Sten is the GOAT

First of all, it was this man’s birthday and he was still there for us. I’m not a really photogenic person. But there were several pictures of myself that I liked! I mean, there were definitely some I didn’t like but that’s my face’s fault not Sten’s lol. He was able to coach me into pictures so well. The QUALITY of the pictures is beyond amazing. And his second shooter, Glen, did an amazing job as well. Props to the NCP team. Literally the second I found them on wedding wire I knewwww we had to have them and I’m so glad we did

Amazing experience!

We hired New Chapters Photography for our recent September 2022 wedding. Sten was extremely easy to communicate with and made us feel comfortable throughout the hiring, planning, and editing process. Priscilla was our primary photographer for both our engagement and wedding photos. Priscilla had such a warm, bubbly personality that was contagious. She helped us feel relaxed and happy in our photos, which was really important to me–I wanted photos that looked authentic and candid, not overly posed or stuffy. Priscilla really helped us achieve that vision. I am in love with all the photos she took and Sten’s editing work. They are both experts of their crafts. I can’t recommend New Chapters enough for your photography needs!

Pick this vendor - you won't regret it!

Yoko and Sten were great! We had such a good time with Yoko (and Josh) at our wedding at Juniata Valley Winery in Mifflin, PA. Yoko and Josh were attentive during our big day and worked so well with our videographer to help capture all our special moments. Sten did an amazing job editing our photos - our friends and family love them! We would 100% recommend this company to anyone we know getting married.

When we contacted New Chapters, we were put in the hands of Yoko. We were very set in what we wanted: no typical posed pictures, no first look; none of that. This was a wedding joining an Amercian and Spaniard and in no way typical! From the very beginning, Yoko "got it"! When she did engagement photos at Mt Gretna, we knew we made the right choice! She knew the connection to the outdoors and adventure and fun! She was everyplace on our actual event day and we cannot wait to see the pictures. We know they will be perfect!!!!

A joy to work with!!!

Planning a 2020 wedding was definitely a challenge but working with New Chapters was a breath of fresh air! They were so accommodating and went out of their way to make things easier for us. When we had to make changes to our plans, they were flexible and accommodating. Sten and Yoko are so kind and unbelievably talented. Will definitely use them again for photos in the future and would HIGHLY recommend New Chapter for any wedding or event!

One of our Best Wedding Decisions!

Priscilla and Yoko were the dream team photographers for our wedding! I'm so thankful for them! They were creative, calm, and kept us on track. They even pinned a part of my dress in place during the reception, which saved the day :). They were fabulous!!!

Jeff is incredibly talented and wonderful to work with!! Not only is he fun, cool, and awesome - Jeff is professional and you can trust that he will deliver the most beautiful pictures of your wedding day. We truly have pictures that capture the people we love the most, and are also beautiful pieces of art. I am so excited to display the photographs everywhere in our home. We will cherish these forever. The pictures we have shared so far with family and friends have gotten SO many compliments and people have told us how they have never seen pictures like this! Everyone is asking us to see more and they would love copies. In addition to the photographs, Jeff was proactive with scheduling his own details of our wedding day, and even gave me other wedding planning tips. New Chapters Photography is a preferred vendor at the venue where my now husband and I were married. We met with several photographers before deciding to work with Sten at New Chapters Photography: we felt like we could really trust him and we loved the samples of his work that we had seen. Sten drove to DC for our sunrise engagement shoot – he cued us in ways that made us laugh very naturally and just feel at ease, and it really showed in our pictures. At our wedding, he was able to timely coordinate group photos with ~40 people between our immediate family and bridal party, and still have plenty of time for a session with just my husband and myself. We received our engagement pictures and wedding pictures timely and we’re in love with all of them! We also rented a photo booth from New Chapters Photography and our guests LOVED it: between the live photographer, the fun props, and the black and white 4x6 prints guests received immediately, it was a huge hit - and we love having digital copies of all the fun pictures everyone took!

Jen was the photographer for both our engagement and wedding photos. Working with her was so easy and effortless. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and directed us how to pose. She was also really sweet and easy to get a long with and talk to. Behind the scenes working and communicating with Jeff was amazing. He is also easy to work with and very accommodating. Both Jeff and Jen took away some of the stress that comes along with wedding planning. Not to mention our pictures turned out amazing!!!!!! I would highly recommend using them!!

To anyone out there in the Harrisburg area, you MUST contact Jeff. I literally cannot find the words to describe how thankful, amazed, blown away, pleased, etc, etc, I am with Jeff. It's obvious to say his photos are phenomenal but he also made my husband comfortable in front of the camera. Jeff would guide us with how he wanted the picture but he wouldn't position us so we could be ourselves and do what is natural for us. It misted during our engagement shoot and I wanted to proceed with the shoot and Jeff still blew me away with our photos. Fast forward to the wedding photos and I am literally struggling to find which photo(s) I want to use around the house. Hands down, getting a good photographer is the most important investment and if you want the BEST, call Jeff Benzon.

We cannot say enough great things about Sten! He was extremely easy to work with, made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process, (as my husband does not enjoy getting his picture taken and had no problem with Sten taking our engagement pictures for over an hour), and worked around our schedules to coordinate the engagement shoot since we lived out of state. He has an eye for special moments and his final products become iconic snapshots of memories. He is extremely talented in his editing, likes to experience with fun and different lighting, and a joy to be around. Along with Sten, Priscilla was also a delight to work with—they were both professional, organized, and overall great people. You will not regret booking them as your wedding photographers! We are so grateful we did and cannot wait to use their services for future life events!

Many of my close friends and family commented that I was a very calm bride, but how couldn't I be with such an amazing, friendly, energetic, goofy, and talented photography crew? Jeff and Yoko were quick and radiated positive energy all day long (even for a hot July day)! Jeff was so fun and made us feel relaxed at our engagement photo shoot. We love and will forever cherish our wedding photos. Our family and friends were blown away by their talent and creativity! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Jeff is the ABSOLUTE best!!! I soon as I looked through his blog and website the first time, I knew he was the only photographer I wanted for our big day! Jeff was so easy to work with, schedule calls with, and extremely responsive to emails. Our engagement shoot was seamless - he made us feel at ease and trekked around Baltimore City with us to capture all the spots we wanted. On our wedding day, Jeff met me and my girls at my parents' and his assistant spent the morning with my groom and the guys. The timeline for the day - with Jeff's help - was perfect and everything went exactly as planned. Jeff captured shots of every detail I spent months planning, and he obviously captured every special kiss, dance, and the most epic cake smash. My husband and I spent hours looking over each shot once we got them back and reminiscing over the best of days! We would recommend Jeff to anyone. He will give you pictures to truly treasure forever!!

Hands down, Jeff has to be the most amazing vendor I have ever encountered. His work ethics, professionalism and sense of humor were outstanding and played a major role throughout the wedding. WOW! All I can say are fantastic things about Jeff and his team of photographers for my wedding photos. I chose Jeff and his team through a referral and I could not have been happier with the service, professionalism, advice and accommodations from everyone that I worked with. Jeff is a truly nice guy - he wants for each couple to get exactly what they want and gives advice when asked to make it better. He responded quickly through emails and worked late to take after work phone calls. I chose to work with Yoko, a member of Jeff's photographer team, for both our engagement and wedding photos. She is awesome! She let my fiancé and I get comfortable in front of the camera and also allowed us to pick some poses and settings that worked for us. During my wedding, she showed up early with her 2nd photographer, Sam, to "case" the reception area and I am pretty sure both stayed later then expected to get some nighttime shots. Sam was in charge of photos of the groom and groomsmen and my husband was VERY happy with how he worked with them. We are so looking forward to seeing our wedding photos! Sten and Priscilla are so fun to work with!

Getting in touch with them was always easy, even when Sten was on vacation he always responded to us.
Everything from a photo survey to payment is all done online (he sends you the links through email).
You can add extra hours of service (we started with 8 but then added more to have them for 12 hours.)
They take about 5,000 pictures on your wedding day. From classic getting ready shots for the bride and groom to all the formal family and wedding party poses. We also had them stay to capture our reception!
We got all of our pics done before our ceremony and it made the day so much better! They keep things moving and we were actually ahead of schedule.
They both are hilarious, easy going, and just fun to hang out with. But they also know their stuff about photography so that's cool too!

Jeff and his team were AWESOME! We had a fantastic experience with them, and they were accountable and thorough throughout the wedding process! Yoko and Priscilla were fantastic to work with on our wedding day, and Jeff did an amazing job editing all our pictures. I knew Yoko and Priscilla had high standards for their work, and tirelessly photographed our special day for the best shots! We are so grateful!

When I was initially searching for a photographer, I did the standard research comparing websites. All the photos looked pretty, professional, formal, but Jeff's photos consistently had an extra edge to them. A little more character and emotion, personal, better lighting, taking seemingly mundane wedding photos up to quality professional work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

As soon as I first stumbled across Jeff's work I knew I needed to have him as our wedding photographer! We worked directly with both Jeff and Yoko. Jeff worked with us on the business aspect and made everything clear cut and very easy going. Yoko photographed our engagement shoot and wedding. Jeff was absolutely amazing to work with. I bothered him day and night with silly questions and how to do the "desired" pictures for the wedding day. Sten is THE MAN. He did our engagement and wedding photos and they couldn't have possible turned out any better. Working with him was great, he was professional, responsive and, very important for us, fun! He put us at ease with the whole process and it was so easy to be ourselves in front of the camera. Being a photography buff myself, I was especially particular when it came to the quality of photography for my wedding. When I came across NCP’s website, I was blown away by their awesome mix of amazingly posed portraits and fun filled candid shots on their site. I would kindly and respectfully call Sten a photography nerd. Since my now husband is a technology wizard himself, they hit it off right away, talking in tech gibberish that I couldn't keep up with if I tried. He captured our personas perfectly and out engagement shoot. After seeing our editing shots, we couldn't wait for the wedding! My family is very unique, and loves to have fun! So good reception photography was a must! I really wanted to find a photographer who had the ability to capture the atmosphere and emotion of our wedding in those amazing candid moments that we always tend to forget and pass by. I wish I could attach a file to this review because my absolute favorite photo that was captured at our wedding was when my youngest brother leaped over my cousin who was in a head stand with legs spread out in a straddle when we were all dancing on the dance floor. I told you my family was unique! Not only did Sten get the shot, but he captured frame by frame of the take off, mid air, landing, and reaction of all the guests surrounding the dance floor! Anyone seeing these shots can clearly see that everyone had a blast on our wedding day! Sten also loved to experiment with his different equipment to get some really amazing shots of me and my husband throughout the day. If you're looking at NCP's prices and trying to figure out what your money is going towards, you have to understand that this team had SO MUCH knowledge in their craft and has absolutely all the equipment necessary to get the amazing shots you are looking for. I was honestly blown away and have had so many compliments on our wedding day photographs. I would recommend New Chapters Photography to everyone over and over again!

We discovered Sten through his business partner, Jeff. From the very first email, Sten was responsive, friendly, professional, and extremely accommodating. Being a gay couple, we were a little nervous with how our marriage would be received by various venues and people within the wedding industry. Sten was nothing but accepting and had many different ideas in terms of posing, lighting, and scenery, but was also very willing to listen to and implement our own ideas.

Honestly, we cannot say enough positive things about Sten. We are both craft beer fans, and he met us for an initial consultation at a local brewery. We had very the ambitious goal of capturing a GQ magazine studio look for the style of our engagement portraits, and Sten was able to create that for us. On the day of our wedding, Sten and his assistant Priscilla were fantastic. They were both wonderfully friendly and professional, and their presence made our special day all the more enjoyable. The photo sessions we took part in on our wedding day were fun, and it was obvious that Sten and Priscilla shared in our excitement.

When we received the photo package from our wedding day, we were thrilled with the quality and beauty of the photos that Sten was able to capture. Every photo reinforces our fond memories of that day and we feel both grateful and lucky to have chosen Sten to be our wedding photographer.

When my husband and I were planning our wedding, photography was one of our top priorities. We wanted amazing, one-of-a-kind photos that are timeless and look better than anything we’d ever seen. And that’s what we go with New Chapters Photography. We are in love with the 1,000+ photos we have from our wedding. There are so many photos that we never even expected. Sten and his second shooter, Priscilla, captured details that I never noticed (everything was a whirlwind on your wedding day, just like people say), like flower arrangements, our favors, the guest book, the dessert table, etc. And so many fun candid shots, too! That was one of the best parts – looking through all of the photos of our friends and family on the dance floor, the band playing and singing their hearts out, and our little flower girls off in the corner giggling among themselves. Not only are the photos amazing, but Sten and Priscilla are some of the coolest and nicest people you’ll ever meet. They made everything so easy and relaxing for us. They were punctual – arrived early! – which was so reassuring for my Type A personality. They stuck to the wedding day timeline perfectly, so we didn’t have to feel rushed or feel bad that cocktail hour ran long (like it so often does). Instead, we were right on time for the reception and had a blast during the process. They helped ease my nerves. They made us laugh. They made me feel confident. And they weren’t afraid of some unexpected rain and cold weather at the end of April. We still got some amazing shots outside. Basically, they were up for anything, and it was so comforting to have a team with us on our wedding day that was so talented and down to earth at the same time. I would recommend New Chapters Photography to anyone looking for the highest quality experience and photos. Beautiful photos are worth the investment. Plus, you'll find Sten becomes more of a friend than a vendor, which makes it that much better.

I cannot say better things about Sten and the team at New Chapters Photography. I actually saw his photos in a book at a venue and I knew we had to have him as the photographer for our wedding. Sten is so personable and he made my husband and me feel comfortable right away. Another thing I loved was that Sten uses the engagement photo session to get to know the couple, and it was great to have that intro to him prior to our big day. Sten had worked with our videographer before too, which was great, they had a wonderful rapport. My parents and our bridal party noticed as well and commented on how great it was to have them around on the wedding day. My husband and I moved across the country four months prior to our wedding and Sten was so incredibly accommodating with helping us to plan from across the country. I absolutely recommend Sten and the New Chapters team for your wedding. I wish we still lived back east so that we could keep using him as a photographer.

Excellent photos and photographer!! Jeff was very professional and friendly, he wasn't afraid to joke with us. On top of having a great photographer. Jeff was easy to reach, and just amazing to work with. He made both my husband and I feel comfortable! Finally, my engagement and wedding photos were available fairly quickly after both events! Very happy with everything overall!

Jeff and Yoko were amazing to work with! They were very professional, always available to answer questions and their work was better than we ever expected. We used Jeff Benzon Photography for our engagement photos and wedding. Yoko was our photographer for both events and she was truly beyond amazing. Our engagement photos were taken in January (the coldest day of the winter) with 2 feet of snow on the ground. We were feeling a little uncomfortable having our photos taken and we had our uncooperative puppy in many of the pictures, so we left feeling like there was no way we got the shots we were hoping for. We were so wrong! The photos (which came back quickly) were perfect! On our wedding day, we joked that Yoko was a ninja. She was there for every important moment without being the least bit intrusive. She was climbing on top of and under things to get the pictures she wanted. She always has a vision and we learned quickly to trust her guidance. We also really loved working with Nancy, the 2nd shooter, on our wedding day. Throughout the process, Jeff was GREAT to work with. He answered all of my questions in a very short amount of time and kept me calm and on track. We can't wait to receive our pictures! I HIGHLY recommend using Jeff and Yoko for your big day- you won't regret it!!

Jeff was some of the best money we spent at our wedding. Being from NY, I found Jeff and his talent blew all other NY photographers out of the water. Jeff was quick to respond and thorough when it came to everything. His work is absolutely spectacular and I highly recommend checking out his blog and using his uniqueness to your advantage because he is anything but cookie cutter. He went above and beyond to help my husband and i create our unique "workout" style engagement shoot which included reaching out and finding a shooting spot and then traveling all the way to NY for our wedding day. Not only was he an amazing photographer but he becomes an awesome friend!

Sten has such an amazing talent for capturing ‘moments’ which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. It’s not the formal photos that remind you how great your day was – it’s the natural fun and excitement that is so important to be documented. Sten's ability not to miss a moment is incredible, and his energy and passion comes across in the photos. He is able to blend in so well that your guests, and literally you, will not realize they’re being photographed.

He works with a great team as well! My family had the pleasure of using New Chapters Photography for my sister's wedding but also mine as well! The team did a great job. Shout out to, Priscilla, who tag teamed with Sten again to do our wedding! Looking back on the photographs, my wife and I can still remember how fun it was to be captured through the lens of this mad and exciting team! Thanks again, guys!

Sten and Jeff were AMAZING! Hands down. Not only are they both incredibly talented, they're just fun to be around. Getting your pictures taken can be kinda awkward, but not with Sten. He made both my husband and I, and our wedding party, very comfortable, I think we did more laughing than anything else. He was very accommodating to all of our needs. They even ran out to the store to buy umbrellas because as fate would have it, it rained on our wedding day. When it came time for the reception, Sten and Jeff just blended in, we knew they were there without knowing it at all. All of our guests were stunned at the quality of photographs. Not only did we get a great photographer, we gained a friend. We will definitely be using New Chapters Photography again.

I cannot recommend Sten enough!! He is not only an amazing photographer (very creative) but he is incredibly easy to work with and very fun to be around. He made our wedding day go very smoothly and took some of the coolest pictures I've ever seen. I have gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos and I only wish I had known him earlier so I could've recommended him to more of my friends before they got married!
He is also very communicative and punctual, and gave us a preview pretty quickly after our wedding. Definitely recommend!

Sten was fantastic! Gave us over 1000 photos of the best night of my life. He was truly able to capture the mood that I wanted, with a beautiful artsy touch to it. Very easy to work with, which was super important to my husband and me because there is enough stress when planning a wedding. I could email, text, and even call him, when I had questions/concerns (and when you are a bride, you have PLENTY). We had some great posed shots before the wedding and then during cocktail hour, but what I really appreciated was that during the reception, I barely noticed him (hard to believe, he's like 7ft tall), making all of our photos come out so natural and candid. I loved it! He gave me the memories that I wanted, and I'm so glad I found him!

Sten and his team are absolutely amazing. From our initial meeting, all the way until the last picture taken, they were on top of everything. Always checking in to see if we needed anything or had any questions. Very responsive, organized, and really nice. Sten made everything so relaxing and fun for both the engagement photos and during our wedding day. He has an amazing eye for unique pictures, which to us, are so much better than the standard, formal picture you see with everyone else's weddings. Although he does make those traditional photos look great too! You want to go with New Chapter, there simply is no one else that compares!

We selected Jeff and Yoko for our wedding in November 2014. Yoko shot our engagement photos at our venue that December. We were really nervous having no experience getting pictures done before, but Yoko made us feel super comfortable. She had tons of great ideas for photos too. We wanted to get pictures with our two dogs which was a huge challenge to say the least (one is 4 yrs old and the other is 2 yrs old). They were a handful but Yoko just went with it and got tons of great pictures of them. The engagement photos turned out better than we ever imagined and we were able to use 4 of the pictures for our save the dates! Our original wedding date was set for August 1, 2015 but unfortunately we had a death in the family and we had to reschedule at the last minute. Jeff and Yoko were beyond accommodating and said they would do whatever they could to be available when we picked a new date. While we ended up rescheduling for November 7, 2015 and the day ended up being perfect. Yoko and the 2nd shooter Nancy did a fabulous job that day. My fiance and I gave Yoko a list of suggested shots and she did everything she could to get as many of the shots we put on that list. We did a first look and our group shots before the ceremony to try and save time and Yoko did an awesome job organizing the group together and getting the shots we wanted. She got tons of great pictures of our bridal party, our families and of just the two of us. We only booked her for 8 hours but she was so nice that she volunteered to come back at the end of the evening to shoot our lantern send-off, free of charge! She definitely exceeded our expectations.
We just got our pictures back two weeks ago and they were so terrific! The quality and lighting of all of the pictures was just perfect. Jeff did an amazing job editing. We sent our link to the bridal party and family and everyone just loved them! Jeff and Yoko were a great team,very creative, and overall a real pleasure to work with!

My husband and I could not be any happier with our engagement and wedding photos by Jeff! He was absolutely great to work with; very personable and professional. It felt like we had been long time friends even a few minutes after meeting. And his photos are gorgeous! Everything from the color to creativity of them is why we chose Jeff. I hope that I can fully express how wonderful our experience was with Jeff and his team before, during, and after our wedding...it will be hard to do in a short paragraph! My husband actually found Jeff while he was just doing an image-search of our venue. Pictures that Jeff had done of another wedding at that venue caught his eye (which is a big deal because he is VERY picky and critical about photography), and that was it! I had prepared myself for finding a photographer being a very stressful part of wedding planning, but we scheduled a meeting right away, and Jeff graciously took us on as clients. He also has two cats that we got to hang out with while we were chatting, which was pretty cool. We loved that he was simultaneously easy-going but clearly professional and excellent at his chosen vocation. Through all of our subsequent interactions (engagement photos, wedding planning, etc), he was so flexible and kind, and happy to work around our busy work schedules. The only bad thing I can say about all of the photos is that my computer's iPhoto application can't handle how many there are/how good of quality they are, and now takes about 5 minutes to launch, but this is a small price to pay for how AMAZING both our engagement and weddings photos are (which is far less due to my planning than to his photography vision). Now, if someone gets engaged, the first words out of my mouth after "Congratulations!" are "do you have a photographer yet?!?" because I want everyone that I know and love to have as awesome of an experience as we were able to have with Jeff. Thank you, Jeff (and April and Yoko!), for giving us the priceless wedding gift of truly amazing pictures of all of our friends and family!

I cannot recommend Jeff and his team more highly. While extremely professional, he was also so much fun to work with! My husband and I, along with our party, felt so comfortable having Jeff and Yoko following us around all day.

As happy as I was with his service the day of the wedding, it pales in comparison to how thrilled I was when I saw my photos (only a week and a half later, I might add.) The pictures Jeff took for us are the more beautiful than I ever could have imagined.

If you are hunting for a wedding or engagement photographer, you can stop your search now because you wont find anyone better than Jeff!

My husband and I were lucky enough to have Jeff as our engagement and wedding photographer! It was important to me to find someone who was talented and could deliver photos that I'd want hanging on the walls in my house for the rest of my life. Thankfully, I saw my cousin's photos from his wedding, loved them, contacted their photographer, Jeff, and was able to book him for our wedding! My husband and I aren't naturals in front of the camera, we were pretty nervous before the engagement shoot, but Jeff had us laughing and made it seem like something we did on the reg in no time! Jeff also loves it when you can personalize your experience, no matter how silly you think it is, like our love for Harry Potter. We told Jeff some ideas we had for some HP photos and Jeff was just as excited (maybe even more!) to do this for us! We loved our photos from the engagement shoot and were so pumped to have Jeff there for the big day. Jeff was the most professional vendor I booked, checking in often so that I was comfortable. On our wedding day, Jeff arrived at my house for candids on time, blended in without needing any direction, managed to win the affection of my three year old niece who has an aversion to strangers, coordinated all of the photos on our big day that we discussed in a fun way that our bridal party and families appreciated, and sent us a photo preview the night of our wedding! Jeff also had a second shooter, Sten, who was just as awesome to work with. As a team, they captured the most amazing photos and I truly believe had fun doing it! I felt like Jeff was a guest at my wedding who took pictures because of how comfortable we all felt and how taking pictures was seamlessly blended into the party, not something separate. My husband and I love our photos and are struggling to choose our top favorites for the album because there are so many beautiful ones. These are the photos I was hoping for, the ones I will want all over our house! We highly recommend Jeff!

Jeff is the best. We met him when he photographed my brother- and sister-in-law's wedding so we have personal experience with two weddings and an engagement shoot. He provides not only amazing photographs that you will stare at until forced away, but he is the absolute most fun and funny person to have capture those memories for you. He was definitely up for adventure during both our engagement and wedding photos - one involving fake rain and the other involving real. Everyone in our wedding party raved about him as well - he fits in with any group you may have and ends up adding to the day's enjoyment in addition to capturing it. People sometimes complain about feeling awkward in front of the camera or not knowing what to do - Jeff takes any awkwardness away and helps everyone know what to do for their shots (as well as captures plenty of candid shots that capture great moments). We are exceedingly pleased with the final result of our photos. We highly recommend Jeff - he is great to work with!

My mother and fiancé (at the time) found Jeff on the internet when we were searching for our wedding photographer. Since my now husband and I live in the DC area and my parents live in Northwestern PA we did a lot of wedding vendor searches via the internet and reviews. I could not have been more pleased with my mother and husband's choice of photographer. Jeff is not only the NICEST person to work with he takes the best photos. We new the moment we saw his work on the internet he was the photographer for us, however, it was solidified after we met with him for our engagement shoot. He is down to earth, funny, and a joy to work with. When we received our photos from the engagement session, I think we looked at them a few times a day because we were so happy with them. It just got me 1,000 times more excited for the wedding. Jeff really knew how to capture the love and happiness my husband and I share. On the wedding day , Jeff and his assistant never once complained about our large wedding party or photography "wants". They were happy to help us capture every element from our day. We have only seen a few sneak peaks of the wedding but it helped me to relive all of the moments I loved most about our wedding day and I can't wait to see all of the rest of the photos. Jeff was the BEST vendor we hired that day and I will find more ways for us to use him again in the future. He is very talented and really does what a photographer is supposed to do, capture the memory, the love, and the energy from a moment into a photo and make it 1,000 times more beautiful than you remembered.

My husband first met Jeff at his best friend's wedding in April 2013. As soon as my husband (boyfriend at the time) saw me at the reception he said "the photographer so was so much fun and made us all so comfortable." When we got engaged we only naturally reached out to Jeff. We met with 3 other photographers but none could compete with Jeff's package variety and value. Every other photographer's packages required that we purchase their $1,000 album. As a person that is not only computer savvy herself but has a graphic design sister we weren't interested in purchasing albums that we could make ourselves for a fraction of the cost. With Jeff you get every shot he takes on a disc and it's yours to keep forever and do with what you want! When it came time for engagement pictures (which I would highly recommend - even if you don't use them it gives you a chance to know your photographer) we were a little nervous. We don't like a lot of attention so having someone taking pictures of us for 90 minutes seemed very odd. I don't think I have ever laughed so much. We had so much fun and Jeff very quickly put us at ease. Our wedding day was no different. Jeff and his second shooter Yoko were always there snapping away at the best moments of the day but we never knew they were there! With the exception of the formal family photos they were like ghosts! They were never interrupting a special moment to get the shot - they found a way to get it without making their presence known. Many family and friends came up to us during the wedding and said "your photographers were great. We saw them taking pictures all night but they were never pushy and in your face!" Long story short.....Jeff and Yoko can't be beat. Every bride and groom deserve to feel about their photographer they way we do about Jeff and Yoko. Side note: do the photo booth! Our guests had a blast and you'll love to see all of the fun photos!

If you want to be sure to have the most amazing, fun, beautifully captured photographs of your engagement/wedding, I HIGHLY recommend Jeff Benzon Photography! Jeff was our first choice from the moment we spoke to him on the phone. He's an amazingly easy going guy, but is willing to fight for what you want in a photograph (more on that later). Jeff is hilarious - he immediately made us feel comfortable even though i HATE having my picture taken! We just felt like we were hanging out with one of our best friends. The engagement photos he took were so amazing... he was actually willing to fulfill our weird ideas of "awkward family photos" and cheesy movie covers. He was always there to answer any questions I had, and even used his charm and wit to convince our priest to allow photos during the wedding ceremony. :) If you're looking for someone to capture your personality in a photograph - Jeff is your guy. If you want boring, old, posed, glamour shots... Jeff could probably still be your guy... but don't hold him back from his amazing, unrivaled talent!!!! He's the absolute best and I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been to a few weddings all over the place and Jeff is leaps and bounds ahead of any photographer I have ever seen. The man is truly gifted at what he does. With no "professional" schooling to make him a robot, he sees the beauty in things and captures them. My wife and I were very fortunate to come across him on the Internet. Not only was he the cheapest, he offered the most in terms of packages. I'm always one to believe you get what you pay for but we really lucked out with Jeff. He took our engagement photos as well as wedding photos and he ended up becoming more of a friend than someone we 'hired.' I challenge anyone to find me a better all around photographer.

Sten was my photographer for my engagement shoot and wedding in October 2014. He was absolutely amazing! He is so creative with everything he did. My engagement shoot was on an ice rink and the pictures turned out awesome. He was able to do such creative things with the lighting and we were blown away with how they turned out. He even spent a little extra time with us so we could get some pictures outside with the fall trees. The pictures were perfect. I ended up using tons of the engagement photos at our wedding reception, for our guestbook, and for our save the dates. The wedding day went perfect, I had a very long reception and we were able to add additional hours and he is very flexible! Sten and his assistant captured every moment and every little detail. Not to mention he is so fun to work with! I couldn't have asked for a better photographer and I will be using him again in the future!

Sten perfectly captured our wedding. He was right on with every moment, every little detail, absolutely everything I want to remember.

We also got the photobooth for our reception and it was a HUGE hit.

Hire New Chapters if you want a photographers who are extremely talented, so much fun to work with, and game for anything. My husband and I are genuinely laughing our butts off in all of our portraits, and every last one of the photos captures the essence of us and our wedding day.

Sten and his team are a blast! My husband and I met with Sten a few weeks before the wedding to have an "engagement"/"getting to know you" shoot and we had a blast with him then. He showed up the morning of our wedding at my parents house and immediatly put me (a nervous bride) at ease. He took stunning pictures of my bridesmaids and parents. We couldn't be happier with the final product. EVERYONE who has seen our pictures comments on how gorgeous and original they are. Funny shots, gorgeous shots, sentimental shots that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Do yourself a favor and book Sten. I know I will keep him in mind for any friends or family members who ask if I know a good photographer. I also plan to use him to photograph any milestones in our life. Where do I even begin? Jeff was a total rock star!! First - he was a joy to work with. He is very responsive, and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. He's extremely thorough. The photos went smoothly all day because Jeff thought of everything. He is definitely the photographer that goes above and beyond to make sure your photos are everything you've dreamed of. Ours definitely were! Which brings the second reason we loved working with jeff - he is amazingly talented. Our photos are so gorgeous, when we received them, we stared at them over and over. They are a treasure that we will enjoy for the rest of our lives. I am so happy we chose him to capture our day!! His pricing is also very reasonable. Jeff was a blast to work with! His passion for photography was clear from the very first time we spoke last April-- he mentioned that he was having trouble sleeping because he was so pumped for another wedding season to begin!
Jeff wants everything to be perfect just as much as you do. When the weather for our engagement session was not looking just right, Jeff suggested we reschedule (two times) until we had the right weather for our outdoor shoot! My fiancé and I were so so nervous (we rarely take photos) but within minutes of meeting him, Jeff made us feel so comfortable being ourselves in front of him and the camera. We were blown away when we saw the photos.
At our wedding, Jeff and Yoko were an amazing team. Some of our guests mentioned how great they both were at being everywhere but never "in the way" of the action!
Jeff will stop at nothing to get the creative shot he sees-- including practically swimming in a river for us to get a perfect photo on a bridge. Or asking to borrow a passer-by's dog to get a unique (amazing) shot with the groomsman. He gives quick directions and shoots like crazy to make sure to get just the right shot and make the most of the time he has for posed photos. We only have previews so far, but we don't have to wait see the rest to know they are going to be exactly what we were hoping for.
The best part-- you will own your photos! Jeff isn't out to sell you expensive albums or charge you an arm and a leg for rights to copy. He simply wants to provide you great photographs you can use any way you'd like.
Jeff truly put his all into capturing the special moments at our wedding. We are so lucky to have been recommended such a talented photographer (and to meet such a genuinely nice guy)! My bridesmaids still talk about how fun it was to shoot with him.

Being a fellow wedding photographer, there was only one person i wanted photographing my wedding who I knew would knock it out of the park - Jeff Benzon.

Jeff was professional from day one, always checking in during the wedding planning process. He was courteous to my wife and bridesmaids and even helped out without being asked throughout the day. He made us feel extremely comfortable from the first second he started photographing our big day - That is always a positive feeling!

He was a ninja too at times. Taking photos without us knowing, and making sure that those candid''s were there as well. He was present, without being seen, and always available & there when needed for a family photo.

Jeff and his partner Yoko were awesome to work with, delivery quality photos, and the way he presents his work is outstanding.

I would HIGHLY recommend Jeff for your wedding photography, you will not be disappointed!

Jeff Benzon was our absolute favorite vendor. He was an easy choice once we met him because he was so personable and my fiance liked him right away. For our engagement pictures, he made us feel so comfortable with ourselves, with each other, and with him. Then, for the wedding, he showed up an hour early just to get a lay of the land and was not invasive or overbearing. He helped to keep us on schedule and made sure that we got all of the shots that we wanted. The creativity of him shots and the quality of his pictures blew any competition out of the water and his personality was just the cherry on top. We would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an amazing, affordable photographer. Him (and his second photographer) were well worth the money and I will cherish the pictures that he took forever.

I’ve known Sten, the owner of New Chapters, for several years, and after recommending him to several friends, I didn’t think twice about asking him to be our wedding photographer. He makes any photo shoot feel like a fun time, and encourages you to be yourself – no boring, standard poses (unless you want them!) – and pays attention to every detail for some of the most creative photographs I’ve seen. Our wedding was no different – the minute Sten and Priscilla arrived on-site, I was able to relax and begin to enjoy the day. Our whole wedding party had such an awesome time with Sten, and it shows in our photos. We just received our preview, and I am stunned by how beautiful the pictures turned out – they perfectly captured the joy of our day, and we could not be happier!

We feel blessed to have had Sten of NCP as the photographer for our wedding. Sten isn\'t just some guy showing up to take pictures of your wedding, he\'s your long lost buddy that you haven\'t caught up with in years and he wants to join you on your wedding day to help make it as special as he possibly can.\r\n\r\nA few things we\'d like to highlight:\r\n\r\n- When it came to our engagement shoot, Sten helped us be relaxed and have fun with it even though neither of us had posed for pictures like this in the past. \r\n\r\n- Sten was really helpful in planning our engagement shoot and our wedding photos, including potential locations.\r\n\r\n- If you can\'t get along with Sten, you can\'t get along with anyone. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, or a photographer of any kind, look no further. Hire Jeff. He’s super talented and easy-going and his photos will let you relive your special day over and over. We had an engagement photo shoot and our wedding shot by him. For the engagement photo shoot, we had to change our date twice and he was totally cool and easy going about it because the cherry blossoms came out late. Despite starting at 7am, Jeff was cheerful and helped inspire us to have fun so he could get some great shots. We had such a diversity of engagement pictures that really captured the essence of us as a couple. I think that’s one of the amazing things about Jeff is that he has the ability (to direct you if needed) to get great shots that represent who are as a couple. He also shot our wedding and we have the MOST amazing pictures—everyone said how fantastic they were. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the most amazing pictures possible. He had never shot at where we got married and he drove down the day before to scout out the site, which wasn’t part of the contract but he just did that because he’s a great guy and is clearly passionate about his job. Communicating with Jeff was also really easy. He reaches out to give you periodic updates and to make sure he knows your expectations. I can’t say enough great things about Jeff and his talent. If you want pictures that you can look at for decades to come with pride and awe, work with Jeff. You’ll be so happy you did.

I really can't say enough about how wonderful Jeff is. He did both our engagement and wedding shoots. He is one of the most creative and professional photographers I have the pleasure of knowing. He cares so much about you and your day. It is more about what you want and your vision, then what he thinks is best for you. He takes photography "risks" that come out better then you can ever imagine. On our wedding day there was a blue grass festival in the area we wanted to get pictures. He asked us if we wanted to walk through and get pictures of the festival goers reactions. We decided it would be fun and are so happy with the decision. He is so much fun to work with, he had my bridal party roaring. He also values mentoring other young photographers. We had the pleasure of meeting his intern Yoko. She was amazing and it was great to get another photographers prospective. I can't say enough about Jeff and his business. I plan on using him for my children and family photos. My children will grow up knowing him and I am honored!

Prior to the wedding, Jeff was very prompt, professional and thorough. He has a calming presence that I found very helpful in the midst of planning a wedding. Jeff and his assistant Chris were a pleasure to work with the day of the wedding. Not only were they receptive to my ideas, but they came up with a lot of great ideas of their own by scouting out the venue beforehand. The photos were delivered within 3-4 weeks of the wedding, and we have rights to all the photos. Jeff even mailed us a USB copy of all photos which was a very nice touch.

Jeff's photography has the perfect blend of artistry and traditionalism that we were looking for. The photos are simply beautiful and they catalog the wedding day better than a video ever could. The emotions and scenes he captured will be remembered for years to come.

Several people commented that these are the best wedding photos they've ever seen. In short, you can't go wrong by selecting Jeff Benzon as your wedding photographer.

I wish I could give Sten more than a 5! Sten is not only an amazing photographer, but an awesome person. He is the definition of laid-back, flexible, creative, and FUN! In less than two weeks, my husband and I have already received a preview of our photos and we love them. Sten was incredibly attentive throughout the planning process and made sure I was stress free. He even helped me with my veil! I could never thank Sten and Joel enough for making our wedding, and the tangible memories we will take away from it, amazing. Thank you!

Jeff (and Ryan, who assisted him on the day of our wedding) were AWESOME! Jeff had done our engagement photos, which was great, so then on the day of the wedding we already knew his style and how he worked, and we were very comfortable with him. He's so laid back, and very unobtrusive at an event - when we weren't doing posed photos or shots of just the two of us or family, I have to say we didn't notice he was there! We loved our engagement photos and have absolutely loved the previews he sent us from our wedding. One of my friends loved them so much she's hiring him for her wedding several hours away! What initially attracted us to Jeff's work were his great candids, the interesting shots he takes, and the color he brings out in his work. His photos are beautiful, you should check them out. We had our engagement & wedding photos with Jeff. It was a really wonderful experience. I thought he was great on several levels (1) his personality; (2) his ability to put you at east; and most importantly (3) his amazing photography skills.

Jeff is a very energetic and friendly person, who helps to make you feel like no matter what you do you are doing it right. He only poses you for a few shots (and by a few I mean one, maybe two at most). His personality perfectly matched our wedding which was outdoors with lawn games. He is not restricted by any venue being "too non-traditional".

I am not the kind of person who considers myself photogenic under normal circumstances, but because of how relaxed Jeff makes you feel both the significant other and I look completely happy and gorgeous in every shot.

Jeff has an eye for color and composition. I have 800 photos from our wedding and every single photo shows his artistic style. The colors pop with the background and foreground accentuating the subject.

I do not regret choosing Jeff in any way and going with him was the best addition to my wedding.

Jeff is quite simply amazing at his job. He is friendly, genuinely wants to know what you want of your photos inside and out, and has incredible skill. He brought out the personalities of everyone at our wedding; he didn't just take posed photos of them. We have friends who have paid two or three times more than we did for Jeff and their photos weren't as stylish or as high a quality. By the end of our wedding we felt like Jeff was a member of the bridal party -- if you can't get along with him there's something wrong with you! Our Oct. 6, 2012 wedding is on his website blog if you want to see the awesome work he did for us. Jeff is an absolute "must look at" in the wedding photography business.

Sten Hartman and New Chapters Photography are absolutely amazing. My husband and I had so much fun working with Sten for our engagement photos and then Sten and Priscilla on our wedding day. They made sure to take all of the formal portraits we wanted but also came up with such creative ideas for bridal party photos. If you're a fan of a more photojournalistic style of photography, you'll love New Chapters. They managed to capture so many tender moments throughout the day and I'm so glad that I'll have their beautiful photos to look at for the rest of my life. I live in Baltimore, but my sister recommended New Chapters to me and my husband. We looked at photos and met with 2 photographers when doing our photographer search, but after our meeting with Sten I was sold. From the start he was extremely personable and laid-back, exactly what I needed. You can tell he loves what he does and he's great at it. Our engagement pictures are gorgeous, he knew exactly how to draw out our personalities, despite the fact that neither of us are incredibly outgoing. Sten did a great job of communicating and keeping in contact, and always made us feel important. Our friends and family loved working with him and his 2nd shooter on our wedding day, and they did an awesome job, especially considering they were in a new town. They were extremely flexible and made the most of every situation. While we've only seen a preview of what's to come, I cannot stop looking our photos and I have received nothing but compliments. New Chapters definitely turns a situation that can be difficult into a fun experience and really captures the day and their subjects to a "T". Looking forward to finding more reasons to use New Chapters Photography in the future!

New Chapters Photography is incredible, period. Sten is one of the nicest, most caring and passionate people I have ever met, and that definitely shines through into his photography.

When planning, he was willing to answer any question and give any advice if needed. Our engagement shoot was the epitome of fun: my husband and I were his "crash test dummies" for utilizing props during engagement shoots, and while a tiny bit nervous because we weren't sure what to expecct, he made us feel so comfortable and took amazing photos! He brought his sister, Ingela, as a second shooter on our wedding day, and they are a killer dynamic duo: kind, funny, made us feel completely comfortable. They were super organized and knew what photos to take and when to take them and where to put people and when to put them there. They just totally rocked.

Sten has a really unique and fresh eye but still puts a classic, timeless feel into all of his photos. The one thing my husband and I love most about our wedding photos is that you can FEEL the day, not just see it. Sten completely captured the emotion of the day along with what it all looked like, and for that I cannot say enough good things about him (and Ingela, too).

My husband and I have both told Sten this personally, but we feel really lucky that we were able to have him as the photographer of our wedding. He made it fun and our pictures are beautiful; what more can you ask for.

I randomly fell upon Jeff's website one day when I had to begin the search for a new photographer for our wedding.... The first one I hired double booked our wedding day and I guess I got the short straw and was told she could no longer be our photographer. Angry, annoyed, and disgusted ... I began to look for a new photographer. Everything happens for a reason though, right? I'm so happy things works out the way they did because my husband and I had the most amazing experience working with Jeff. He did both our engagement and wedding photos. His work is absolutely wonderful. I would recommend him to all brides out there!! He is a professional/friendly/fun guy and is GREAT at what he does. We are more than pleased with everything!! He is a hard worker and got some of the most amazing shots! I honestly couldn't have asked for more. He got soooo many pictures of the entire day... yet... you didn't even realize he was there taking the pictures! Not quite sure how he does that. hahah. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed and made everything lots of fun! I have gotten sooo many compliments from guests at the wedding and then again afterwards when they saw the results!! I have some of the most beautiful, memorable engagment and wedding photos. I will cherish them always. SO happy with the decision I made to have Jeff as our photographer!! From the first phone call to the last photo taken on the wedding day, Jeff made our day stress free and brought out the fun in everyone. I live about 2 hours from Jeff and the distance was not an issue at all. He is very professional, friendly, and talented to say the least. Definitely makes you relax and feel comfortable even if you are a little camera shy! He is there for every special moment and captures the tiniest of glances and you don't even realize he's there. I would highly recommend Jeff to capture your most memorable moments.

Words do not even describe how amazing Jeff is. Jeff is very professional but by the end of the day you feel like he is part of the family and he knows exactly who you are and what you want. We used him for our engagement photos and after that moment I could not think of anyone else I wanted to use for our pictures. I wanted my photographer there for the rehearsal, wedding and family brunch on Sunday. Jeff was completely fine with my requests and was willing to travel to our wedding location. I paid for his hotel to stay the 2 nights. Jeff showed up early to our rehearsal so he could look around to get a feel for the area. When we were deciding which direction we wanted to stand for our ceremony, we asked Jeff for his opinion. He gave us his opinion, but only after he spent time looking at pictures of the site we had sent him and he even pulled up our site on google maps to look at aerial views to see where the sun would be and what the lighting would be, etc. He has the eye for finding and capturing the perfect photos and he will even slide across the dance floor to make sure he is in the perfect position for the perfect shot! He knew every photo I wanted to get and help me keep my big family on task for the photos before the ceremony. Jeff was constantly taking pictures throughout the night and never stopped moving. He even edited 3 photos for the next day so I could give them to my mother-in-law to send out with the wedding announcements before we left for our honeymoon. Jeff’s love for photography shows in everything he does and you can see his face light up when he gets the perfect idea for a perfect shot. I can wait to see all the photos he took. We will definitely use Jeff again for any events we need pictures for.

Where to begin - a bride is always anxious about her photographer. A wedding only happens once not to mention the fact that it is a large chunk of the budget, but we can't say how lucky we feel to have fallen upon Jeff. He not only is an extremely talented artist but he is kind and in the end, feels like a friend we've known our whole lives. He captured the most amazing moments (that we didn't even know were happening!). Friends who weren't even able to come to the wedding said how after looking at our photos, they felt like they had been part of the day! He captured not only the details but the spectrum of emotions on our day in the most beautiful and surprising ways. We found our photographer for life!!!

From our first meeting, to the 2-days-before call to assure me that everything was perfect and ready to go, through our post-wedding contact, Jeff Benzon is the ultimate professional photographer. He was a blast to work with, super flexible and open to our suggestions and input, and had the charisma and easy-going attitude to keep our entire bridal party laughing and looking picture-perfect all day long. What a tremendous experience, especially for the price! Jeff is a techie too, so you can rest assured that his equipment is top notch. His attention to detail and creative eye resulted in truly jaw-dropping photos, both to preserve and artfully showcase our day. Jeff is an INCREDIBLE photographer. We were so blessed that he was there to photograph our ceremony and reception. From day one, he was the consumate professional. I loved that he scoped out the wedding reception site prior to the day to get ideas - he took the time to talk with us about what we wanted in our photographs. We previewed a few photographs taken through out the night and we were just blown away - Jeff is so talented and just has that innate ability to capture the magic on camera. We are so excited to see the rest.

If your wedding is in Jeff's area of service and you don't book him, you are out of your mind. Every step of the process with him is easy and fun, and then you see your photos. You can't even believe you are seeing photos of your own life. He is an amazing photographer and clearly loves what he does. He is excited and passionate about taking photos and he fits in any situation. I honestly received so many compliments after our engagement photo session that I couldn't even wait for our wedding photos. Well, we didn't have to. Jeff loves what he does so much that he gets as excited as we were to see the results and emailed us a few photos THE NIGHT OF OUR WEDDING. He is amazing and EVERYONE will notice his talent. Both my husband's family and mine were blown away by him and I had at least five people ask where I found such an amazing vendor. Stop reading this review and call him, thank me later.

Sten with New Chapters Photography is an absolute genius with the camera. He can take pictures and work his magic so when you see them, you'll gasp. (I've done it several times since he also did our engagement shoot). Hands down he has some of the best work I've seen from photographers in the Central PA area.

We had an overcast day for our wedding and Sten's photos made my day look magical despite the clouds. Throw in New Chapter's Photobooth, which is better and cheaper than renting an actual photobooth because it's run by staff, has prints right there, fits many more people, and comes with fantastic props, and you'll have a great reception. We added it to our wedding and it was the highlight of the night. Not to mention we got fantastic candids of people that you wouldn't get in the tradition wedding scenes.

Sten brought a second shooter to help with the day, setting up shots, wrangling family members for photos, etc, and I remarked to my husband the next day that they never seemed to rest. They were probably more tired than me on my wedding day! They were so professional and great at keeping things moving.

Sten did take a few days to respond sometimes to emails but he was always thorough and helpful when he did. I know he had also just had a baby only a few days earlier when this happened, so I'd say he was actually very prompt in getting back to me, knowing that he had his hands slightly full at the time! I have absolutely NO complaints about my experience!

Where to begin? First of all I wish I could give him better than a 3/3! He totally deserves it! Jeff Benzon is, without question, one of the most talented photographers I’ve ever seen. He has this amazing ability to capture all of the emotion you feel on your wedding day and so much more than that. All of my friends and family that have seen our pictures are so impressed with how much of the day and events he was able to capture. As my husband and I looked through our photos, we felt all of the same feelings that we experienced that day. What a wonderful gift he’s able to give! Jeff is personable, fun, and easy-going; you feel like you've made a new friend when working with him. He has a wonderful ability to make you feel at ease. Throughout your wedding day, you’ll forget that he’s there! He is sly in the way he moves about the room, capturing all of the moments that you’d want to remember - and maybe some of the ones you’d like to forget :) Overall, I would absolutely recommend Jeff Benzon to ANY friend, family member, or stranger!! I know that for any future photos, I will be contacting Jeff! Thank you just doesn't seem like enough - but THANK YOU Jeff for telling our love story so beautifully!

Choosing Jeff as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made all day! He was professional, fun, and has an amazing eye and ability to capture the most important moments - big and small.

We just love our wedding photos and our experience with Jeff. He was extremely flexible with us for the wedding day as well as our engagement session. He traveled for both events -- and even traveled to us in DC to shoot our engagement photos, which are also amazing!!

Both sessions were so much fun and never felt awkward or forced - something my husband and I were concerned about, being people who don't love being in the spotlight.

Our engagement and wedding photos were edited and given back to us very quickly, and as I mentioned, we couldn't be happier with the results. We still get compliments on our photos ALL the time! Jeff is the only vendor from our wedding that I have referred to other brides time and again.

We hope to work with Jeff again in the future and wish him continued success.

I cannot say enough about how much we love Sten and his team! Very professsional and easy going to work with. We used Sten for Engagement photos also and he really went above and beyond! He got all of the shots we asked for and I knew the team was taking photos at every moment without feeling like he was paparazzi in my face with a camera. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sten Hartman and New Chapters Photography. We wanted amazing, timeless, yet "different" photos for our special day and we got that x a million! We were more than pleased with Sten's professionalism, promptness and just overall awesomeness! He was so easy going and calm yet he did not miss a shot!! Sten and his team are fabulous! I have been working with Sten for over a year planning our wedding and he was nothing but helpful. From our engagement to the wedding day; our photos are more than I could have ever imagined. We gave Sten a list of types of photos we wanted taken that day and he took those and so many more. He truly is the most creative photographer I have ever met. He thinks of shots that I couldn’t in a million years and I am so grateful for that! He captured every moment of our big day so that we will be able to remember it for a lifetime! We also used NCP’s photobooth; which our guests loved and had so much fun with! I cannot say enough good things about Sten and New Chapters Photography. We love his vision for wedding photos and were really eager to work with him after meeting in person and seeing some of his work. Sten is extremely accommodating, very kind and a lot of fun! We had a great time with our engagement shots and loved the photos we got out of it. We even took our dog who never sits still, and Sten was able to capture some great moments of the 3 of us.

Sten always works with a second shooter, who happens to be his sister. These two have a great energy and work very, very well together. Many family and party members commented how at ease they were made to feel by the photographers. They were willing to try any ideas that we had and made some really fun suggestions as well. I felt that the focus and dedication of these two cannot be matched, at least not at this price range.

This is the photographer you've been looking for. Don't hesistate!!!

I could not say enough great things about Jeff. He was fantastic throughout the whole process, discussing what we wanted, being so friendly and easygoing yet professional on the day of our wedding, and then getting an amazing set of photos back to us sooner than we expected them. He showed up early, got us back even more pictures than we had discussed, and the pictures were AWESOME! I highly recommend going with Jeff as your photographer!

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Sten Hartman! He was a fun photographer and made us feel at ease with all of the crazy stuff going on. We have some amazing engagement pictures that we got taken from him, and our wedding pictures are sure to be beautiful also! In the beginning I was a little nervous because we were going over our budget for our photographer, but now that we had the chance to work with Sten and have some of the amazing photos he has taken, we don't regret the decision we made one bit!! Jeff Benzon is an amazing photographer. He is extremely professional and his time management skills are fantastic. He works very hard to make sure that you get great pictures and still have time to enjoy your special event. His pictures are amazing and his personality is welcoming and fun. We will treasure the moments he captured with his photography for the rest of our lives. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.
