New City Florist did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding florals. From the bouquets to the boutonnieres, the sweetheart table, cake, guest tables and wedding arch. They didn't miss a beat! Because we live out of state and I was planning our wedding in NJ, we met with Rene in person only once after a few email correspondences. We had our wedding in October and I described my vision of what I wanted everything to look like. And when I tell you, the day of our wedding when the florals were delivered and set up...I was in love! It was exactly what I had imagined to a tee. Thank you guys for an amazing day! Even the Venue, Crystal Springs, was telling me that those bouquets and arches have been a favorite of theirs!

Working with Rene and his team was an absolute dream. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond to bring our vision to life and make our wedding day more beautiful than we ever imagined. The attention to detail Rene and his staff put into every single arrangement was incredible.
On the day of our wedding, everything was flawless. From the ceremony space to cocktail hour to the reception room, each area was set up so beautifully and seamlessly transitioned throughout the night. Our guests could not stop commenting on how stunning the flowers were, and we were blown away seeing it all come together.

Rene (the owner) was a pleasure to work with! He made the process of choosing florals easy and fun. I was beyond ecstatic when the florals were delivered to my home the morning of the wedding, the bridesmaids bouquets were so large and full! I loved my flowers!
New City florist is a fantastic find! Communicative, straightforward, reasonable and most of all talented. If you get the opportunity to work with Rene, I promise you will not be disappointed. I had New City do our wedding florals this past summer and I am so thankful that we chose them. They did a phenomenal job on the centerpieces- creating an elegant and simple design that complimented the room. But, the wedding party and my bouquet is where they knocked it out of the park. My wedding bouquet was cascading orchids and absolutely stunning! On my wedding morning, when my flowers were delivered, I cried happy tears. Rene did exactly what I wanted, but it was even better than I had dreamed of. All of the bridal party also loved their arrangements.

I would recommend New City Florist 1000x over and over! This was one of the EASIEST vendors to work with! Rene was truly a gem and he assisted every step of the way! I am not familiar with florals but I knew I wanted to highlight the venue with stunning tall centerpieces, arbor decor ect! Rene helped with just that! He knew which flowers to use for my wedding! The bouquets were absolutely beautiful! We received so many compliments on the Florals! (Trust me -Everyone noticed them) . I can’t get over how gorgeous the sweetheart table turned out! Don't stress about flowers. Rene and his team will make this one aspect of your wedding as seamless and easy as it can be. Rene is super responsive and incredibly flexible, working with you up to the last minute on any issues that may arise. He can acomodate practically anything you can think of and will make all of your requests come true as efficiently as possible. Additionally, we found out that lighting was not included in our wedding venue package 2 weeks prior to our date, and Rene and team saved the day by setting up our lighting requests as well. They were the perfect vendor addition to our team.

I came across New City Florist on Wedding Wire and decided to reach out to them. I made an appointment and met with Rene, and he was the nicest person. He had examples of flowers and had such great knowledge of what flowers would be best for my time of year and my color palette. He took down all my ideas and my vision of what I wanted and perfectly got exactly what I was looking for. Everything from the colors, to the arrangements, to even the time of delivery for the flowers was absolutely perfect. I would recommend Rene and his team to every Bride!

Amazing florist!
We worked with Rene at New City Florist. He was amazing to work with. He was very professional and communicative throughout the entire planning process and answered any and all questions we had. He had a lot of great suggestions and photos to show us that helped us to make our decisions on what we wanted and how we wanted everything to look. Rene even met with us a week or two before the wedding over Zoom to show us samples of our centerpieces. The flowers he used were absolutely beautiful and the arch, the bouquets, the flowers going down the aisle, and the piece on our sweetheart table were gorgeous. So many people commented on our beautiful flowers. We would 100% recommend!

Affordable Elegance with a Courteous Professional
Rene is very professional, extremely polite, and so easy to work with! The centerpieces were so elegant and simple…perfect for me. Rene listened and delivered exactly what I asked for. He is very knowledgeable, so when we discussed my vision, he gave his advice, and the end result was perfection!
Our guests remarked how stunning everything looked at my venue the day of my wedding! A true winter wonderland without it being too much!
I am also extremely pleased with the pricing, as well as the set up and breakdown services. Rene is not only professional, but veryyyy calming too, which is important, especially as your wedding day approaches!
When I gave him my final numbers, with some last minute changes, he happily obliged and took care of EVERYTHING! I did not have to stress about anything because I knew my bouquets, church floral arrangements, and table centerpieces were in very capable hands. You won't be disappointed with this florist!
Rene, we cannot thank you enough for your expertise and responsiveness to all our concerns when my wedding was postponed for a whole year during the pandemic; and when my wedding day finally arrived (still with pandemic issues), you continued to confirm what I already knew: you would provide beautiful and lasting memories for my special day!!!
Bottom Line: Rene is VERY professional, VERY polite, VERY courteous, and REALLY listens to the bride’s vision! VERY affordable, while managing to create beauty and elegance—without skimping on the final presentation!!!

Incredibly classy arrangements for a fall NYC wedding
Rene and his team were a pleasure to work with for our NYC wedding. New City Florist hit the nail on the head when we asked for an autumnal (but not cliché) color palette. He incorporated blue thistle and golden yellow bursts with lots of lush greenery in our chuppah and centerpieces. Really, the flowers remain one of the major highlights from our wedding. Simply gorgeous.

Rene was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. He was very responsive and made any adjustments that I had requested. New City Florist offers very reasonable pricing, especially for the area, and made our wedding even more beautiful. Everything was delivered on time and exactly as expected. My grandmother kept a rose from the centerpieces and it is still alive 2 1/2 weeks later, you read the correctly, a rose living long than a week. Very happy customer and I would recommend to anyone.

I cannot thank Rene and his team enough for their hard work. When I first met with Rene, I could not get over how friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful he was. He shows you a bunch of options and photos and really helps you outline your vision. He is flexible if you change something and does not push you to add things that you do not want for the sake of increasing the price. He is very professional and will send you an updated contract form within minutes after you meet with him. His team is friendly and efficient in setting up on the wedding day.
They also did the flowers for my shower and people could not believe how long the centerpieces lasted after they took them home.
Working him was an absolute pleasure and I would recommend him to anyone looking to plan an event.

New City was one of the first vendors we booked as they did an amazing job for my sisters wedding back in 2017. Being that we were getting married outside of Rockland County, we did look at a few vendors local to our venue and none of them compared. Even with the traveling fee it was still well below other quotes. Being a covid bride - many things were up in the air and we were making changes to our contract up to two weeks before the date. Renee and the team were flexible, understanding and helped streamline our vision showing us what would work and what might not. Sometimes things look beautiful on pinterest but in reality do not work as well being the season. I also used New City for my bridal shower and had an equally amazing experience. I can't stress enough, there is no need to look else where. We'll be using New City for all our events in the future!

Rene and Tulla were perfect to work with. I know absolutely NOTHING about flowers except that they look pretty. Honestly, not a flower person at all...receiving them is not on my top list of gifts to get (just being honest). To say all of this, I sat down initially with Rene and he was oh so helpful. Everything would have been in the color white if it were up to me. I didn't want anything crazy because again, I'm not a flower person. Him and my maid of honor helped me pick flowers and colors to match my color scheme that were so elegant and so simple but yet perfect for me. I went back and saw a sample center piece with Tulla and was in awe at how stunning and perfect it was. Seeing everything at my venue the day of my wedding...OUTSTANDING!!! I am so pleased with the pricing as well as the services of set up and breakdown (delivery and pick up). Very professional...once I gave them my final numbers they took care of EVERYTHING! perfect florist for a wedding!
We were so nervous about finding the right florist for our wedding. We had been quoted such outrageous prices from certain florists and it kind of made us nervous. Then we found New City Florist. The prices were so reasonable, and the arrangements were WELL worth it. All of our florals came out perfect and exactly how we had envisioned it. Beyond Our Expectations
Due to the pandemic, my husband and I ended up having a small, micro wedding. After having a virtual consultation with the florist, we ended up choosing our color scheme and flowers. I initially wasn't sure what the outcome of the bouquet and arrangements would be. But when the flowers arrived, it exceeded our expectations. Amazing experience
Hiring New City florist was the best choice my Husband and I could make. Everyone rave how amazing the decor was doe the ceremony and reception. They went over and beyond and their communication was impeccable. Everything was executed in a timely manner. Tulla and the team was amazing.

GORGEOUS flowers, above and beyond perfection
Rene and his team did an INCREDIBLE job with our wedding flowers!! He knew exactly what we were looking for and really focused on the details to make our day look perfect. The communication was fantastic - they were super responsive even to last minute requests. The flowers and decoration came out so much more beautiful than I even imagined, and they were really able to create some unique bouquets and centerpieces. The price was also really reasonable! Rene is so genuine, helpful, and has a great eye, we wouldn’t have worked with anyone else! I don’t have all our photos in yet so unfortunately can’t post everything, I can’t wait to show off how beautiful everything looked!

Amazing !!!
My flowers turned out so beautiful on my wedding day. Tulla was so incredible during the planning process. I must have changed my mind about which flowers I wanted about 100 times. She was so patient and easy to work with and truly listened to what I wanted. If you need a florist for your big day- use New City!

Wedding Flowers
Not only did New City Florist do an amazing job, they were extremely flexible and responsive when it came to the many moving pieces of planning a wedding during COVID! We had a lot of changes from our original proposal including a new date and changing number of center pieces and bouquets. We also ended up having our reception in a different area of our venue due to restrictions and they were able to make beautiful pieces to hang from the chandeliers that completely transformed the barn into a fairytale.

Best florist ever!!!
We hired new city florist back in 2018 way before the pandemic... we had to move our wedding to a different date now being in a different season, changing our floral arrangements countless times. Tulla was so patient and helpful during this entire process and everything came out so beautiful!!! Work with them, you won’t regret it!!!

Amazing Florist
New City Florist was a pleasure to work with. At our first meeting Rene went over everything with us and listened to the needs we had. Tulla worked with me to confirm everything and went over all of the little details. The day of the wedding the flowers arrived early and were more beautiful than I thought! All of our guests and even the banquet manager commented on them. The sweetheart table blew us away! I highly recommend!

The most amazing florist!
I had the most amazing experience working with both Tulla and Rene for my wedding. I’m not even sure where to begin because it was a journey (in a good way) My wedding was canceled 3 times and they were so incredible with handling and accommodating the venue/date changes. I assure you that not all companies have been helpful to couples getting married during Covid but New City Florist were just simply the best! Now getting to the flowers - I am still blown away by how they made my vision come to life. Every detail was perfection and my flowers are still alive! (I was married October 3rd) it’s so wonderful how I am still able to enjoy the beautiful arrangements they made for me. The freshness and quality is unlike I have ever seen! I could go on forever about how this company is amazing in every single way. Not only are the flowers perfection but everyone who works at New City Florist is just amazing! They deserve all the business and I can’t wait to use them again for another occasion.

AMAZING!! New city florist is the best!!
New City Florist was the best!! I literally went in there clueless and Rene spent so much time with me and helped me figure out what I wanted. I even changed my mind over 3 times and each time was super nice, helpful, and accommodating. The flowers came out amazing and I received so many compliments about them! He also did the decorations for my aisle which were amazing and beautiful!! I would definitely recommend him to anyone!!

Amazing work and Products
I spoke to Rene to customize by flower arrangements and he customized my quote based on what i wanted and the actual products looked exactly how i envisioned them but better ! Tulla stayed in contact with me throughout the process and she made sure everything was as i wanted it! The price for everything i needed was also within the budget i had ! My Bridal Bouquet was more than I could have asked for !

Gorgeous Floral Arrangements!
Tulla and her crew were amazing! From the conception of we wanted our wedding to look like to the completion. The attention to detail was like no other and the venue looked like a fairy tale wedding. We couldn't be happier!! I truly think they helped to make our wedding day more special by listening and going above and beyond our expectations.

Beautiful Flowers and Great Customer Service
I chose New City Florist after visiting a florist that was way over priced and pushy. Working with Rene was like a breath of fresh air. He is friendly, personable, laid back, patient, not pushy, efficient and gives attention to detail. Price was also very reasonable. After our first meeting I knew I had to book with Rene and New City Florist. I didn’t have much prior knowledge regarding flowers and wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted just that I wanted the flowers to be simple and elegant. Rene was so patient and spent time with my mom and I trying to figure out the look I wanted. On the day of the wedding I was so happy with the flowers and the centerpieces were amazing! It was all so elegant and exactly as we discussed. I can’t thank Rene and the team at New City Florist enough for their help and making this part of wedding planning simple and stress free!

Stunning flowers!
Such a great experience. We met with Tulla originally and she was phenomenal. Great at listening to our vision and helping to make it a reality. Made great suggestions and gave us a good price. When the flowers arrived on the day of, we were blown away. They were gorgeous. So simple and so elegant. I still can’t get over how beautiful they were. Very very highly recommend them!

Rene is the best! It was a true pleasure and breeze to work with him. He was by far the easiest and sweetest vendor to work with. He worked with our budget and created absolutely beautiful flower master pieces and beyond for our wedding. My bouquet was gorgeous, and so were all my bridesmaids flowers. We wanted a soft, whimsical vibe for our ballroom, and Rene took our vision and made it come alive beyond our wildest dreams. He truly is the best and such a pleasure to work with!! I have been in contact with Rene for the year leading up to our wedding day and now that the wedding is over, I will miss him dearly. New City Florist is the best and you will feel very lucky when you book them for your wedding!
