Excellent!

They are so sweet and fun! They played all of our songs we requested, including some they knew we would love. Letting me grab the mic at the end was fun as well. Very professional when planning!

We had a wonderful experience with Nerdy Boyz doing my daughter's wedding and reception music!!

Nerdy Boyz was so easy to work with and I didn't have to do anything at the wedding, I knew it would be handled in a very professional manner. I love Alex and would use them and refer them to anyone who needs a DJ.

Best DJ in Alabama! NerdyBoy was very professional at my grandsons birthday . They followed all of the instructions that I gave them and they played all of the songs that I requested. They were dressed appropriate for my event and showed up early to setup. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great DJ. Thanks NerdyBoy and God bless.

I used Nerdy Boys for my 20 year HS reunion & they were awesome! They kept the crowd entertained and took our requests. Alex was easy to work with ahead of time & answered my questions in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend these guys and would totally use them again!!

We’ve been working with Alex and co for the best part of a year, trying to plan a wedding from 2,000 miles away. We always knew that the distance could cause potential challenges, but Alex made the whole process painless. It grew to become a truly collaborative effort and we’re grateful that Alex was a part of the team. From sourcing quotes on every wild idea we came up with to suggesting realistic solutions to problems to showing up at the venue the day before to get everything set up, Alex and is crew were consistently professional, creative, and hardworking. We can’t thank them enough for playing such an important role in our wedding and doing it so well. Thanks guys!

Great bunch of guys! They did a wonderful job! The dance floor was always full, and we had a VERY mixed crowd (1 year old to 93 years old). Everybody had a blast! They also met with me in Mobile and talked business while they were on vacation. Highly recommended!!++

I am so very happy that we chose Nerdy Boy Productions as our Dj for our wedding! They played exactly what we wanted and even added a few songs that got people up and dancing. They were extremely professional and very sweet and Alex helped me with stuff I hadn't even thought about. I will most certainly recommend them to anyone I know looking for a Dj! This entire staff made our day the best- ever. If there was a problem, we didn't know about it. They were all very professional, FUN, and never once complained about the heat (our wedding was outside in mid July). We can't say enough good things about these guys. BOOK THEM!

They were absolutely the best! They made my daughters wedding even better than we thought it could be. So accommodating and the best top of the line equipment and crew! Nerdy Boy Productions was absolutely awesome!! My DJ double booked me and I found out about 8 days before our wedding. I immediately began searching for a DJ. I called Alex and told him the situation and he immediately said that they would help me as much as possible. He went above and beyond! He met with me the week of the wedding to get my song list and to go over contracts and such. The DJs were great! They were very friendly and professional at what they do! I felt very at ease once they got there and just automatically knew exactly what to do! They were extremely helpful with music! They did the ceremony and reception music perfectly! I couldn't ask for a better DJ or a better experience with one! Thanks so much for the great service! Y'all made our wedding a success!

Everything went wonderfully! The meeting to set up and sign the contract was a breeze. On the day of the wedding, the boys were very professional and on time as promised! They even let us spin the turn table at our reception! :) Make sure you get the fog machine! Well worth it!! Thanks for giving us exactly what we had pictured!

Thank you for helping out last minute! I called 2 days before our wedding in a panic and they were so helpful and did everything they could to take the stress off of me. So thankful things worked out the way they did because Ryan(our dj) was awesome! So attentive to what we wanted. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dj for any event.

My daughters wedding day was cold and rainy and was supposed to be held outdoors. The weather was completely unexpected and we had no back up plan. These guys stayed and worked in misting rain and cold wind. They did not ask to wrap up early nor did they complain. The wedding party built a fire and danced in the rain and had a wonderful time. These guys are awesome and at one point I looked up and they were dancing as well! They love what they do and it made our event even better. Awesome guys!!

I have to ditto everyone's comments. Alex gave us top notch entertainment. Five stars for me all the way around. Don't second guess this choice. Nerdy Boy's dj'd our back yard wedding reception on Saturday 27 June, just last week. Everyone had a wonderful time dancing and singing along or just boogieing in their seats! Very easy to work with, especially in preparation for the wedding. It was easy and one of the least stressful parts of planning our wedding. They worked with us and were very flexible when rain put a wrench in the original plans; they were eager to please, very nice, and tried to accommodate as best as possible. Wonderful!!!

So Happy!! Wonderful DJ! Played music within the genres I suggested. Truly listened to my no play list. Very professional & very easy to work with. When my hubby wanted to cut a song/dance short they faded it out nicely. I cannot compliment them enough! Would use again for another event ANY day!

Alex and his team did a fantastic job as DJ for our wedding. He provided sound/music for our outdoor ceremony, outdoor cocktail hour, and indoor reception. The quality of service for all three events was top notch and Alex was always happy to oblige any requests we had. Although he has an incredibly large selection of music, we wanted to use some very unique musical pieces throughout our ceremony and reception, which Alex did not have. He happily purchased all the necessary music without charging us an additional fee. He also incorporated personal songs we created and sent from our home computer.

Alex was a joy to work with on the wedding day and throughout the planning process. He was always courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited for us. He acted with the upmost professionalism, even when there was a small dispute about the contract (which he settled quickly and kindly).

We did have a few tiny missteps during the night, although this is owed more to my lack of communicating details rather than anything Alex did. We had a lot of moving parts during our wedding (most of them unique and off-beat) and Alex handled everything gracefully and kept the party moving smoothly. The music was fantastic all night, guests kept dancing until the very last minute!

I would highly recommend Alex & Nerdy Boy Productions to anyone looking for DJ services!

This DJ and his team were absolutely wonderful! They provided the sound system and ran the music for our wedding ceremony and did a fabulous job as well as made our reception fun for everyone! They are punctual, provide quality service and are careful to make sure you get everything you ask for!!

Alex and the other DJ that accompanied him for our wedding were INCREDIBLE!!! They did our music for both ceremony and reception. He had perfect timing with all of the ceremony music just going based off of a list that I had sent to him. As each group of attendants finished walking in the music was faded perfectly and overall the ceremony music was done perfectly! Then on to the reception. Although it was rainy and humid as all get out, my guests had the time of their life because of the life these guys brought to the party that night. Alex definitely went off of a suggestion list that I had given him and also played like songs as well as requests from the guests. I don't know that I have ever danced that hard in my life! My guests loved how much energy they kept going throughout the entire reception. As the bride, I was so happy to see all of my guests having such a great time and especially to see my new husband out there cutting a rug dancing (he typically will not dance in front of anyone!). The DJs even appeared to be having just as much fun as all of the guests which I think helped the energy level. We told Alex exactly what we wanted and he exceeded any and all expectations! I will DEFINITELY be recommending them to anyone and everyone that I know! Thank you guys so much for everything that you did, you definitely make a lasting impact for my wedding night!

We hired Nerdy Boy Productions for a fundraising event. They were professional and really engaged the crowd of teens. We have hosted this event many times before, this time we had great feed back from the kids - stating - they would be great for our Homecoming and Prom dances. The DJ's were young and could relate well to the teens and that made it more authentic when they interacted with the crowd.

Nerdy Boy Productions was a a true joy to work with. They were very professional and had top notch equipment and plenty of staff to execute the event. The sound and light quality was awesome and their rates were very competitive. Alex and his crew were great and we were lucky to be able to work with them on our event.

The Nerdy Boys did an amazing job at my wedding!!! They had three setups - ceremony, cocktail, and reception. The music selections were perfect and quality amazing. And I absolutely loved their colored LED up lighting. They matched my orchid violet color perfectly!!! Thank you for being part of my perfect day!!

I would highly recommend this D.J. service. They showed up early and set up. They were well prepared for a variety of needs as far as equipment. They were friendly and engaging. We had them come for our church's fall festival. They had a great music selection. They handled announcements and prize drawings and freed me up to do other things that day. I was extremely well pleased.

DJ Nerdy Boy Productions quite literally MADE my wedding! Their professionalism mingled with a true care for their clients. Not only did they do a flawless job with our ceremony music for an outdoor wedding, but they also turned out an amazing party for the reception! They played all requests very quickly! Their set up was perfect and timely. The DJs were very friendly and kept a good eye on the crowd, playing exactly what needed to come next to keep us all going. Bottom line, I would recommend them to anyone!

Nerdy Boy Productions came with their DJ services for my Birthday Party. I had never heard of them before but found their website online. I called and they were super helpoful and firendly and even came out before the show to make sure that they knew exactly how I wanted everything setup and done before party day. Honestly, they made the party and their services were above and beyond. I have never known such great customer service, anything we requested that they didn't have that downloaded at that instant. Trust me when I say that it was so worth it! I'm greatful that I went with them and will for sure be using them again in the future.

Alex and Ryan did a wonderful job at our spring dance. We have used them for the last couple of years and they always do a terrific job. I'm at a middle school and they do a great job of playing clean music that the kids all enjoy. I will definitely use their services again.

Our school used Nerdy Boy Productions for the prom and our Relay for Life event. They were awesome! The kids (and the teachers!) had a great time. The DJs had access to every song requested, and the lights and smoke machine made dancing even more fun. I would definitely recommend their services!

Nerdy Boy Productions installed an amp in our existing sound system in our Multi-Purpose Facility. They did great work, and the sound system now sounds terrific.

The DJ's were great!!!! Very responsive and helpful picking songs! Only had one little mishap at the reception with the music, due to miscommunication, but they did an awesome job with the ceremony and reception music and were very friendly!!!! Wpuld definitely use them again!!!

I'll start backwards, our After Party was FANTASTIC in a party setting these are great DJ's. The energy and professionalism we they brought was a great time.
However as for weddings the experience is limited and left much to be desired.
I made a timeline for announcements and songs that were to be played, nothing crazy just a general checklist I got offline that I filled in the blanks so they could have something to go by.
Ceremony - Wrong music played, different versions than what we requested were played. Reception Entrance - We picked a specific song for our parents and wedding party to come out to, they came out to NO MUSIC!?!? And their names were butchered. We made a entrance video which was PAUSED as in we came out to NO MUSIC!?!? I had gestured for it to keep playing but it was really frustrating.
Also all the announcements were announced like a question, there is definitely some polishing that needs to be done there.
There were a lot of dead-air and awkward silent moments, we sat there mortified, finally the groom went to speak to them and it went smoothly from there on.
But when we asked if they'd stay an extra hour they asked for more money, honestly with the way the beginning went and knowing we were upset it would have been a great gesture just to do and we would have been satisfied. But we paid the extra hour anyway and are left feeling so-so about it.
Would you recommend this vendor to a friend? I wish there was an in between here. I'll respond Yes but it would really depend on the person on if I'd recommend them or not.

Hard to communicate with

I had a hard time getting in touch with him. Sometimes it would be over a week before I would get a response back. I understand it is a busy time but going several days with no response is unacceptable.
