Our love story

Having a videographer is one of the things we went back and forth about due to budget and ensuring we prioritize what we believed was most important. As we continued to plan we realized a videographer was definitely a nonnegotiable. As soon as we found Nelson’s page and viewed his beautiful work we decided to reach out to him. Nelson was super easy to communicate with. His energy was easygoing and helped assure us that we had nothing to worry about and sure enough we did not. After receiving our video and seeing the beautiful way Nelson captured our love, our family and friends and took into consideration our choice of music we are so happy and grateful to have chosen Nelson as our videographer. Our video makes us feel like we are reliving that special day again and we believe that is exactly what every couple deserves. Best crew for destination weddings!

I worked with this crew while planning my destination wedding in San Juan. While I had many bumps in the wedding planning I never had to worry about these guys. They were great at communicating and worked very hard to get us our wedding video back within two weeks! I would definitely recommend working with them.

Great Experience!

Nelson was super communicative and very flexible in letting us add additional hours to the service a couple of days before the wedding. We received the teaser video a couple of days after the wedding and the rest of the videos came at a timely manner. Loved the variety of options to choose from (teaser, highlights, main feature, etc). He let us choose songs for the highlight video which was very nice to be able to personalize. All the videos turned out great!

Beautiful wedding videos!

Nelson did such a great job with our wedding videos! He really understood our vision and how we wanted our memories preserved in motion. Our wedding was a month ago today, and watching them makes me cry as if it was happening all over again. He was very easy to work with and was very responsive in his communication. He also delivered so FAST without sacrificing quality. I 100% recommend him. You get so much quality and quantity at a very fair price!

An amazing experience and keepsake

Nelson was amazing the entire day. So nice and professional. He and his assistant were so helpful and they worked well with my photography team.
We absolutely loved our highlights trailer the days after the wedding! It captured the best moments from the day!!

Nelson and his team impressed us so much with their attentiveness, care, energy, and genuine interest in our wedding. I didn't have to ask for any special shots or moments--they made sure to think of it and grab it for us so we didn't have to pull away from the moment to remember getting a shot of one thing or another. While we were booking suppliers a few months before the big day, we were not sure if we wanted a videographer, as we had already a photographer. Fast-forward today… we are thankful we ended up with NDF Film. After reviewing some of his amazing work on social media we felt in love with NDF and book them immediately. The fact is, in the end, and many years from now, your wedding will be a good memory, and with a video you can relive that moment anytime.
Nelson and his team were able to capture our day perfectly. Each video (wedding film, highlights, teaser, etc) was edited beautifully, exceeding our expectations. We definitely recommends NDF Film without a doubt!

We were on the fence on whether we wanted to go past our budget for a videographer, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Nelson and his crew were responsive and extremely professional. They worked seamlessly with our photographer and were tons of fun to be around. They made us feel like absolute movie stars. And oh my gosh – the product! We were more and more amazed with each deliverable – the trailer, then the highlights, then the full feature. They so perfectly captured the day and our vibe (we had him select the music, and so glad we did.) It brought us back to that time and the moment in a way we could not have imagined. Awesome videographer!!

NDF films were beyond amazing to work with! Very efficient in their work but even in preparing for the big day, everything went smoothly and they were so easy to communicate with! They made me feel calm & confident in front of the camera. I could not have asked for a better team. Let’s not forget I received my highlight video within days of my wedding!!! Unmatched service

I haven’t seen our final product yet, but NDF films was so great to work with! I’ve seen their other videos, and they were phenomenal. He was so fun to have on our day, though, so helpful, and so reasonably priced. They brought a drone for shots. I wasn’t expecting that! So cool.

NDF did an amazing work

I am very happy we decided to hire NDF to capture our videos. Nelson and his assistant were amazing: patient, profesional, creative and they seemed to love their job. Our wedding was October 9, 2021 and a week later Nelson gave us our videos: very nice work which we loved. I love photos but i really wanted to also have video because to me its like having the capability to relive those magical moments. Also i want to mention that i have done quite some research and videography is not cheap but NDF has responsable prices for different budgets.

So great, there were two of them and they had a drone. They covered everything and we made sure to feed them since they were there just as long as us. They were really nice and I can't wait to see the video.

Beautiful videos!! Amazing to work with!

At the beginning of our wedding planning, we weren’t sure if we wanted to hire a videographer because we though the pictures would be enough. But it was THE BEST DECISION WE MADE to hire NDF Films. They captured every single moment of our wedding so perfectly!! Every time I watch the video I tear up remembering the beauty of the day. Nelson is truly the best!! He even captured moments we didn’t remember but it was so sweet to watch, like the big hug my husband gave me while we stood in a corner anxiously waiting to go in the ballroom and join our guests. Nelson and his team made working with them so easy, we felt so comfortable the whole day. So so happy we decided to hire them for our wedding!! The videos are just breathe taking!! Best in the business!!

After my wedding planner showed me various videographers works I decided on NDF films. Boy did I made the right decision. Nelson, surpassed my expectations. A must have for weddings!

Nelson and NDF FIlms was fantastic. I was on the fence about hiring a videographer, but so happy that my wife convinced me to get one. After re-living our wedding with the videos that Nelson and his team created, its absolutely a no-brainer. His team is professional, attentive to our needs, easy to work with and never felt like the cameras were in the way. We are so happy with the way the wedding videos were edited and turned out. Our Amazing Wedding Experience with NDF Films and Nelson DFreitas

We hired NDF Films and Nelson DFreitas as our wedding videography company. They were the absolute best. There is not another wedding videography company on the island of Puerto Rico or otherwise that could have done a better job for our wedding. They were highly professional, on time, reasonably priced, very easy to work with and they made our experience with them most enjoyable. Wedding Video of my Dreams!

The wedding video is something that many people question whether they should go for. After my experience with NDF films I would recommend them to EVERYONE! Their prices are very reasonable. They respond very quickly to emails. They come up with creative ideas. On the day of the wedding they were so gentle and unobtrusive. I felt like I was personally taken care of. The wedding video has melted my heart. It captures details that even though only a couple of months had passed, we had just forgotten. It really goes beyond pictures. Of course the video wouldn't be worth it if it were bad quality but Nelson and Sandra are incredibly talented. We were very impressed with the video, we can't stop watching it! You will never regret hiring NDF films.

So worth it!

I was debating if I should include videos for my wedding because we have already gone over the budget. So glad we chose the NDF films. Nelson and his team are extremely professional and efficient. The price is reasonable, and the finished work is such a fine piece of art. It brings back beautiful memories everytime when we watch it. Many of my friends say our wedding highlights is like a real movie. The scene was cut to match the songs seamlessly. The drone shots are very cool as well. Overall, very happy with their service and work.

Amazing Service!

First of all if you are doubting if you should hire a videographer let me stop you. YOU SHOULD! Nelson did an AMAZING JOB. Both the "coming soon", "highlight video" and complete video were absolutely amazing. I cried every time I saw them, even family and friends, and I saw the videos multiple multiple times :) His editing style looked as if you were watching a movie, effects were incredible. The day of the wedding he made you feel very relaxed, not posed or anything like that, he would mainly be more in the background capturing those special moments. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely chose NDF Films. Very professional service.

My husband and I literally cried tears of joy upon seeing the beautiful wedding film NDF created of our wedding day!! And we are totally addicted to watching our highlights video because it immediately transports us back to the most amazing day of our lives, focusing on all the best moments!!! We will never get tired of it.

We live in NYC and had our destination wedding at the beautiful Villa Montaña in Isabela, PR. At first we were a bit hesitant to hire a videographer, especially from so far away. However, as soon as we came across NDF’s work, we knew we had to!! We couldn’t be happier with our decision.

Not only did the NDF team capture gorgeous footage of our day, but they edited it into a cohesive yet simple storyline, and paired with the perfect music! The end result was elegant and uplifting. We even had a friend tell us our video looked like a finale from a romance film because it was so well done.

I can't say enough great things about Nelson and his team! From the beginning I wanted a videographer but my husband wasn't completely on board. Our wedding planner sent us Nelson's information, we looked at his website and started to get excited. Nelson took the time to have a call with us and discuss our wants and needs. We signed on immediately. We loved working with Nelson and his team. They were fun and made us feel completely comfortable. After a while we forgot they were even there. I can't tell you how thrilled we were when we received first the highlight video. This far exceeded any expectation we had. I found myself smiling. I shared the highlight on Facebook and everyone commented about how amazing the footage was. I would highly recommend the drone!!! It was so cool having the drone fly over our ceremony. When we received the final video, my husband and I sat down to watch it. It was 45 minutes long and captured everything we had asked for and more. My wife Shanell and myself just came back from a designation wedding in Puerto Rico in June and she hired NDF Films to videotape our wedding. I was apprehensive at first stating why do we need to get a videographer when we already are paying for a photographer. Man was I so wrong in my thinking. I was truly blown away by NDF Films professionalism, attention to detail and time capturing expertize. Everyone has mixed opinions about hiring a videographer for a wedding, but I am so glad my husband (reluctantly) and I decided to hire one because NDF Films was one of the best vendor choices we made. NDF did exactly as we asked and captured our night perfectly. Pictures are beautiful, but to really relieve your special night, a video is necessary. NDF Films is an outstanding filmmaker; I highly recommend them! We did the Package 2 High Definition with an additional videographer for a drone. Nelson and his team showed up to our hotel EARLY and began working immediately. They were professional, precise and diligent throughout the entire day. I had great communication with Nelson and Sandra throughout the whole process - from signing the contract, to effective online questionnaires, quick email responses and amazing turnaround times for any video edits I requested. During the reception, the MC reversed the names for our parents and Nelson was able to edit the video so it was said correctly - this meant so much to my husband and I. The MC also played the wrong version for our first dance song and Nelson corrected that too in the video! He did his absolute best to make sure everything was perfect. NDF Films refers to themselves as "storytellers" and that is definitely who they are - how they edited the footage and captured the heart of our wedding day in a 3 minute tear-jerking wedding highlight video was exceptional. What is also unheard-of, is that NDF Films was able to deliver this remarkable production after experiencing the worst natural disaster in Puerto Rico and without electricity for over 100 days. Thank you so much NDF Films for telling my wedding story. If you are planning a destination wedding and want one less thing to worry about, hire NDF Films, they are perfection!

We used Nelson and his staff for our wedding and we are soo glad we did. His work is absolutely amazing. A wedding is one of the most important days of someone's life, and to be able to relive it by watching a video is unbelievable. He sent us a questionnaire before the wedding where you can be very specific if there are any moments that you really want him to capture and it's great to have that communication to make it very personal. He also asked us for a few songs to add to the video and he did a great job incorporating them. I was mostly impressed with the video quality. It makes you feel like you are in the video. Everyone's reaction to watching the videos including ourselves were either speechless or eyes tearing. Those are amazing reactions and extremely worth it. You will be very pleased with Nelson's work. You will want to watch your videos over and over again.

Don't think twice, go with NDF Films for your wedding video! Everything about working with Nelson was EXCELLENT. Before, during, and after they exceeded my expectations. The wedding video was one of those things I was not sure we would be able to fit into our budget so we left it as one of the last items to decide on. I could not be happier we decided to add it and especially to go with NDF Films. When we told our photographer, he was very happy with our choice since they have worked together in the past and he had amazing things to say about Nelson (NDF Films).

Like I said before, don't think twice, You can rest assured it will be one of the best decisions you can make as a bride getting married in Puerto Rico. That is how I feel every time I watch my wedding video. There is no better way to relive your wedding than through NDF Films' lens.

We contracted NDF films in late 2015 for our destination wedding in September 2016. Originally, we did not plan on contracting a videographer; however, after reviewing NDF’s website we knew that our wedding wouldn't be complete without a high quality video. We met Nelson in person in March 2016 and was impressed with his professionalism. On the day of our wedding, Nelson and his assistant arrived and started filming. After a few moments, we forgot that they were there. NDF films even used a drone to capture aerial footage of our outside beach wedding. I cannot express how thankful we are for all of Nelson's hard work and talent. Before I booked NDF Films, I did a measurable amount of research on videographers in Puerto Rico. Viewing Nelson's work prior to the wedding was an absolute pleasure. I could easily tell he was very attentive to detail just by viewing his previous wedding videos. During our wedding he captured so many great moments and his highlights video brings us all to tears. Each scene is meticulously executed and we cannot be HAPPIER with the final product. Since the editing stages, he has been extremely patient with my requests and also with my musical choices :) He is very attentive and quickly responds to all of my emails.

Lance and I are so incredibly thankful, Nelson. Thank you for memorializing the happiest day of our lives with great skill and perfection . We will eagerly share these videos with our future children and grandchildren.

I am so, so pleased with NDF. During my wedding day, Nelson and his team were delightful to work with. They were extremely kind and friendly and also unobtrusive throughout the day. They worked well with our other vendors and coordinated appropriately so that our final product was as wonderful as it could possibly be.
I couldn't believe how amazing our wedding video came out! As someone who works in the film industry in New York, I was so impressed with the cinematography and storytelling capabilities. I had researched every videographer in Puerto Rico, and NDF was hands down the most impressive. It took us a while to get through watching our wedding video because my husband could not stop crying!! We had to take breaks during the viewing! That's how incredible it was!! My entire family wept, and I felt like Nelson perfectly captured our day. He did not miss anything! And, most importantly, the feelings that the video provokes match the ones we felt that day.

We were so lucky to have NDF Films document our wedding day. Originally, we were on the fence about having a Videographer but our wedding planner sent us two recommendations anyways just in case. I saw just one video on Nelson’s website and I knew I had to have him! I’m so glad I followed my gut because Nelson was beyond perfect! His communication was easy and he came on time the day of. Most of the day we barely noticed him as he and his assistant were very discrete. They did occasionally instruct us to do some more artistic shots which came out great. He is also so nice and friendly that we didn’t feel awkward at all. (We hate being filmed) We’ve watched the video and the highlights trailer so many times since he’s sent us the links and it always brings me back to that day. Everyone always says your wedding day flies by which you don’t really understand until your day comes. Nelson captured everything perfectly and we are able to have these videos to enjoy forever and relive our wedding day. We highly recommend Nelson and his company. Finding a quality wedding videographer at a reasonable price was not easy. I searched online and spoke with a few before hiring our coordinator. However, once I found our coordinator Wanda Garcia, she recommended NDF Films and we are so happy she did! They were not only professional and well priced, they exceeded our expectations in quality and creativity. We are extremely pleased with the end product! They did a tremendous job editing by incorporating all the important and special moments in our day. In addition, they were very responsive to our requests and very quick to satisfy our needs! Nelson D'Freitas from NDF Films is an artist. I learned about him on the internet and loved his work (wonderful image and sound!). He was also recommended by a friend that noted the quality of their work. Nelson and his entire team are very professional. They accomplished beautiful shots and allowed my husband and I to enjoy our wedding day to the fullest without continuing interruptions. I had some editing suggestions and they were managed very promptly. Since we got it we have watched it over 4 times with friends and family... we love it! It's like reliving our wedding day!!!

We planned our Puerto Rico destination wedding out of New York and quickly locked down on NDF based on their quality video samples and competitive price. We opted for the ultimate package that came with three cameramen and 10 hours of coverage. They didn't let us down on the wedding day! Nelson's team were very professional and brought a drone to the venue! They also offered to stay past their coverage time to capture the final moments of the reception, which we highly appreciated on our big day. It also turned out Nelson works a lot with our photographer Noel and we could tell there was smooth coordination between the two vendors. This is an aspect we didn't appreciate as much during wedding planning but on retrospect we feel very lucky we selected two excellent vendors that could work hand in hand with each other.

We really enjoyed working with NDF Films and would highly recommend it to other couples!

If I can give one piece of advice to any bride it would be to get a videographer. The day goes by so fast and you are so in the moment that it's hard to remember what goes on, not to mention all the things that you miss throughout the day. Nelson and his team perfectly captured every part of our wedding. From the small details to the big picture, my husband and I could not be happier with our video. It made us cry, laugh and want to watch again and again. His shots are creative and he's so kind. The communication leading up to and during the wedding was great. Highly recommend!

NDF films did an exceptional job capturing all the beautiful moments of my wedding. Numerous family and friends have said that it was hands down the best wedding video they had ever seen. After comparing several videographers, we hired NDF Films for our wedding in Old San Juan this year. Nelson was very professional and did a great job. Everything was smooth, from the day we signed the contract, till the day we received our video without any delays. The day of the wedding, they arrived early and captured every single moment. Nelson and his team did an exceptional job and captured so many special moments from our wedding. He was very responsive throughout the planning phase, making everything as seamless as possible. A couple of days before the wedding he requests you fill out a questionnaire where you include all the things he should capture the day of the wedding, song suggestions for the video, etc. I found this to be very helpful and all the requests came out in the video... and more! The summary and full length video came out even better than I could have ever imagined. A very beautiful piece that we will be watching over and over again for years to come :)

The only reference I had of NDF Films prior to selecting them as our videographers were the highlights/summary videos of other weddings they have on the website. After viewing several of them, I was convinced I wanted to hire them. The videos were beautifully put together. They made me laugh and cry... and it wasn't even my wedding!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Nelson, his wife Sandra, and camera crew. He arrived on time and was extremely professional. He went above and beyond from what was offered in our package.

Nelson has an undeniable talent for filmmaking. I knew we would get a great video, but the final product TOTALLY exceeded our expectations. Our wedding video is a fantastic collection of all the moments we lived that day. And thanks to NDF's work, we will treasure it forever.

Nelson and his staff definitely gave the extra mile to make this day unforgettable. The video captured all day from us getting ready, ceremony/reception being decorated, ceremony, brindis, first dance and party. Working with NDF fields was such a great experience! I asked him last minute and he was able to make it, we showed the video of our wedding at a reception we had for our family when we came home and everyone said it was the best wedding video they had ever seen! After posting it on Facebook I even had someone I don't know comment that it was so beautiful it made them cry! He provided us with a short highlight video and a video of the whole wedding, it was perfect!

Nelson was highly recommended to me by numerous other vendors including our photographer. I went with peoples recommendations and didn't actually get a chance to meet with Nelson and NDF myself, but they were amazing to work with. They replied within minutes to emails and had an extremely organized system for invoices and filling out all questionaires. NDF did both my rehearsal and my wedding day and they were amazing! Let me start by saying that my wife and I are extremely satisfied with our wedding video from Nelson (NDF Films) !! Nelson was recommended by our wedding planner, after seeing some of his sample videos we instantly liked them. He emailed us the contract and we placed a down payment by paypal (very convenient). His prices are fair and worth every penny. The down payment is reasonable (~25%) unlike other vendors (50%). On the day of the wedding he was punctual, professional and a delight to work with. He gave us an additional one-hour of coverage free of charge, just because he felt that it would be better for the final video. He was there from the very start to the very end, capturing every moment, but the majority of times we didn’t even notice him (he is that good). This is exactly what we wanted; we didn’t want someone who will constantly disturb the event to get “the perfect” shot. That being said, he did get perfect shots. The final product was fantastic. Everyone who saw the video loved it. The video was available online 3 months after the wedding (this is very quick). This was great because were able to share it with family and friends. Prior to the final DVD being sent out we asked Nelson to make a few minor changes, which he took care of instantly. Nelson is very professional, he always responses promptly by email and was always reachable by phone. He is a gentlemen and a great videographer. I highly recommend Nelson and NDF Films without any reservations, and I have no doubts that you will be completely satisfied in choosing NDF Films and Nelson.

Nelson and his company NDF Films are fantastic. We loved working with them. Nelson and his team bring an incredible pleasant, and fun attitude and are true professionals from start to finish. He made the whole process simple and enjoyable. Not only that, but he made himself available, answered all of our questions, and made us look great. We couldn't be happier with our video. He delivers a wedding 'trailer' which is a 7-8 minute highlight reel that is perfect for sharing with friends. The rest of you wedding film is delivered on bluray/dvd.
