Book Dj Nate for your wedding

My wife and I can’t express enough how much of a blessing DJ Nate was to our wedding. Even my mother made it a point to say how impressed she was with him, and it takes ALOT to impress her. First of all, we booked him about 5 weeks before our wedding. Our initial meetings with him were welcoming (it felt like we knew him for years) and his consistent communication made the entire process seamless. We didn’t know how this process worked initially but he assured us that he’ll take care of everything, from scouting the venue to talking and planning with the wedding coordinator. On the day of the wedding, not only was the music selection great, but he also played the role of MC for us and directed our guests during dinner time at the reception. Talk about going above and beyond. I'm forever grateful for DJ Nate. I don’t know too many people in the Phoenix area, but if ANYBODY asks us for DJ recommendations he will be the FIRST AND ONLY DJ I will recommend. Period.

The life of the party!

Nate was SO great for our wedding! We originally found him at my husbands work holiday party. His crowd work and way of keeping a bunch of finance guys entertained was impressive, so we decided to hire him to DJ our wedding! He did not disappoint! Our main goal was to throw an amazing party and keep our guests dancing all night long. He had the dance floor FULL all night (even after the lights came on)! We couldn't have asked for a better night! He made the party! Thank you, Nate!

DJ Nate was an absolute VIBE on our wedding day – not only is he a consummate professional through and through, but he really focused a lot of energy on getting to know the both of us as individuals so he could make sure to deliver the night we were both looking for. The unlimited consultation sessions once we booked were a huge benefit as there were a lot of special and unique pieces to not just our ceremony but the reception that we needed to coordinate with him. Anything that we threw his way, he not only made it happen perfectly, but he was also able to accentuate it with his own personality and managed the crowd to get them revved up before high energy situations. He had a mastery of our ceremony and evening, constantly reminding us of what’s next, checking in to make sure were good with where the night was going, and always had the right things queued up. And once we got to the dance party of it all, he was just in his BAG. One of the best decisions that we made was letting him do his thing and not flooding him with song suggestions – he knew the style of music we liked, the age demographic of our guests and more importantly our friends, and ran with it full steam ahead. The mix of old and new songs, throwbacks and bangers was just perfect. We danced the night away and before we knew it, we were at our last song, not ready for the night to end.

Not only is Nate a great Wedding DJ in his ability to run the show from ceremony and reception, and also throw on heck of a party, he’s also just a great and genuine human. Working and interacting with him throughout the process you could tell he was genuinely invested in us as individuals, a couple, and making sure we were getting exactly what we had envisioned for our big day. Each consultation meeting was full of laughs and jokes, and just fun brainstorming sessions. It was priceless what he delivered to us on our wedding day, and we’ll forever be indebted to him for that. If you’re looking for a DJ for any reason, but specifically a wedding, Nate is your guy!

If I could give more stars, I would...

Nate was absolutely amazing; the entire wedding experience was unbelievable thanks to him. The energy he brought to the venue was felt by all our guests. We have received an overwhelming number of guests tell us that was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. From the music to the announcements, Nate was absolutely perfect. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to have to easiest and most enjoyable experience with a DJ.

Magical professional. And perfection

Nate is an awesome DJ first of all. We had a beautiful wedding many parts to the process but would never have been as beautiful or magical with his spearheading of the whole ceremony and reception. He’s a true professional. Will use him every time there’s an even we have and need of a DJ. The man knows his business. Smooth and easy working with him.

Nate was amazing! A true professional, he helped us all the way up until the wedding day to make sure the night would go exactly as we planned it. We had multiple people come up to us to say how awesome the DJ was. I can’t recommend Nate enough!!

Best Dj ever!!

Nate is an awesome Dj/Mc. He is very professional and organized. His online software is very user friendly and makes the process so simple. I did not stress once he helped with the itinerary and made sure it flowed nicely. At the reception his set up was nice and sleek. He did a great job hosting and making announcements and made my guests feel very welcomed.

DJ Nate is a gem!!! From our very first meeting, I could immediately tell how professional, knowledgeable & energetic he is. Throughout the planning process, he was super responsive and helpful with song selections and timeline questions. During the reception, he was an expert at reading the room and adjusting the playlist as needed to keep the dance floor going all night long. Every single one of our guests was having the time of their lives, and our photographer & wedding planner both commented to us that Nate was one of the best DJs they had ever worked with. DJ Nate made our wedding unforgettable

This review is a year late, and not on purpose by any means. Marriage life got away from us and I have been meaning to type this for quite awhile now. We met with many other DJ's before making our decision and have nothing but amazing memories and things to say about DJ Nate. I would not even know where to start as it's not even just about the music with him. The music was A++ but it's his personality, liveliness, charisma and thought he puts into every single component of your wedding that makes the day. Which he did for us beyond expectations. Our day would not have been the day it was without him! Our guests had so much fun, were relaxed, danced their tails off and Nate was able to get family I have never seen dance on the floor. He played every song we discussed and added his own flare and decisions into the moments which were PERFECT. By far the best DJ out there. We highly recommend adding a photo booth to your reception, it was a hit and added even more entertainment to the evening (see attached photo!). THANK YOU for being so amazing, we are over the moon grateful we had the opportunity to meet you and have you be a part of our wedding.

Very professional and timely

DJ Nate Murray knows how to bring the party alive. Neither my husband nor I are much for dancers but Nate really knows how to perform and Dre a crowd to the dance floor. Highly recommend!!!

What can I say.. Nate Murry rocked our wedding reception! Hysterical guy! Made everything that much better with his energy and professionalism! You need a Dj, you'd be a fool not to use this one! 10/10 would recommend.

He even has a very well structured process of setting up your event! Literally the easiest part about our entire wedding. He was super helpful acommidating with changes and questions!

DJ Nate was amazing!

I can not express how happy I was with how my wedding turned out and a lot of that had to do with DJ Nate. He’s planning tools made everything super easy. He had great suggestions on what/ when we should do things. He was very interactive with our guests which we loved as well. At one point we learned our dinner was running late, but the dance floor was full of kids, so he played a few games with them (and some of the adults joined in as well).
I could not be happier with his services. We received several requests for his information that not including venue’s rep. If I ever need a DJ again, this is definitely who I want again.

The right choice if you want to party

We were one of the unlucky ones that had planned our wedding for spring 2020. Trying to get vendors to be flexible and give you refunds or not lock you into unreasonable contracts was one of the most stressful aspects of our entire wedding experience. We were so fortunate to connect with Nate and immediately recognized that he was a solid, flexible, honest contractor. He worked with us to create a contract that we were both comfortable with and he moved with us to a new venue less than 3 months before our wedding when our original venue decided to close down. Nate planned and chaired numerous zoom meetings where he really got to know my fiancé and me, and we had a lot of fun working through the dynamics of a huge, mixed family and their music preferences. Nate was professional and charismatic at our wedding, and 3 months later we still have people telling us how much they loved our wedding, particularly the dance party at the end. Unfortunately our venue closed at 10pm which felt waaaaaay too early when you’re ready to party, but he ended our night on a high which is exactly what he promised to do! I highly recommend connecting with Nate if you’re looking to make an impression on your wedding guests!

Nate is just amazing, very personable, smart, fun, genuinely funny he is a professional. We could NOT have picked a better DJ. I truly feel that Nate went above and beyond to meet our needs. Our wedding would just not have been the same without him. If you need a DJ, an incredible upbeat personality, someone that can really engage a crowd and entertain, make Nate your go to. Nate was awesome. He met with us personally for the initial planning and then had several conversations with us over the phone. He made for a very personal reception. He made it about the bride and groom. He was very engaging with the guests and everybody had so much fun. We had so many compliments about how fantastic it was, even saying it was the best wedding they have every attended. We couldn't be more blessed to have met Nate at a bridal pop up show and just enjoyed that time we had with him and knew he would be a perfect fit for our guests. I highly recommend him. Nate was very professional, had very nice attire and brought everybody to their feet all night.

In looking for a DJ, we looked at the preferred vendors from the venue and when we saw that DJ Nateboogee was highly recommended from both the venue and Weddingwire, we scheduled a meeting. We met Nate and found his personality and our style matched well. The entire process of working with Nate was seamless. After contacting him by phone and meeting with him he provided us with a weblink to a user friendly website which was interactive and we were able to select our music selections for the ceremony, reception etc, and provide a timeline. The wedding day was everything we could have asked for and more. Nate was so attentive, creative and went out of his way to play songs that directly fit our tastes. We received so many compliments on the music and vibe! The dance floor was full at all times. He kept the guests engaged and the wedding on schedule the whole night. He kept the energy flowing, and read the crowd perfectly! In addition Nate was responsive with emails and a pleasure to work with. We would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a DJ/Master of Ceremonies. Thanks Nate for making our wedding such a memorable evening for us and each one of our guests...

Had a great experience! All the planning was very easy and loved that we could utilize the web link to make our song selections for each part of the wedding.
Everything was professionally done form the setup to the interaction of the crowd and staying on tract to all our requests. Our guests loved every minute and could have kept dancing away.
Nate put us at ease early on in the planning process and by the time the week of the wedding came we had no concerns or worries.
Would definitely recommend anyone to use Nate. 5 + star!

This is what I wrote to Nate in an email after our wedding. Just to show how personal it was and how amazing he made our wedding.

"Dear Nate,
We would like to thank you so much for making our wedding a blast and a night to remember. Everyone had so much fun. We even got our parents to dance! I never thought I'd see the day. The pastor even told us before hand that he won't dance and he hasn't for about 10 years, and he was on the dance floor! And I loved the centerpiece game. We just wanted to thank you so much for all your help as well. You helped through this whole process and the wedding was a dream come true for us. We will definitely recommend you and make sure to leave 5 Star reviews for you."

Nate is more than a DJ and MC for the wedding day. He is very experienced with weddings and he helped us through our whole planning process. We had a hard time coordinating and planning out the day and he would calm us and help us step by step. Not only did he help plan out the wedding day, he made it so fun and memorable to us. Another thing I would like to add is how attentive he is during the wedding; he would always check in with us and make sure everything was good with us. More than just our own personal experience with him, everyone would tell us how much fun they had at the wedding and how great the DJ was. We are so thankful for Nate to be our DJ and MC. The whole process of working with Nate was outstanding. He is extremely professional and took the time to walk us through everything step by step, gave us numerous options and provided great input and suggestions whenever we were unsure of something. We greatly appreciated Nate taking it upon himself to work directly with our venue on the logistics giving us one less thing to worry about.

He was always accessible via phone or email leading up to the wedding and showed up early on our wedding day to make sure there weren’t any issues during the setup. His MC skills are on point, his play list worked well for our diverse crowd and he took it upon himself to get out on the dance floor and encourage additional guests to dance.

Nate also made sure to run everything by us during the reception which was much appreciated given some crazy requests by relatives to serenade us on our special day.

Nate is a consummate professional, very friendly and a pleasure to work with.

Nathan listened to our needs and delivered. He also made suggestions to us to make sure the reception was fun and our guests were engaged. Finding a DJ was one of our top priorities since we know good music can make or break the wedding. We were so happy with Nate on our wedding day that it is beyond words, but we will try. When we first booked Nate, he was very responsive to our emails. He even tried to set up a time to meet with us so that he could get a feel of us as a couple and what kind of vibe we would like to have at our wedding. Unfortunately, our schedules never matched, but we did get to talk over the phone and Nate was very personable and made us feel like we were in good hands. On the wedding day, Nate brought the party! He was very engaging with the audience and everyone participated and danced. We had many people tell us after the wedding what a good job he did. My cousin who is getting married later on this year even asked for his contact info so that he could book him for their wedding. My friend also told me that she will remember his name so that whenever she gets married, she knows who to go to! Thank you Nate for making our wedding a memorable party!

Nate was the best vendor I worked with during the wedding planning process. He listened to all my requests and scheduled a meeting a week before my event to make sure we had everything right.

We originally were only going to have him DJ the reception, but last minute mishaps had us looking for ceremony music too. Nate ensured us we were taken care of and was very professional throughout the process. Highly recommend and will probably hire for my Maid of Honor's wedding next year.

Nate is an amazing dj! We had no troubles at all an he assured us that he personally would e at the wedding. Everything went smoothly with planning and he even really, truly has a great system which allowed us to plan even more effectively. He pretty much helped lay out our timeline exactly as we wanted it. Everything on the day of the wedding went very smoothly. He was able to change anything we wanted to change last second and was open to almost everything. He has great ideas and makes everything very personable. The only minor setback was the very end of the wedding my husband and I were leaving for the wedding at a certain time and somehow we ran out of time before completing a couple of the tasks we wanted to do with the guests( money dance, garter toss) we ended up leaving late, which, fortunately, didn't cause any problems in the end, but it would have been nice to not have been running around and asking him to get these things in. However, in the end, no one noticed and everyone loved him! Just be sure to be clear right before the wedding with everything you want, as we were up in the air with some things, which were the ones that didn't happen. My final thought is that he is amazing and I would choose him again absolutely 100% .

Nate was a blessing to our wedding. His professionalism, even temperance, and experience as a wedding dj/facilatator was key to our weddings success. His simple, fundamental, "the Bride and the Groom" are the focal point approach is brillant and flawlessly executed by Nate. No matter how anxious my wife and I became Nate was a rock that couldnt be budged, and never allowed us to deter his mission, keep us at peace. He's developed a chronological timeline approach to developing the Wedding DJ plan, which is genius. Nate was a stellar at putting together music for our wedding. He is warm, funny and professional. He put together games for my husband and I to play to entertain our guests and played music that worked for every part of the evening. I, as a bride, did not have to worry about there being a lull in the evening or if our guests were having a good time. He helped our night move along with his wit and charm. Nate was AWESOME! The fact that we lived in Texas and our wedding took place in california, he was able to work with Jose and I very well. Nate made the whole wedding come alive. The way it was organized, he told a story from beginnning to end. The reception was very professional and classy but at the same time we were having a whole lot of fun dancing and the music order kept the older and younger guests on the floor. I truely felt that Nate cared for us, he was very genuine. His personality kept the whole place full of energy and smiles all around for the whole 4 hours! Also the price was very affordable and on top of that there were no extra fees for lighting which was great! He was great! and I would refer him to anyone that needs a dj at an event!

The word Amazing does not do justice in expressing how great our experience was while working with our dj Nathan. Nathan was warm and attentive to our requests. He listened to our all the requests in a professional way making sure not to miss any of the details that were important to us. When I called with last minute changes, Nathan saw to them with patience and accuracy. Nathan treated our wedding as if it was his own, and that made me feel comfortable in trusting that he would provide the best entertainment services for my wedding reception. Every bride knows how important the entertainment at the reception is. Whom you choose to be your dj can make or break how much fun your friends and family have. I have to say hands down, this was the most fun our friends and family have ever had at a reception, the music was great and everyone dance all night long. Nathan even got my 84-year-old grandmother on the dance floor, not to mention my very reluctant to dance groom! The service that we received from our dj Nathan is still talked about today by our loved ones. I love Nathan. He had a great personality and really kept the party going. He did the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music and he did exactly what I asked for. Played what I wanted when I wanted it and basically made me very happy. We also got lighting through him and he did a great job with that. The room looked great. Had lights changing throughout the night to create a great atmosphere.

Nathan did our ceremony music and reception music. He came well prepared with all the equipment he would possibly need for a beach wedding. I got so many compliments on his music and personality. Nathan did an amazing job hosting our wedding. When we first got in touch with him, he walked us through the music setup website which was very easy and convenient to navigate. On our wedding reception night, he was very efficient about getting guests situated and keeping the program moving smoothly. He was also very flexible in working with last minute details and requests. My wife and I were not able to think of any games for our guests to play while we went to change our outfits, and he was very quick about keeping the guests entertained with his own game ideas. Nate is a true professional with extensive experience. In our meetings prior to our wedding he made us feel comfortable and allowed us to have open, candid discussions with him about what we wanted out of our wedding entertainment. Nate has a lot of great unique ideas to help you customize your wedding based off of your style as a couple, the type of "crowd" you will have at your reception, and your overall wedding style. If we didn't feel like one of Nate's suggestions fit our wedding style he was completely receptive and understanding, not pushy at all. Nate expressed countless times that our wedding is about US, not him, not anyone else so we could feel very comfortable expressing exactly what we wanted on that day. Additionally, Nate's experience providing services in the wedding industry was truly valuable to us. He was able to give us the "inside scoop" on certain aspects of the wedding ceremony or reception that we had never even considered before. If he felt that an idea of ours wasn't realistic or wouldn't work he would explain exactly what his reservations were, but ultimately leave the decision up to us. On the day of our wedding Nate was dressed professionally (as he always was at our meetings prior to the wedding) and blended right in. He did what he promised he would do which was keep the focus on us. He pumped up our crowd when they needed pumping up, but wasn't over the top or cheesey. Even my mom said that she noticed how hard he was working at our reception to keep the crowd dancing, feeling out the vibe that was working, and mix in the many song requests he was receiving. We also did our uplighting through Nate. It turned out beautifully and was exactly what I expected it to be. Even so, Nate confided in my husband that he had stayed up late the night before trying to create us a custom lighting color to better match our wedding colors (champagne, bronze, and black)...talk about going above and beyond! We highly recommend Nate.

Nate was an awesome DJ for our wedding! As soon as I sat down with him and gave him and brief idea of what I wanted the music at my wedding to be like, he immediately got me.
