  Kyra provided us with such an incredible experience, and we highly recommend her! She called us before our engagement photoshoot to go over important details and asked lots of questions to ensure our day was special and personalized. She made our photoshoot exciting and put us right at ease. We are not super photogenic, but Kyra was excellent at helping us feel relaxed and naturally posed. Afterwards, her partner Forrest edited the photos, and we received them all quickly. The photos were stunning and really captured our love along with the gorgeous background landscape. We couldn't thank her enough!

  Kira The Great: Destroyer of Frowns

  When My Wiiiiife and I hired Natural Unions, we expected photography. What we Didn't expect was light wedding planning, the ability for The Great Kira: Destroyer of Frowns to be able to help us locate an alternative wedding venue on short notice due to potential weather issues, AND for such exceptional local scouting for the most fantastic locations not only for portraits, but also the ceremony location itself. If you want the same boring overpriced stuff, hire someone else. If you want more fun than you bargained for, and unique lasting snapshots of your special day, hire Natural Unions.

  Wonderful Photographer in Every Way

  Natural Unions is the photographer to hire for your wedding or elopement! They were easy to work with from start to finish and did a beautiful job! Kira has a lovely way about her that makes one comfortable during what can be a stressful day. They were flexible, dependable, competent, and basically wonderful! The photos captured the emotion and romance of the day as there were lots of natural shots showing the fun, exciting, and sweet moments. Natural Unions captured the spirit of the day. I recommend them without reservation.

  Wedding photography in Big Trees State Park

  Epic adventure photographers

  Magical adventure!

  Natural Unions was an absolutely amazing experience that we'll never forget! I've never had so much fun and felt so beautiful while surrounded by epic vistas and sunsets! ...My husband and I are more seasoned hikers, so we went on more difficult treks, but Kira will always make sure the journey fits the traveler. And thanks to the combined talent of Forrest's post-editing, everyone who sees our photos is blown away like we were. In one picture, he somehow turned a day shot into a night shot with crazy editing magic. My husband and I don't just recommend, but demand, that if you're thinking about an outdoor photo adventure with Kira, do it! It's not just a photoshoot, it's an adventure with the person you love.

  10 Year Vow Renewal Adventure

  Our life together has been an adventure. I knew I wanted something special to encapsulate the essence of us for our 10 year vow renewal. Natural Unions' photography was perfect. The day was an adventure itself. They were flexible with our sporadic nature and changing weather. We went to many locations to find the Goldilocks of what we were looking for. When we verbalized our commitment to each other it was in the serenity of nature. The photos are absolutely breathtaking and ones we will cherish for the rest of life’s adventure together.
