  They are wonderful at this business! Save yourself the pain and just start here to purchase all the wedding attire if you are in the Traverse City area! They saved the day for me and my bridesmaid, not to mention gave us great service for the tuxedo rentals and buying the flower girl dresses (which were so totally adorable!) Everyone I dealt with a was pleasant and professional. I am so grateful to the Natalie for everything she did to help us in outfitting my wedding party! Truly above and beyond!

  Over the last 9 months I have been going off and on to Natalie's for not only purchasing and the fittings of my own dress but also that of my bridesmaids, groom, and groomsmen. On average we had excellent visits and Natalie as well as the girls working the front desk were very helpful. At times there were some awkward moments with the actual fitting of our dresses, especially with the seamstress, however I would still recommend this store for any bride looking for their wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, and tuxes. The prices are about average to other bridal stores in the area.

  Natalie was better than I could have ever imagined! She always has such high energy and makes you feel like she has know you for years. The dressing rooms are awesome and have all the accessories right in them so you can try them on with your dress without having to sift through racks outside the room. After I purchased the dress it was hard for me to come back up north since I am living in Ann Arbor right now (our family and wedding are up north which is why I went dress shopping up there). Even though they don't typically do fittings on the weekends, she made a special exception and allowed me to come in twice on the weekend for fittings.
  
  She was so great that I wanted to give her our business for the guys' tuxes too. She was awesome and when I got lost on what color vests/ties she had suggestions to help me along. Some of my fiance's groomsmen live in Florida and she more than willingly talked them through the fitting and measurements over the phone since the tuxes were not a standard fit.
  
  I cannot say enough good things about Natalie. She is awesome and I would recommend her to anyone!

  I purchased my dress from BHLDN online and took it to Natalie’s Bridal Shop for alterations. My wedding was in Lake Leelanau so I wanted to have the alterations done nearby. Overall, the alterations were good, but the experience and process was terrible. I had asked to have a piece of my mother’s wedding dress embroidered and sewn into the lining of my dress. The seamstress assured me that was no problem, she does that all the time. When I followed up about a few weeks before my wedding on the status of my dress, I was told that the seamstress’s machine was broken and they wouldn’t be able to do the embroidery. I was surprised Natalie hadn’t taken the initiative to tell me about this problem but waited until I reached out to them. I made arrangements to have the embroidery done in Ann Arbor and then mailed it back to the shop a week before my wedding. I asked Natalie to keep an eye out for it and let me know if it didn’t arrive. I didn’t hear anything, so I assumed everything was good to go. I called three days before my wedding to confirm the dress was ready and finalize the cost. When I talked to Natalie, without hesitation she said they hadn’t received the embroidery… I was shocked that she hadn’t followed up with me about it. After a minute me explaining I had a delivery confirmation and everything for the package, she offered to go to the back and check the dress just in case. It turns out they had received the embroidery and the dress was ready. Natalie hadn’t seen the package come in and never followed up with the seamstress to make sure everything was good to. For someone who works with brides all the time, I’m surprised at Natalie’s lack of professionalism. She failed to communicate to me along the way and didn’t understand the add stress she created. By the end of the experience I was eager to get my dress from the shop and be done with Natalie’s shop.

  Horrible Experience

  If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I was so happy to have found my dream dress, but throughout the alteration experience I became so disappointed and started to hate my dress all due to Natalie's Bridal. The first seamstress was unqualified and let go after my second appointment. Someone new took over and we basically had to start from scratch. I was practically in tears due to how bad these alterations were. I went to two appointments with this person. Then I came in for my FINAL appointment (5th appointment) only to find out this person was not here anymore and I would be getting a THIRD seamstress. The third person also had to pick up where the other left off. This process was hell and caused me to drive 7 times to this location for alterations. I spent so much of my time, gas, money, on these alterations. Also, the alterations are RIDICULOUSLY priced. When I confronted Natalie about my frustrations, I was met with a smug attitude and condescending tone. There was not an ounce of sympathy for my struggles. No discounts were given. Nothing was done to appease the situation. She offered to press the dress for free which I wasn't planning on getting a press to begin with. As a customer, I understand things happen, but as a business owner you can still try to make a happy customer and she did not. If she would have tried to turn things around I wouldn't have left this review. After the alterations, the day of my wedding my bustle was not done properly and there were holes missing. Please do not go to this business and take your money elsewhere where it is deserved.

  Wow I cant believe this place

  The owner literally told my wife she would look stupid in her wedding dress if she didnt spend and extra 250 for bussels on her wedding dress that didnt need them
