Wonderful experience!!

We chose New Arts Ensemble for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were absolutely wonderful! They were a joy to work with - very communicative throughout the time we booked to the wedding day. We can’t recommend them enough!

Just perfect!

The trio provided the perfect setting for our outdoor wedding ceremony. We requested a mix of contemporary songs, and Kristin and co. went above and beyond! We couldn’t have been happier with the music for the day.

Beautiful Instrumentals and Excellent Customer Service

We booked a violinist and harpist for our wedding ceremony. The instrumentals were simply beautiful and definitely created the ambiance we desired. Booking to execution was seamless. Kristine is very approachable and easy to work with. I highly recommend New Arts Ensembles.

Provided a wonderful experience

New Arts Ensembles - Kristin and team - provided a string quartet that played a specific set of songs for our wedding guests as they arrived and played for our ceremony. They were wonderful to work with and performed amazingly. They were a key part of our wedding and it would not have been the same without them.

Amazing! Highly recommend

I just got married 3 weeks ago in Savannah at Victory North. My husband and I wanted to have an elegant feel to the ceremony and cocktail hour. We found New Art Ensembles and booked a Cellist for 2 hours. Kristin was so quick to respond to all my emails. When the wedding date came closer and we finalized our song list, it was no issue to play them. We picked:

Amazing Music

New Arts Ensembles made my daughter's wedding ceremony just perfect. I can not express enough how helpful Kristin was in planning for this day. My daughter wanted to have "Wouldn't it be nice" for the recessional song and Kristin made it happen! The ceremony was just that much more beautiful because of New Arts Ensembles. Thank you!

Wonderful Music for our Ceremony!!!

Kristin and Sinisa played at my ceremony for my wedding on Sept. 12. They were AMAZING!!! Leading up to the wedding Kristin was very helpful in helping me with my questions and choosing the music. I highly recommend New Ensemble without reservation!

Wonderful (and wonderfully low-maintenance)

Kristin and her ensemble were a wonderful addition to our outdoor wedding ceremony and afternoon reception at Forsyth Park in Savannah — completely elegant — and for a bride and groom who may have been a little too distracted to sit and enjoy the show as our guests did, their professionalism and easy-to-deal-with system was a huge bonus. We were completely confident about this part of our wedding in the lead-up and in the execution, which was a luxury and a comfort. Highly recommend!

Outstanding musicians!

Kristin and the quartet we hired for our wedding ceremony were a wonderful addition for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We asked them to perform specific arrangements that we had prepared for the ceremony and the cocktail hour, and Kristin was very communicative and a pleasure to work with ahead of time to make sure that they would not only meet but exceed our expectations. Kristin's harp helped to elevate the traditional string quartet to something unique and special, and the entire group was incredibly talented and quite professional. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Thank you for making our wedding magical!

Working with New Arts Ensemble was super easy!!! I knew before my wedding that I wanted to walk down the aisle to "Georgia on my Mind" the Steve Gadd version instrumental so I contacted Kristen to find out what she recommended and she was able to listen to the song and recommend exactly what instruments we needed to pull it off for my budget. We had an organist and saxophone and it was truly magical. I was married on December 15th, 2018 and it still gives me goosebumps thinking about walking down the aisle to them playing the live version of that song under the mossy oak trees at the Old Roberd's Dairy Farm. I would highly recommend these guys for whatever musical style you are looking for!!! Thank you for making our wedding magical!!!

Absolutely Recommend!

Kristin was the harpist at our ceremony. It was such a pleasure working with her. She is so friendly and very professional. She even learned a song I requested for the ceremony and played it beautifully!

Kristin and her team were amazing. Communicating with Kristin throughout the months leading up to the wedding was like talking to your friend. She is super helpful and informative and can do anything you want. The music was beautiful and no electricity required which was great for my venue.

Kristin was a dream to work with. She was very accommodating and quick to answer our needs. When we said "We need a brass band to play for about 20m at 11PM on a Saturday", she said "oh i know the right people"

New Arts Ensembles was absolutely amazing - would highly recommend for any wedding! Kristin was super responsive throughout the planning process and pulled together a group of musicians that fit exactly what we were looking for. We hired Kristin King as the harpist for our wedding ceremony. She was one of the most organized and prepared vendors we encountered. She took detailed notes on our song preferences and circulated these back to us quickly. At one point we had difficulty contacting another unrelated vendor. She was so integrated in the community that she was able to reach out to a contact and help drive this forward.
We live in NYC and Kristin met with us in her home when we visited Savannah. She played us a selection of Jewish music, which was so lovely I had tears in my eyes. Kristin was just as professional and talented on our wedding day. I'd work with her again in a heartbeat!

New Arts Ensembles was amazing to work with! From having the harp and violin during our ceremony, the piano during cocktail hour, and the full band during the reception. They handled it all! We got so many compliments on the music, I'd book with them again!

Kristen was great to work with!

Our first request was a brass band for a second line parade at the end of our reception. We needed 5 musicians from 11pm-12am on a Saturday night, and we weren't sure who could get this done. We emailed New Arts Ensemble and they were so helpful! They immediately understood our needs and helped with all of our requests. The band was a hit!

We also used New Arts to book a violinist for our cocktail hour. The musician was great and everyone loved it.

New Arts was one of our best vendors - highly recommend booking through them!

I had a two piece arrangement for my wedding and I even had to postpone my date because of the hurricane and they were more than willing to work around the new date to make sure they were there! Everything turned out beautiful and perfect. The music was flawless and added so much to the atmosphere. These guys are the best of the best!

How fortunate I was to get to work with New Arts Ensembleand specifically Kristin. She made the entire process of picking wedding ceremony and cocktail hour a breeze. Her creativity and thoughtful suggestions made our event even more wonderful. Kristin had the perfect idea for our wedding party procession and have me total peace of mind throughout. And beyond that, the music was beautiful! I could not have asked for more beautiful music and perfect for the occasion. She made it all fun and relaxed which is a feat when planning a destination wedding!

We booked New Arts Ensemble to perform during our ceremony. Kristin was great to work with and was very helpful throughout the entire process. We weren't sure what instrumentation we wanted, only the style we were going for. She helped us decide on a trio that included a harp, cello, and violin. We went with non-traditional tunes and she helped us narrow down the perfect songs from a list we created. They even learned two new songs specifically for us!

The day of the wedding, they showed up plenty early to do a soundcheck and were very professional the entire time. The music was absolutely perfect, and they played it beautifully. There wasn't a dry eye in the venue, and a lot of that had to do with the mood that was set thanks to New Arts Ensemble. They were top quality in every single way and we highly recommend them for any occasion!

We had a trio (harp, cello, violin) play at our wedding and it really made the entire ceremony. The played non-traditional songs that we picked out, but they also had a ton of standards to perform. Everyone was talking about how special they made the day. Highly recommend!

I was very last minute about deciding to have ceremony music for my wedding. I emailed Kristin multiple times with questions about their services and she was so helpful! We ended up booking Jared Hall to play the piano for our ceremony. I'll be honest, I was so nervous and focused during the ceremony that I barely noticed the music! Tunnel vision/hearing I guess! I heard Jared playing while waiting in the bridal suite and the music was beautiful! All of the guests talked about how great the music was after the ceremony, so though I may not have heard much of it myself, I know that it was fantastic!!

Our experience with Kristin and New Arts Ensembles was awesome! We knew the direction we wanted to go, but needed suggestions and help getting there. For our "simple but elegant" wedding we hired a harpist for the ceremony, pianist for cocktail hour, and guitar and bass duo for dinner/evening ambiance. Understated elegance .... all I can say as mother-of-the-bride is WOW! All musicians delivered in an exceptional way ... coming and going with dignity and professionalism and attired appropriately for the venue and occasion. Their music set the tone for our guests to worship, mingle, converse, and finally celebrate the joyous occasion of the wedding of our daughter and her wonderful husband. New Arts provided music for our rehearsal dinner, welcome party and wedding and all three musical acts were amazing! Professional, well rehearsed and fun -- and our guests loved them. New Arts Ensembles was great to work with. This was our first daughters wedding and we didn't know where to begin with music selections for the ceremony. Kristin King met with us and gave us advice. She was very professional and helped us tremendously. The musicians at the ceremony were wonderful. Everyone commented on how beautiful the music was. We will definitely use this group again when our next daughter gets engaged.

We hired Kristin on harp and Ricardo on violin for my daughter's wedding, which was held at the Georgia State Railroad Museum in Savannah. I dealt with Kristin directly during the planning process. She was very accommodating and helped in suggesting the type music we needed. She also quickly learned one of the songs before our event. We also purchased their sound package, which worked out perfectly. Kristin and Ricardo were right on cue during the ceremony with no gaps. They also performed during cocktail hour. They sounded absolutely wonderful and made my daughter's wedding a very memorable one.

Unbelievable experience!! We hired Velvet Caravan for my grandma's 80th birthday. It was a total surprise and the band coordinated surprising her at the front door, and even went out of their way to bring a bouquet of flowers!!!!!!!!!! They played interactive "name that tune" games with her. Sang an extended happy birthday and worked with us to coordinate bringing out the cake - impeccable timing all around. They even stayed after and chatted. SOOOOO nice and the music was so fun and lively. Nobody could sit still. I have never met a more pleasurable group! Kristin was also AMAZING dealing with my indecisiveness in planning - SUPER flexible and more responsive than ANY of the vendors for my own wedding! Totally worth the money. I think my grandma got 10 extra years of life after the show.

I hired a duo of a harpist and a violinist to play for the my daughter's wedding ceremony. They did a beautiful job. The music was wonderful. They were very easy to contact and have a wide range of songs. My daughter was able to get the exact music she wanted. I was able to do everything on the phone or by email. The wedding planner thought they were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend New Arts Ensembles!

New Arts Ensembles is headed by two very talented musicians: a violinist and a harpist, both of whom are active in our community and make wonderful music with their respective instruments. New Arts Ensembles provided four musicians for our very special event. Although this wonderful quartet provided background music for our reception, to many of us it's music was really the highlight of this wedding celebration for our niece. Our niece and her new husband loved the music, as well as our guests. Many guests have commented on how much they enjoyed the reception, including especially the music. When we have events in the future, we hope that New Arts Ensembles will be able to participate.

I had a string duo and a soloist. The musicians were very professional and did a beautiful job. I highly recommend Sheila Berg as a soloist, she has a beautiful voice and you will not be disappointed. Kristin King kept me informed and even was able to make the date work with the string duo, even though they had another performance afterward, she was able to schedule them for our wedding in addition. Many would have just said they were already booked for that evening but she looked where both events were taking place and due to the closeness of them both was able to accommodate us.

Eric Jones, you blessed our wedding in an amazing way! I don't know what more to say. Under his musical direction, he and his trio (trumpet, upright bass) beautifully executed the music at our ceremony and cocktail reception. From jazz standards to spirituals to gospel, they nailed it. It was beautiful, uplifting and a moving accompaniment to our special day. THANK YOU!

The Blue-Grass trio that we hired to play for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour received RAVE reviews from all of our guests. During the ceremony the music was PERFECT and simply beautiful! My only disappointment was that I WASN'T there to enjoy them more, as we were whisked away for wedding photos. Guests said on several occasions how amazing the band was all the way down to their attire and equipment, they received several compliments on their microphone specifically. They were extremely professional and worked seamlessly with my wedding planner Andrea Harper of Gray-Harper Event Maker. Thanks to the wonderful artists for making my event extra special!

The musician was very professional, prompt and was always smiling. My daughter was getting dressed for her wedding and could hear the music from the courtyard and stopped to listen. She said, "That sounds like wedding music." She thought the music was coming from the hotel. Her sister said," That's your wedding music being played." We were worried that having a small wedding without attendance that the songs she had picked out would be too long but Mr. Povie made a short version work out perfectly. At the reception he had our one year old granddaughter dancing around the room. He helped make our daughter and new son's wedding day, Perfect.

Our Violinist was Jadde. She played absolutely beautifully. Our ceremony ran a little behind and she played through it all anyway. I was very pleased with her and my family had a chance to speak with her, they said she was very professional. Having a violinist instead of a DJ in our romantic park wedding, was the perfect way to go. It set the tone for the entire ceremony. I loved it. Thank you so much Jadde!!

Kristin with New Arts Ensembles is a wealth of knowledge! She sat down with us almost a full year prior to the wedding and discussed what our needs were. She helped us decide on a single violin for a ceremony on the beach in Tybee Island. Not only was she able to recommend songs we might like she also was able to help us find other local vendors for our wedding. Since we don't live in the area this was extremely helpful! Kristin was in contact with me all the way up till the wedding day and ensured that the violinist had all the needed information. The violinist showed up on time and played beautifully for the ceremony! It was truly perfect! What a talented group of people! We met with Kristin King of New Arts Ensembles. My daughter had some very specific requests musically and Kristin was able to play them for us on her harp to give us an idea of what this would sound like for the wedding. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. My daughter's wedding was a destination wedding and since we live in Ohio, much of the work for the wedding was done through email. Kristin was our contact point and she was very responsive to our questions. The ceremony music helped to make the day even more magical.

I called Kristen at New Arts Ensembles with less than one month from wedding day and she moved at light speed to get me musicians. We had 100 guest at our forsyth park wedding and Kristen me up with a guitarist (Eric) and a violinist (jade) who played as my guest got to the park (more traditional music) and when my wedding party went down the isle, they played with a little help from my friends- the Beatles- When my Dad and I walked down the isle, we had them play Neil young's heart of gold 9my dad and I both love this song and also, it was fitting because my dad had just had a heart transplant back in February), and my favorite thing that they played was as husband and I kissed and turned to walk down the isle, they play Ray lamontages You are the best thing. I was worried about how that would sound with just a guitar and violin but it was perfect and was very recognizable to everyone what the song was! I am so glad that I had them at my wedding as opposed to trusting one of my friends to do music with an iPod or something like that!! Kristen sent me a song list from the guitarist and I was able to pick from that the main songs I wanted and with less than 1 week from the wedding, they were willing to learn the ray lamontage song for me. True perfection! Love them

Kristin worked magic in a very short period of time for our ceremony! We first contacted her about a month out from our ceremony and had no ceremony music booked yet. She was able to work with us and find exactly what we wanted! She was so quick to respond to emails and we ended up booking Stan Ray as our guitar soloist. He was perfect! Kristen King and New Arts Ensemble were wonderful to work with! Their music is absolutely gorgeous and you can listen to clips on their website. I felt like I was getting a private harp recital when meeting with Kristen to decide on the music selections for our ceremony. The date of our wedding was drawing near and we hadn't found musicians for our ceremony. We had put an add on Craigslist and were about to put up flyers- we were looking for something unusual and it was an idea that was proving difficult to manifest. We wanted a 'medicine band' with a gypsy sound for our steampunk theme wedding. We were recommended to contact New Arts Ensembles which have connections in Savannah- Kristin King invited us to hear Velvet Caravan play and introduce us to Ricardo Ochoa. Ricardo was playing the violin with another member on the guitar- a clarinet then joined in and we knew immediately that they were perfect for our ceremony with their gypsy-jazz sound! The ceremony was perfect- Velvet Caravan was amazing!!! Many of our guests were so impressed that they asked if CD's were available. I can't thank Ricardo and Velevet Caravan enough for playing at our wedding, it was wonderful~

I was referred to New Arts Ensembles by our wedding coordinator and they did not disappoint. Kristin was very helpful and extremely courteous.

We hired a single cellist to perform at our intimate wedding ceremony. My wife and I were not 100% familiar with what would be needed at our wedding ceremony and Kristin was extremely helpful in guiding us on music selections and the musician needed for what we wanted to accomplish.

I had a cellist, harpist, and violinist at my wedding from the New Arts Ensemble, and they played beautifully!! We chose solo harp and it was beautiful. They even arrived in the middle of a tornado warning - on time, professional, no complaints. They can also give you direction on some song choices if you need assistance.

New Arts Ensemble provided a trio of stringed instruments for our daughter's wedding.They provided pre-wedding music, music during the ceremony and after the completion of the ceremony during the cocktail hour. Beautiful classical music that really enhanced the ambience of our outside garden wedding. Although we had a large number of guests (360) all of the music could be heard by all. Many favorable comments about how wonderful the music was. We are a musical family so this was really important to us. Professional, courteous, on-time musicians that added an elegant touch!

My ceremony was held at Whitefield Chapel at the Bethesda Home for Boys. Which, is actually where I first met Ricardo from New Arts Ensemble while I was shooting a wedding he played at! I had also met Kristen (sp) at a few other weddings and just knew I had to have a harp player at well! I selected music by Alexandre Desplat from "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" The music was perfect! I walked into my ceremony and cried. The music was so moving to hear in person. It will be a memory I never forget. They made my ceremony so special and meaningful! I had several guests come up to me and tell me how wonderful the music was. We LOVED the violinist and cellist that played at our wedding ceremony. They played songs I selected from Pride and Prejudice, and were very willing to learn an extra song for us. The music was perfect for each part of our ceremony, and they adapted the songs to the length we needed so elegantly. The cost was very reasonable, and for what we got from them, very well spent. We booked Kristin as our harpist for our big day! When I told my fiance' that I wanted a harpist, he was a bit skeptical. I think he expected someone stuffy and traditional. Kristin is anything but stuffy and is only traditional if you want her to be. We wanted more contemporary music and she delivered everything we asked for. We didn't want the wedding march or canon in D. We asked for Moon River, Once Upon a Dream from Sleeping Beauty (my fave) and others and she knew them all and played them beautifully. Her music brought tears to my eyes at the preview we set up with her before the wedding.

Ricardo with New Arts Ensembles played the violen for me at my ceremony. He was a charm! He learned a song that I wanted played when I walked down and he nailed it!! New Arts Ensembles was great to work with on getting thing together!

I had a wonderful experience with New Arts Ensembles. They respond very quickly and are a pleasure to deal with. When I contacted them, asking for a cellist to play at my wedding, they were able to find one who was available at short notice and had a contract ready for me to sign that same afternoon. They even gave me the cellist's personal phone number so that I could discuss additional song choices with her. Everything worked out so well. I would definitely recommend New Arts Ensembles for event music needs.

Although, I personally did not get to hear Craig, the guitarist and vocalist, play or sing, many of the guests at our wedding said he was fantastic (I was the bride and we took pictures during the cocktail hour so I missed his performance). I really wish that I would have been able to hear him but I believe that he did a great job. His playlist was awesome and he seemed enthusiastic about being flexible and playing music that our guests would enjoy. Thank you Craig and New Arts Ensembles!

not 1 wrong note, her playing is sheer perfection!
she is warm, professional, kind and lovely!
she learned a special song for us and emailed it to me ahead of time, it is sooooo beautiful!

New Arts Ensembles was super easy to work with. Anytime I had a question my email was responded to in no time! It was very hard for me to choose music for the cello but they helped guide me in the right direction and I could not have asked for more. I loved that Annalise could play some of my more comtemporary choices to make my day that more personal. Although I did not get to hear much of the music my guests and husband said it was beautiful and the perfect selection to have for our historic square wedding.

Our ceremony music was very simple and we loved it! We wanted a solo violinist to play for an hour. We requested that 3 particular songs be played - 2 of which we provided the sheet music for her to learn ahead of time (which they charged a nominal fee for). We were very pleased with the way everything turned out!!

I hired a flutist and a harpist for my wedding ceremony from New Arts Ensembles. They played beautifully and were very professional. They perform and tons and tons of weddings all around the area so they definitely know what they are doing and it shows. They were willing to learn a couple of specific songs that I asked to be played at our ceremony and it all sounded beautiful. I was very happy with them.

Our daughter's ceremony music was beautiful. Lorraine Smith offered to play selections for her prior to the wedding to help her plan the ceremony. She was also present for the rehearsal and offered suggestions. Everyone was on schedule, the soloist that she recommended was wonderful as was the 4 piece group with trumpet. They were quite professional and I would recommend them highly. In addition, our guitarist, Craig, was really good. I was not at the cocktail hour the entire hour, but his sound in the courtyard of the Mansion was wonderful. My daughter really liked his playlist and the guests mentioned how Craig added to the cocktail hour.
