My husband and I are both aerospace engineers, so when we realized that the New England Air Museum could be rented for weddings, it was a pretty easy decision for us to make. The museum itself is amazing, and a totally unique backdrop for a wedding reception. The planes make for incredible pictures and reflections, and the huge space can accommodate a large group without feeling crowded. We were lucky enough to book the museum shortly after they hired a new event coordinator, who is amazing and was willing to work with us on every little detail from hangar lighting to table placement to having the flight simulator running for our guests ( SO AWESOME!). Michelle is incredible and responsive and so kind; she was so easy to work with and really made the venue exactly what we wanted for the day. And the volunteers: the volunteers at the air museum are amazing on any given day, but when they saw that we had a crowd full of engineers and plane nerds, they went above and beyond to make the experience incredible for everyone. They gave guests background and stories on the planes, they opened cockpits so people could take pictures, and they gave advice to people trying out the simulator. They really helped the museum shine and we are so grateful that they gave up their Saturday nights to make our wedding amazing! Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend the air museum as a wedding venue to anyone, but especially to those looking for something a little out of the box and extremely memorable! -

Incredible venue! Staff was supportive through the entire process, from the planning to the day. Incredibly accommodating with volunteers, and provided excellent recommendations for lighting and all vendors. All guests have said it is by far the coolest venue they've ever been to. -

Ultimate Unique and Fun Venue
We had an amazing wedding experience at New England Air Museum and couldn’t have been happier with how our wedding turned out! Our guests all had a wonderful time and are still talking about it! Everyone was in awe and believe how cool and different the experience was. Our guests really enjoyed being able to sit in all the planes and helicopters and learn about the exhibits from the volunteers.
Michelle and her team were absolutely incredible! She made the planning experience so straight forward and easy. She was on top of everything leading up to and during the wedding. Knowing that she had everything handled really allowed us to enjoy the day and not worry about a thing. Additionally, the many volunteers were so welcoming and kind to all our guests. Many of the guests really enjoyed learning about all the insight and history the volunteers had to offer.
The catering team and food were perfect and just like the tasting. The museum offers a list of preferred vendors and we highly recommend utilizing the preferred lighting vendor. The additional uplighting for the reception hangar really transformed the space and turned it from a hangar museum into a true wedding space.
5 stars all around for the museum, catering, vendors, volunteers and, especially, Michelle. We highly recommended NEAM for any couple looking for a unique, fun and memorable wedding! -

Pick This One!!
Michelle and her team were top notch from day one. I suggested this venue as a joke to my now husband because our first date was to another air museum, but Michelle’s tour sold us. We walked out of the museum knowing that’s where we would get married.
The venue’s uniqueness gave immediate entertainment value. We did not ever think our guests would be bored between all of the fun information around and the museum staff available (AT THE WEDDING!!!) giving even more. There were so many volunteers there! The flight simulator was also a hit.
We also felt we didn’t have to decorate much but Michelle handled the few things we wanted around (centerpieces, tables) to make the space our own. It was beautiful. Plus her list of (recommended but not required) vendors were amazing. We hired a lighting, DJ, and catering all off that list and were exceptionally happy (especially the food!!!!)
Michelle also handled the day of stuff, guiding and pointing us the right direction. We had a meeting a few weeks prior to make sure everything we wanted was memorialized and it was so flexible. It made the day that much easier to not think about any of the little stuff.
5 stars are absolutely not enough for the museum and Michelle (and her team). If you are looking for a one stop venue, this is your place. -

We got married at the New England Air Museum on June 1, 2024, with a Bridgerton meets Peaky Blinders theme, and it was an absolute dream! This venue is truly a masterpiece—a stunning blend of history, drama, and unique charm that created the perfect setting for our one-of-a-kind celebration.
The volunteers were phenomenal! They were knowledgeable, engaging, and added such a special touch by sharing fascinating aviation stories with our guests. They even allowed us to step inside some of the planes for unforgettable photos—our guests are still talking about how incredible that experience was!
The venue’s layout is perfect for a multi-layered event. We were able to section off different parts of our wedding in separate rooms, giving each phase of the evening its own unique vibe. From a romantic ceremony space to an atmospheric reception surrounded by historic planes, the flow kept our guests excited and engaged all night long.
Michelle and her team were extraordinary! They went above and beyond, helping us every step of the way with enthusiasm and expertise. Their vendor recommendations were spot on—we didn’t have to spend endless hours searching, which was a huge relief.
What stood out most was how flexible they were with our ideas, even when we requested custom setups like creative lighting and a unique stage arrangement for our band. They truly embraced our vision and worked tirelessly to make it a reality.
Not only is the venue visually stunning and filled with historical character, but it’s also surprisingly affordable. They were incredibly accommodating with timing and provided all the necessary amenities, making the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s anything but ordinary, the New England Air Museum delivers in every way imaginable. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical, memorable place to celebrate our special day! -

Our wedding at the New England Air Museum was nothing short of a dream come true! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely incredible. I honestly wish we could relive that magical day every single weekend – that's how amazing it was!
Planning was a breeze, thanks to our phenomenal Event Planner, Michelle. She took care of every little detail, making the whole process feel effortless. Michelle's expertise and dedication were evident in every aspect of our wedding, and we couldn't have done it without her. She made our special day beyond special!!
The venue itself is truly one-of-a-kind. If you want a wedding that's cool, unique, and will have your guests talking for years, this is the place. The backdrop of historic aircrafts made for stunning photos and an unforgettable atmosphere. It has been a month since the wedding and I still have people messaging me about how unbelievable the venue was and how amazing the food was as well!!
I can't recommend the New England Air Museum enough for anyone looking to have the most extraordinary and memorable wedding. Trust me, you won't find a more unique or perfect setting for your special day! -

We had the PERFECT wedding at the Newington England Air Museum!! I seriously could not recommend this venue or their coordinator Michelle more. If you are looking for a memorable + different wedding venue that your guests will RAVE about - look no further! We aren’t military or plane enthusiasts (although maybe we are now!) but you don’t have to be to get married here. From our initial tour, we knew we found our venue! We got the entire museum - so being able to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception in 3 different hangars was incredible. We used the museums recommended lighting and caterers - CJC and Latitude and were so impressed. The uplighting was so beautiful and our guests continue to rave about how good the food was. Michelle was the absolute best to work with throughout the entire process. She was always available and organized and really cared so much that we were taken care of at all times and happy. Truly the best wedding day ever and I wish I could relive it over and over again! I would recommend NEAM to any couple - you will not be disappointed!! -

Amazing Wedding at the New England Air Museum
We got married at the NEAM in early October, and we had an amazing experience. The venue is so unique, and our guests were really blown away by the entire evening. My husband and I are still glowing with excitement, and we have gotten so many compliments on the wedding. The evening wouldn’t have been a success if it wasn’t for Michelle, Tianna, and the team at the museum. For anyone considering the NEAM, make sure you use Michelle as your day of planner because her attention to detail in the lead up to the wedding will leave you feeling at ease in what could be a very stressful time. We would also highly encourage using people on their list of recommended vendors because they have been vetted and know the team at the venue. The entire planning process was made so easy with the NEAM team, and we wouldn’t have done anything differently.
If you’re in conversations about table layouts, trust Michelle on the mix of table shapes and seat numbers, she has a precise eye for what makes for the best experience for your guests. Everyone at NEAM does an excellent job and you cannot go wrong choosing this place to say your I Do’s.

We were told multiple times throughout the night and the following days that this was the wedding to compare all other weddings to.
Michelle and her team went above and beyond from the start. The ceremony was arranged beautifully. The cocktail hour was so much fun, as everyone got to start looking at the aircraft and speaking to the incredibly knowledgeable volunteers. The main hanger and reception looked stunning.
I highly recommend using the vendors Michelle suggests. They did a wonderful job. The planning was so easy, since they all knew exactly what they were doing and had just as much passion about the venue as Michelle and the volunteers.
We had a great dance floor, we had an entire museum to explore, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The only complaint I got was there was not enough time to see everything at the museum, and everyone is excited to visit again to see what they missed! The kids also had a lot of fun, and some may even be going to the summer children's program after their experience talking to the volunteers.
I absolutely recommend the New England Air Museum for your wedding venue. We could not have dreamed of a better wedding if we tried! -

The New England Air Museum is extraordinary in every way! Our guests have not stopped talking about how fun and unique our wedding venue was. When my husband and I toured the museum as a possible venue we got the goosebumps and knew there was no other place. What other venue gives you life-sized aircraft to dine and dance among?! Our pictures show our guests literally with their jaws dropped as they walked into the main hangar of the museum for dinner. They spent the rest of the night posing for pictures inside the aircraft. And the staff. The staff, especially Michelle, is absolute perfection! Michelle was so kind and incredibly attentive making sure every dream of ours came true. The night of the event, museum docents are on hand to talk to your guests about the history of the aircraft. Our guests loved that as they were climbing in and out of the planes. The docents helped to create an immersive experience. I promise you will have a wedding like no other at the New England Air Museum -

Best Venue Ever!
My husband and I got married here May 5th 2023, and it was the best and absolute coolest venue ever! Our guests raved about how much fun they had and told us it was the best wedding ever (they’re not wrong). The venue is so unique and allowed guests to explore the museum and go in several of the planes, as well as use the flight simulators. We were able to utilize the whole museum for our wedding, from the ceremony in the B-29 hangar, cocktail hour in civil hangar, and our reception in the military hangar. Michelle and the staff were more than accommodating and allowed us to utilize the storage hangar to get our first look in front of the F-14. Which brings me to my next point, aside from the incredible venue, Michelle is AMAZING. Hands down best coordinator ever, she worked with us closely to make sure everything was as easy as possible leading up to the wedding. From the rehearsal to the day of, Michelle made sure everything was exactly how we wanted and made every attempt to make our big day stress free and perfect. Honestly, 25/10 would recommend. We would also highly recommend hiring CJC Event Lighting as he completely transformed the reception area, the lighting makes all the difference. If you’re looking for the coolest, most unique wedding venue, look no further. Photographers Mermaids Reel. -

Looking for an incredible crowd pleasing venue? Look no further! Michelle was an absolute joy to work with through out the process. She provided the perfect amount of guidance while letting us convey our vision. The vendors she recommended were great to work with and the over all planning process was made simple. The day of was better than we could have dreamed and everyone at the Museum educated our guests, shared their passion, and made it so very special. You don't have to be an aviation nerd to have a blast at this interactive and history filled venue. We've already been back to visit since our wedding in September. -

One-of-a-kind celebration with amazing service!
We celebrated our son's Sangeet ceremony at NEAM in July of 2023 and it counted for a truly unique experience. The event coordinator Michelle Salamone and her team are truly amazing people professionally & personally. They did everything in their power to make our experience amazing! Our guests are raving about the event even after a few months and for our family the celebration at NEAM has created a lifetime memory. -

Our wedding is still being talked about nearly 2 years later! We had a beautiful reception with a fun and engaging atmosphere. All the staff and volunteers made the museum such an experience for all our wedding guests. From sitting in the various exhibits to dancing under plane wings, we could not have imagined a more enchanting evening. Their recommended vendors went above and beyond. We were able to make the museum our own space to fit our desired look. We could not have asked for a better wedding reception!
