Great food and great value!
I hired East Coast Catering for my wedding in March and Johnathan was great, super helpful and attentive! The food was amazing, everyone loved it. The tasting was really helpful and Johnathan made some great suggestions for entrees and appetizers based on our notes from the tasting. Loved that you could look through past menus and pick from there. We went with the brisket, fried chicken and spring cavatappi vegetable pasta for our entrees and they were all amazing. We also rented our glassware, plates, utensils and napkins through them and that was all great and affordable compared to rental companies -

Above & Beyond
We hired East Coast Catering & Events for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience! From the very first conversation, their team was professional, attentive, and truly committed to bringing our vision to life. They took the time to understand our preferences, offered thoughtful suggestions, and created a customized menu that our guests are still raving about! The food was absolutely incredible — beautifully presented, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every dish, from the hor dourves to the main dishes, was a hit. You could tell everything was made with care and top-quality ingredients. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. The staff was friendly, organized, and made sure everything ran smoothly. They handled every detail with such grace and professionalism, which really helped us relax and enjoy our big day. If you're looking for a catering company that delivers both amazing food and top-notch service, we wholeheartedly recommend Chef Jonathan & East Coast Catering & Events. East Coast Catering & Events catered our wedding on May 31, 2025 and it was absolutely delicious! They worked with us on a custom menu and we did two rounds of taste tasting and they were more than accommodating for all of my knit picky changes! All of our guests absolutely loved the food and were a little surprised since wedding food can often be a tad unimpressive, but this truly felt like a meal in a restaurant. They also made us late snacks which everyone loved as well and were very accommodating of dietary restrictions. Their team were professional and easy to work with and we 1000% recommend them!

We used East Coast Catering & Events The food was incredible, our guests are still talking about how good everything was. Since our wedding was in a Flordia, a Southern menu was a must for our wedding, fried chicken was such a hit. The bar was also a huge hit and the whole experience really captured that fun, laid-back Coastal vibe we were going for. Beyond the food, working with the East Coast Catering team (especially Chef Jonatahn!) was such a great experience. Jonathan was super responsive, easy to work with, and really helped us get to a proposal that worked within our budget without feeling like we had to give anything up. On wedding day, everything went off without a hitch — food and drinks were flowing and we felt totally taken care of. Would 100% recommend East Coast Catering & Events for any event…delicious food, awesome team, and all-around good vibes! -

We cannot recommend them enough! The food was incredible, our guests are still talking about how good everything. Our Southern inspired menu & the fried chicken were such a hit. The bar was also a huge hit and the whole experience really captured that fun, laid-back coastal vibe we were going for. Jonathan was super responsive, easy to work with, and really helped us get to a proposal that worked within our budget without feeling like we had to give anything up. East Coast Catering and Events was fantastic! Working with them was a breeze - they are very organized and worked with us to design our wedding day food. The private tasting was a great experience. The food was delicious! And on the wedding day, everything not only tasted amazing, but Chef Jonathan made sure everything looked perfect as well. They even saved some of the appetizers (and kept them warm!) for us after the ceremony. -

Hiring East Coast Catering & Events for our wedding was such an incredible decision! Chef Jonathan and the team were so kind and professional. Our guests had only wonderful things to say about the DELICIOUS food. When it rained during our cocktail hour, Jonathan and his team were flexible and professional- they worked quickly to make sure our guests were happy and that the party could continue. Chef Jonathan did an awesome vegan dinner with passed apps. It was so delicious that not one of our non-vegan guests had anything negative to say about it. I still dream about the salad dressing.
Truly fantastic, got tons of compliments, price was much better than other quotes we had. We had a lot of fun at our tasting too. Thanks, Chef!

East Coast Catering & Events (food truck) was AMAZING. Not only was the price so budget- friendly, but the food was delicious. My guests were raving all night over the delicious tacos, sides, and churros. For our tasting, the chef came over and personally chatted with us, and I really appreciated the personal touch. The whole process could not have been more easy or professional. Hire East Coast Catering & Events to cater your wedding, you will not regret it!! -

We had a great experience with Nashville Events & Catering from beginning to end. From the start, Jonathan was always quick to communicate! He met us halfway in Huntsville for our tasting, and helped us to really personalize our wedding food (my husband and I went to Germany a couple years ago, so we wanted to do bratwurst and soft pretzels for our apps). Jonathan and his team made it happen! Their food is truly delicious (especially the smoked meatloaf), and the team is amazing. We knew we wanted to do some fall-inspired signature drinks, and the bartenders gave us a list of ideas to think about. The drinks ended up being a hit with our guests - Most of all, the bartenders had a smile on their faces whenever I saw them, they gave me a margarita shot before the ceremony, and one even helped our planner hold open the doors before I walked down the aisle with my dad. Hands Down the Best!
Nashville Events and Catering was amazing! We lost contact with our original caterer 6 days before our wedding. Jonathan and his team jumped right in with very little notice and made our big day the very best! I cannot say enough great things about Nashville Events and Catering. Jonathan was extremely easy to work with, very responsive, and excellent at communicating. Our food was phenomenal, the display look amazing, and the staff was so great! I contacted Nashville events and catering a couple weeks before my rehearsal dinner after my other caterer ghosted me. I found them on Instagram and we were so impressed with their menu and had to reach out. I couldn’t have been more happy with my decision to hire them, they arrived on time, blew my expectations and the food was absolutely delicious and everyone was raving about it. I would 10/10 recommend using them for any type of event. I can’t wait until I have an excuse to use them again! -

Jonathan and his team were awesome to work with. They loaded in so fast and quiet that I hardly knew they were there!! They worked great with my coordinator and all I had to do was show up eat delicious food and enjoy friendly servers! We had Jonathan do a cocktail hour with passed apps (rave reviews for both the bourbon bacon stuffed mushrooms and chicken and waffles) and a buffet dinner service (highly recommend the rosemary chicken in pinot grigio sauce). Jonathan’s team also managed the bar service and did a wonderful job! The food was delicious and one of my bridesmaids even overheard one of the servers commenting on how much they loved working for Jonathan and that he is one of the best in Middle TN! From my very first email with Jonathan every question was answered & every detail was met. The food was not only delicious but fresh & local. Jonathan was an amazing help with many aspects of my planning and truly a delight to work with. He even provided rentals! When it came to my budget Jonathan made sure I had all my ideas incorporated so that I was able to keep things affordable. My family could not stop talking about the delicious food. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. Nashville Events & Catering is amazing. I highly recommend them to everyone and anyone.

Exceptional in every aspect!
Jonathan and his Team provided professional and efficient service at my daughter's wedding (Nov 2, 2019; Promise Manor, Lynchburg, TN. Working with him in the planning process was painless. He offered unique, upscale menus that were very reasonably priced; very responsive to my questions and very flexible with changes. They arrived on-time, served according to the schedule and executed flawlessly. We had passed appetizers prior to the meal which were outstanding (stuffed mushrooms, sweet potato tarts, petite cheese pulled pork end biscuits). The buffet items were delicious and beautifully presented. We selected asiago chicken, beef shoulder roast, orange/cranberry pork tenderloin, harvest wild rice, brown butter green beans and roasted butternut squash/brussels sprouts/cranberry/pecan salad. They allowed ample time for everyone to be served; they were very efficient in their teardown and cleanup without imposing on the wedding party. I also rented the table flatware from him which was lovely. I would rate the overall experience with this Team as EXCEPTIONAL. -

Leah Sent on 11/16/2017Jonathan and Amber and their team was amazing. Our first tasting was delicious! Then, everything after was very easy and flexible. They worked with me on every detail to make it perfect. I had a buffet style (2 entrees, 2 sides, house salad) with 3 regular drink options and beer and wine. Their staff attended the food, bar, and sliced and served our wedding cake. They made my sweet cake for cutting! Very reasonable with price and we had food to take home along with our cake, so all of my worries were taken care of! I also rented my table linens and cake stand from them!!

Came late, messed up service, left early.
On top of arriving late, they did not review materials from our coordinator and did not know which guests should receive which entrees. Then instead of serving dessert to guests based on what they ordered, they placed it on a table and made it a free for all. A lot of guests did not get what they ordered. They also failed to give out enough silverware and walked around passing out forks from a ziploc after my coordinator pointed it out. The desserts from the “farm fresh menu” that we spent a lot of money on were store-bought and frozen. Lastly, they took the table settings apart and left two hours early. They even threw away personal belongings that were on the tables while we were all dancing. -

We hired Jonathon for our wedding in May of 2021 and to say he dropped the ball would be an understatement. He was nearly two hours late, missed cocktail hour entirely and then presented us with cold food. His staff served our wedding cake out of the boxes to the guests like it was a birthday party. The meal served wasn’t even what we had ordered and agreed on. The only thing that happened on our wedding day that was actually out of his control was his truck breaking down en route to our reception. I get it. Shit happens. But really upset us is how he handled everything from that point on. Jonathan wasn’t even at our event because he double booked himself. He couldn’t help fix any of the issues. He didn’t see any of it happen. And the true slap in the face came when he offered us 10% of our money back after all the issues I mentioned. This small business owner took $4500+ of our families’ money, failed at his job, and then offered us $500 back. We’ve been back and forth with him for months via email with nothing to show for it except apologies and excuses. It’s awful. He made an enormous mistake on our wedding day and then didn’t have the moral compass to give us our money back. That’s the only reason I’m even here—I’ve never written a negative review in my life! Ultimately, we feel so personally slighted by his complete lack of empathy and downright refusal to compensate us fairly that this seems like our only choice. This may not deter you from using him at your wedding, and that’s fine. But from our point of view, Jonathon was dishonest and unwilling to take proper financial action as a vendor when it mattered most. -

We hired Jonathan with Nashville Events & Catering for our wedding at The Cordelle and were incredibly disappointed in him as a caterer. Everything that could have possibly gone wrong did; largely due to the fact that he had double booked himself on our wedding day. The truck broke down on the way to our venue and his staff was over an hour and half late to the wedding. Jonathan chose to oversee operations at the other event, not ours. We didn't have appetizers for the cocktail hour and guests went hungry until the very late dinner. His staff was incredibly unprofessional and we heard reports of the staff being rude to multiple guests and vendors. The food was served cold and our guests complained that the portion size was too small. Guests left hungry. Despite the plethora of failures on his part, Jonathan offered an insulting 10% refund. We would never recommend Nashville Events & Catering for your wedding day.East Coast Catering & Events's reply:
Dear Carly, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are extremely sorry your experience did not match your expectations. This was a very uncommon instance with a wide array of issues that we attempted to handle the best we could in the moment. While the substitute deli trays we provided last minute were not what the planned appetizers, we do hope that the guests were able to enjoy some of them during the cocktail hour. We also sent the appetizers discussed for the bridal party and many of the guest with our back up team and the food, we hope you received them. We truly hope that none of our staff were rude, unprofessional to any of the guest or wedding party. We have spoken to all of the staff from that day and have scheduled group training classes with regards to service, professionalism and more. With regards to the food temperature, portion size and vendor meals. We are sorry the guest felt the food was cold and the portion sizes not adequate. We do know there were meals for the vendors they were just ask to wait so we could ensure all the guest received there meals in a timely manor. A broken down catering vehicle on the side of the road or the poorly executed event should not be the memory of one of the best days of your life. Nashville Events & Catering holds high standards for our selves, our staff and each event. Were truly sorry our services did not satisfy your expectations and vision.
