I chose Nat for our photography and videography for multiple events -- we are Punjabi Indian so they came to our Sangeet, Mehndi (Henna), Sikh Wedding, Hindu Wedding and Wedding Dinner/Dance Reception. From the moment we had our first call, Nat was so professional and knowledgeable. He made it all about US -- for example, we were very clear that we want "in the moment" photos instead of too many posed ones/ones where you have to step away from the party. We were clear that we're not into trends, either. He respected that, he never pushed anything else, and HE DELIVERED. I seriously wish I could frame every picture, lol. Then, how special is it that he comes with a videography team!!! They were amazing, capturing the sweetest moments, compiling something together that we will be forever grateful for. We got so many pictures, a social media highlight, a reception full documentary, and whole-events 7 min highlight reel -- most importantly, we got these memories from the best day of our lives and if you are seeking a highly qualified, kind, super talented, cares about you type of photography and videography, choose Nat and his team. You will be so, so happy. Thank you so much for everything. If we ever have a large event in the future, I'm calling Nat to see if he's available! -

If you're looking for an experience team for South Asian weddings, Nat is the best in the business. We also hired him for our videography and his team was incredible. We have large families and Nat and his team were patient and so easy to work with. Thank you Nat! -

Our journey began with Nat when we were first introduced to his work at a family friend’s wedding we attended. It was clear from his photos that we wanted to seek out hearing about his passion and dedication to this art. Nat started with a beautiful presentation about photos he had taken, the types of photos he takes, and what he can bring in capturing the intricate and subtle moments during a wedding. We were grateful and it was clear after meeting with him, he was the right person for us.
Nat worked with us to set up an engagement photo shoot which was such a pleasant experience. He is able to capture the natural settings in the background while also giving focus to the focal point of each photo he takes. As amazed as we were when we received our engagement photos, Nat and his team’s work for all three events of our wedding (Sangeet-Garba, Wedding, and Reception) left such lasting memories captured for which all of our family and friends will cherish for years to come.
The vision and ideas that he has when taking photos is so helpful and it enhances the level of that photo. We are not professionals by any means when it comes to taking photos or posing but Nat brings that out of you in every moment. We were grateful and so pleased with our experience that we would absolutely recommend him.

Nat was very responsive, helpful and professional throughout our entire process– when we first met; during contracting; during wedding planning when we had occasional questions; leading up to and as we got close to our wedding; at the wedding itself; and afterwards with photo delivery and follow-up. Working with him and his team was an all-around fantastic experience! What really stood out for us before the wedding was that Nat very kindly took time to meet with us and even our parents via zoom a few weeks beforehand, which made the day-of go even more smoothly since our parents were comfortable having met Nat and having had a chance to personally discuss some of the upcoming moments of greatest importance to them; we were so appreciative. During the wedding weekend, Nat and his talented team worked tirelessly and SO incredibly hard across our two wedding days - with utmost kindness, sensitivity, creativity, and ultimately fantastic results!! (One day was in a Ukrainian Church with the reception in a castle at a Botanical Garden, and the second day included a horse entrance (Barat), Hindu ceremony, and reception including dancers and singers.) Somehow Nat and his team were everywhere!, always there to capture both big and little moments, many times with us barely realizing that they were there – it was all so seamless! The team also has a fantastic sense of lighting and created some really stunning images, both inside and outside. What initially drew us to Nat was his gorgeous portfolio of photos, and we were so pleased with our photos having just as high quality and creativity. As a biracial couple, it was also important to us that the photos look great incorporating all of the beautiful skin tones reflected in the diverse backgrounds of our friends and family - and Nat and his team absolutely delivered. We have been re-living and re-remembering so many special moments thanks to our beautiful photos. We cannot recommend these guys enough!!, are very appreciative of their talent and grateful for all their hard work with us! -

Exceeds all expectations
I cannot even begin to describe how happy we were with Nat's work. We went over budget from what we had originally planned to spend on our photography (though Nat was very flexible in ultimately offering a package that fit our needs) but when I say he was worth every penny two-fold, I mean it. Nat lives and breathes his profession and you can tell that from the moment you meet him. What Nat and his team create is ART - they capture the little moments that you didn't quite realize were being photographed and diligently photograph the big things too without needing to be reminded of anything. When I first saw our engagement pictures, I got a new sense of motivation in the wedding planning process because I knew that even if I was making mistakes in any of my other choices, picking Nat to be our photographer was absolutely the right decision. He is so friendly, kind and patient and really feels like a friend at this point. He also must be working 24/7 because I received a few teasers almost immediately and then the full album (thousands of pictures!) faster than I expected to. If I could recommend one vendor to anyone, it would be Nat Wongsaroj. We are forever grateful for the memories that he captured which we'll have for the rest of our lives. THANK YOU!!! -

Nat is truly the best in the biz!
My husband and I just got married this past weekend, and can honestly say that we had nothing but an amazing experience with Nat and his team. Nat's professionalism, attention to detail, and photography skills are UNMATCHED. We just received a few photos from him, and cannot wait for the full album. His ability to capture the finest details and most beautiful moments is what really makes him stand out. We are in awe and will cherish these photos forever. HIRE HIM! -

Because his pictures are unlike anything you can imagine…
While there may be more affordable photographers in the area, finding and choosing Nat was one of the best wedding decisions we made. Hiring him was money well spent and I am grateful we found him. His artistry is unmatched. As we looked at the photo preview soon after our wedding day, my husband and my excitement grew and we anticipated what our entire gallery would look like…
The truth is what we received was beyond anything we hoped. Nat and his team captured every detail, angle, and moment in the purest way. I could see the vibrancy, joy and life in each photo. And I have never felt more beautiful than in his photos…
We had discussed doing a bride & groom sunset shoot during our reception. However, we got rained on and with the gloomy weather on our wedding day there wasn’t much of a sunset. Nat very generously offered to do a separate sunset shoot to make up for this lost opportunity!
As many people say - if there’s a vendor worth splurging on, it’s your photographer. And Nat is worth his weight in gold. -

Due to Covid we had to reschedule our wedding twice and each time I insisted that our schedules work with Nat's so he would still be available to take pictures for our Indian wedding weekend. My family didn't fully grasp why I was so set on Nat but they understood once we received the full wedding album.
Nat was incredibly kind and was a calming presence the entire weekend. Things didn't go according to schedule the day of our wedding but Nat made sure we got all the shots we requested.
I would highly recommend Nat if you are looking for a photographer for your South Asian or Fusion wedding. He knew all the right places to be and photos to capture for our Hindu ceremony and how to get the best photos of my henna. Nat captured dramatic and editorial shots as well as funny and sweet candids of my husband and I and all of our family and friends.
We have too many amazing pictures to choose from now and that's a wonderful problem to have. I truly don't think I could have chosen a better photographer for our wedding weekend.

Nat is a visionary artist and became a friend
Nat was hands down the best vendor decision we made for our wedding (and was in fact our first decision). I wanted to find a photographer that could capture emotions and feelings, not just static moments, and also turn that emotion into art. He did our engagement shoot, multiple wedding events, and despite being exhausted and hot most of the time, had an exuberant attitude and a determination to capture "that shot". My husband is very introverted and does not enjoy being the center of attention, and I am very extroverted and love to be photographed. Despite the personality difference, Nat worked SO hard to make us both feel comfortable in front of the camera, through playing games with us, making jokes, and treating us like family/friends. This was super important to us, because awkwardness and nervousness carry blatantly in a photograph. But somehow, the final shots were as though Nat and his camera weren't there. Every minute with Nat's team was honestly FUN. His team was also so, so friendly to our family and guests, which made all the difference for an Indian wedding in which one wrong comment or interaction can lead to a lot of drama. We even worked with another photographer for one of our events and the quality is a totally different planet - night and day compared to Nat's vision and artistry. He captures intimacy, nostalgia, grief, drunkenness, butterflies, affection, and so many other emotions so incredibly well. He knows how to work light, shadows, and angles expertly. We just got all of our event photos back and I continue to get comments about how awe-inspiring every single shot is. I can't wait to frame so many shots for my home! I would hire Nat and his team 10/10 times and look forward to the next occasion we get to work with him. Thank you for giving us beautiful works of art that we will enjoy for decades (maybe even centuries?!) to come! -

We had a very intimate wedding ceremony on 12.3.21 and I was very nervous about the photography portion given that is was winter and gloomy. Nat captured my day like a MAGICIAN and every photo is its own piece of art. His creativity is outstanding and he will make you feel very comfortable in front of the camera!! Definitely captured our emotions and our best angles!! I 100% recommend you hire him and his team, he is the best out there!!

There isn't enough room for me to rave about Nat and the experience we had! He was the utmost professional, talented and best investment we made for our wedding. Definitely recommend doing an engagement session beforehand... it really gave us an opportunity to work with Nat and his style, to see what our best pics looked like, etc. He captured the most memorable moments and we cherish those pictures from our engagement session and wedding. We will definitely have Nat take pictures for us for all our special occasions...forever! Thanks Nat! -

Nat is an amazingly talented photographer and such a kind hearted person. You can tell by how beautiful his work is that he absolutely loves what he does. My husband and I searched for the best photographers in the DC area and came upon Nat on the top 100 photographers in the world. We decided that if we were going to have one thing we splurged on for the wedding it was going to be our photographer. We hired him right after the consultation we had in his home. We had him take our engagement photos as well. On the wedding day he was incredibly professional and arrived with 2 assistants. They captured our wedding day in every way we imagined. We had such a great day and I feel they captured us so genuinely. We have memories that we are going to cherish for the rest of our lives. I am so happy we decided to have Nat as our photographer -- you will not regret having him as yours! -

He patiently broke down our various options and helped us pick the one one most suited for our wedding day. He is very prompt with his communication, which I very much appreciated. He did our engagement session pictures, our engagement party pictures as well as our akth and wedding pictures. He makes everything artistic and beautiful. Not only does he take the typical wedding shots but he takes very different types of pictures with unique backgrounds. His professionalism and friendly personality is what attracted us to use him. We fell in love with his vivid pictures on his website. He is very courteous and probably the nicest and loyal person anyone will ever meet. He works with you and gives you absolute perfection. And, his rates are great. I cannot say more wonderful things about Nat. He is a one-man-photo-shop and I wish I could hire him for every event I have from here on out!
