What a Party

Patrick really came through for us on our big day! He was organized and provided us with EXACTLY what we asked for. He was on schedule and very tuned into making sure all of the important little things we requested happened before anything else. Will hire him again should we ever need another DJ.

Flexible and Easy to Work With

We would absolutely recommend Nard's for DJ services! We had Patrick as our DJ and he was flexible and easy to work with. He also made sure to check in with us if any songs were requested outside of what we had designated should be played. Overall a great experience!

We partied all night long!!

We were so happy with the derives we were provided by Nards! They were so professional and helped make our night go so smooth! The dance floor was NEVER empty, everyone loved it! He really does care about making your special night perfect, high recommend!!

Wonderful Wedding Day!

Patrick was great!

Patrick was not only an awesome DJ but also a great entertainer for the entire evening. He maintained the audio from the wedding ceremony through the reception. People were on the dance floor the entire night, dancing and singing. We had so many people say it was an incredible night and that in large part was due to the great job Patrick did with the music.

a seriously wonderful event

This is the second time Patrick with Nard’s has DJ’ed one of my children’s weddings, and i could not recommend him enough! He was super easy to work with and seemed to really care about setting the mood for the entire evening(even did the ceremony music!). Thank you, Patrick!

what a blast!

Patrick with Nard’s DJ’ed my daughter’s wedding in May, as well as my son’s wedding a few years back, and he hit it out of the park both times! He was a breeze to work with and had us all dancing the entire time! i could not recommend him more!

if you are looking for a DJ for your wedding, or any event really, look no further! Patrick with Nard’s was an absolute pleasure to work with and really set the perfect mood for our wedding! Absolutely MUST hire

Patrick at Nards DJ was absolutely phenomenal to work with. Not only did he keep the atmosphere during the day, but he kept the party going at night!! He knew exactly what everybody wanted to hear, even when we had no idea. He went above and beyond and helped answer all of our questions about the flow of the day, and guided us through all the events and what kind of music we needed. He didn't even blink an eye when we realized a week before the wedding that we needed him for the ceremony in addition to the reception! Whenever we were feeling panicky or overwhelmed, talking to Patrick soothed our fears completely -- he assured us that not a single moment would happen without every person involved being ready and in place. We were so reassured that he would keep our day from going off the rails! An absolute dream to work with. His expertise was absolutely invaluable, and our day could have never gone as smoothly without him. This is THE Dj for weddings in Richmond!

We got married this past May!

Patrick was a wonderful addition to our wedding! He was very knowledgeable and flexible. He did a great job DJing our wedding. Everyone loved the music and he knew how to keep a crowd on the floor as well as how to smoothly transition into different parts of the reception. He met with us before and took our compiled list of music to play. He was really fun and great to work with, thanks Patrick!

Amazing experience!!

Patrick helped make our wedding amazing!! He was always quick to answer our questions and went above and beyond in assisting our every need. He was extremely professional and made sure our wedding flowed smoothly. He was able to get a group of “non-dancers” our on the dance floor to dance the night away. Highly recommended!!!

Miranda was fabulous! Let's just say my plans for the wedding day went up in smoke, so it was chaos everywhere. I counted on Miranda to follow what we discussed, and she handle everything perfectly. Also, I have one of those families where not everyone is congenial. She took this all into consideration with speeches and what not, which definitely assisted with some of the madness that day. Miranda was able to go with the flow as things changed throughout the night. She was wonderful MCing the various parts of the reception. I would consider them again, anytime! I've already recommended them to a few of my friends getting married this year. With all the things that went wrong, thanks so much for being a straight arrow for us.

Patrick as phenomenal, from the very beginning until the end of our wedding- Patrick was responsive, informative, receptive to ideas, and flexible. He kept the dance floor packed the entire night- I mean PACKED and everyone had a wonderful time. He successfully combined my husband's music tastes and my own, while also pleasing the crowd! I cannot say how valuable Patrick was in our planning process and wedding. I would recommend him to anyone, for any occasion.

He is such a great professional. His experience is apparent in how knowledgeable he is in the timing of the music and ability to read the crowd. We had Latin/top 40/50s-80s music and he made it all work seamlessly. 10/10. Amazing.

Don't think twice!! Definitely go with Nard's!!!! We could not have been happier! Not only was Patrick - the DJ - competent and professional, but he was tons of fun!!! You would be NUTS to consider anyone else! They demonstrate such professionalism, but at the same time are so much fun to work with! Plus, because they are so competent, it helps take the stress out of things, when so many other aspects of wedding planning are so incredibly stressful! They are worth 3 times as much as they charge!! Patrick is exceptionally good/talented!

We had Katie as our DJ and from the minute we meet it was like having an old friend around. She knows her profession and also had an awesome idea for cake cutting song. We would have never thought to play Jaws but it was great. If anyone wants a great DJ who will fit in with any wedding crowd then Katie is it.

Patrick was such a great choice for our wedding. On a day that would normally be very stressful....it was not at all. Patrick was able to mix the mood and atmosphere perfectly. He worked very hard to make sure that we had the very best event. He did it with precision. I can go on with a bunch of superlatives but I think that the best way to sum it up was that it was the best day of my life and that Patrick played a big part in making it that way. Patrick did an excellent job at our wedding. Before the event he checked in with us multiple times to make sure we had all our vendors lined up and if there was anything he could help with. At the wedding our guests had a great time. Patrick was able to get everyone on the dance floor. He made everyone feel comfortable. The day ran seamlessly because of his organization and attention to detail. I would highly recommend using Nard's DJ for any event.

We researched many DJs, but none of them really stood out to us. We saw Nard's at a booth during the wedding expo. After meeting with them, we knew instantly that we were going with them as our DJ. Patrick has a great sense of humor, great equipment and both Patrick and James were very professional. James was actually the one at our wedding, and he did an AWESOME JOB! The dance floor was packed all night. We gave him a small list of requested songs, but everything else he chose was great! He kept the party going all night. Even our older guests were out there having a blast. It has been almost a month, and our friends & family are still talking about out wedding! They have all said they had so much fun and it was one of the best they have ever attended. Very memorable. You will not regret choosing Nard's. We couldn't have asked for better entertainment for our big day. :) Thanks guys!

Nard's provided a DJ for my wedding at the last minute after our original one had canceled on us. I was immediately able to get in touch directly with the DJ who worked my wedding. He was very professional and was able to choose the right music to keep the dance floor packed with guests without even giving him a list of songs. He also brought his own lights that added a nice touch of color to the room!

We went with Patrick from Nard's. He definitely kept the party going. He was very flexible, and was willing to stay past our contracted time with no problem at all. His music selections were awesome and all ages really enjoyed grooving on the dance floor! He really worked with us one on one to ensure that our music tastes were played and anything we didn't like was not played throughout the evening. AWESOME!

We decided karaoke was a must at our reception, and Patrick delivered. He handled the ceremony, dinner, dancing, and karaoke with ease. Our music requests weren't completely obscure but admittedly a little offbeat, and he had no problem accommodating our requests. Patrick and his staff are super responsive, which makes planning much easier. Our wedding was so much fun and very memorable!

If you are looking for a stress free experience, then this a great company to work with that will give you the biggest bang for the buck! We met with out DJ twice prior to our reception to review details. I think we both felt that our DJ had a very good understanding of the type of event we were trying to produce. Also, Nard's staff works really well with other event vendors to help put on a great party!

During the planning process Patrick rocked! He was very competent and accommodating to every little thing we requested. It was amazing and very nice compared to some other vendor conversations we were having. We met with Patrick twice to get everything planned out for both us and Nards. We gave him a list of songs (enough to both play during the reception as well as plenty in addition if he found he needed more) and requested he stick to the list; which he did!
What brought this review down was the day of the wedding. Patrick was there on time and all setup pre-ceremony (fabulous!) but he was constantly asking my husband questions throughout the evening! Needing to verify the line-up of the bridesmaids/groomsman as they walk into the reception is one thing, that was fine - and usually necessary - but asking questions we'd already answered during the one-on-one prior to the wedding.
He was MCing during the evening, which went well for the most part. He was supposed to invite all other mother-son couples to come out on the dance floor for the Mother-Son dance, but that never happened - which left my husband and her mother awkwardly dancing waiting for the announcement. For each big dance number, he came off the stage and took his own pictures (totally fine) but he continuously got in the way of the photographer. He was also very confused about who should be talking and what questions would be asked during the shoe game at the end of the reception, which is a game he suggested to us.
At the end of the night, the guests were happy with the song's played (from our playlist). Only my husband and I were bothered.
