10/11 wedding

Naomi and Angela were beyond amazing on our wedding day! We had a total of 11 ladies for hair and make up and they both finished early! Less than 5 hours and we all felt incredibly beautiful. Angela even went out of her way to touch up one of our grandmother’s hair when she came into our room. Every bride wants to feel like a princess on their wedding day and I’m so thankful I chose this duo to make it happen! Every single one of my bridesmaids felt incredible. My best friend loved them so much, she is using them for her wedding in June 2020. Naomi and Angela thank you both so much! You are truly artists in your profession and I would absolutely recommend you two for any wedding! No wedding is too big or too small for them.

Flawless Hair & Makeup

Janice (makeup) and Tonya (hair) from Naomi Salon came to my parent's house where we were getting ready morning of the wedding. We had such a lovely morning with them doing our glam! Myself, my bridal party (7), my mom, and my mother-in-law all got our hair and makeup done (10 women total) and we did not feel rushed at all. Everyone loved their hair and makeup and it lasted all night! We were so impressed with Tonya, each bridesmaid wanted a different hair style and every time she finished a girl's hair it always looked exactly like their example photo! Janice personalized each girls makeup based on their complexion and what they were hoping to get, she made everyone look unique yet cohesive as a group. I would recommend to everyone, and would definitely use them again for an event!

couldn't be happier!

Naomi was the best! She did the makeup for my sisters wedding a few years ago and as soon as I got engaged I knew who I wanted to have do my makeup! She came directly to us to get ready and the whole bridal party was raving for the rest of the day! Everyone loved her. My makeup lasted and I didn't want to take it off at the end of the night! Naomi is definitely worth it!

The best ever!

I had the greatest team for my wedding, Naomi (makeup) and Angela (hair). Words can never express how great they are. They are so professional and amazing at what they do. I had Naomi doing 13 people’s makeup, and Angela 11 for hair. They were flying through people, each person looking stunning and flawless. I have been in a lot of weddings and never have seen a better hair/makeup team. Everyone in my wedding party agreed. They showed up on time and got everyone ready with time to spare. If you want to have a relaxing wedding day, make sure to book these ladies!

You don’t need to look anywhere else!

Save the stress and book Salon Naomi for hair and makeup right now! I had Naomi for makeup and Angela for hair and I couldn’t imagine having anyone else. My hair is fine, straight, and does not hold a curl well. Because of this, I was very nervous in choosing a half up, half down style. But, Angela made my dreams come true! Not only did my hair come out perfectly, it stayed perfect through a very windy day and ALL NIGHT! Same goes for my bridesmaids and moms! I also don’t wear much makeup ever so I was nervous about having a professional makeup look. During my trial, I asked Naomi for something pretty natural. On my wedding day, I went for it and asked her to glam me up, and it was so worth it! During the sweating and jamming out at our reception, my makeup and hair stayed perfect all night long! We all looked so beautiful because of Angela and Naomi’s wonderful talent! I recommend them wholeheartedly for any bride!

Janice was absolutely amazing from the first day I met her until my Wedding day! I never wear make up and when I say never I mean it so I was a bit nervous as I wanted to look as natural as possible on my wedding day. Janice listened to everything I said and made me so comfortable and even offered her suggestions about making my eyes pop a little more. Not only did she do my make up the day of the wedding but she also did 4 of my bridesmaids, my mother, my mother-in-law and my grandma-in-law which was added on at last minute. Everyone was done on time and looked amazing. We all received several comments about how amazing we all looked. Janice, thank you for being so fantastic and patient with me through this whole process. I can’t wait to have you do my make up again whenever I need it.

Naomi did my wedding makeup along with my bridal party- and it all came out AMAZING! I'm not a big makeup girl normally, but she did a tremendous job making sure we achieved a beautiful, natural look. We all received so many compliments on our makeup throughout the day- I would recommend her to anyone I know and will absolutely be going back to her whenever I need makeup done again.

I used Candice for my make up and Tonya for my hair. WOW. Everyone looked absolutely stunning! I had a very large bridal party (15 people) and when Tonya and Candice told me they could do everyone in the time frame I needed I was a little bit skeptical and didn’t really believe them. BUT you should! We were finished way earlier than our allotted time, and honestly everyone was thrilled with their look. I should also note they are so much fun and really added to general vibe while getting ready! Please hire them! They are FABULOUS!!!

My best friend for married two summers ago and Salon Naomi did our hair and make-up. I knew instantly that when my big day came they were the ones I wanted for the job! Naomi did our make-up and Angela did our hair; they really transformed all of us and made us feel like a million-bucks!! For special occasions like this you really want to see the transformation, feel grogeous, without looking tacky or cheap and really have them bring out your natural beauty and they do just that!! You cannot go wrong with Salon Naomi. From the minute I filled out the online request form Naomi immediately called me. She is very attentive and also has a passion for make up. Naomi listened to everything that I wanted with make up and she was amazing. All of my bridesmaids, looked perfect! Let's start with Naomi ....
Naomi was our makeup artist for the day. She is truly talented. My skin looked flawless and my eyes popped. She is an artist. She knows how to bring out your best features while still looking like yourself. She uses high quality product and my makeup lasted all day. My bridesmaids also looked stunning! She is kind and easy to work with. She is also organized. I have never felt so beautiful.

Next was Angela. Angela was our hairstylist. She is amazing! I have never seen someone complete hairstyles so fast. Her quickness does not impede the quality. My entire wedding party was chic and elegant. I absolutely loved my hair. At my trial she listened to my vision and executed it perfectly. My hair was replicated the day of the wedding. I felt glamorous and beautiful. I think it is important to note that there was 12 women that needed to get their hair done. 9 bridesmaids, myself, my mother and mother in law. Angela started at 7am and was done by 1145am! Our goal was 12pm.

If you are nervous about only having one makeup artist and one hairstylist for a large party do not be! These ladies are talented and know what they are doing. We were ready on time and everyone looked stunning. You can't go wrong with Naomi's!

I cannot say enough about how amazing Naomi and Angela were! Naomi did mine and my bridal partys make up while Angela did our hair. They were absolutely the best! All of my girls looked fabulous and I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life then I did on my wedding day thanks to these two. Naomi did the makeup for my wedding , there isn't much else to say but just WOW!!! All of the girls looked drop dead gorgeous. I originally did a trial with her and I knew immediately I wanted her to be apart of my day. She is so sweet and you can tell she is passionate about what she does. Angela and Tanya came to do our hair--2 amazing ladies! I did my trial with Angela initially and the final product came out exactly how I wanted it!! They did 9 girls in about 3 ½ hours and everyones hair stayed in all night long (I still had wedding hair for breakfast!!) Cant say enough thank you's to this salon for making me feel so beautiful on the most important day of my life.

My sister got married 3 years before I did, and she had hired Janice Raccio and Jenna Poitras to do her hair and makeup. I knew that when my day finally came, they were going to be doing my hair and makeup too. These women are SO talented and lovely, they both really listen and do exactly what you want. Jenna is so fast and did my 8 bridesmaids in no time, and all the girls were so impressed with their hair styles. Janice's airbrushing techniques are incredible, and all the girls were blown away by their marks and spots that instantly disappeared. I would hire them again in a heart beat!

I have been in a few weddings that used Naomi, I decided her use her for my wedding too! Makeup is beautiful, she did travel to my location ( this did include a fee), she was very professional and effcient given the large amount that needed to be done. She was open to moving time around to accomodate my photos. I had Naomi, there are also tons of other artists that do a great job as well! She did push her salon products some at my trial, but not on my wedding day. They offer mini-facials to the girls, but this costs extra then what is negotiated in your contract. I would use them over and over again, my makeup looked awesome and I felt gorgeous

Naomi's Salon was recommended to me by two of my friends who had used their services for their own weddings! I am so glad I selected them! Janice was our makeup artist and she did all the girls in the wedding party, myself, and both of our moms. Each person's natural beauty was brought out through her application of the makeup. Everyone looked phenomenal! Janice was easy to talk to, friendly, and so fun to work with! She put everyone at ease (even those of us not used to wearing makeup) - and made us all feel wonderful! All I can say is WOW! From the beginning I knew I was in the right hands for my wedding. I had the chance to work with an amazing salon.

Tonya did my hair, my seven bridesmaids hair and my mom's hair for my wedding. She did an insanely great job on everyone's hair. She is absolutely talented and great at what she does. She listens to what you want and delivered above and beyond. From the very first trial to the day of my wedding she hit the nail on the head! I was in love with my hair and my entire bridal parties hair.

We also had Janice for our make up, she did mine, my seven bridesmaids and my mom. She did a stunning job on all of us. From the beginning she listened to what I was asking for and made sure I was happy. My mom, myself, sister and a few of the other bridesmaids decided to get mini facials before Janice did our make up and boy were we in heaven. It was the best decision we could of asked for it made our skin feeling silky smooth and our make up looking perfect. Janice has a way with her hands, she is very talented and leaves you feeling stunning. I was so beyond happy with my make up and the girls and everyone had nothing but great things to say.

We had a ball with both Tonya & Janice we didn't want it to end!

Overall, Naomi's Studio & Salon can give you everything and more for your big day. They make you feel beautiful and that is just what you want on your big day.

Tonya and Candice came to my home the day of my daughter's wedding. Their work and professionalism was magnificent. They arrived at 9:00am and in less than 4 hours the hair and makeup of the bridesmaids, mother of the bride and groom was done to perfection.

I had Jenna for Hair and Candice for makeup and both were AMAZING and made me feel like a celebrity! This part of wedding planning was tougher than others for me because I was ok spending some money on my hair and makeup because I was the bride, but I also wanted to make sure the girls in the wedding were ok spending the money as well. I am happy to say that all of the bridal party plus my cousin and mother in law used their services and EVERYONE loved their hair and makeup. I have never been in a wedding where everyone likes how their hair and makeup turned out and I honestly can say that not one person had a concern with Jenna and Candice's work! My sister (my MOH) even had her hair one way, then felt it was a little too old for her style (Jenna did a beautiful french twist) so Jenna had no problem taking it down and starting over and my sister was thrilled with her new look. For me, I really felt like a celebrity and flawless which made one less thing for me to worry about that day. If I could afford it, I would have Jenna and Candice do my hair and makeup every day, that is how awesome it looked! It wasn't too much to the point where it was like "wow, she is wearing too much makeup and too much hairspray". It was just enough where I looked like a more glamorous version of myself which I loved and my husband did too :) I absolutely recommend Jenna and Candice and really anyone from Salon Naomi as the quality of their work shows.

I used Naomi for my make-up artist and Angela for hair for my wedding. LOVED LOVED LOVED them!!! When I first got engaged, my cousin highly recommended Naomi and I am so thankful she did. They made me feel so beautiful and I looked like a princess and I owe it all to them. They were both very sweet, and listened to what I wanted. Angela was very accommodating with all of my bridesmaid's hair. One of them did not like the way her hair puffed out in the back, and Angela fixed it with no hesitation whatsoever which was awesome! I first had my makeup done by Salon Naomi at my sister-in-law's wedding. It was so amazing I had to book them for my own wedding a few years later. My makeup artist was Janice and she was so incredibly sweet. She made my bridesmaids, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and myself look so incredibly beautiful. As each lady had their makeup done I was in awe of how gorgeous they all looked. Janice was able to finish all of our makeup in such a timely manor. I had Janice from Naomi's Studio & Salon to do my makeup as well as my bridesmaids and mother the day of my wedding. I can't even gush enough about both Janice as a person and her work. I opted for having her stick around until the ceremony and was so pleased that I did. She came with us when we took pictures before the ceremony, touching up me and my 'maids between shots. We felt absolutely pampered! And she was such a help, jumping in to carry my veil or bouquet when my 'maids weren't around. What a doll!! And the makeup!!! Everyone looked absolutely stunning!!! Perfection. Next time I need my makeup done professionally I am going back to her.

Oh my gosh - I loved my makeup on my wedding day. So much research was done on who to use for makeup and hair. She came highly recommended to me!
Let me begin by saying that out of all of the vendors I was most worried about, it was my makeup. I wanted to feel like a stunning bride that day and I wanted the makeup to last (especially because i have super oily skin and it gets that much worse when I am nervous!, hahaha!); I wanted it to be noticeable and really show up in pictures and my very dark venue without looking like 'war-paint' as I like to call it. Can I just say that I honestly felt gorgeous that day! The makeup really looks beyond stunning in the pictures. My eyes - oh my goodness....to die for! I choose the most expensive package and I'm so glad I did because I had the makeup to take with me for touch ups. My wedding was 1 1/2 months ago and I loved the makeup Naomi used on me so much that it has now become my everyday blush and everyday lip gloss. I also went for a trial and had Naomi clean up and shape my brows - WOW, what a difference it made in my entire look and how much more my eyes popped!
She is so pleasant to deal with too. Super super sweet, friendly, and funny. I was so nervous the morning of my wedding and she just gets so excited about the magic she can do to you that you're immediately put at ease. She made me beautiful and I am so grateful to her for that! Love her!
Now for hair...Angela - you rock!!!! I CANNOT believe how quickly she turns your hair into a masterpiece. I have had my hair done multiple times and always asked for 'softer beachy curls' that will look natural, yet, last the entire night. The first and ONLY person who has understood me and was able to achieve this - Angela. My hair looks awesome in my pictures!!! And, I couldn't believe that the next morning, my hair still rocked! I hated to wash it!! hahaha! Even while keeping it's curl and shape, it had that soft look, and NOOOO 'wet crunchy' 80's look. Love her!!!!

Naomi and Angela were a true pleasure to work with. From the very beginning, Noami was responsive and helpful. She was even responding to my emails late at night in order to get back to me quickly. Angela and Naomi came to my mother's house to make myself, my mother, and my 5 bridesmaids the best we've ever looked. Angela made my hair look exactly like the photo I showed her and all of my maids looked gorgeous. Naomi knew exactly what makeup look would be best for my face and it withstood hugging, kissing, and dancing all night. The next morning it still looked flawless. The best part about the whole experience was how calm and nice Naomi and Angela were when we were all anxious and excited for the wedding day. I would and will recommend Naomi's Salon in a heartbeat, she is by far the best vendor I used for my wedding.

I was recommended Naomi's Studio to use for my wedding hair and make-up through my wedding venue (Cascade). I contacted them regarding my November 30th wedding and immediately received prompt responses from one hair stylist (Tonya) and one make-up artist (Janice) who both had my date open. The nice part about the website is that they have bios and pictures of the stylists/artists. I set up my trial runs with each and loved them both! The responses from each leading up to the wedding were prompt and professional! They are flexible even the day of the wedding too! At the last minute I had changed how I wanted my make-up and my hair! Janice easily accommodated and my make-up was truly flawless! It stayed looking that great the whole night! I am very picky when it comes to my hair. I was nervous changing what I wanted at the last minute. My trial I had my hair half up half down, for my actual wedding I decided to do it up! Tonya was great at helping me make the decision! Any when I wanted to make some changes to it even after she had finished, she did everything to make me happy! Both Tonya and Janice were the perfect team to make my wedding party and I look the very best we could! I would definitely recommend Naomi's Studio, and especially Tonya and Janice!!

After being in a couple of weddings where we had to travel for hair(ran really late), I wanted to hire a traveling team.I was referred to this salon by a couple of coworkers that had used these girls for there own weddings. I was blown away by there talent! Jenna made all of our hair styles exactly like the photos we showed her.Shaenna exceeded our expectations with makeup! I have never felt more beautiful in my life! All of my bridesmaids had their makeup done also, and each girl looked beautiful and classy...she did a wonderful job making each girl look beautiful (accenting natural beauty of course!). Even my mother, who wears little makeup, felt like a new woman. I loved the airbrush look and I loved my smokey eyeshadow.
She is great with time management and did not have to rush at all, everything went so well!

I found out about Naomi’s as my mom worked with a girl who is a traveling make-up artist for Naomi’s. I called and booked hair and make up for myself and the bridesmaids/moms right away!! Yes, they are expensive, but if you want to look absolutely stunning on your wedding day then I highly recommend them. They were easy to work with and I am just in love with my hair and make up for my wedding day. I had Natalia for makeup and Danielle for hair. They are both absolute sweethearts and showed up on time and responded to my emails within 24 hours. All of my girls were very happy with their hair and makeup also. I wish they could glam me up every day!

Janice is amazing! Not only did I love the way I looked, I loved the way all of my bridesmaids looked! She is very polished, and she is very good at what she does. She was an absolute angel to work with! She uses the best products too! My makeup lasted in the hot sun!! I seriously want to hire her again for a girls night out or something, I want my makeup to look like that again!!! The trial was so quick and easy! Tonya is also amazing!! She did the hair for all of us, and everyone was so happy:) she is the one that came up with my style, she did a waterfall braid with waves. She knows all of the latest trends and it shows!! Angela from Naomi Salon did my hair- she was so patient with me as I had 3 hair trials before I found "the one". She was very professional and talented. I loved my hair the day of the wedding! Where do I begin?! I booked with Salon Naomi a couple months after getting engaged in April, 2011. My mom's hairdresser, ironically, recommended Salon Naomi, and given that I trust her, we took her suggestion and booked with this incredible salon. We were, by pure and total luck, assigned Janice for makeup and Angela for hair. These ladies are/were/will be AMAZING and SO, SO talented! Janice worked her magic on me, my mom, and 5 bridesmaids. She did so quickly, patiently, and perfectly. She was so sweet and calm and made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world :) Angela is just as talented and sweet. When I went for my trial, I showed Angela a picture of something I thought was beautiful, and she created something even more beautiful. She worked quickly and amazingly on all of us, and was out of there in about 2 hours. Everyone looked beautiful thanks to Angela and Janice! Even though I would recommend that everyone (especially brides) use Angela and Janice, I have faith that anyone from Naomi would be spectacular; then again, I am a little biased and would say Janice and Angela were/are the best :) I will be back to Salon Naomi's anytime I'm back in the Harford area and need hair and makeup done - love this place, especially my two wonderful ladies!

Angela and Janice were the best. We had 6 girls and they were all done in 1.5 hours. They were so quick and efficient, it was amazing. Everyone looked beautiful and raved over their hair and makeup. I am from CT but got married in Boston...when it came to selecting a company for my hair and makeup, I wanted someone from CT to do my trials with and that could travel. I got a referral for Naomi's Salon from a friend and I am thrilled I made the decision to go with them! I worked with Susan Houde on my make up and Jenna Poitress on my hair. Both ladies did an unbelievable job! I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and received several compliments on my hair/make up job. Also, the girls in my bridal party (and the moms) looking amazing too! These ladies know what they are doing...they are the best in the business! I had to pay for them to travel to Boston, but it was well worth the expense and it was great that they even provide that flexibility. I am considering hiring them to do my hair and makeup for more occassions in the future b/c they are just that good...go with Naomi, I promise you won't regret it!

Naomi's Studio and Salon is the way to go on your wedding day.

They did an amazing job on my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids. The hairstylist Angela was calm and patient when my mother started to fuss about her hair. She took the time to listen and adjust it making sure she was truly happy with her hair.

I also appreciated how they already had a system worked out between hair and makeup. I thought it would get crazy with 5 women in a suite getting hair and makeup but it was so relaxing and organized.

I had my wedding makeup done by Janice for my June wedding and I soooo happy I found her. I live in Norwalk, so to go to West Hartford for a trial was a bit a drive. I am really really happy I did though. Janice was so nice and so professional during both the trial and the wedding day. She did a perfect job on my make up, not too much, not too little, just perfect. She stayed in touch with me before the wedding day, got all the scheduling and directions info way ahead of time and made it just in time on the wedding day. She did not need the directions on every part of the job, she just asked for the general idea and went with it. I really put that makeup to the test as our wedding day ended up being one of the hottest days of summer. We had a wedding in Long Island (the make up was done early in the morning in CT) and the ceremony did not start until 5pm. We spent the whole day in the park or the limo, taking pictures in the close to 100 degree weather and the makeup stayed on perfectly the whole time all the way through the end of the wedding. Pictures came out great. I highly recommend Janice for her professionalism, talent and wonderful skills as a makeup artist.

I absolutely loved Shaenna from Naomi's Salon and studio, she was so sweet and had such a great personality all of my bridesmaids and I loved her! My make up along with the bridal parties looked so great in pictures I know I will look back at my pictures 20 years from now and know I made the right choice to go with the airbrush makeup. This is a must to have a your wedding. We all looked so natural, but with a touch of glamour. With the airbrush it never even felt like we had makeup on. Shaenna was great, very professional, comes right to your house and a lot of fun. She is definitely an artist. Our makeup lasted all day and night. Naomi's Salon was definitely 10 steps above the rest. When it comes to make up, she knows her stuff! I was so pleased with my makeup on my wedding day, it with stood so many tears and countless kisses!

My hairdresser Angela was also amazing! She kept rolling with the punches, I added girls in last minute and changed my hair completely from the trial all the morning of the wedding. Janice did the make-up for the bridal party, myself, and my mother. I loved my make-up and could not have been happier.

I did the package in which they stay for four hours to touch you up throughout the evening and I am glad that I did. Janice made sure my make-up stayed perfect throughout the evening even on someone who has oily skin and who tends to sweat.

The airbrush make-up is amazing.

I cannot say enough about Naomi Martinez. She's a wonderful person inside and out. She's is truly a master at her craft of making women look beautiful. I've had my make-up done before, and never really cared for it. With Naomi. I was already in awe before the make-up had been finished. When it was all said and done. She made me cry. Naomi was on time, friendly, professional and did a great job! She airbrushed my makeup, my mom's and my best friends. We were so happy with the results and did not feel "made" up..the makeup is very light weight and flattering. She knows what to use for your complexion and what photographs best. She also does a trial included in her package to make sure you are both on the same page for creating the look you want for your day. She is open to suggestions and flexible. I did not give her any ideas as she is a pro and knows exactly what to do to make you look your best!

My mom is in her 50's and looked in her 40's! I am not kidding! Everyone was complimenting us and asking where we had our makeup done! She is a perfectionist and does not leave until she feels it is just right and it really is!!!

NAOMI was fantastic. I booked her almost two years out for my wedding and she was great then and on my wedding day she was awesome. She showed up on time and probably a little sooner than expected. She completed me plus 7 on time and everyone looked awesome including bridesmaids with skin issues. I cannot say anymore about her and her staff.

Angela did our hair and Janice did our make up for my wedding! They did an amazing job and everyone looked absolutely beautiful! They were both so nice and fun to work with and were willing to come bright and early to do our hair and makeup! Everyone still compliments me about how great my mother and wedding party looked for the wedding! I felt extremely beautiful and felt like my best during my wedding. Everyone looked flawless until 1 in the morning! The only thing was that I did feel a little rushed getting ready for the wedding especially because it was an Indian wedding that required a lot of time to put the outfits on and it wasn't a quick outfit change! I would probably recommend if there is an Indian wedding to hire another hair stylist just because I did not get all the pictures I wanted with the girls and myself in the robes I got them and we did not have enough time to just hang out before the wedding, everything was very rushed. It was any other wedding, I think having one hair stylist and one makeup artist would be perfect!!!! It was just because a lot of time was needed to put each girl in the outfits since they couldn't simply just throw them over their heads and be done in 1 minute. Or if they came just a little bit earlier, I would not have felt as rushed because it was perfect amount of time to get everyone ready and done just in time for photos but not enough time to relax before the wedding. Overall, I would recommend Naomi Salon to any bride! They all love what they do and they do a phenomenal job! :)

I loved working with Naomi and Tanya! I requested a 1940's movie star glam look and got exactly that. My makeup stayed flawless all night and my hair relaxed into perfect retro waves. They also made each of my bridesmaids look stunning. If you want to look really special on your wedding day do not hesitate to hire them. They are the best in the area and seem to get a lot of commercial work. The salon books way in advance for wedding so make sure to book as soon as possible. My only other tip is to make sure you keep very good track of your deposits bc you will have two separate contracts for hair and makeup and it can get a bit confusing if you don't keep good records of what you paid when. I had booked initially with only 3 girls for each and then added many more later. Thank you again Naomi and Tanya!!!

Naomi (makeup) and Tanya (hair) did a beautiful job on me and all my bridesmaids. We were so happy with the final result. They are also so nice and friendly!

I didnt send Naomi pictures beforehand of what I wanted makeup wise which was a bit of a mistake because then she didn't bring all options for makeup, but I was still thrilled in the end with the final result.

Very thankful for these talented people!

The airbrushed makeup was awesome. Candice did an awesome job on the makeup. She arrived early and went right to work. She was very accommodating, my ceremony was at 10am and she came at 6am. I also needed her to coverup my long thyroid scar on my neck and she did a great job because I could not see it in pictures. Everyone complimented on how beautiful all the girls look. Both of my sisters had Naomi Studio did their makeup for their wedding years ago. It is pricey but well worth it. Best makeup artist and highly recommended!

Laura from Naomi's Studio, West Hartford did my wedding on the day of my wedding as well as the mothers and all the bride's maids. She was calm and very professional. Laura was easy to make changes with and all of us looked so beautiful. The airbrush makeup lasts all day, it is a bit pricy but worth it all the way! I would recommend to any bride!

Naomi and Angela provided make-up and hair for myself, mother, and bridesmaids for my wedding. We were all very pleased with the results! Naomi is very friendly and very, very sweet. These ladies are true professionals and have the hair/make-up routine down to a science...my girls and I were finished ahead of schedule and did not have to rush off to the ceremony, which was nice. I got the package for $165 that included the corner clusters, the body shimmer and lipstick. The bodyshimmer never made it on and I hated the lipstick shade (I dont think it was the same one she used on me). However, I loved the false eyelashes and they totally enhanced the look, therefore it was worth the extra $15 just for those. Totally worth the extra fee of having them come to my location as well. Make sure you book them the day after you get engaged!

Janice did both my trial and my make up the day of my wedding along with some of my bridesmaids. I was very pleased with the way my make up came out on both occaisons. Janice was flexible and quick to respond to emails. She was very friendly, on time, and professional. My only slight disappointment was that the wedding package charges you significantly more for eye lashes and a body shimmer. The eye lashes were the same ones I have bought in the past at Wal Mart and the body shimmer was Jergens shimmer lotion. I feel for that amount of money the quality of make up should be nothing short of department store and/or professional quality brands. The make up was fantastic though and would recommend getting it done minus the package extras that you could obviously do yourself.

Naomi originally did the hair and makeup for a wedding I was a bridesmaid in. I loved the job she did so much that as soon as I got engaged, I made sure to call and book an appointment right away. I made the appointment about 10 months in advance, and it was well worth the planning because she does extraordinary work. I had a blemish she was able to cover up beautifully (every bride's nightmare!) and she gave my unfortunately stubby eyelashes an amazing look by placing individual faux lashes in just the right spots for a remarkable, natural looking difference. My pictures came out stunning - even the dreaded close-ups!

Naomi and her staff were exceptional to work with!!

I had my hair and makeup trial a year before my wedding and I knew right then that I didn't want anyone else but them taking care of me on my big day. I was an emotional mess on the day of the wedding but Naomi and Angela were very patient and did a phenomenal job! It was like having two extra bridesmaids with me while we were getting ready.

A few months after the wedding I had the opportunity to work with Naomi and another one of her hair stylists (Yolanda) and they were just as awesome as the first time. I would highly recommend Naomi's Studio and Salon!

The makeup and hair was all beautiful. I found it to be pricey but they have been doing this for a long time and I had nothing to worry about and that made the cost worth it.

I chose Naomi to do my wedding makeup and Angela for hair and they both did a fantastic job! It's amazing how fast they work and my hair and makeup lasted all day and night. I would definitely recommend them!

I used Naomi for makeup and her assistant Angela for hair. What a great team! They did hair and makeup for myself, 5 bridesmaids and my mother. Everyone was extrememly happy and hair and makeup looked great in all the pictures!

I met with Naomi and did a makeup trial which went great. She was initially hard to get a hold of and didn't respond very quick, but if you contact her early enough you should be okay. She then recommended Angela for hair and several months later I did a trial with her as well. Both ladies listened to my ideas while giving their professional opinion.

Both ladies were very flexible as I had to change the time and location of where we were getting our hair done several times. On the day of the wedding Naomi got lost and was about an hour late, which made me nervous, but we got everything finished in time without rushing. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend both to anyone!

Naomi and her team were amazing to work with! They made everyone in my party look like the most elegant version of themselves. I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life- thank you!! We worked with Stephanie & Danielle who are incredibly talented and extremely fast. They were able to transform my bridal party of 9 bridesmaids, two mothers and myself into wedding ready glamazons within four hours and the hair & make-up lasted well into the night. We each had a slightly different style which all complimented each other to create a cohesive vision. So happy I decided to book this team - cannot recommend them enough!

I had the most fantastic hair stylist Angela and makeup artist Janice. The two of them were my dream beauty team and at the end of the day left all of my bridal party very happy with their wedding day looks. It's amazing how thorough they could be going through over 10 girls each, and in such a short amount of time. If you're worried about them getting through everyone in time on the day of, don't be! I was thrilled to work with each of them and would book them again if I had the chance. Unfortunately I was not as pleased with my experience with Naomi as I felt although having booked their service well over a year in advance to lock them in, I was heavily pressured to have the exact # of girls deposits paid for (I knew roughly it'd be 10-12 but needed a little time to confirm before paying for an unnecessary amount). This I felt was inappropriate as I was committing to at least 10 and had them paid for but was threatened that the ladies could be booked for a wedding after mine. I don't see how the difference between a couple of girls would enable them to go and do another wedding after mine either way and again we were still over 12 months out. Fortunately, majority of my correspondence was with my stylists directly and this is who you interface with your wedding day.. neither of them should be penalized for Naomi's lack of professionalism so it was definitely still wonderful working with them.

Over all the service is costly but that us known going into booking Salon Naomi. But I want piece of mind that everything would be great and having had other bride friends use them was a driving factor for me to book them. Angela did my hair and was amazing. She took 3 ideas I had and blended them together for a fantastic look. She was professional, kind, and punctual. I would definately recommend her for anyone she did long hair and very short hair for updo and was great at it. I had Januce for make up. She was nice as well. But needed reminders about certain things that had been previously discussed during trial including my MOH not wanting airbrush make up. I was not completely satisfied with my trial but was able to find another picture to covey what I wanted and was very specific about things I wanted tweaked the day of and over all things came out great.

so i cant really say anything bad about our service expect it was way too expensive. we had a huge bridal party with one stylist and she is amazing! she can do an amazing style in less then 20 min with curls and everything! she didnt exactly do what i asked for my hair but it looked good and i was so busy i didnt complain. 3 of the bms werent happy with their hair bc the curls fell out immediatly, i would have suggested to them that she put their hair in an updo at that point and i asked her to stay for the photogs and videogs for just like 15 min to get some shots and i turn my head and shes out fast as lightning. the job was sufficient but for 80 bucks a girl i would have made sure everyone of their hair was perfect.

I had Naomi come to my hotel to do our make up, and Jenna come to do our hair.

The way the salon does their contracts is by service, so I had one contract for the hair and one for the makeup. Having two contracts wasn't a big deal, but there wasn't one person who could talk to me about both at the same time --- or who could schedule my trial for both h&m for me. So basically I had to hire two different vendors out of the salon for my beauty needs. Jenna was very responsive and always called me back or got me the information I needed, but Naomi (or her assistand/front desk) seemed clueless about my event and it look many phone calls and emails for me to get info on my contract and to schedule my trial.

In the end I had to schedule my trial and H&M on two different days -- which was less than ideal for me but it got done.

The wedding day couldn't have been smoother, and the final product on everyone exceeded expectations. I have never met an up-do that I liked, but Jenna gave me something that was contemporary and lasted the entire night -- very rare in my experience. She was also flexable and added in my two flowergirls and a grandma last minute which made everyone's day that much more special. Naomi's make-up was flawless and the pictures reflect that.

In the end I was thrilled with the end product and with the face that we were all done on time (which I was convinced was impossible with so many people). I chalked up the miscommunications to the fact that they are so good that it makes them busy -- I just wish they would streamline their process for weddings a little more.

Eventhough I gave them a 3.7, they are a definite recommend.

If I could do my day again, I would not go with Naomi's Hair and Make Up Salon. My make up looked beautiful the day of my wedding and so did my hair and my girls. However, I thought they were extremely over priced for the bridal package plus mileage fee. This wouldn't be a big deal to me if everything else prior to and the day of were better. I emailed them a week before the big day to let them know my future mother in law was not going to participate in the make up portion any longer. I knew I had made the deposit already and was willing to eat it. However, I did not hear back from anyone until the NIGHT BEFORE MY WEDDING!!! This is when they decided to check in and make sure we were all set for the next day! Two hours before my rehearsal! During this phone call, I informed them about my mother in law and was told not only did I have to eat the deposit but I also had to eat the rest of what she would have paid because they were planning a slot for her. I was not happy about this, especially since she was going to be there for 9 other people anyways! It wasn't like it was only two or three people. Then when Naomi was at my house doing make up, she was on her phone constantly. This made me very upset and it felt as though we were just money coming in rather than a wedding party excited for the day.

Since then, I have spoken to a few people who have had similar experiences with this salon and have not been pleased.

I had so many problems with this salon that I don't even know where to start. My biggest complaint is the make up artists take FOREVER to get back to you. One of then had emailed me. I emailed her back. NO RESPONSE. Another one emailed me. I emailed her and called her. She emailed me back FOUR months later saying sorry she was just seeing the email now. When you are trying to plan a wedding, you are on a time crunch so this is unacceptable.
Next I went for my hair trial at the salon and checked in with the receptionist. She said she would tell the stylist I was there. The stylist came down a half hour later saying she was never notified that I was sitting there waiting for her. I went upstairs with her and we talked about the style I was looking for. After that she told me it was now too late and she had to leave so we would have to do the hair trial another day(all because she was waiting upstairs for a half hour for me while I was there). She still had to charge me a consultation fee for meeting with me!!! (I would not have had to pay the consultation fee if I had the hair trial like I was supposed to).
Finally on the day of my wedding, my hair came out very different than in the hair trial. I was okay with it since I liked the style, but it was not what was done in the hair trial. Lastly, my hair started to fall out near the end of the wedding. I was assured that this would not happen. Now I have wedding pictures of me where my updo is coming undone in them.
Overall it was a very frustrating experience and I would not recommend them.

Rude & Not kind...If you want STRESS hire this woman!

I Venmo' d the owner Naomi Martinez 295.00 in June, 2020 for hair for my daughter's wedding. My daughter also hired her for hair and makeup. The wedding was to be in Sept. 2020 but due to the Pandemic it was moved to Feb. 14, 2021...Valentine's day. Naomi moved the date as she was not booked. To be thankful, I supported her business by purchasing ionized acidic water she makes and claims is sanitizer that kills 99% of all germs and could be used on any surface including your face & it sanitizes everything. She also claimed she was sending them to nurses at Yale (see pic.). So I thought that it was the real deal. I paid her cash through Venmo for all transactions. The water was shipped and the 1st shipment came and leaked everywhere in shipping. When I called her she never offered a refund and said that had never happened before like I was lying. Because I didn't want any issues I just purchased 3 more bottles and she said she promised they would ship correctly. I had a bad feeling about her product and professionalism then.

My daughter's fiancé had a change of heart in Nov & left her. She asked me to deal with all the fallout as she just couldn't and as a Mom my heart hurts for her. I contacted everyone... the venue, the band, the photographer, the florist, the caterer and all were so amazing and returned her deposits due to the sad situation. They were all heart broken for her. Naomi never responded to any of my emails, texts or instant messages. My daughter also tried and nothing. I finally got a text from her the other day

"Hello, We had a death in the family so it's been a difficult month for us planning due the funeral etc. So I have been behind on messages. We certainly don't make anything difficult for our Brides but I don't remember receiving a message from you or her. We will process the refund on Feb. 1"

I felt horrible and responded "I am sorry for your loss. Thank you, and I will let my daughter know we should expect our refunds on the 1st thank you"

We never heard from her again... I reminded her again yesterday by sending a text saying "FYI, we never got our refunds".

Her Response, "Hello she never provided me with a credit card. Since the retainer she was made through Venmo. She can call me directly"

I was so confused, as businesses always refund someone in the same manner in which they paid. We went back and forth via texts, I finally said "please don't contact me again" as it just wasn't worth it. I then got this text from her...

"this is why we deal with brides directly and not their mothers. Our brides are adults, and as a business owner dealing with them we expect them to behave themselves in a mature way... We transferred her wedding date without charging her a cancellation fee for the original wedding date...If your daughter wants a refund she needs to provide me with a credit card information, and I will make her sign a waiver before I release the funds. You are not our client, she is. I need to do the refund on your credit card information that has her information not yours. You at as a business owner should understand that."

She was nasty & rude, & in my opinion its odd she requested payment through Venmo (cash) and then wants to refund on a credit card. I took the high road & texted her "refund me or don't, it's your choice to either do the right thing or not, but don't contact me again". She then texted me & threatened to write bad reviews of me & my business if I don't take this post down, she has never used my business! One of the most important things to me in life is kindness. Naomi is someone I would never interact with again. I am out 295.00 for services not rendered. I am also sending the sanitizing water she sold me to a lab because in my opinion its just plain water...Shame on her!

**I need to be clear... For some odd reason In Naomi's response on my google review she called me an attorney, I am not an attorney an NEVER stated or insinuated I was, I did state I was in law school but NOT an attorney...again confused? She also threatened she would wait until I became an attorney to report me to the CT Bar? This has nothing to do with my school, the CT bar or any industry that I may work in the future. It was a 100% threat to scare me to lose a career I am working hard to obtain.

Disappointed and disgusted

My makeup for my wedding was not one star but my experience was horrible. I hired her for hair and makeup for myself and 6 others. 2 bridesmaids decided not to use her for either service after I paid deposits on them though had not signed a contract. I informed her months prior and didn’t sign a contact until 2 days before my wedding. I assumed I could use that deposit towards the total. She told me I could only use it for in salon services even though no contract was signed. I had no choice but to agree. She was a half hour late to arrive on my wedding day which then made me 40 minutes late for my first look that my on time husband waited for. This rushed my pictures. She charges one amount for non bride hair and makeup no matter what the person is getting done which was $95 for each though her website stated it was $80 or $85 she said that was an old price. The site needs to be updated. 4 minutes was spent on my grandmothers hair that looked unflattering and she gets her hair done every Saturday and looks good, and another 4 minutes was spent on minimal makeup and paid $190 for this. The hair stylist was 15 minutes early that day and pleasant. My bridesmaid informed me she made a rude comment about her husband. I believe Naomi was upset that she and the other bridesmaid had services done with another salon because she was cold towards both of them when they arrived. 6 months after my wedding I contacted her for in salon service for the deposit I lost. She cancelled one hour before my appointment due to an emergency which I was completely understanding about. I called and left several messages with her answering service for several weeks after my last minute cancellation and never received a call back. I emailed her and finally got an appointment that I did not want after how badly I was treated but was not losing my money that she obviously wanted me to give up on. My spa facial and eye treatment were completely rushed and not as described on the site. I emailed her afterwards and forwarded the services I chose to be sure this is what she did and she said it was though it was not as described whatsoever. She also tried to sell me everything under the sun while I was there. She was more interested in selling me product than my service.
