Kayla and her assistant, Emily, were amazing on the day of my wedding! The trial beforehand was easy, and Kayla was willing to try multiple styles in one appointment to make sure we found exactly the look I wanted. She even ordered a different kind of eyelashes that I wanted to make sure everything was just as I pictured! On the day of the wedding, she came to my house and did the makeup and hair for myself, our moms and all of my bridesmaids. It was so fun and relaxing to get ready at home in our pjs, drinking mimosas and everyone looked and felt amazing! Kayla and Emily were able to do exactly what each girl wanted for their hairstyle and makeup. I absolutely loved every detail of my hair and makeup! It lasted the entire day and looks amazing in our pictures. Kayla was the most reasonably priced stylist that was willing to come to my home and it was the absolute best decision to hire Kayla for my wedding day!

I absolutely loved Kayla! She is so sweet and listens to what you want. I would recommend her over and over. She uses air brush makeup and it lasted the whole day. The eye lashes she uses for the wedding day are beautiful also! We had lots of laughs on my wedding day and she really helped make it so special!!

Kayla did all my hair and makeup for my wedding on October 10, 2015 and she did an AMAZING JOB! First off, it was so much fun and so nice and put you right at ease especially on the most stressful day ever. She made my bridesmaids look gorgeous! And best of all, they made ME look gorgeous. The hair was beautiful and my makeup flawless. I have honestly never felt so beautiful and I got so many compliments! Thank you you girl so much!!!!!

Kayla is the absolute best!!! I have been seeing her for my haircuts/coloring previously and once I heard that she did bridal hair/makeup as well, it was a no brainer. She is very receptive to what you want and has an eye for detail. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup on my wedding day and all of my bridesmaids were very pleased with their hairstyles...a few of them said this was the best professional hair styling they have ever had for a wedding. She is very reasonably priced and not to mention SUPER FAST and efficient. Her assistant Emily on the day-of was also super awesome. I would recommend them to anyone and have done so!

Kayla was one of the first to respond to me when I began my request, but most importantly, she was the warmest--even through e-mail. I felt incredibly comfortable making requests and her ideas were absolutely intuitive and on target. We all know HOW IMPORTANT the perfect look is so this combination is vital. Kayla is lovely to work with and the gals at her salon (for the trial run) were equally sweet. She is independent so her rates are more reasonable than a salon (another bonus). It was all around a great experience.

Kayla is the best hair dresser that there is. She is very friendly and she arrived early to the venue. She was on site. She did my hair, my matron of honor's hair, my flower girl's hair, and my mothers hair. She also did my make up, my matron of honor's make up and my mother's makeup. Everyone looked gorgeous. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Kayla was extremely reasonable in price and did a great job! She was very professional, on-time, and a lot of fun to work with. She was able to come to my house (where we were getting ready) which make it very convenient for me and my bridesmaids. Everyone loved their hair and make-up.

Kayla did a beautiful job on my wedding party's hair and makeup. All the ladies were extremely happy with how they looked. Kayla did a great job organizing everyones time so we could stay on schedule. She was one of the easiest vendors to work with and very friendly. I would highly recommend!

Working with Kayla was absolutely wonderful. She did my hair and makeup for the day of the wedding, along with my wedding party and family members that requested it. She came to the hotel I stayed and and was very flexible as far as being able to work in last minute requests for people who either needed to add services or change their schedule. Loved her!

I am so happy I had Kayla do my hair and makeup for my wedding! I received so many compliments and it still looked great at the end of the night. She did hair and makeup for myself, 5 bridesmaids, and makeup for my mom in record time. Kayla is truly talented!

Kayla was great to work with for my wedding. She did hair and makeup for me along with hair for all of my bridesmaids. The best part for me is that she was able to come to our hotel so everyone was much more comfortable and we weren't in a salon for hours. The trial run is included in the price which is great! Everyone was happy with her service!

Kayla was so wonderful to work with - we are so grateful we found her for our wedding day! Not only are her prices EXCEPTIONAL compared to everyone else I could find near Nashville but her kindness, professionalism, and work was excellent. I asked Kayla to help with several of my bridesmaids hair and makeup and she was so quick and efficient but her quality of work was great. Kayla has been a dear friend of mine for years. So, it was extra special to have her do my hair and makeup for the most important day of my life! She went out of her way to do my trial run around my schedule and then met me early in the morning at my home for the day of the wedding. She left plent of time for everything to be done on my wedding day so that I wasn't feeling stressed about my schedule. And she even gave me a sample of the lipstick she used on me so that I would have enough to last through the day. We were completely on the same page about what I was wanting for "my look" which was great because I ended up looking exactly the way I had hoped. I am thankful to have had Kayla be a part my wedding day!

Kayla was absolutely wonderful. She did both my and my Mom's hair and makeup. I provided her an inspiration picture for both my hair and makeup and she was able to adapt those ideas to fit me perfectly. I was so happy to have her with me that day. Knowing that my hair and makeup was fantastic was just one less thing that I had to worry about that day. My skin looked flawless in pictures and my eyes were natural but dramatic at the same time. My mom had not worn makeup in 25 years and Kayla was able to style her in such a way that she felt comfortable and still natural.
I live in Clarksville and Kayla lived in Gallatin. She was still able to work very easily around my schedule so that we could meet to do a trial run. I felt very relaxed around her. She was easy to talk to and I didn't feel hesitant to express what I wanted.

Kayla was amazing! We had a great trial session where she really listened to what I wanted and she put together a look for me that just perfectly matched up to my vision. She was very easy to work with and the day of the wedding couldn't have gone more smoothly. She did hair and makeup for each girl in my bridal party and everyone was so happy with what she did. Our makeup and hair not only looked amazing right after she did it but it lasted till the end of the wedding! Everyone complimented how we looked.

I loved working with Kayla for all of the wedding hair and makeup needs. She is so sweet and is very talented. Kayla came to me on the wedding day and made it a lot more relaxing by doing so. She did my entire bridal party (minus the flower girl), mom, and mother in law, and a friend's make up. She is so fast, but doesn't slack on her quality. My hair and makeup were flawless the entire day, and that is with my wedding being outside, middle of June, 90 degrees, and by the lake. Her prices are great too...especially for everything that she does. I have already recommended Kayla to a few people and know of one who went with her.

Kayla did such a wonderful job with my hair and makeup on one of the biggest days of my life--my wedding day! Her passion for beauty and making her clients feel stunning is extremely evident in her work. She was great to work with, truly wanting to give me the look I desired for my wedding day! Kayla did a wonderful job making myself and my bridesmaids feel beautiful for the big day! I started having Kayla do my hair cuts and color about a year before the wedding. This was great because she got to have time to know my style and perfect my color. She is very professional and extremely flexible...she has more than once stayed late into an evening or come in on a holiday to work around my schedule for bridal pictures, etc. She is very patient and focused on making her customers feel their best. I loved having a trial run because I was able to see the look put together better than a picture, and I ended up not choosing the original hairstyle I was set on after she tried a couple different looks. She is very quick and efficient, but she still creates beautiful hairstyles and makeup. She is very calm and collected on the day of the wedding, making it easier for everyone else to relax. The airbrush makeup and false eyelashes are wonderful! They look great in all the pictures and you never have to worry about touch ups...even in the sweaty heat. Kayla is amazing at what she does and you will be 100% satisfied with her work!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about ‘Hair and Makeup by Kayla Jenkins’!

When my husband and I found out he was deploying overseas, we moved our October 27, 2012 wedding date up almost five months to June 2, 2012.

Kayla was the very first vendor I had booked early on for our October date, and she was more than accommodating when I had to switch dates at the last minute. She had another wedding scheduled that day already, but went out of her way to work me in and to make sure I felt beautiful on my wedding day!

My Maid of Honor and I arrived early, early at her studio the morning of my wedding. I was a little nervous having my hair and makeup done so early, since my wedding wasn’t until 6pm…but Kayla worked her magic and I looked the same at 6 as I did that morning! She was also so sweet offering to drive over an hour to my ceremony site after her other wedding was finished, just to touch-up my hair and make-up, if needed. Everything held up as she said it would, so no touchups were needed!

My hair was curled and pulled up in a low, textured bun. It was exactly what I had in mind, and it stayed perfectly! My make-up was also done beautifully and aside from lip gloss, I didn’t have to touch up a thing all day/night! My make-up was very comfortable and I loved the way she accented my eyes while still making it look natural. She made me feel beautiful…as she promised!

Kayla also includes a trial-run hair and make-up session with her bridal packages. I was working on a really tight timeline, but again, Kayla was extremely flexible and made sure she gave me all of the time I needed at my trial run to make sure I was happy with everything.

I would highly recommend Kayla for any hair and makeup service, not only on your wedding day, but any day! She’s the best!

Kayla has been doing my hair for around a year now. I had my hair and makeup trial for my wedding about a month before the wedding. I had in mind what I thought I wanted, and when we tried that it just seemed a little too casual. I told her I was considering wearing it up but I'm self conscious about my ears and wanted them covered. She said she would try something and when she finished and I looked in the mirror, I loved what I saw! I didn't even know what I wanted, but she somehow created the perfect style for me. She was easy to work with and doesn't try to make you look how she wants you to look. She assures you that anything can be changed if you don't like it. My hair and makeup looked great and the airbrush really did stay on through all the dancing and sweating.It was a big relief not having to worry about doing my own hair or makeup. I loved the false lashes too! She is the best and you won't be sorry you used her!

Kayla is amazing with hair and make up! The heat on my wedding day I thought I would sweat all my make up off but I didn't. She did everything in a quick manner and very polite and talkative. And don't worry about having blemishes or anything because she is amazing at covering all those marks! I would recommend her to anyone. Her prices are great and reasonable.

Kayla was SO SO SO great for my (and my bridesmaids) hair AND makeup!! She not only works with hair and makeup, but you will truly form a relationship with Kayla to the point where she is truly able to work your style into your special day (even if you don't know what your style is, she's THAT good). She cuts my hair on a regular basis and the relationship we have built made it a no brainer that she would be there on my special day. We did a trial run and she was even so helpful as to come with me for my bridal portraits to touchup my makeup and be there for me because I was nervous. She had her professional style and opinions (which I needed because I wasn't certain what I wanted) but also made sure to incorporate my style to the best of her ability. She was so great, and I can't reiterate enough how great it is to have a stylist for your wedding day who is also personable and interested in having a relationship with you. She truly loves what she does and that shines through her throughout her work!

I would HIGHLY recommend Kayla to any bride looking for a stylist for their makeup (and bridesmaids) for their special day! She traveled to our location, brought everything, set it all up, which made things WAY less stressful. It was great! She knows how to make you look stunning, beautiful, and elegant, all while letting your personality shine through!

She is also super flexible and willing to work with you on time and location. We were able to work out a package deal for myself and my bridesmaids and she is definitely willing to work with you. You can count on Kayla and she won't be one of those overly pushy hair or make up girls who wants you to look how she wants, she wants your day to be YOUR DAY and however she can make that perfect, she will!!

Not only did Kayla do an awesome job on my bridal shoot but she made my wedding day flawless. My make up did not smudge and my mascara did not run. Perfect! I would recommend her to anyone.

Kayla is amazing! My wedding was at noon, and Kayla was at my hotel room by 5 in the morning to make sure myself and bridesmaids were ready for pictures by 9AM! She is so accommodating and fits your individual schedule for your wedding day! She made everything go super smooth!

I have always trusted Kayla with my hair, and my wedding day was no exception! My hair really did look perfect and I was very pleased with my make up as well. Kayla was very responsive to what I wanted to do for my wedding. When we did my trial run she assured me that we had plenty of time to play and practice as many hairstyles that I wanted. She truly wants to create your dream wedding hair and will do anything to make sure you are happy with it!

Kayla and her assistant Emily were amazing! They did makeup and hair for the bride and bridesmaids. Everyone loved the work they did! The airbrushing was fun! They are super fast (but still did an excellent job) and very flexible!

She is very experienced... she knew I was getting stressed out the day of and told me to take some deep breaths and asked if there was anything she could do! Definitely recommend her to any bride and bridal party!

I absolutely loved working with Kayla! She is a true professional with a great skillset. She made the entire hair and make up process for my wedding simple and fun. She was easy to work with and took my direction well. I especially enjoyed her affordable pricing as a stylist that traveled and used her own products (airbrushing was a must have!). The finished product of hair and make up made me the most beautiful bride ever! Highly recommned!!

Kayla was absolutely great from beginning to end. I found her website by searching online, as I was planning the wedding from out of state. I contacted her, along with several others, and she was by far the most responsive, helpful, quick, and friendly stylist that got back to me. She was upfront and clear about all costs and expectations. Kaya was very professional and flexible with my schedule, my bridesmaids' requests, and listened very well to everyone's ideas for hair and makeup. The airbrush makeup was nice and the eyelashes were fun! She provided great service, great quality products, and good company while we got ready for the big day! I have no complaints at all about the the entire process. Kayla is easy to work with, accomodating, and makes your wedding day easy and fun. One less thing to worry about!

I hired Kayla probably 2-3 months before my wedding. We had a signed contract and I paid her a deposit. I never would have thought from the first time we met at my trial run that I would be scrambling days before the wedding for someone for hair and makeup. Long story short a week before the wedding my mom wants to add family members (not wedding party) to get hair and makeup. I spoke with Kayla about my mother's request but said she worked alone. So my mother called the salon to schedule appointments for everyone else. Kayla attitude changed when she was not getting to do everyone's hair and became very rude. She demanded that she does everyone in the parties hair per the contract. The contract clearly stated 3 people and she was getting 3 people. (Not to mention my wedding day was her birthday) She said she wouldn't be doing my hair if she didn't get to do everyone's hair. Not only did she not do my hair and makeup, she didn't refund my deposit. She was very unprofessional and selfish! GO TO SALONLUXE FOR HAIR AND MAKEUP! They have a great team, stylish updo's, and won't just take your money.
