I am so glad I found Natali! I initially reached out for alterations on my wedding dress, knowing that it would be a huge request in hemming my very poofy gown. Natali recommended adjusting the extra length by shortening the top of the skirt rather than changing the hem line on all of the different layers of the dress. We also added a bustle and tightened the straps of the dress a bit. Her work is phenomenal; you can’t even notice all of the work she did, and she even readjusted the intricate lace and details that were on top of the adjustments she made underneath. I ended up also recommending my Mother-in-law and bridesmaid to have their dresses hemmed and altered, and am so grateful for all of her work in helping them feel their best for my wedding. I cannot recommend working with Natali enough, and I will be sure to return for any alterations I need in the future! -

I absolutely loved Natali! She made me feel so comfortable when I first came for a quote. She helped me figure out how to style my dress and make it the most comfortable for the big day. She never rushed, took so much time to make sure each fitting every thing looked amazing and her prices were the most impressive part in a wedding industry where everything feels expensive. She always made me feel so beautiful when it was really her phenomenal work to make my dress look so great, thank you Natali! -

I ordered my wedding dress from an online retailer in Europe and (surprise, surprise) it was not my correct size. But Natali took a dress that was multiple sizes too big and made it fit me perfectly! She is truly a master of her craft and a worker of miracles from what I can tell.
I will also say that I got quotes from three different tailors for the same work and she was the lowest price out of all three!
She seems very popular though and will not overextend herself. I recommend getting on her calendar early and avoiding prom season if you can.

I wish I could give Natali 10 stars. This woman is incredible. She is so dedicated to her work and so skilled. Firstly, I left my bridal shop after getting my dress in tears because of the way the dress fit. The boning in the breast region was too pointed and the waist was too small such that it created a horrible muffin top. At my first fitting, Natali knew just by looking at me in the dress how to fix it, and continued to make me feel heard as I explained my concerns with the dress. Ultimately I ended up so happy and loved my dress! Then there was the veil. I had a strong vision of how I wanted to create my veil using my mother’s long veil and the lace from her dress. Natali meticulously cut each piece of lace and placed them on the veil, then let me spend hours moving each piece to where I wanted them (with her expert input), sewed them in with such care and created a magical heirloom piece for me. I am endlessly grateful to her (as is my mom) for working so hard on that veil. -

Incredibly talented and creative seamstress!
I highly recommend hiring Natali! She is exceptionally skilled and creative. I purchased my dress from a used wedding dress shop. I was happy with it and brought it to Natali for relatively minor alterations, but she told me she had a vision for the skirt and I am so happy I went with it. She essentially reconstructed much of the skirt including changing the placement of the layers and redoing the bustle. It went from looking somewhat heavy to appearing light, flowy, and airy. She of course altered the top to fit perfectly as well. Throughout the process I felt like she was very invested in helping me look as beautiful as possible and she truly cared about me. She also altered my sister and mother's dresses and they looked wonderful. We are definitely going back for my sister's wedding next year! -

Beautiful dress, made even more beautiful by Juliya's
The owner, Natali, is an exceptionally skilled seamstress and you can tell that she takes immense pride in her work. My dress needed to be shortened and taken in all around, and she made it fit like a glove. She very graciously handled my last-minute panic about where the waistline was hitting me, and was able to accommodate me for an extra fitting where she magically resolved my concerns. -

I had a couture gown from Bridals by Lori in Atlanta and obviously was not trying to travel to and from Atlanta multiple times to alter my dress & this shop did such a flawless job between the fit, hemming & bustle. My dress was so complicated with lots of layers and lace and I was so worried about placing it in the wrong hands, but they know exactly how to work on these dresses. So beyond happy with my dress and will definitely be returning to her shop for any future alterations for other events -

Juliya took my dress from liking it to loving it! Everything was perfect from start to finish. She was totally confident that she could make the changes to my dress which included hemming, picking up the shoulder, and creating a bustle. I also loved how easy to was to get on her books for appointments and everything was completed according to plan and ahead of schedule. I see some people have discussed price, and where Juliya's quote was higher than most, the alterations wasn't an area I was looking to pinch pennies in so I am very pleased with my final result. -

I found out the day before my first appointment that my original seamstress whom I had had booked for months came down with Covid and was unable to do my dress. This was 2 months before my wedding and I was panicking! I found out about Juliya’s through the bridal shop I bought my gown at and she was so nice and squeezed me in that weekend. She was so accommodating and efficient with the short notice and short amount of time there was to do my dress. She did a phenomenal job! My dress fit perfectly and looked incredible! I highly recommend her to everyone! -

The title says it all - Juliya was a lifesaver!! I got my dress from a bridal shop that was going out of business, so of course I needed alterations (dress was 2 sizes too big). My dress has a ton of detail - I’m talking beading, sequins, lace, you name it. I had originally called a different place for alterations located closer to me, but was turned away because there was too much detail. I was in tears. So I called up Juliya’s and she told me she would do it, and that she was not afraid of detail; she does it all the time.
Fast forward to the fittings. Ten minutes into the first fitting, Juliya had put a few pins in and it was like a whole new dress! Two months later and bam, perfect fit!
I cannot express how impressed and happy I am to have worked with Juliya. All of our vendors were great, but she truly made me feel like a bride. Thank you!! -

I bought my dress and veil from K&B Bridals and Juliya is on their list of recommended seamstresses. I was so unsure of how to find a seamstress because after spending so much on your dream dress, it scares you to think that not all know what they are doing as well as others. I was so happy that Juliya was on that list and little did I know all that Juliya had to offer when I first met her!
I worked with Juliya for over a year. We first met when my wedding was scheduled for July 2020 and she began to alter my dress. Her shop is absolutely adorable and very well kept. Juliya is extremely professional and is so sweet! My mom and I would always look forward to our trips to Stevenson to see Juliya because we just enjoyed talking and spending time with her! My dress had to be taken in as well as a hem added. The bottom had a scalloped edge making this extremely difficult. Juliya told me it took her 5 hours just to take apart the bottom part of my dress! What she does just amazes me! By June, my dress fit me like a glove and looked like it was made for me! At this point, we had to postpone to July 2021 and Juliya did not let us down here either. She was so flexible and comforting. I took the dress but we added an extra appointment a few months before my new date so that she could ensure that the dress would still fit perfectly for out big day!
I really cannot thank Juliya enough for all that she has done! My dress was gorgeous and an absolute DREAM. She truly is the best at what she does and I could not imagine taking my wedding dress or any future dresses to anyone else!

So thankful for Juliya!
Juliya was simply amazing. She added sleeves to my dress, created a beautiful bustle, and details to the dress to not only make it very pretty, but also made it fit and feel better. I was just so happy with the way it turned out, after being nervous about all the changes. Thank you for making my dress what I wanted and helping make the process simple and less stressful. She also made my mom feel great about her dress as well! -

Restored 60 year old gown
Juliya was so amazing to work with. She helped take my grandmother's wedding dress, which my mom also wore, and turn it into something special and unique for my day. It feels like my own dress, even though I'll be the third generation to wear it. I showed Juliya the original and she knew exactly how to transform it. She also took a piece of my sister's first communion dress and applied it to a jean jacket so I will have a piece of her with me on my wedding day too. Juliya is really making our wedding day so special and I am so grateful! -

Juliya is consultant, seamstress, and magician wrapped all in one.
Where to begin? I fell in love with (ok, ok, my now-husband first, but then) THE DRESS. Simple, elegant, Sporty Spice meets 1930s-screen-siren chic. No lace, no beads, no bling, THE FIT WAS EVERYTHING, and I am, have always been, and will always be pear shaped. Juliya is consultant, seamstress, and magician wrapped all in one. She helped me choose the right size dress to purchase, then took the entire thing in from the waist up, gave me some realistic padding up top (thank you very much), gave the gown an invisible bustle, and did everything so seamlessly (no pun intended) that it looked untouched! She also helped me select my veil, took the dress in again when I lost weight, and did all of this during a pandemic, keeping herself, me, and her other clients safe while helping make our dreams come true. With THE DRESS tailored perfectly to my own body, I felt comfortable, confident, and beautiful on our wedding day, and I wish the same feeling for every bride. Thank you Juliya! -

Juliya was very helpful during our initial consultation and did an incredible job on the alteration and customization work for my wedding dress. She was very kind and held my hand when dealing with multiple panicked phone calls about undergarments, quickly resolved a handful of minor tweak requests, and went out of her way to make my intricately embroidered/beaded illusion-backed dress work for me. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and will not steer you wrong when it comes to your gown! -

Seriously amazing
I got married October 12, 2019. I realized I wrote so many reviews for my vendors and neglected writing something for my alterations. I’m so mad at myself that I forgot. Anyway let me just say Juliya is AMAZING! I purchased a dress from David’s bridal that I really liked, but had so many ideas to change things about it. Juliya not only praised my ideas and changes, she also made me feel so so good (she knows how to give a compliment.) she turned my dress into a fairytale, I couldn’t be more grateful for her. I brought my mom with me to my second fitting and she was so impressed and even asked Juliya what it would cost to steam her garment for the wedding. Juliya then stated not to even worry about it she would steam it free of charge. I would not recommend anyone else for alterations. Trust me, Juliya not only does a fantastic job, she is also very reasonable, and even though she deals with so many brides she makes you feel so damn special! -

Incredible seamstress and amazing person
Juliya was a godsend to me during our wedding and the most talented seamstress I have ever worked with. We had 3 outfit changes for our mixed Indian-Jewish wedding and she altered ALL my three dresses (with different fabrics, threads, stitching styles etc.) impeccably. The reception gown I wore was shipped to me from India and was actually several inches too short! She somehow used fabric that was supposed to be for the shawl and added a belt/waist cinching portion in the middle of the dress to elongate it. The final product looked even better than the original and was the perfect length - simply incredible. My white wedding dress alteration process was one of those nightmares that you hear about but never think will happen to you, and of course Juliya saved the day with this as well. I was getting my white dress altered at the store I purchased it in (PSA: do NOT do this! go to an independent seamstress, aka Juliya!) and had gotten inklings that the alterations weren't going properly from the four fittings I had had previously. Since I had been working with Juliya at the time for my other two dresses, the day I received the "finished" white wedding dress, I didn't even try it on there. Instead, I took it immediately to Juliya and tried it at her store, so that if the dress looked awful at least she'd be there to help. As I suspected, the alterations were a disaster -- the top part of the strapless dress didn't fully cover my chest (aka side boob), instead of taking in and cutting the fabric, it was folded in and sewed upon, etc. Juliya had to totally take the dress apart and redo the alterations IN TWO DAYS before our wedding. She stopped everything she was doing in order to get this finished for me, and honestly without her, I would not have had a wedding dress I was comfortable wearing. She is an angel and is incredibly talented at her craft. I wish I had known about her to begin with so that I wouldn't have had to go through my wedding dress debacle. She has a lot of clients so try to bring your dress to her early enough so that she can fit it in! Cannot recommend her store enough - thank you Juliya!!! -

Juliya saved my dress!
I can't recommend Juliya enough!! When I received my wedding dress the fit was all off--especially too small in the bust--and I thought it was beyond saving. As a last ditch effort I took it to Juliya and she immediately made me feel at ease--with just a few pins and creative solutions at the consultation it was clear she would be able to salvage the dress. Over the next several appointments she did much more than that--she made it more flattering, comfortable, and supportive and honestly shaped it into the dress of my dreams. She is truly a perfectionist and master of her craft and doesn't hesitate to make suggestions that you didn't even know were possible. On top of that, she is a genuinely wonderful person--she even rushed part of my alterations so my mom could see it when she was in town on a last minute trip. Juliya absolutely lives up to the hype and I loved being able to trust her completely with my wedding dress. -

Juliya is a phenomenal tailor and was an absolute delight to work with. My fiancé and I decided to have a very quick engagement, and I was able to buy my wedding dress less than two weeks before our wedding. I came to Juliya on a Wednesday, asking if she could hem my dress within a week and a half. She had it finished by Monday, less than a week from when I brought it to her! She did a phenomenal job hemming it, and she also had incredibly helpful observations about which sash and veil to choose. She is incredibly professional and clearly has years of experience, but she was also so warm, supportive, and happy for me and my fiancé, and she wanted to do whatever she could to help us arrange things in time for our wedding. She was a joy to work with, and I'll be coming back to her in December with a bridesmaid dress to be altered--though I'll be sure to leave more time for alterations this time around. Juliya was absolutely wonderful to work with! I contacted her about a month before my wedding, and she was able to fit me into her schedule. I needed her to take in my very ornate wedding dress, and she did the most amazing job! The dress had a corset top with lots of flower appliques and tons of layers, so I was worried it would take forever to alter and cost a million dollars. Juliya had it done with time to spare and it was way less than I expected to pay. I HIGHLY recommend going to Juliya for all of your alteration needs!!! -

Juliya is a wedding saver!
I called Juliya less than a month before a destination wedding (and one that was being filmed for a TV show). I'd started to fall out of love with the dress and it was WAY too long. She got me in the same day for a consult! It was ready right on time - perfectly sized, with a new train, an amazing bustle, and somehow (magic?) managed to preserve the very defined lace pattern at the bottom. She even let me video her giving instructions for the bustle so my bridesmaids could handle the job! She's amazing. -

Let me start by saying I purchased my gown from a second-hand charity store. It was originally a size 14, which had been altered to a 10. I fell in love with it, except I needed it in a size 6-ish. The gown was fitted through the hip and had hand-sewn lace detailing all over. Oh, also, I'm 5'2", and needed close to 6 inches cut off the bottom hem.
When I first consulted with Juliya and got the price quote, there was a little bit of sticker shock, BUT she fully explained to me the process of what had to be done, and why. After I saw the final product, I can assure you she is worth every single penny. I ended up with a dress that was literally one of a kind, made for me, and could not have possibly fit or shown off my figure any better. We did four visits over the course of three months, and each meeting was like catching up with a friend. We talked candidly about our families, our previous struggles, how lucky we are to be where we are now... not only did I get the wedding gown of my dreams, but I felt a connection with a woman I'd barely known. I had to give her a hug before I left the last time.
She just moved into a brand new office space in the same plaza and it is BEAUTIFUL inside. With Juliya you are getting more than a hemmed-up dress. You're being taken care of, and it shows. -

Mia Sent on 08/24/2018I was so nervous about finding the right seamstress to alter my dress – it’s incredibly delicate with boning in the bodice, multiple layers of lace, and beading from top to toe. On top of that, I bought it off the rack and it needed many repairs. After contacting several companies, I had a consultation with Juliya and knew she was the one. I could not have been more thrilled with her service – she hemmed my dress perfectly, added cups and tightened the bodice, gave me the most gorgeous French bustle, and spent hours meticulously repairing the beading, boning, lace, zipper, etc. As much as I loved it before, when she was finished it was like I had a whole new dress that I loved more than I thought possible! Juliya is an absolute expert at her craft and it is clear that this is her calling. On top of that, she was just wonderfully pleasant to work with and gave such great customer service. I also thought her prices were very fair and honestly worth every penny. I will definitely be going back to her for any future alterations I need and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone! -

Danielle Sent on 07/30/2018I purchased my wedding dress at Betsy Robinson's, but the reviews for alterations were so mixed that I decided to take my dress elsewhere.
After searching specifically for bridal gown reviews, I decided on Juliya, and I am SOOOO happy that I did!
My dress had a lot of beading in the top half, and most of it was sewn into that very delicate, stocking-like material that gives the illusion there is nothing there. Juliya actually had to take in areas with that material and I could not even tell!
She understands women's bodies and it's obvious in her work. She made my dress look like it was custom made for me! She is warm and friendly, and my mom and I enjoyed my appointments with her! My mom even ended up getting a dress altered for a garden party, and she got lots of compliments on it!
The pricing was more than I initially thought it would be (before going there! She did not charge more than her initial quote) but you get what you pay for, and she is top notch!
I HIGHLY recommend Juliya's Custom Tailoring & Alterations for your wedding gown (or anything!)
I will go back to her with confidence for any other alterations! -

Venice Sent on 06/05/2018Juliya is very talented. I had purchased a Vera Wang hi-low wedding gown that the salon said they would not alter because it was a designer gown. It was a couple inches too short for my long legs & I didn’t have time to order the extra-long gown. She restructured the dress to remove a layer from the back and add it to the front.... just beautiful!
As if that wasn’t enough. I bought a veil that I decided not to use. I asked her to just cut it & make me a shawl as a cover during the ceremony. No! She made me a whole new look with it. She sewed a tube to fit over my top. -

Her talent speaks for itself. I had lost some weight prior to the wedding and needed the dress to be altered in the waist and bust. She was able to take it in seamlessly and was meticulous in her work. She also created a veil for me that was beautiful and gave sound advice on what type of veil would look best with my style dress. I found Juliya to be reasonable and more than worth the price I paid!

Her shop is super adorable and she made sure to take the time to meet with me one on one with no other customers in the shop. She saw right away what my dress needed and made it fit so much better than it had before. She quoted me a price on the first consultation and that is exactly what I paid when the dress was done. We had three fittings total and by the last one the dress was perfectly hemmed, a bustle had been added to my very full ballgown, the sides had been let out and altered to fit me, cups were added, and the dress was steamed and perfect for my wedding day. Juliya is also so friendly and warm, she made me feel like an absolute queen in my dress even when I was having doubts myself. Thank you Juliya! -

I hired Natali for my wedding dress. I made an appointment and followed what she had asked me to do. Bring the underwear and shoes that I would be wearing. Sure no problem.
When I get there I met Natali.. let’s just say she prob had the worst “bed side manner” I’ve ever encountered!!!! Right from jump she comes of very aggressive and rude. She made me actually feel really uncomfortable.
She started cutting into my dress in the great cup area before I had a chance to even stop her. I wasn’t even sure if I had wanted to hire her but here she was already cutting into the dress. I had told her I wanted thicker straps, and something to be done about the middle of the dress where I felt like it didn’t sit right. Along with a bustle on the back.
She told me she would do all those things AND she would add in some boning in the front to give me more of a lift and change out the breast pads. I thought ok great!
When I came back for my 1st fitting it didn’t even look like anything had been done!!! The only thing she had done was add the bustle and do the hem. I didn’t say anything because … again, she made me feel uncomfortable and every time I did try and speak she would blow me off like I was just an idiot. It was very strange to say the least!!!! Also, when she put the bustle up, made it look really weird in the front where the slit was.
I thought, maybe she just hadn’t started on the other things. I left , making my next appointment.
When I showed up this time the dress was done. The only thing that she had done was the boning and the breast pads. The middle area had no change at all and, the straps were never changed. Honestly, I was SO disappointed and upset but I knew that nothing could be done. I was leaving in 1 1/2 days for Mexico!! So, I just paid for the dress and left
I wanted to feel so beautiful and sexy in my dress and I felt the complete opposite!!! And on top of that I paid $420!!!! To basically have a hem, bustle and breast pads done :( -
