Nathan knows weddings and we benefitted from his vast experience. He has ready-made packets of info and inspiration. Whatever song we wanted, he had it. He's got state of the art equipment, and even made us wedding CDs of our selections. Nathan was an excellent master of ceremonies and wedding DJ.

DJ Who Goes Above and Beyond
Nathan Wilkins will do EVERYTHING he can to make sure your special day is really special. He was the DJ for my daughter’s wedding on 1/7/2023 and he was excellent!! He worked up the crowd and got them involved and played great music. He did awesome games and was very entertaining overall. His light display was just like a dance club setting. He works extremely hard to make sure you get what you want. He works with your wedding coordinator to insure things go smoothly. You won’t be disappointed if you select Nathan as your DJ!!

Nathan Wilkins is without a doubt amazing! my wedding coordinator had failed to do her job but Nathan stepped up and made sure the day move smoothly and on time. His music selections were amazing. We had people in their 80s all way to those in their 20s dancing all night long we played the shoe game and did his cake cutting line dance. Those suggestions were awesome and people are still texting me how amazing those things were. I am beyond happy with choosing him to be my DJ. I honestly wish I had another big party happening so he could come be a DJ again for us.

Wonderful and Professional Experience
Working with Nathan Wilkins has been impressive and professional from the start. Upon meeting him at a wedding expo, his equipment, planning documentation, professionalism, and excitement for what he does drew us in. He met with us prior to our wedding to discuss initial questions, planning timelines, etc. He had been one of the most detail oriented wedding vendors we had, which made us feel significantly more comfortable for our wedding day. Him and his assistant set us up with incredible music and lighting and engaged our guests throughout the whole night. We have tons of pictures of people signing in to the mic and engaging in cool activities that Nathan shared with us. The best dj ever!
Nathan and his team are absolutely INCREDIBLE! They throw an amazing party. All of my guests are still talking about the “shoe game” it was hilarious and everyone played along. Where do I even begin????
Nathan is the best!! From day one he was very attentive to what we wanted to do as a couple, he was open to new ideas, he’s very knowledgeable about how things should run and honestly, when you have Nathan, you don’t need a wedding coordinator. He’s amazing, he does everything!! Almost 3 weeks after our event, I am still hearing from our guests about how wonderful he was with them behind the scenes and how we kept the energy flowing. he’s just amazing. I had made some last-minute changes the night before and also the day of, and when he walked in the venue on Tuesday afternoon, he was more than happy to change up that stuff and to add some things he was so flexible and so wonderful. We cannot sing his praises enough. Would hire him again without hesitation!!!

When I first started planning my wedding I wanted to go with an acquaintance that did live music and would also MC the reception. As we approached my wedding day I just had a weird feeling that I needed a professional to make the event run smoothly. My wedding coordinators suggested Nathan and after a brief phone conversation I knew he was perfect! Nathan is meticulous in planning all the music and interaction from start to finish. Let me start by saying that we weren’t planning on hiring a DJ at all for our wedding. BUT, we both realized that we would probably have a better time if we had one, so I started my search. I almost want to keep the secret to myself so that Nate is always available when I need him for my BIG Corporate Events and when I plan a wedding or social- but he is too good to be kept secret! If you want your event done with care, concern, love and expert knowledge, Nate is the only one to hire! He will come along side you and take care of you and every detail of his part. He even communicated with the choir director at our Bank Tree Lighting Event In Uptown Charlotte 12/4/2019 and kept in touch until the correct songs were emailed and burnt a back up CD! He shows up 4 .5 hours before the event and stayed way late cleaning up everything. He know his music and has all the LIGHTS ( an extra we didn't even ask for on Santa but it made the set up great) and A/V equipment. And last but not least he is a good kind man and a pleasure to be around! I know every event going forward I plan as a Corporate Event & Wedding Planner for the last 25 years will be done with his A/V DJ Media expertise...because when I plan an event for 800 people- Nate is the one thing I wont need to check up on and he makes me look great to my clients! I am writing this review to let others know that when Nathan tells you the Quality and Value his “service” will provide, may have you question (can one individual really provide all that)? Well, please allow me to introduce you to one of the most professional, talented, supportive, and high calibre DJ’s we have encountered.
We met him during the planning of our only daughter’s Special Day. We thought we could handle ceremony/reception details without hiring a professional planner...as those wedding plans began to grow legs, these tasks were quickly becoming a challenge)
Enter DJ Nathan Wilkins. Every element of Nathan’s service initially mapped out, he not only fulfilled, but surpassed our expectation. The Wedding Party & Guests witnessed a beautiful ceremony and then a memorable, fun Reception with Nathan’s music & talent! He kept the celebration going all the way to the “sparkler” ending.
Since ‘5-star’ is a perfect rating...this will have to do until there is a 6-star rating. Nathan Wilkins is worth every penny of his well-earned fee!!
Nathan may have began as our Wedding DJ, however, he will now be remembered as an extended member of the Wedding Party...He is the real deal!

Nathan was phenomenal. During the planning process, he made sure that we knew that our wedding was all about myself and my husband, and he was going to do everything possible to make sure our day was special. Nathan went above and beyond! On the actual day of the reception, he took care of everything so that my husband and I could just enjoy ourselves, while also checking in to make sure we were having a great time and when we were ready to do things, such as cutting the cake, certain songs to be played, etc. It was such a pleasure to work with Nathan, and I recommend him 110%!

Nathan is seriously the BEST!!! I planned every detail of my wedding and when it was time to pick a DJ, I knew Nathan was the one from the start. Nathan is the best DJ around! I've been to 3 events where he was the DJ and he never disappoints! He just did the music for my parents 50th anniversary party and the song selection he chose was perfect. He is also happy to take song requests! He engages the crowd and really gets the party going. He is super friendly and so easy to work with. He makes it clear that it's your night/event and will do whatever you request of him. I cannot recommend him enough.

Nathan is incredible and truly the hardest working DJ around!! I highly recommend using him as a DJ service for weddings of couples of all ages! My wife and I are a young couple in our early 20s and Nathan did an outstanding job for us at our wedding. He is super friendly, very easy to work with, has a terrific sound system for both the ceremony and reception, and awesome lights/lazers/fog machines/etc. to make the dance floor the place to be during your wedding reception. His many years of experience of working with large crowds make him the perfect person to be in charge of making sure everything happens on time and in an orderly fashion during your ceremony and reception. Look no further for the perfect DJ, because Nathan is the man for the job!

Nathan did an outstanding job at our wedding on September 24th, 2016. From the moment I spoke with Nathan on the phone I knew he would be perfect for our wedding. We had 2 meetings with Nathan and both times he made everything so simple and stress free for us. Any time I had a question and needed to email him, he would respond back almost immediately. He arrived at our wedding before any other vendor did and made sure everything was 100% how I wanted it to be. I couldn't of asked for a better DJ to celebrate our special day with us. We had so many compliments about him after the wedding from multiple guests saying he was absolutely great. Thank you Nathan for being a part of our special day... We were so pleased with Nathan Wilkins for our wedding. He was professional and fun. And we were able to speak over the phone several times. He ensured that we had exactly what we wanted for our wedding. He's great at getting and keeping the crowd entertained and did a wonderful job as MC and DJ. He let everyone at our wedding know exactly what to do and when. He was very easy to work with even though I made several changes with a couple of them last minute. Music was something that was extremely important to my husband and me. We wanted a quality DJ that would listen to what we wanted without having to pay $1500+. Not only was Nathan reasonable and lower than most quotes we received, he provided the most communication. Whenever we had a question, Nathan was on it! Our venue was unique (in a small art gallery) and he was able to work with us to still provide great entertainment.
Every one of our must-play-songs was played at our wedding. We had far exceeded the 6-8 songs that were recommended, and although we received a look that said "I'm the professional, and I know how to work the crowd" Nathan listened to our choices and worked them all in when we insisted that we couldn't make our list any shorter. Also, none of our do-not-play songs were ever played.
We are so grateful for Nathan for giving us what we wanted at our wedding. Multiple people during the night and after said that our wedding was the best wedding they've been to and I believe that Nathan our DJ had a big part of that. He is organized, thorough, and willing to get any music other than rap. Our wedding ranged from ethnic salsa, to old school hip hop, current songs, 80s love ballads, funk, classic country, and rock. He aims to please and is respectful of all guests. I would highly recommend him for anyone I know.

Great personality, very professional, and extremely organized which this bride GREATLY appreciated! The second time we met he met my wedding director and was again just as amazing as the first time we met him! Nathan is just amazing. He sends emails and responds to yours very quickly. During the ceremony he did exactly as I asked and it was super nice. Then in the reception, he was fun and lively and even was able to get some of the "old folks" there to get up and dance. Anything we didn't want him to play, he didn't, and he played requests from us as well as the audience. He just really made the experience wonderful and so much fun! Nathan did an absolutely fantastic job with both our wedding ceremony and reception. He truly works for you and will help you layout all the different pieces of the ceremony and reception that need to happen. Then when the day comes, you can turn it over to him, he does his thing, and it all runs smoothly. Nathan also did a fantastic job in coming up with a great play list that hit all of the different music generations of our guests, handled special requests, and also worked with us on some not so well known songs that we requested just for us. He was a big part of why our day turned out absolutely perfect. Everyone at our reception mentioned what a great job he did. The sound system sounded great and the new light setup looked fantastic in our inside reception venue... and also cut the cake the fun way, pick Nate and you'll see what we mean :o)

I could not have asked for a better DJ. EVERYONE at our wedding was so impressed with him and how he enter acted with everyone even my dad and he is not much of a people person, actually he asked me to say in this review that he was very impressed with Nathan and to say thank you for making his daughters special day so perfect. Nathan was so patient with me and I never once felt like I was unconvincing him by making changes to my agenda or anything. I would 200% recommend Nathan for anyone's wedding if you are wanting a very fun, polite, and professional man to work with. Oh and I live in Texas so everything that Nathan and I did to make my day happen was either by phone or email and he still made my day perfect. Nathan thank you so much for everything and i can't wait to hear about all of the other couples that you are able to bless on their special day.

Using Nathan as the DJ for my wedding was one of the easiest and best decisions I could have made. From the first time we met I felt like I had gained another member of my family. He has the best personality and made it clear from the first time we ever talked that he was there to make our special day everything we ever wanted. He did everything I asked and went above and beyond to make the music for our wedding PERFECT. He arrived several hours prior to the wedding to set up and make sure all his equipment worked properly and sounded good so there were no surprises. He spent so much time with me making sure the music was right and the order was exactly what I wanted. The ceremony music was perfect. The reception music was awesome. He was so much fun with the group we had at our wedding. He was very interactive and made the reception so much fun!! I had so many compliments on the DJ and people asking me left and right for his contact info. Compared to other DJ services in the area his pricing wasn't too bad, and its for sure worth the money.
I don't feel like I can say enough about Nathan. He made our wedding day that much more special and I was so glad we picked him to DJ our wedding. I would without a doubt recommend him for any wedding, birthday, special event, etc.

As the event neared, he contacted me multiple times to make sure that everything was how we wanted it to be. He also had great suggestions to make sure the reception was as lively as possible. We have used him several times now and the kids love his. He responds to their type of music immediately.

Nathan has been doing our prom for the past 4 years. He is awesome, loves the students, has a cool set up, and just about every song you could want. He took requests from our students so they could sing, in front of their peers. Every year he out does himself. Our students look forward to this every year.

Incredible is the word for Nathan! From the first phone conversation with him I was blown away with his professionalism, experience and infectious personality. Nathan was always prompt answering my questions and arranging meetings! After our last meeting I felt completley confident that I wouldn't have to worry about a single detail or flow for our wedding! The day of Nathan arrived early, set up, made sure everything was working, even worked with our photographers on the lighting! The entire ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music went perfectly and just how I wanted! All of my guests were blown away by him and told me how FUN he made the wedding! He was without a doubt one of the best decisions I made for our wedding and would recommend him to everyone! We couldn't thank you enough Nathan, you are amazing!!

I loved working with DJ Nathan for my wedding!! He was so thorough and made sure the day ran as smooth as possible! He listened to everything I had to say and did everything he could to make sure the day was perfect! He made the whole wedding so enjoyable and everybody had a wonderful time!

Nathan was so kind and caring throughout our wedding planning experience. He made sure both of us understood everything. He was so prepared and on top of things at the wedding. We chose Nathan to DJ our wedding because of a previous experience my wife had at a friends wedding. He was awesome and the compliments flowed in from everyone about a great night they had at our wedding. Since that night he been our DJ at our work christmas party every year and the people keep asking for him to come back. Great guy and a great service. You will not be disappointed.

From the time I first talked to Nathan on the phone I knew that he was going to be great. I can't imagine a better DJ for our wedding. From start to finish, the whole night was perfect. Nathan controlled the flow of the whole evening. He was the best. I was skeptical of all of the 5 star reviews on here and whether they were legitimate. Now, I can fully vouch for DJ Nathan's ability, professionalism, and character. He is a great DJ and an even better person. Couldn't have asked for more from a DJ for our wedding. Nathan was so wonderful! He was so easy to work with, very organized and responsive. He walked me through the whole process and event and not a detail was missed. It was so comforting to know I could just enjoy my night and he would manage all the timing since I didn't have a separate wedding planner. Multiple guests told me how much they loved him! Nate is a truly phenomenal person and DJ. As a bride that was planning her wedding from the other side of the world, the entire process can seem a bit daunting. However, Nate was easy to work with and made the entire process a breeze. He worked amazingly well with my lack of musical preferences, and changed things quickly and easily when I finally came up with something. His attention to detail and willingness to join in the wedding celebrations was noted by everyone and we were extremely thankful to have him as part of our day. Further, he was exception with my disabled sister who probably ended up enjoying the evening the most because of Nate. I would not hesitate to recommend Nate for any event!

My wedding planner recommended Nate and I'm so glad she did! I had several guests come up to me to tell me how fabulous he was throughout the course of the day! After our first meeting, I knew that I could be completely relaxed about the flow of the ceremony music and the reception. He double and triple-checked everything to make sure if was perfect and he was always prompt responding to emails and phone calls. He also had some of the best ideas for our ceremony and reception. If you want a DJ that knows everything you could possibly know about the business, give Nate a call. He won't disappoint you! :)

I found this DJ by referral from Shirley Hilburn, owner of Victorian Crows Nest. Once again she led us correctly. He is reasonable, professional and FUN. He had so many great ideas when asked, but you are the boss. He has a great DJ voice & guests were talking about him the next day. He actually emceed the wedding & then DJ for reception. Came early to set up; always responded to e-mails. You will never regret using him!

He is intentional, efficient, quick to respond, and does not take any liberties with music selection--he really does play what you want to play! Nathan did a great job of building a playlist off of a just a few songs I gave him. There were no awkward moments, he played a wonderful range of songs of different genres for all ages, was professional and we completely trusted him to run the reception...and he did a great job!

I never expected to have as much fun as I did the entire day and moving into the evening at my wedding. Nathan had everything to do with the positive vibe during the ceremony as well as reception. The ceremony flowed smoothly and the music we chose sounded so much better than I ever thought. He made people want to get up and dance at the reception. He was the reason people would jump around and laugh and have a great time. I would certainly recommend Nathan to anyone in need of dj services.

DJ Nate, What can we said other that we still talking about how great he is. He made or wedding day the most fantastic day, he was spectacular from the moment he arrived to do sound check till our last dance ( best part ever). No matter the size of your group, big or small, young crowed or older he will have your people on their feet and having a great time. We had a multicultural wedding and he was just a pro. Nathan was the best vendor that I worked with for my wedding. He was prompt, always returned emails within a timely fashion, and wanted only to make my wedding exactly what I wanted. He offered ideas to help me plan my reception. Nathan is professional, kind, and genuinely treats each customer fairly, only focusing on what they want and making sure that it happens. I have known Nathan for 15 years. His step-daughter and I were friends in middle school. So when my wedding planning began I instantly called up Nathan and asked if he would be my DJ. He was amazing. He was extremely responsive and would call or email me within a matter of hours each time I contacted him. And whenever I asked for something he said I would have it. His energy was super high and his dance moves caught us all off guard! I totally recommend Nathan for any event!

Nathan was absolutely amazing! I thought I was organized until I met Nathan. He was the most organized person involved in my wedding which made me not have to worry about ANYTHING when it came to the music. One of my fears was the cocktail hour dragging while we took pictures, however, after talking to my friends and family after the wedding, Nathan took control of the room cracking jokes and entertaining the guests. He is so personal and really cares about the bride which is rare to find. He was above my expectations and I couldn't imagine my wedding without him!
