Best vendor for my April wedding
Nectar customs did an amazing job from start to finish for my wedding! She was accommodating when I needed to post pone my wedding. She said even if she had another wedding she would still be there for mine! She answered every email, phone call and even offered me to come in at any time and made a preview bouquet for me while planning! Her flowers are so fresh and lasted for weeks! I would recommend anyone in the capital region to use Nectar Custom Floral Design! The best part was I loved supporting a small business!

Amazing & talented local florist
Like many other couples in 2020 we had to rearrange our wedding plans multiple times, going from a spring to a summer to finally a winter wedding. Stacey with Nectar Florist was amazingly flexible throughout it all and did everything to accommodate our changing plans and vision. As an indecisive bride she was able to help me pick the flowers and color scheme that best matched my vision! And then when we changed seasons and our springtime flowers were no longer the right fit she quickly provided her expert opinion to help us choose another look. Stacey was very receptive and responded quickly to all of our questions. On the day of the wedding she was on time and dropped off our flowers at our requested location. The flowers she arranged for us were absolutely beautiful!! They were the perfect pop of bright colors and all of our guests commented on how stunning the bouquets were. We were extremely happy to work with Stacey for our wedding flowers and will be giving her our business for years to come!

The flowers were absolutely beautiful. Stacey does amazing work! I got so many compliments the day of my wedding. From our experience in the past, if you tell Stacey what you want, you will get exactly that and it will be amazing. Amazing florist for Capital Region weddings!
Nectar Custom Florals and the head florist, Stacey, did an amazing job for our late October wedding! Stacey had done the flowers for my friend's wedding and was highly recommended to me. After my own experience, I would highly recommend Stacey to any Capital Region bride. I showed Stacey a few pictures of bouquets that I liked and she planned and priced out options for me. Her prices are super reasonable without sacrificing quality! We had a mid-pandemic wedding, and when we changed locations and scaled back on our order a couple of months before the wedding, she was totally flexible about removing a few items and changing a couple of arrangements to fit our new wedding plans. There was a lot to worry about with changing our wedding plans, but fortunately Stacey was so helpful and communicative that there was one less thing to worry about!

Stacey met with me about a year before my wedding and then again a month ish (can't remember) before. This was during Covid times and she followed all protocols.
Guys.... My flowers lasted OVER A MONTH!! I kept them on my front porch, in my kitchen, living room etc. They lasted over a month and were still looking fresh. I dried my wedding bouquet once it started getting old looking, and it still dried amazingly. I have it on display in my house now.

Stacey is absolutely amazing to work with. My final appointment was the day before she needed to order the flowers for our wedding. We spent an hour going over the details one final time. After we paid and were ready to walk out I changed my entire order! Stacey was so patient and sat back down to start over with me. I showed her one picture from pinterest to be the inspiration and I let her run with it. The final product exceeded all expectations that I had!! I received SO many compliments on my flowers. Stacey was able to take my vision and bring it to life. She is very creative and produces pieces that are very unique. It was busy & prom season when we met with Stacey about the flowers for our wedding, but she gave us her undivided attention. Stunning arrangements with unexpected detail
We chose Stacey as our florist for our wedding and we are so happy with the way our floral came out. Working with Stacey is a breeze, she is super professional and detailed and it shows in her work. We had some unique design requests and she nailed it with her own unexpected twists. The unexpected details in her floral design really made our arrangements stand out. They were delicate, artsy and fit the mood of our wedding perfectly. They looked naturally beautiful and freeform just as I wanted them. Words cannot describe how blown away I was with our arrangements that Stacey put together. We went to meet with Stacey during a planning trip and immediately knew we were making the right decision. We gave Stacey a budget and general concept and she blew us away. I did not have too many flower preferences besides lots of white local/in bloom flowers and greenery. The centerpieces she put together had such amazing height, depth and character. The bouquets were perfect and the flower crown for my flower girl was so cute. Stacey was so easy to work with and accommodating during the last week of planning to add additional arrangements to the space. She knew our venue well (Saratoga National) and created an extraordinary look for an incredibly fair price. I keep going back and looking at the pictures of the space and know it would not have been the same without Stacey! I cannot recommend Stacey and Nectar Custom Floral Designs enough. We’re so happy that we had Nectar Custom Floral Design as our wedding florist! Stacey was great to work with, and all of the flower arrangements were stunning. My wedding was back in August at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga NY. I wanted to write this review because I am so thankful for being recommended Nectar Custom Floral Designs and particularly Stacey! I am not very seasoned in flowers and their names but I did walk in with a vision in mind. Stacey spent a lot of time with me trying to understand what exactly I wanted and had A LOT of patience with making my vision come to life. I putt off finding a florist for my wedding way longer then I should have, but Nectar had no problem accommodating us. I know nothing about flowers and gave them full reign on which ones would work best. They showed up early and set up all the flowers for us. There are not enough wonderful things I could say about Stacey at Nectar Custom Floral Designs. I guess I'll start with this - my mind was literally blown by the beauty of the center piece arrangements and bouquets! The quality of flowers used were par to none. And her interpretation of my vision couldn't have been more perfect. I provided Stacey with a 14 page pdf of 2x2 photos from Pinterest and a menagerie of bullet points to illustrate my vision. I asked her to combine all those bullets to make our arrangements but asked her to make each it's own piece of floral art within a pallet of colors and textures. She did just that! And they were so amazingly beautiful it made me cry! She was the easiest of all my vendors to work with going back and forth several times with seemingly limitless patience. We used a combination of white and burgundy peonies, hot pink and ivory garden Rose's, amaranthus, snap dragons, campunelas, silver Bruins and many different kinds of eucalyptus! She crafted a 10 foot Garland that I still cant believe was real and also provided two giant arrangements in milk jugs we gave to her from our farm! The bouquets were each different but beautifully complimented each other. I literally cannot say enough good things!!! And probably most important to brides - the value! Everything I wanted Stacey gave me. I was very specific in the designs that I wanted and she was able to give me everything I asked for and more for an amazing price. We were able to provide her with all the extra materials as well to keep the cost down and she worked with us every step of the way! Our flowers were absolutely perfect they came out better than I could have expected. She did everything from setting up our ceremony decor to reception to making sure the little girls all has enough flowers. She was absolutely amazing and made the whole wedding beautiful with her flower arrangements!

After almost settling with fake flowers, my husband and I finally found this vendor -- and we are so happy we did! Nectar was the most reasonably priced florist in the Capital District. Stacey was easy to work with, and helped us to choose flowers that would go well with our colors and preference. The flowers were delivered to our venue and were all correct and beautiful. The centerpieces were set up for us so we did not have to worry about it. Overall we highly recommend!

Tears of joy poured out of me when I saw my gorgeous bouquet and flowers from Nectar Custom Floral Designs!!! Stacey was wonderful and easy to work with! She met with me in person in her shop before I even booked her to discuss my ideas and just talk about my big day. She is so knowledgeable of flowers and knew every flower from my pinterest favorites. Her prices were fair and well in my budget. She communicated everything very well, answered all of my emails throughout the year and we had a final meeting a month before my wedding to finalize everything. She wasn't scared to use tulips (my favorite flower) in September and she made all Pinterest ideas come to life with creative whiskey barrel arrangements, shotgun shell boutonnieres and tulip centerpieces. The flowers were all large, lovely, luscious and they lasted over a week! They smelt great as well! I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend Stacy and Nectar!

Nectar Custom Floral Designs did an amazing job from start to finish! At our initial consultation Stacey took her time to learn what my vision was and overall made the process painless because I had very little knowledge about flowers when we first met. When she delivered the flowers the morning of my wedding I was blown away because it was exactly what I wanted and more!! Not only were the flowers perfect, but she took my vision and made it so much more beautiful than I ever dreamed. The flowers were extremely fresh and by the end of the night all of the flowers were in excellent condition! Most importantly, Stacey not only made it all work within my budget, and it was actually much more affordable than what I had expected to pay before I met with her initially.

Stacey was great! I had a great experience and she really delivered to my vision of my bouquet and the theme of our fall wedding! Upon meeting her, I showed her an idea of what I had wanted for our wedding and boy did she deliver, I received so many compliments on all of the bouquets. She even put together 2 flower arrangements for the gazebo in which we were getting married in and they were able to transport them inside after the ceremony to still be shown off inside for the reception! The flowers lasted overnight without water and my girls and my mom were able to keep their bouquets going in vases after the wedding day and they still looked beautiful!

Beautiful work, Nectar always comes through with gorgeous, professional arrangements to make any event spectacular. I love our wedding flowers today as much as I did almost 7 years ago. My family used her incredible talent and expertise again this past summer for my sister's wedding, the bouquets and arrangements were unlike any I had ever seen. She took our ideas, however vague and ill-described they may have been, and made the arrangements more beautiful than we could have anticipated. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend to work with Stacey at Nectar Custom Floral. She can take your idea or vision, and just run with it. She does amazing work, and is very detail oriented. After meeting with Stacey, we felt very comfortable with her. She seemed to understand our vision and what we wanted. Her prices were very reasonable. She even took a piece of my moms wedding dress and wrapped my bouquet with it. We did have two floral arrangements we used in the reception and I had envisioned those being a little bigger. I was surprised the next day when I saw how small they were. I was happy with my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets. It was very busy the morning of my wedding but I know the flowers were delivered late. I had to give directions to my apartment that morning via phone

Awful Bouquet!
This is the first time I felt compelled to write a negative review online. When my wedding bouquet arrived, we were all in shock by how awful it was! I specifically asked for no greenery and half of it was green. A few of the lily buds weren’t even bloomed. Also, it was supposed to be a cascading bridal bouquet and it certainly didn’t cascade down. It would barely pass as a bridesmaid bouquet. It’s more like a flower arrangement one would have sitting on a kitchen table during Sunday brunch. I didn’t use this bouquet for my wedding at all. Luckily we had a backup fake bouquet that I used instead (see photo). My bridesmaids used winter muffs so we didn’t have a flower issue there. Not only was my bridal bouquet and epic fail, the corsages were underwhelming. They had two tiny rose buds clipped onto a wristband. All the flowers looked like they had been sitting in a cooler for a number of days before we received them. I was embarrassed to pass them out, but we didn’t have backup corsages. I’m so glad we used a different florist for the floral decorations and centerpiece at the wedding. The boutonnières came out fine, but even they looked like they had been sitting around in a cooler. I don’t recommend Nectar Floral.
