental needs, they have such beautiful products. And I love that they although growing daily still started as a small business a husband and wife. And that their staff all seams to be like one big family. If every you weren't sure about renting from them, just visit their showroom, it will absolutely leave no doubt in your mind everything is exquisite !!!! My wedding reception fulfilled any dream I had of it and part of that was thanks to my lovely rentals from NECR.

New England Country Rentals absolutely "made" our wedding! We used their church pews and benches for our ceremony site and farm tables, chalk boards, and lounge furniture for our reception. The decor made our wedding unique and brought our style to the event. Kelly and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were kind, patient, and accommodating of changes that we had to make throughout the process. If you get a chance, I would highly recommend visiting their store and meeting Kelly in person- it was wonderful and so inspiring! Many of our guests had been to our ceremony/reception site for previous weddings, but raved about how the decor from NECR made the site completely "new" and special. We would recommend NECR without hesitation.

I visited several different rental companies and I was not impressed with the quality of the linens at all until I found NE Country Rentals. They had actual linen! It seems silly but a lot of places call polyester linen and that was not what we were looking for at all. The linens they had (we used actual linen runners and napkins and 100% cotton table clothes) were so beautiful that even the caterers and other people working the wedding questioned where we rented them from. The girls were very easy to work with and our day would not have been as beautiful without NE Country Rentals.

I only rented a few accent pieces, but the process was seamless and super easy. They team worked with me when I switched from picking up the pieces myself to needing delivery a few days before the wedding.

There is no way I would have gone with another furniture rental company. New England Country Rentals matched our Fall/Country theme perfectly. Kelly was extremely helpful and accommodating even though I had to make several changes to my account leading up to our big day. She was also always willing to answer my many questions and was always timely in her responses. We were able to visit the showroom and see the tables and chairs in person, which was great.

The delivery men worked quickly and efficiently, they were awesome. They were punctual, took care of all the set up and break down and were even willing to help put the items into place according to our floor plan.

I love the creative items NECR has and they keep adding new items to their inventory which you won’t be able to find anywhere else, very original!!!

I used New England Country Rentals for tables and chairs, china, silverware and glassware at my recent wedding this past June (2012).

From the first moment I contacted NECR about rentals to the last interaction of paying my invoice, NECR was professional, friendly and responsive. They were able to answer any questions I had, and their excellent service instilled in me the confidence that I was making the right choice.

As if the service weren't enough, their products are even better! We rented the long farm tables and matching walnut chairs for our wedding reception, held outside under a tent. The tables were exactly what I was looking for - rustic, but polished, matching, but still each one was unique (due to variations in wood coloration and knotting/wear). The tables are so great, we didn't even use tablecloths. I also used NECR for all of our dish ware, choosing the mismatched vintage china as our dishes, and again, EXACTLY what I was looking for for my wedding. Each plate is unique, differently designed and decorated. The plates added a whimsical romance while keeping the settings casual at the same time. SO happy with the dishes.

Lastly, drop off and pick up were seamless, on time, I never even knew that NECR had come or gone! Not a peep or a problem, it was wonderful. They were respectful of the grounds as well.

I couldn't be happier with NECR or give them a higher recommendation that I am. They were wonderful on all counts, I would absolutely use them again for any large function where their products were what I needed!!!

If you are looking for a country/vintage wedding look no further. NECR has the most beautiful walnut farm tables that can seat 12 easily! We didn't need runners because we used their magnificent vintage china and white napkins. All that we needed in addition to the glasses and silverware was simple flower arrangements and lanterns. The set tables were absolutely stunning!!! There are pictures on NECR's blog. We found Kelly to be a great listener and sooooo helpful!! We needed serving plates and utensils since we were serving family style. Not a problem for her...Her showroom overlooking the harbor in Situate is worth the visit. Seeing it put into reality what we were trying to accomplish. She went out of her way to work with our planner, Alison Liset and Charlotte Hilary at the Wianno to make my daughter's wedding absolutely perfect!!! Dana Kirby

I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the service I received from New England Country Rentals. From the very beginning every effort was made to find me just the right rental pieces. I went back and forth many, many, many times on my rental list. I must have been such a pest. However, Kelly greeted my ever request with professionalism, courtesy and the utmost patience. I was so appreciative.

Just as they were packing up my rented hurricane lanterns, one broke. Not only did they replace it for me in plenty of time for my wedding, they also included an extra lantern free of charge.

NECR is truly the best in the business and it's evident that they really care passionately about what they do. Highly recommended!

Kelly Ucen was a pleasure to work with! She helped us set up the wedding tables of our dreams in her show room, and even came days before the wedding with the delivery truck to ensure that everything was set up properly and just how we wanted it. NECR was a breeze to work with. We were able to see the showroom in person and decide on what we wanted for the reception and they were super quick to get us a quote. They also of course revised this quote about 4-5 times as the guest list changed and so did our needs.

If you are looking for something that is a little different. This is the place to go! Everyone, our florist and venue staff, commented on how amazing the space looked with their wood tables and bar and of course dinnerware.

Everything truly did look amazing!

I always knew I wanted to get married in a tent in the Fall, with an “upscale rustic” look. I knew I’d have the creative license, and struggles that come with it, to start from scratch. And start from scratch we did!

About mid-way through the planning, my mom & I stumbled upon New England Country Rentals. We made the trek from Boston to Scituate one night and were completely blown away by what we saw. What started as a search for farm tables turned into the elimination of some linens, and the addition of walnut & whitewash farm tables, a handmade chuppah, high-top tables, slate chargers, wine barrels, benches even mason jars for one of our signature drinks. NECR literally took our wedding from pretty to OMG show-stopper status (yes I’m biased). My vision took on a whole new meaning.

The whitewash tables we used to fulfill my vision of a long head table for the wedding party really became the focal point of the reception. If I could purchase these tables I would (Kelly, do you sell??)

Kelly and her team were awesome to work with leading up to, and during, the wedding weekend. They arrived early to set up and the furniture was pristine. Their rental fees are reasonable and WELL worth every penny. In fact once we realized we needed an additional table and 2 benches for the head table, Kelly offered them free of charge to make sure no one would be uncomfortable. That’s just the kind of customer service they offer.

Highly recommend NECR and am looking for an event, any event, that I can rent from them again!

I cannot say enough about this company! We were at our wits end trying to furnish our ceremony until we found New England Country Rentals and saw their gorgeous selection. Through the whole process I felt as though our vision was a top priority, followed immediately by our convenience, as they delivered everything long before the guests arrived at the public park we had reserved and took them away after everyone (including us) had headed to the reception. The delivery men were personable, and it was a pleasure to work with everyone involved. On top of that, the quality of the farm benches themselves was nothing short of amazing. NECR's event rentals are one of a kind. We rented their beautiful handmade wood farmers tables, and their whitewhashed shabby chic chiavari chairs for our wedding and they were absolutely gorgeous. Kelly and her husband were so attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to be flexible with us. Set up and break down went without a hitch. The farm tables at our daughter's wedding provided the warmth and natural look that we were after. Even though we sat 260 guests, friends said they felt like they were having a personal dinner with us at our home. A natural, linen runner helped to frame the flowers and votives and pale pink linen napkins offered a soft contrast to the warm wood. The natural wood provided a nice change from typical weddings that are dripping in table cloths...Boring! We were impressed with the quality of the wood...very solid. The wine barrels looked beautiful at the bars. The tables/benches/wine barrels were dropped off and picked up on time and with a smile. The overall experience was excellent. We will send photos soon. Our story is a little different then most, I think. Our venue provided most of the "rentals" for us, but about 2 weeks before the wedding, I began a frantic search for Rattan Chargers. I knew they would add such an earthy element to our table settings. After being turned down by a couple of companies because we did not meet their "minimum" rental amount, I widened my search to out of state rental companies, which is when I contacted New England Country Rentals. Kelly emailed me back almost immediately, and without hesitation informed me that they could provide the chargers for my wedding day. She worked closely with me to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, and had them shipped several days before the wedding. Unfortunately, 3 of the chargers were somehow lost in the process of wedding cleanup. New England Country Rentals could have very easily charged me for the loss, but instead, they congratulated me on my marriage, thanked me for my business, and said not to worry about the fee this time. They went above and beyond to make me feel special.
The process couldn't have been easier, and Kelly and I sparked up a little friendship in the process. I owe her some wedding photos as soon as I get them!

We will absolutely use New England Country Rentals in the future for any events that we host.

We used New England Country Rentals for our wedding last August. The tables were beautiful- exactly what we wanted. We only did runners for them because we loved the look of the wood so much. It really gave our garden wedding just the right feel. They were also great to work with- professional and responsive. Great vendor!

These tables were exactly what we had been looking for for our wedding! They were such a hit with guests - everyone loved that they were made by hand! The runners and plate settings really complimented my center piece too. Great company to work with and i would absolutely recommend them to anyone interested in farm tables or other classy event furniture to rent.

First saw their gorgeous tables at my uncles 60th birthday and absolutely loved them. I rented some of their tables, chargers, and a few runners in late august of last summer for my wedding... great timely service with no problems or complications. They were very professional and friendly. I have recommended them to many people and expect to use their products again!

NECR is an excellent vendor with unique items. We loved the vibe our wedding had from the mason jars to the plank and wine barrel bar. The delivery was seamless and they setup just like I asked. I was happy with the product and the extremely friendly customer service, that even sent a congratulations note after :)

So easy to work with and gave a good price too. Not only were the tables beautiful, they added to the overall feel of my wedding day. Didn't have to add any fancy linens or over the top decor, just some nice white flowers, that gave for a very intimate feel.

NECR has a massive variety of anything you could need for your wedding! We rented farm tables and lace table runners that were absolutely gorgeous. Everything was delivered/picked up on time, it was super easy! I would definitely work with them again.

We ended up renting benches for our wedding from NECR last minute when our primary rental company did not have enough. Benches were beautiful and delivery/set-up were easy. Prices were quite high but the benches did look great!

We rented some chairs, a vintage couch, an arm chair, etc. from NECR. They are very responsive via telephone. I had my contact person switched several times during the process, but everyone was attentive and helpful. They are rather expensive but they are logistically very thorough. They said they'd drop off between 8am and 12pm and they came at 8:30am. I even got an email when they truck left the warehouse to tell me they were on their way! The couch ended up coming the next day but they were on time for that as well. They have a great selection and have items you can't find elsewhere but again, they are a bit pricey! Overall, the guests loved the vintage couch and sitting area. It really brought together our rustic and whimsical vibe. I would definitely use them again.

The tables I used for my wedding from NECR were so beautiful! I always wanted the farm tables with a beautiful runner and that's exactly what I got. They gave me a great discount and I was very happy with the service and communication. Just keep in mind when booking of the delivery fee which ended up being more than the tables - although somewhere closer to NECR may not be so bad. My wedding was in MD. Otherwise, beautiful tables and everything was done on time!

Although they were on the expensive side, the bar and benches we rented from NECR really made the wedding. We got married in an antique barn everyone complimented the beautiful bar. The staff was helpful, friendly, responsive, on time and professional, which is more than I can say about the tent company. If you want to add some classy country charm to your wedding, call NECR!

NECR was good at communication - emailign as soon as the item left the warehouse, when they arrived, when they were picked up. All arrived on time. They were very professional and had great options. Expensive though!

I was planning. NH wedding from the west coast and had a certain "look" in mind. NECR had EXACTLY the goods to achieve our goal of a simple country wedding! I would most definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends!

CLOSED - We worked with NECR for all of the tables, chairs, linens, arbor, silverware, dishes, etc. in our wedding and rehearsal dinner. They were great to work with, helping us make decisions and very flexible with last minute updates. Their quality and selection are so much higher than other places, and pretty reasonably priced. However, there were two bars missing from our order (thankfully our florist had two somehow!) It has been 9 months and we have not gotten a refund. They now appear to be closed (Feb 2017), with all of their phone numbers disconnected and their business listed as closed on the Better Business Bureau. Guess we're not getting that refund!

Now, you certainly can rent from this disastrous company if you wish but after reading this review, I hope you think otherwise .... IT IS NOT WORTH IT!

I have been an event planner in Boston for more than a decard and have been renting from New England Country Rentals for years. Each time it was a headache but I found myself going back thinking "this time will be different" Well NEVER AGAIN. I recently spent more than $5000 with them and it was a nightmare from minute one.
- Delivery was supposed to me MORNING. They showed up at 12:30pm, and went to lunch at 2pm with barely anything done. They came back from lunch 90 minutes later and I had to tell them twice "guys we need to get moving, we are 4 hours behind schedule" and they basically just looked at me and slowly walked to the plaza. It wasn't until nearly 5pm that they were off property, about 5 hours behind schedule. As they were enjoying lunch, I was forced to lift and place the table covers (tops of sawhorse tables) to be able to get other vendors in. I had asked them early on to do this.

- Cockroaches running around top of wine barrel.
- 2 square tables and one bar piece was so wobbly, it took over an inch of wedges under legs
- They had to go out and get replacement parts for the tap wall, yet after they left, the first 2 keg taps kept drawing in air into their lines and had to be taken out of service. Basically I wasted 2 full kegs of craft beer by not being able to serve it.
- I told them to return at 10:30pm to breakdown. Yet, without asking me or any one of my multiple managers on site, they stared to disassemble grass wall at 9:450pm with guests in room using a power drill until I had to yell at them to stop. My client came running over to me asking if they were drilling something!

I could go on but I won't, I think you get the idea. I leave the choice to you if you want this kind of stress on your day! Oh ya, and ZERO response from my numerous email to my sales rep!

Had a horrific experience with this company.

We got married at a country inn and wanted dinner to be at long communal farm tables, which is why we reached out to NECR.

When first contacting NECR (ten months before our wedding) they provided a floor plan which we based our order on and used as guidance for the rest of the space.

When verifying everything two months prior to our wedding I couldn’t get in touch with our contact, and finally called the main line— which is when I was informed that she was no longer with the company. This is extremely unprofessional, as we should have been notified of this change immediately.

Once I was put in touch with someone new, I was told the floor plan that they previously provided was completely inaccurate. In order to accommodate our guests we had to re-arrange things, which meant the flowers we had put a deposit on had to change, the seating arrangements we had finalized had to be adjusted, etc. etc.

My fiancé and I were forced to revisit everything we had arranged only a few weeks before the wedding which caused enormous amounts of stress, anxiety and frustration.

The worst part was that NECR was utterly unapologetic. They did not take any responsibility for their actions and did not offer any form of consolation for their disorganization and lack of communication.

This is extremely unfortunate, as their items and inventory are beautiful—but their rude and unaccommodating attitude makes them an unreliable company to work with.

As a consumer, seeking quality customer service, stay far away and avoid this company at all costs.

We have had a terrible experience with this company. To start, they charged us in full prior to our event and over half of our order did not arrive for our wedding in May of 2016. I've been trying to get a refund for the amount that we didn't receive and they will not speak with me on the phone and have yet to return my email. Secondly, they charged my credit card for over $2400 randomly in November and will not reply about this charge either. Customer service will not let me speak to a manager and it has been the most unpleasant experience dealing with this company. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I am still shocked as I write this. NECR is one of the most horribly run, passive-aggressive companies who puts the customer LAST, lack the character to admit a mistake and the know-how to properly resolve an issue. We've been harassed recently for a $150 balance from an event 2 years ago that we spent several thousand dollars on. My wife's cell phone was sent to a ruthless bill collector in Texas. 2 weeks after NECR agreed we do not owe any money, we are still harassed daily by Skyler from Texas and NECR has shown the least bit of urgency take the bull by the horn and resolve in a timely matter. The owner, Kelly, finally called me back today after a 3 week issue, and despite THEIR mix-up, said that if I leave a bad review on Yelp, The Knot or any other threads, I will then still owe her a $150! Unfortunately for her, I have an email, V.M. and was told on the phone that we absolutely do not owe the $150 and it is no longer our issue. There is a legal word that describes her threat: It is called extortion.

We had quite a bit of difficulty the day of wedding this past June, as the furniture delivery did not arrive on time. In fact, the delivery arrived after our ceremony had ended while all of our guests filled the tented courtyard where the bar, decorations, desert platters, stand-up tables, and furniture set was supposed to be. We ended up accepting only part of the delivery because we had already contacted another rental company who was able to deliver tables on the same day to accommodate our needs. Our contract stated that delivery would be made between 10 - 1. At 1:30 our wedding planner, venue and caterer started calling NECR with no luck. They left multiple messages with no returned call. After over an hour they finally spoke with a woman who explained that the call was routed to her cell phone and that she was at the grocery store, after hearing the issues she told them “I don’t have time for this right now” and hung up the phone. Around 3pm, only 1 hour before the start of our ceremony, our caterer was finally able to speak with a representative at NECR. Your company informed us that the delivery had been made and was confirmed. After arguing with the representative on the phone trying to explain that the delivery had not arrived, our caterer gave up and called the local rental company that she knew. They were able to deliver tables on short notice to accommodate our needs. Since the day of the wedding we have not heard back from anyone at NECR outside of an automated e-mail and a sales manager that had nothing to do with our order. She recommended reaching out the CEO Kelley but we still have not heard back from them. We have left at least 15 voicemails and countless emails. Again, it is disappointing that over a month since the wedding has passed and no one has reached out to us to discuss and rectify the situation. We would have expected at least an apology, but have gotten nothing, because of that NECR is no longer welcome at the venue.

Absolutely HORRIFIC!!! I recommend staying far away from this company, now known as Vim + Vigor.

I have been in the events industry for almost a decade and have never experienced anything like this. If it weren't for all of my other amazing vendors picking up their slack, they would have ruined my wedding. A few highlights below:

- They came 5 hours late to set up. We had to keep guests outside so they could finish screwing in a hedge wall.

- Half of the items were either broken and unusable or not what we were sold when we booked with them. (The ALTAR was broken...)

- 3 weeks before the wedding we were told that items we had on hold since December were given to someone else (the only reason I even found out was because I called THEM to confirm we were all set for the wedding day.)

- Some of their items were not set up properly so they posed hazards for guests (i.e. unstable items that were leaning/falling over) We had to have them come back to fix it, but they were very hard to get a hold of and reluctantly came.

- To fix the broken items, they needed to screw them together with a power tool DURING the reception while we were eating. (We did an impromptu dance set with really loud music to drown out the sound....)

- We paid them extra to do a same-night pick-up. They refused to come that night even though we paid them. The venue charges an additional $2,000 per day for items left overnight (and they were well-aware of this) but they didn't come to move it.

- They LIED and said they had the necessary fire permits for our altar decor, but when I went to the rehearsal I found out they still hadn't gotten it. The only reason we ended up getting the permit was because we called them and insisted they do it.

- Customer service was absolutely terrible. They don't hold themselves accountable for their own mistakes.

Please learn from our experience and stay away from them!

Worst company ever. DO NOT USE!
I have booked them Jan 2017, my wedding was in August. Paid them in full thousands of dollars.
Based on my contract they were supposed to deliver my chairs, tables and other decoration around 9 am the morning of the wedding. They did not arrive until 6 pm, when my guests were arriving.
We called them numerous times during the day, but received no answer. When I finally got an answer around 5.30 pm, the receptionist hanged up on me stating that I should not raise my voice on her. (Because, you know, every bride would be calm when she has no chairs or tables for the guests half an hour before they are scheduled to arrive. And God forbid, she should apologize to the bride for such stress).
We were not able to use anything we rented for the ceremony as our guests were already in the room.
We have not received a refund for the item or even an apology from the company.

I am a sales rep / catering director for a NYC Catering Company. Working and communicating with NECR has been incredibly difficult and I would not recommend for anyone to use this company. There have been issues with lack of payment due to us, for extended periods of time, and NECR's method of dealing with this issue is to ignore and avoid communication. We used their services for some large scale events twice in NYC. There were issues at both events but we gave them a 2nd chance as we thought their equipment would be ideal for the look of the 2nd event. The 2nd event required many custom products that were made for food service and these items showed up unfinished and unable to be used. In addition the pick up of the equipment was over 14 hours late causing much turmoil. I will not be using or recommending this company again.
