I had the pleasure of working with Nate veal photography for my engagement shoot, bachelorette weekend, & my wedding day! The professionalism was excellent from the very first encounter and my photos turned out unique and amazing! Amazing photographer and his experience with weddings even helped keep me calm on my wedding day! My wedding venue cancelled on me 30 days before my wedding and he went over and beyond to help me find a venue. Everything turned out perfect and both he and his wife were a pleasure to work with. They’re like my family now lol. This won’t be my last time booking with them and I will refer them to anyone especially for an occasion so special like your wedding!

I have been admiring the work of this photographer for many years. So it was no question when my fiancé popped the question, of who I wanted to use as my photographer. From my very first interaction with them, I was left with an awesome feeling. The professionalism and responsiveness from the team, left me at ease that this would be one area of the planning process that I did not need to worry about. THEN, I had my engagement photo session, and the bar was raised even HIGHER. Nate and his wife, Rochelle were absolutely great. The suggested location of our shoot was perfect. The day of the shoot had my fiancé and I on cloud 999. The proofs we received are absolutely beautiful and leaves us anxiously awaiting our big day, because there is no doubt that they will capture every important moment. -

Honestly I don't have enough words to express my disappointment and regret after dealing with this business for our wedding. As an aspiring photographer and experienced event planner, I've never experienced such horrible service. They get you with the "good package prices/deals" and pictures that's posted on social media; however, you'll be in for a surprise when you actually get your pictures. Only a handful are worth even looking at. I've even had to edit some of the pictures myself!!!
The 1st red flag....the photographer's wife seems to handle all the contact with his clients. The first time we spoke to the actual photographer was the day of our engagement shoot (that's another story). 2.) Communication is horrible....well not until a payment is due, you will get a text everyday and be threatened with a late fee; however, when you actually send a text or call for session times/dates, you'll get a response when they're (she's) ready, attitude included. 3.) They don't pay attention to details. I mean, anyone could take pictures but it takes a real professional to know how to pose, make sure wardrobes are not out of place, pay attention to small details, etc. 4.) Not having a actually meeting before the wedding. Having a run through of what to expect the day of the wedding is so necessary, unfortunately, we did not get that and it showed. We had to ask for certain poses the day of the wedding and still didn't get all of them. And finally 5. Don't expect them to abide by their contract (unless a payment is due of course). We got married in August 2021 and just received our album last week (yes we're in March) and that was only because we kept sending texts asking for updates. The album is meh, one thing to point out was that our names and/or date of our wedding was not included so we will be taking it elsewhere to get engraved. In addition, our engagement shoot package included a certain amount of prints. The shoot was July 2021, we're currently in March 2022 and have yet to receive them. We reached out countless amount of times and have been given nothing but excuses. In my opinion, if you could spend a little more to get better service/quality please do. I wanted to support a black owned business but after my experience, I was filled with nothing but regrets. This is literally a "you get what you pay for" experience. Two thumbs down! -

My wedding was July 2025 and Nate still has not delivered everything that was promised and paid for in full like my photo album. He stated that it will be delivered 2 to 3 months from the ordering, which was in November. It is now May 2026 and Nate has still not provided me with my album. He also took over 10 weeks to deliver my wedding photos. It’s very embarrassing to have a wedding with no photos to show for it for over 10 weeks. If he tries to reply to this comment with false narratives, I will provide the screenshots of me, begging him for my photos with him having every excuse in the world! IF I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!! -

this big swollen oompa loompa man scammed my good sis out of her wedding pictures. he is not a man of his word and i would not recommend booking @natevealphotography. her wedding was july ‘25, that was 10 months ago. is this the type of photographer you want to work with?
